Awesome Customer Service!Fiancés laptop has been having issues connecting to the internet, so we tried many troubleshooting problems, we even tried a system restore and none of that worked. To make matters worse, during one of the system restores we reset the laptop causing a critical failure rendering the laptop basically dead. At this point were thinking of just buying a new one, but we decided to try to find someone to help us fix it first, after searching on Google we found Bay Area Computer Repairs, and its raving reviews. So I gave Niel, the owner a call he was very nice and professional the whole time, he told me he had an opening on Sunday in the morning and his home office in San Mateo, after a quick ride over we met with him and he went right to work diagnosing the issue. Despite the condition the computer was in he was able to pull all important files off of the laptop and back them up into an external hard drive we had(which we forgot the cord to and he was able to supply one of his own which was awesome!) as well as completely reset and fix the computer and the internet adapter issue we were originally having. Niel is a nice man and worked with us and our tight budget, i dont think theres anywhere else you will find such great service at a great price. I will definitely be going back to Niel for any and all future computer problem I may have.Seriously, if you need any computer work done and live in the Bay Area, give Niel a call and set up an appointment, you will not be disappointed in the least!

Neil helped me to buy a new OEM battery and installed the new battery. The old battery was bloated inside and the computer was not closing. He did an excellent job with the installment and also cleaned the insides, such as the fans.

My Mac had issues and was fixed at Apple Repair Center As soon as I got it, I tried to migrate data from an external hardware drive, then the nightmare happened - it got broke. I reached out Apple store but they just say it’s not their responsibility, so I looked for a local data recovery service vendor and found Bay Area Computer Repairs. Neil is very responsive saying he could take care of my case immediately. The problem of the hardware was more complicated than I thought, but he worked very hard and thankfully he recovered the hardware drive on the following day! If your computer needs repair, I highly recommend this service! My son broke his computer on a Sunday. Although technically closed on the weekend, Neil kindly diagnosed the issue over email same day and squeezed us in on Monday to check it out (despite a busy schedule). He helped me find the right replacement parts to order on Amazon from a trusted vendor. Once the parts came in, Neil again was able to fit us in quickly to complete the repair. He can come to your home, which we found super convenient. His service is exceptional and we found him to be quite affordable as well. Without a doubt, we will use Neil for all our future computer needs.
