The staff at Batteries + are knowledgeable and friendly. I bought a 12V battery my Camry Hybrid, which required a specialized battery that Toyota only used for one or two model years of the Camry, and which was not available at any of the 5 auto parts stores i visited. And i also bought a 12V battery for my Highlander. Both batteries were installed quickly and properly, and carry 4 year and 3 year replacement warranties respectively.

Worst service, no respect of customer and apologetic for not canceling my battery installation appointment as soon as we was aware there was no battery in stock. Apparently Carson, the person working at the time couldn’t understand that calling and “leaving a message that goes straight to voicemail” is not contacting the customer. A text message is not the same as actually contacting the person to “confirm” receipt or even emailing to canceling the order. As everyone knows Los Angeles - cellular service is not bad more so on the road in the hills and messages can pop up hours or days later - I asked him did you try to reach me again or cancel the order as the cancellation email would have done the job. B “ I didn’t want to cancel the order until I get confirmation of what I wanted to do. Really? Wait for me to show up to tell me sorry no battery but I called you. This was not coming from a teenager. Will never again visit this store although I had excellent experience in other locations where I have been a customer for over 5 years. But this is a typical problem of franchised businesses where is a hit or miss it depending owners and employees working at locations who cares less and was completely un apologetic of not making an effort to help the customer avoid driving for about an hour to the specific store as there are not many close by and many seemed to have closed…I guess I wonder why?

I realized my key fob had quit working to unlock my car doors so I called Batteries Plus and talked with Jeff who said they had the replacement fob that I needed in stock. He went on to explain the process of duplicating and programming a new fob, made me an appointment within the hour and after 30 minutes of my arriving, they had my new fob cut and programmed and I was out the door and on my way. While I have no other companies to compare them with, I do know they charged about one third the price of any local auto dealers in the area and in addition to this, they applied a substantial discount that was posted online that I wasnt even aware of. Kurtis, the tech that actually did the programming, was extremely knowledgeable and shared with me everything he was doing while I stood by and watched.If anyone needs a replacement key fob for any reason, save yourself some time and money and call Batteries Plus. My Cadillac XT4s battery replacement was overly complicated to say the least and Justin at Batteries Plus in Thousand Oaks, went above and beyond to install my new Duracell battery like a true pro, having to remove and reinstall several components just to be able to remove the original battery that was failing. Some of the BEST customer service I’ve ever had. My husband has been in desperate need of a new key fob but we didn’t want to shell out over $200 at the dealership for one. We just happened to walk in to this shop and notice they fix and program key fobs. Less than half the price of the dealership! Everyone was so nice and got us a new fob in around 20 minutes. Will be coming back for random battery and electronic needs in the future!

I bought a used mobility scooter online knowing I would have to replace the batteries - What I didnt know is that the batteries were soldered to the battery box and not easily changeable. I tried to get help at the Winnetka store, but they referred me to the Thousand Oaks store. At first I was annoyed Id have to drive further, but the service at the Thousand Oaks store was incredible (like all the other reviews say). He fixed the shoddy solder job and got it in shape to easily change batteries in the future - I only had to buy the new batteries, no other service fees. Im heading into surgery soon where bills are already coming in - this was a super nice and much appreciated surprise when it seems like everyone is nickel and diming each other these days. Ill definitely make the extended trip back to Thousand Oaks for all my battery needs going forward.

I ordered online and was offered a 10% Discount. I ordered Two Mercedes Batteries for my e350 and pulled up & Picked up and I was off to install. Easy and quick.I was also provided with a Battery rebate that was electronically refunded to my Pay-Pal account. I did have to return two old batteries for a Core refund. I used to buy AAA because I have the service but AAA Could not compete on final cost for the two batteries. However AAA cost was installed to be fair.Highly recommend 👌

Needed a battery for my Acura. Turns out, the required battery isnt readily available at any auto parts stores. Costco could special order it, but it would take a couple weeks to arrive. I needed the battery immediately, and Batteries+Bulbs was the only place that had it in stock. Very expensive compared to the same size and type (AGM) battery from Costco. But, at the very least, Batteries+Bulbs had it in stock -- and it has a longer warranty vs the Costco battery. All in all, pretty satisfied. Would have rated 5 stars if the price was closer to Costcos.

Finding the battery I needed online and seeing that it was available at a store not far away was good. Getting 10 percent off buying the battery online was great. Going to the store not-so-good. The employees really need to be trained to operate their system. I even called before I went to the store yet they had to go find the battery. I brought in a core exchange and told two employees it was there. Everyone forgot but me. What should have taken 10 minutes took well over 40 because of their incompetence. Went in recently to get my dead battery replaced with one of the new Duracell batteries and was blown away with the customer service. The gentleman that helped me came out to my car in the parking lot, since I had let my battery die completely (idiot, I know) and installed the battery right there in the parking lot; however, the bolt on the batteries positive lead didn’t want to tighten down all the way so, once we got it secured enough to start it, he had me drive around the back of the shop and after many attempts to remove it, ended up just cutting the bolt off and suppling me with a new one free of charge. This all took roughly 45 minutes and all while they had other customer to help. These guys offer solid customer service and real care and pride in what they do, I’ll definitely be back!

