I was always afraid of going to the dentist. Not anymore. Everyone there is great and makes you feel comfortable. Have had a few procedures done and Dr. Barsoum always calls patients personally the day after to make sure you are doing ok and to answer any questions you might have. If you are worried about going to the dentist, dont be, this is the place to go, no matter how long it has been.

This is undoubtedly the best dental care I have ever received.Dr. Wissa, the dentist at this clinic, is a true professional with a warm demeanor. She took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions, never making me feel rushed. Update: I had my first major work done. Everyone in the office is sweet. My biggest issue is having to come back several times. I had one tooth that needed root canal and crown and I had to come back four separate times to finish the work.love this place. For the first time in my life I found a dentist that I feel I can trust and who seems to really care and not just about money. I love everything about this office, the only complaint I have is that the initial consultation should include a cleaning as well especially for patients who travel from far distances to come to the office. I have never had a consultation one day and have to come back another day for a cleaning. That would be my only recommendation for change. I am thankful that someone canceled their appointment that day so I was able to be fit in for my cleaning on the same day.

My husband absolutely loves this dental office and now I understand why! Dr. Barsoum and his staff are very caring and are always concerned about your comfort level throughout the whole process. I even got a personal phone call by the dentist himself later that night checking to make sure everything was OK and to see if I had any questions. They were also very respectful of my time as I needed to return to work, so I am overall very appreciative of the doctor and staff for making my first visit such a great experience!

Everyone is great, from the office staff out front to the hygienists in the back. You will never meet a more empathetic dentist in your life. Dr. Barsaum is amazing. I’m not someone who is afraid of going to the dentist, but if I was, this would be the office I would want to come to. This was by far the most pleasant experience Ive had going to the dentist.I didnt feel pressured to get a ton of work done that I didnt need. The whole staff was very friendly, the office was clean, modern, and very nice looking. The dentist was so polite and pleasant. He was very gentle and wanted to make sure that I was comfortable and even called me before I went in to greet me because I was a new patient and also called after my appointment to follow up to ensure I was still comfortable. From the moment I entered the office I was super impressed! Absolutely everyone I came in contact with was beyond polite and courteous! After completing my heath history paperwork, the Dentist actually sat down and went over it with me to truly understand ME. The facility is beautiful, comfortable, high tech, and definitely patient focused. My cleaning was painless, and the sensitive area was numbed with a topical anesthetic! I was so nervous about switching Dentists after 20 years…. I honestly wish I had switched to Dr. Barsoum MANY years ago!

I can honestly say its one of the best dentist Ive ever had, I have some extensive work done by doctor Marcos . He is excellent and very compassionate. Doctor Barsoum and doctor Wissa are very experienced and makes you feel so comfortable . They are not your typical dentist office, they truly care about their patients and you will feel that from the moment you walk into their office. They always call after a procedure and follow up with you to see how are you feeling. I am a new patient and I have never had a dentist call me the day I scheduled an appointment to make sure I was not experiencing pain prior to my appointment the following week. He is very conscientious. The office has pre-appointment safety protocols in place that include: calling the front desk before you enter, temperature screening, and hand washing before you sit down. The facility is very modern with new technology. Every employee that I encountered takes pride in their jobs and deliver a high level of customer service. I had met with the dentist to review my history and concerns prior to them taking me back to the exam room. They were even able to work me in to see the hygienist the same day. They follow up making sure you understand your treatment plan and are very good at responding to phone calls and emails. I highly recommend this office.

