Bay Street has really upped its game with this new restaurant. The food was delicious. We were a bit intimidated by the menu because we didnt know what the menu items were. So we sampled 5 bar bites from the happy hour menu. All were exceptionally good. We also sampled the creative cocktails. Well definitely be going back for this elevated dining experience.

Great mix of shops, restaurants, casual and fast food with an 18 screen theater + other entertainment. Plenty of pay parking and you can easily walk to Ikea next door for more food options. Theres a toddler play place, and mini golf - something for everyone! And much of it is new.

This place is a bit sanitized but with cleanliness comes godliness or in this case way less crime. Although there isn’t any grime either. And lets be real grime is 30% of the hipster appeal. Go to Tesmescal or the lake for your grime. Come here for an American mall. Like one you would find back east.Them adding beer, outdoor fire, and plenty of TVs for sports makes it essentially an outdoor sports bar

Still developing but a great spot to spend an entire day doing various activities. The street offers many high branded stores (pink, express men, sunglass hut..) for clothes, shades and others. It has a huge Barnes and Nobles book store to hangout if interesting in checking out new books and AMC right next to it to watch movies of interest, IKEA right next to the Bay Street. The only downside I would say is that parking is a bit expensive, no exclusive charging stations for EV cars despite of paid parking. Parking details are no where mentioned. A lot of things are in walkable distance like outlet stores, Trader Joe’s and so on. Definitely recommend it.

Excellent place to walk around outside and shop at all of the shops located on Bay Street. If you want style and a multitude of shopping and dining options then Bat Street in Emeryville is the place for you. Ample parking too. Both paid and temporary unpaid parking with plenty of easy accessible pickup and drop off locations located along the strip which is decorated with waking seating and kiosk shopping ( pre COVID ) along the sidewalks. Witnessed a store robbery while visiting here. Pretty deserted. So basic stores. Parking can be found on the mains trees if youre lucky otherwise the parking garage. Security and police officers are usually in the vicinity but that doesnt stop the robberies. Not somewhere Id take children or elderly on a day that is slow. Better to visit when its busy.

Bay Street Emeryville is a pretty cool place to go for overall entertainment. It is has undergone a lot of construction and still isnt finished. They have a new line up of restaurants replacing the nostalgic Fuddruckers with a shake shack and Humphrey slocomb ice cream. . They have opened the deck where they put in an outdoor bar and lounge area featuring many sofas, a fireplace and TVs to watch sporting events. You can find clothing, technology and even see a movie. Its clean, theres a parking structure. Your car usually doesnt get broken into here. I deducted a star because the vending machine didnt work properly. I wanted water, it gave me grape soda. Theres a huge water button to push so theres no mistake. They should probably fix that.

I think the shopping center is nice but the deal with the parking is a bit ridiculous. First of all I think its absurd they make you pay when you are already going there to spend money shopping. Then they want you to prepay on your phone with a QR code??? What if all I have is cash with me when I go shopping? Or what if I happen to leave my phone at home that day? Then what do they expect you to do?

Replace your parking service system. It’s difficult to figure out and impossible to validate parking. Nobody in the businesses or on site knows how it works, and the parking company is not reachable. It’s basically a scam. Everyone hates it. You are literally losing business because of it. Because of the parking situation, I am not going to shop at this location anymore.

We go here for movies, book shopping, and the occasional meal. There is a ton of new construction happening at the moment. Looks like new restaurants and shops to renew interest. They have a parking app now that can frustrate customers. No longer do you grab a ticket, pay, and exit. Nope. Now you must a) choose the correct parking area, b) decide how long you will be there (in advance), and c) pay in advance, or you WILL be ticketed. You can get a significant discount for validating at the AMC Theater or Barnes and Noble.

Worst parking garage in the world.I have never before seen a large parking garage like this one with NO markings or signs to help you find your car. Hilarious kids comedy with personable artists. They were kind enough to be funny without the adult humor. They had the littles laughing hysterically; they for sure made a comedy fan out of her. It was a good first comedy show for a young person. She wasn’t scared to laugh at the off color jokes. I had fun just watching her laugh and have fun.

Go to Veranda in Concord if you can. Windy and cold, but thats tolerable. However, the staff in the common area are pretty aggressive in telling you that you cant move the tables together... What? Why? I have 7 people in my party and the tables only sit 4? Yeah, but you cant move the tables... Ok so are there signs that say dont move the tables? Nope, just the aggressive security and janitors telling you you cant...Ok. I think we will go elsewhere for family time.

This place is great and has a whole day of shopping and activities. Parking is surprisingly easy to come by, but be prepared to pay a meter or a parking structure. Another thing to note is that finding stores on upper levels can be difficult if you try to use Google to guide you.There are pianos on the walkways for customer enjoyment. The streets seem clean and there was even a public bathroom which I was grateful for.

Beware. They’ve changed the parking payment system. Now you have to know how long you’re going to be there and pay in advance. Imagine my surprise to discover after the movie that there aren’t machines to pay for your parking. There is some mechanism for getting a validation at the theater, but I couldn’t get it to work. But it wouldn’t have mattered. They had already placed a $30 “invoice” on my windshield.This theater, it seems, is trying to lure patrons back by gouging us. There are other theaters to go to. I won’t be returning to this one.