My phone battery was on its last legs. I bought the battery here a few years ago when it came with a lifetime warranty. When I called them about getting a replacement, they informed me that the phone company changed their warranty to one year only. Luckily, the last time I replaced my battery was 11 months earlier. So I drove an hour to the store to swap out my battery for free, and the employees were super helpful and fast and stuff. I dont know how applicable or interesting this story is to the person reading this, but I figured why not share. Also they have batteries plus bulbs, like advertised.

Smashed my Note 20 into a million pieces (dont ask). Probably one of the most high tech and complicated screens on the market today. Picking up the battery fine but when I went into the store I requested prices on 4 6 volt deep cycle and a starting battery for my RVThe after I completed the transaction for the battery I bought online, two other customers came in for replacement batteries for car fobs. Rather than help me with a possible $750 purchase the associate decided to help the two other customers with their key fob batteries. I made my request for the prices on the other batteries BEFORE the other customers came in the store and I walked out in frustration, COSTCO is my next stop for the batteries.

Ive bought watch batteries and specialty batteries for my exercise heart monitor and I am usually in and out of the store in less than 4 minutes. Bought $50 worth of batteries...put a $5 in one of the items we had with us but it didnt work. So I said to take it back out and check it while we were there....The person behind the counter said they cant resell it and we could not return it. Would not even check to see if it was good. Worse he was overly rude about it. We returned everything else we had bought due to the rudeness and lack of seller to back his product. To bad really....we checked the battery when we got home turned out the battery was good just needed reseated. Lost a $50 and potentially good customers for a $5 battery....I do not recommend this store.

The people are very pleasant, ensured I understood what what happening and that they were going to run some basic tests on the phone before they could tell me that the issue was only the screen shattered and that everything else was fine. Do not take your watch to them for a battery replacement! Especially if it is a very nice watch. They scratched the back up trying to get the plate off to access the battery and bent the pin that the watch band loops around. Then after the guy was done, he said, Here you go, good as new!Uh...definitely not good as new. The watch repair service is very inexperienced. Even another guy came in while I was there and needed a battery replacement on a watch and they couldnt get the back plate off his either!They should not even have a watch battery replacement service there. They dont have the proper tools, knowledge or the right people to do it. I hate to leave anyone a bad review...but this watch I had to get fixed was an ebay item that was already sold and now I have to ship it with scratches and a bent pin.

For the most part, my purchase at Batteries Plus was fine. I did receive an erronius e-mail saying my 3 group 31 AGMs were ready for pick up at the store, but when I went there with my 3 old 31s to pick up, they were not there. I did drop off my core charge batteries, so not a total loss. I dont live far from the store, so no big deal, just an extra trip to the store. I will buy from Batteries Plus in the future.

Theyll assist you with the selection of the proper item for your application, help with filling out any rebate paperwork, and they are just a helpful after the sale with warranty issues if they arise. Our family has gone to this store for many items: iPhone battery replacement, to purchase unusual batteries that I use in scientific equipment in my electro-optics lab at work, to buy LED flashlights, and to replace $3,000 worth of deep cycle marine AGM batteries in our boat. Recently I had the battery in my iPad2 replaced. The battery was replaced much quicker than I had expected and for me the price that I paid was very reasonable.When I picked up the iPad and checked the wear level there was no doubt that my iPad had a new battery.I was hesitant in having anybody work on this ipad because it contains some games that are very enjoyable to play but are no longer available to get on a newer iPad. I was very impressed to see that all of my games and other apps were still on the unit and everything worked perfectly.The technicians are very friendly and helpful and they seem to really enjoy helping customers.I wish that I could give more than 5 stars.

I brought in a Samsung Galaxy S5 thats been unoperative for 3 years, bloated battery separated the screen from the chassis and cracked the screen, and then shampoo that had soaked the phone and cord when it was plugged in after Id purchased a new battery.I needed the phone fixed because I need the call logs and text messages from the internal memory for a legal case.I was told by darker haired gentleman at the counter at this Batteries and Bulbs location that nothing could be done for this Galaxy S5 phone, the guy at the counter never picked up or touched the phone, he came to that conclusion without examining it.When I got home, I then watched a few YouTube videos and diagnosed that the power cord was no longer working and the connector for the screen wasnt plugged all the way into the port in the chassis. I made these two simple changes and then the phone worked perfectly ! Hooray ! I know zero about smart phones, nothing.So in my experience, this shop does not do free diagnosis and does not look at moister damaged phones, or phones with the screen removed from damage.Make of my experience what you will. If I had considered this shop an expert and given up like they did without even trying, Id be missing over 2 years of valuable information for my legal case. A legal case with 5 years of evidence, would be missing 2 years of phone evidence (100s of text messages and call logs) from this old S5 phone from 2016 and 2017Always try, always get a second opinion, never give up. The other lesson I learned when this Galaxy S5 died 3 years ago, always backup your data to a reliable cloud account. Dont rely only on a Mico SD card and/or internal memory, for your data.
