I never give reviews on anything BUT I have to say how awesome my experience with Batteries Plus was today.Ive had a little box of things that I needed to be serviced. 2 tide watches, a key FOB, and some misc. electronics that needed batteries. I wholly expected to wait a day or two but it couldnve been more than 10 minutes before my items were completed.The customer service was fantastic! A well mannered and professional employee explained the pricing and showed me to the batteries that I could install myself.I absolutely plan to visit the store again for future needs and I encourage anyone else to do the same.

I took my iPhone in for a new battery. After, there was a red notification on my Settings app on the Home Screen. The Notification was that the battery was not a genuine Apple approved battery. Went back and the ‘technician’ shrugged her shoulders and said ‘yeah, I’ve heard that happens’. I was shocked - the whole reason you go to a Batteries + Bulbs is that you are paying retail pricing for the correct item that works correctly; right? I told her it’s like you take your car to the mechanic and afterwards there is a constant red ‘check engine’ light illuminated - she looked at me like a deer in the headlights and I told her I wanted my old battery back into the device. Seriously… they should be required by their Corporate Management to disclose to customers ahead of time if they are going to be using anything other than a true and fully working replacement component.. Is it me?? Wow.

This was my second visit to the Batteries Plus location in Scotts Valley to replace a car battery. Both of my experiences with them have been excellent! I had a very tight time-window to get the new battery installed, and was able to hop on-line late last night and not only select and purchase the battery I needed, I was able to see the times they had available this morning to install it for me. I scheduled for a 10:30AM install. When I showed up this morning, they hopped right on it, confirmed all of my information and came out to my truck did the install. The technician wasnt happy with the way the electrode bolts were tightening, so he replaced them as part of the install process. Overall, great experience! I will go back there for my next battery need.

Been going here on and off for over 15 years on my way to My Place in Mount Hermon. II I purchased a couple of batteries for my Honda generator over the years. Theres just something about the service here they always seem a little bit surly. In my opinion this is the worst store in Scotts Valley I will never go there again due to the service that I got today. I wanted to return a package of never used two pack of batteries, I asked the clerk if he could handle This he said no it would have to be done by the manager She was standing right there when I walked up and the soon as I started this transaction with the clerk she walked away. I asked this him if he could get her to come and talk to me, he informed me that she had just left for lunch. Will be back. I said OKAY fine Ill come back in So I could talk to her. When I returned, I asked to see the manager he informed me that she was working on repairing a phone in the back and it would be more than an hour before she could talk to me. I was on my way home to Sunnyvale after making a special effort to return when she was available only to be told to wait some more. She never did come out from the back the clerk didnt ask her to come out of the back. This confirmed my past experiences that service here is lousy I will never go back to the store, and I would recommend that nobody else does. AvoidThis this store at all costs!

I have replaced batteries in both of my cars here and in a laptop computer. Service is always friendly and quick. They even attach a power source to your car while they change the battery so that the presets aren’t lost. I highly recommend this store.

I am not sure what is wrong with the people who work here -- either indifference or a severe case of phone phobia, or perhaps both.When I ordered the replacement phone part from this place over a month ago, I was told it would arrive in one week. Yet here we are, one month and 3,576 failed attempts at communication later, and there is no phone part or information about its status forthcoming.Perhaps the employees arent actually as indifferent as they seem but instead are really just too overworked and understaffed to perform the most rudimentary tasks of running a business -- like answering a ringing telephone ever (or, failing that, returning a voice message). Even a text message or email acknowledging that there are living breathing humans working here and that this place is still functioning would be cool.Also would have been cool if this place had been forthcoming from the start about its (in)ability to obtain the parts and its actual (dis)interest in doing business. Then instead of writing this review about being invisible to the staff here, I would have been able to get the part and the the phone fixed by a different place that actually wants to do business.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and well organized store. I liked that even though the store itself and the selection of items is fairly small, they all appear to be very high quality. The car battery I bought was not cheap, however it is also literally the best AGM battery you can buy anywhere and additionally there was a 15% off coupon. They offered to carry the battery out for me, as well as helpfully explained the 5 year warranty on the unit. Overall, would definitely recommend for folks needing standard or speciality batteries, as well as battery maintainers/ chargers, different size wire leads for accessories, and LED bulbs as well.

My battery was giving me issues and they didnt have the battery I needed but Nicole helped me find what I needed in a quick and friendly manner. Really appreciate your efforts, thank you! My jeep thanks you also. Highly recommend!