Tip: not many great choices of restaurants around the actual mall if you’re walking, but you’re very close to restaurants in Emeryville / Berkeley border (near San Pablo Park) and also Temescal. Bay Street used to be an amazing place in the early 2010s but it really has fallen apart. The best restaurants have left, the movie theater began price gouging, and the parking lot system payment system changed in ways that allow for scammers to take advantage of people. It’s really sad to see the appeal of Bay Street deteriorate like it has.

I enjoyed window shopping and I also liked that the streets werent busy. I would have given five stars if my experience at Sephora wasnt so tragic. The employees were lazy and rude and personally, I think management should clean house and find people who want to work. Also, AMC movie theater should come with a damn map. I thought I was losing my mind attempting to find the entry to the theater until I ran across 2 other people who were just as confused and lost searching for the entrance.

Easy to get to with Emery Go Round.UPDATE: Theyre really messing things up to make the coming grocery store vehicle accessible. The designers are too heavily into their car-brains. This is a fun theater to visit. Plenty of things to do and places to eat before the movie starts. The theater itself is pretty decent as well. Send to be kept clean. For list movies sometimes Ive had to line up outside but over all it is a nice experience.

This used to be the spot when I was a teenager, a lot of years later and its not as bustling and full as it used to be. But there are still a lot of great stores here. This particular time that I came up with my friend. I was looking for some African attire for a musical that I am in. I saw on Google that there was one store in particular and decided that we should go check it out. Thankfully because Bay Street was not so busy, my friend and I were actually able to park very close to the building.

Movie theaters. Parking was easy. Box office is one level below entrance. I thought all of their theatres had recliners to my disappointment. If I was better at navigating their website maybe I could have understood that. If I had I would have gone to a theater that I have passes for that is closer. The condiments are inconsistent. I had to go to the condiment stand farthest from my movie. They do offer validation if you can find where the machine is placed. Overall it is an good place to see a movie.

Bad communication regarding the new parking system: TLDR just use the old school pay station. I tried using the app. Im tech savvy. Apps dont scare me. I went to AMC to watch a movie and paid for parking via the app before watching the movie. The instructions via the app were lackluster. But the real frustrating thing happened after the movie was over. AMCs parking validation QR code scanner was essentially camouflaged against a wall in the theatre with no signs to point out it was there. So I accidentally went to the garage only to realize there was no scanner down there for my QR code. no way to validate. no signage to help me understand the scanner was actually IN the theater. I asked a couple people and they were clueless too. I had to go back up and ask where the hell the scanner was. Only old school pay station for me from now on. The app experience was not worth it.

I know this wont happen to everyone, but I was upgraded out of the blue upon check in, which was awesome. Its not a very tall building, but if your room faces the bay, its a very nice view. Windows are huge, which I love. The building has a very clean, modern aesthetic. Receptionist at check in was pretty much the only staff member I had contact with, and she was stellar. This was a while ago, so I hope the hotel is still operating this way. Ill definitely will consider it again if Im in the area.

Bay Street is definitely a cool place to hang out with friends and shop until you drop. Its has an open foundation so even during this pandemic state you can feel comfortable walking about. Its also a bonus that Barnes & Noble is there as well. Definitely my favorite spot!

So much to choose from here! Love the outdoor stroll, popping in and out of stores here. On this day, we visited the movie theater, which was extremely clean. Bathrooms were stocked and very tidy. Staff here were friendly and energetic. Snack bar offers a variety of goodies to satisfy all. Visited stores afterward. H&M was surprisingly stocked well. Racks were packed! I used to love Bay Street, but I think its outlived its usefulness. The only reason for 3 stars and not two, its got one of the few remaining Barnes and nobles mega book stores.the AMC theater is one of those old-fashioned theaters with the uncomfortable seats. The selection of eating establishments is down to about 3, four if you count the yogurt place. If there is no crowd, the parking lot is relatively convenient.

The new mgmt switched to a terrible parking company, Parksmart. if you dont correctly predict how long youll be there, youll come back to your car to find a $30 citation on your windshield for all day parking. To refute, you have to print out a form and mail it to them. I would rather never go back to Bay Street, and do my best to spread the bad word about it. Hopefully, mgmt will dump them soon.

This is a good go to mall in Emeryville to run errands. Since its small the stores have limited selection, but a good place to do a quick shopping trip. Its clean and well kept. Theres also a nice theater (overpriced) to pop in and watch a movie afterwards. You have to pay a nominal fee for parking, which is fine if youre doing a quick trip. Bay Street is composed of condos/apartments on top and retail on the bottom level. Pre-pandemic, there were a lot more clothing and accessories retailers as well as restaurants open. But Bay Street was facing a rash of closures before the pandemic hit and it’s only exacerbated the closures more quickly and with more finality. There is an Apple store that has security, but is always the target of theft. There’s a 2 story Barnes and Noble bookstore that is open. The AMC theatre has not opened yet (per Alameda County). There isn’t a ton of shopping here anymore, hence the 3 star rating. There is construction going on to create an eatery area and general construction near one of the entrances to parking. There is street level parking. There is also a paid parking garage. I’ve seen food trucks parked and serving in front of the former Old Navy location. Bay Street has nice seating outside of the Barnes and Noble and I’ve been able to unmask to eat and drink. I like to walk to and around Bay Street, but don’t really shop here much since I really only buy groceries and have cut out incidental stuff since the pandemic hit. Pre-pandemic, Bay Street would have holiday events, weekend events geared towards families, and community building events like blood drives. The blood drives have continued, but I hope they’ll restart all of the Bay Street events when it is safe to do so.
