Excellent experience all around! While searching from my home in Nashville, TN, I found a Class A at Base Camp that was the exact model I wanted at a great price. Skylar and his team were incredibly responsive - answered my questions over the phone, sent additional pictures, etc. I flew from Nashville to look at the rig and it was as described - he and his team did a thorough pre-sale inspection and arranged for the repair of anything that didnt work properly. Also, because they had prepared all of the paperwork prior to my arrival, I was able to knock that out and quickly start the 2,300 mile drive back to Nashville. The rig performed perfectly - no issues at all on the drive home. I appreciated Skylars honest and customer-friendly approach to the sale which were underscored by him working to correct issues as they were identified and being easy to work with before and after the sale (follow-ups on title, paperwork, etc.). Great experience and would purchase from Base Camp again.

I was having dismal luck listing our travel trailer on RVTrader. I got a few nibbles over six months but little more. Sean @ Basecamp emailed inquiring if he could try a consignment sale at Basecamp. My wife and I researched Basecamp and then delivered the travel trailer to the dealership. Sean and Skylar closed on the sale in two weeks! It’s really no surprise that Skylar has such great reviews. His customer service skills are through the roof, and he’s genuinely just an all around NICE guy.We were passing his dealership well after the posted closing hours, but thought we’d just try and see if by chance they were open late. We found ourselves in a bit of an emergency situation and needed a trailer asap.Skylar answered the phone and let us know that yes, they were closed, but he was working late and we were welcome to come by and take a look at the trailers.When we arrived he was welcoming and kind and didn’t make us feel like we were being a pain at all.We found the PERFECT trailer and he let us know that if we ran the credit check that night, we would most likely be approved the next morning and could pick it up and take it home as soon as we were approved.The next morning we got the call from him that we were approved! He made time for us to do a walk through that morning and explained everything so thoroughly and knowledgeable that we didn’t have a single question once he was done.This was one of the best experiences making a larger purchase that we’ve ever had. We bought our Class-C RV from Basecamp about 4 months ago and since have been wanting to write a meaningful and thorough review but havent had time. So here it goes...first, the buying experience with Skylar was probably one of the easiest and honest transactions we have ever experienced. The price on our RV was extremely reasonable when compared to other dealerships. Skylar went through all the paperwork very thoroughly and gave us a little history on the RV in order to provide us with enough information that assisted us in making a sound decision to purchase, as the RV was used. Skylar ensured that when we left with our newly purchased RV, it had new coach batteries, had it cleaned inside/out, and even had installed all new vent covers at no charge. Dan in Service walked us through the RV and ensured we became familiar with operating all the features when traveling...Dan was awesome! I have to say the great customer service didnt just stop at the time of purchase, it continued far after. As I fast forward to about a week ago, I went out to prepare our RV for a trip to the coast and discovered the power to the coach was completely dead. I did the normal thing and charged the batteries since it was sitting a bit. After leaving them on the charger overnight, they didnt seem to be charging. Although it was a few months after the purchase, I decided to message Skylar and ask about who to contact about a possible warranty exchange for the batteries, thinking I would have to pay a little pro-rated amount. Instead, to my surprise, Skylars response was for me to just bring them in, and he would exchange them with new ones at no cost. Wow! I wasnt expecting that, and I was immediately reminded of that great feeling we had when we bought our RV from Skylar at Basecamp RV. The next morning (the morning we were to leave), I returned the batteries and Dan exchanged both of them with no issue. Dan even took his time and went through some troubleshooting ideas with me on what would be the possible cause of the battery issue. Prior to leaving, Dan provided me his personal cell number and said call him if I were to have any issues. The level of customer service continued to surprise me as I have made big purchases in the past but havent received great customer service after the purchase as I did with Basecamp RV.So, if you are hesitant on going with a smaller dealership, dont be. Fantastic experience here, and Skylar was super helpful and none of the typical pushy sales guy stuff... he keeps a nice inventory of different campers here and happen to have one with the Floorplan I have been l for, at a price I couldnt find lower anywhere on any search engine. I brought in my travel trailer for Basecamp RV to sell and they didnt disappoint in service. Sean Millard contacted myself when I was trying to sell it on my own. Those who have tried, know it isnt easy. Sean, clearly explained the process, had all the necessary paperwork ready and made it a simple process. The only thing I had to do was provide the trailer. While I was not part of the selling process, Garrett (one of the salesman), did an excellent job in getting the trailer advertised and helped in making the sale in very quick fashion. I rarely post reviews but feel the need to share with prospective consignment RV sellers the incredibly positive experience I had with Basecamp RV Sales - specifically with Sean Millard and Skylar (not sure his last name).We shopped our RV around to a number of local RV dealers. Sean and Basecamp RV Sales was able to offer us more money than anywhere else. Sean was incredibly patient with us throughout the process, both while we were deciding if we wanted to sell our RV through them and after we made the decision to move forward. He kept us updated throughout the entire process, was very responsive, made it easy for us to fill out the necessary forms online, and even went and picked up our RV from where it was being serviced in the area, saving us multiple hours of driving.Once they found a buyer for our RV, Skyler worked with us on getting all the financials worked out with regard to our existing loan. Sean Mallard offered me almost what my asking price was on RV Trader. The motorhome needed a small but costly repair, he took it to the repair dealer for me. Parts were ordered and after 2 months, the repair was done due to lack of parts in the RV industry was the reason for the delay. We bought a Motorhome from Basecamp in May 2023. As we were there to pick up our Motorhome there was a mechanic working on our newly purchased motorhome that was used. The owner Skylar, stated they felt a slight miss in the engine and call their mechanic out to put in a new Coil and spark plugs, in the engine. Once the mechanic was done we drove off with the motorhome without testing it. (We were not thinking about testing and doing more research on the motorhome) We took it home and about a week late we took it to our destination in Truckee. We had to have it towed 1 mile from our destination. the mechanic that tow us stated it was only running on 6 cylinders instead of 8. That Monday we called Skyler the owner of the business Seeking information on what possible could be the problem. Guess What? no answer, or Call back. So we drove over and talked to his handyman (Skyler wasnt there), His Handyman stated he would let Skyler know what was going on and he would have Skyler call us. NO RESPONSE from Skyler at all. No callback or Communication at all. he just ghost us. So just be aware of what you are purchasing. I dont make a habit of doing bad reviews. Exceptional Customer Service! The Team at Basecamp was friendly and knowledgeable. We originally stopped at Basecamp to look an a Class A they had on their lot. Salesman Bud greeted us and showed us around, NO PRESSURE! Basecamp RV is one of the best RV dealers around. The prices on their units cannot be beat and they are upfront with all the costs. The customer service they provide is amazing. Neil and Skylar were always available with any questions I had and were always there when I needed to get a hold of them. My wife and I brought our two small children in and they treated us all like family. Neil even set up the TV in the RV to have it show cartons to keep my kids entertained while my wife and I checked out every inch of the unit and asked all of our questions. I used my own outside financing to purchase the unit and they were extremely flexible with them and all the additional paperwork and requirements my bank had. I also traded in my RV with the purchase and was given top dollar. I have purchased a few RVs before and this was by far the easiest and most enjoyable experience I have had. I have told all my friends who are interested in a RV to check them out and will for sure look to them if I ever need a new RV in the future.

READ this experience! Met Sean via email, sent a few videos and he was on a plane to Orange County with a cashiers check. I picked him up at 2pm, we did a walk-thru of the RV, headed to the bank and Sean was on the road home by 3:30pm. It was scary not knowing anything about this company but in minutes Sean and I were like old friends. I am the original owner and very attached to my RV, it was hard to see it go but I trust it will be well taken care of by Basecamp.

Base Camp RV deserves 5 stars and more.After the untimely and unforeseen death of my husband at 65, I was a new widow trying to sell my RV as an owner. I felt uncomfortable with online ads, but had no choice. In the barn, my RV had zero visibility. The RV was a 2018 Winnebago Intent in pristine condition, but, no one could see it. And, few could afford it. They weren’t calling me.Sean William contacted me and I decided, after months with zero calls, that I would enter a fair and easy to understand contract with Base Camp RV in Rocklin, Ca.Skylar Nobel and Sean William FLEW into Fernley, Nevada to Tiger Field to pick up the RV, which was a huge relief, as I had never learned to drive it. The excitement of picking them up at the airstrip helped to ease the immense sadness in parting with something that held, over the past 2 years, 30,000 miles of adventures for my husband and I. These two braved a tiny, poorly marked gravely runway, birds, and wild mustangs on and near the runway to help me.These two men were amazing. They explained everything, checked the rig, got needed paperwork, and were on their way in less than an hour. Sean drove the rig over Donner Pass back to Rocklin, with the promise that they would return it if it didn’t sell. They were friendly and quite truthfully, just plain adorable.Everything they promised was done perfectly. The rig was sold quickly, and the check was in my mailbox, along with my license plates, needed in Nevada for registration refunds.Communication was excellent during the contractual period. All promises were fulfilled.My rig left to head East for Florida, which strangely was the next trip we had planned to take.Skylar and Sean understood this was not just a rig, but something very special to me.