Great experience.I had the same dentist for 26 years, and when I moved I had to find someone to fill that spot. I tried a local dentist (Fontana), and suddenly my once wonderful teeth needed every cosmetic dental procedure out there. Deciding to seek a second opinion we found Dr. Maher Barsoum online, read the reviews and instantly made appointments.Spot on!! I received an unexpected call from Dr. Barsoum a couple days before my appointment to see if I was in dental pain or comfortable before my appointment. How considerate! Beautiful office to walk into with a warm and welcoming staff. You could tell from the first minute of talking with Dr. Barsoum that your dental health and history is of the utmost importance to him. Great consult, great cleaning. Got to watch a movie while they cleaned my teeth. Everyone at the office is very polite and considerate; it felt like they made an extra effort to be sure I was comfortable at all times. Dr. Barsoum sits down with each patient to discuss health history and any dental concerns before the appointment and then he calls in the evening to check back in. I felt very comfortable at Dr. Barsoums office, which is great because we all know that visiting the dentist is not always a comfortable experience. His staff is very kind and professional, the office is clean and bright, and Dr. Barsoum himself is amazing. He goes out of his way to make sure youre not in pain. Ever since I was a kid, I have always had terrible experiences with dentists. From excessive drilling to one that numbed all of the wrong places during an emergency extraction, my dental history had never been pleasant, until I became a patient at Barsoum Dental. Dr. Benyamin is very kind and caring, always conscious of patient comfort and she even follows up with texts and phone calls to check on progress and condition after procedures.Often, front desk staff can sour the experience when you find a good doctor, but not at Barsoum. I’ve been considering switching to a new dentist for YEARS. After switching to Dr. Barsoum I can’t help but wish I would have done it sooner. They have set the bar for dentistry and patient care in this area higher than I’ve ever experienced. Friendly and educated staff, movie menus for your 2 private screens, warm wet towels after services are provided, personal calls to follow up and check on you same day, to name a few but most importantly- a dentist that truly ensures you feel that he cares about you and a top notch quality care experience. I am writing this review over lunch, and right after my experience with Dr. Barsoum and his staff where I received several fillings. I am one of those who has been putting off the dentist for many years. My previous experiences and fears has kept me away. If it were not for a whole in my tooth that became larger over several months, I would have continued putting it off. All I can say is that I am absolutely blown away with my consultation, cleaning and now experience with the filling. The office is absolutely amazing and caters to making your experience comfortable and even enjoyable. The procedure was absolutely painless - Im blown away! I love how attentive they are from the moment you step into the office! Once I was called in, they had me seated in the dentists chair and pick a movie from their collection to watch! My excitement doubled when they reclined my chair back only to discover a TV hooked up on the ceiling. My dental hygienist, Petra, was super friendly and made sure every centimeter of my teeth were cleaned thoroughly! Dr. Barsoum is a rare find - his main goal is the comfort of his patients and to provide quality dental work.My experience with his practice impressed me because of Dr. Barsoums open attitude where he explained his rational for his treatment plan, he analyzed my x rays with me and listened and integrated to my concerns and goals for dental care into the visit. I was having quite a bit of work done and they were great every step of the way. They were very concerned with how I was feeling. Everyone on the staff from the front desk to the Dentist were amazing. I do not like going to the dentist like a lot of people but I know that Im taken care of when I come here. I experienced yet another delightful visit to my Dentist, of all people! The staff are beyond professional, the office is beautiful and the mood is very relaxed. The personal attention I receive makes going to the dentist a pleasure. I have a mouth full of fillings and crowns from past indiscretions, receding gums and such, nothing to brag about. During my first visit with the office, I waited 40 minutes until I was taken back to a chair. I had to say something to the receptionist about how long they were taking. I only received x-rays and an examination by the doctor. The office told me I would not receive a cleaning because they were booked up for the rest of the year. It would have been nice if the office was upfront about that when I scheduled an appointment. Every time I visited a dentist, I always have received a cleaning after an examination.

Usually my visits are excellent. However, my last appointment, who cleaned my teeth was very rough. I got a cyst, the same day. They said its usually from trauma, but it wasnt caused by them... Seems strange. I had an appointment yesterday and, all we did was make more appointments.

Dr. Barsoum personally called me to welcome me and two different staffs even called to confirm my appointment. I never had a root canal / crown before but my brother did when we were kids and it seemed like an bad experience to be avoided at all costs.When Dr Barsoum and I chatted about it he put me at ease and assured me that his staff would make the experience comfortable. He wasn’t kidding. Start to finish I can say it was about the same as getting my teeth cleaned, I didn’t feel much at all. That was through four visits, two exploratory and two procedural.I would recommend Dr Barsoum to anyone looking for a true Dr/patient experience where what you are looking for is to be heard and treated humanely.

I started going to Dr. Barsoum after a recommendation from my sister. WOW! I could not have found a better dentist and office!Everyone is extremely friendly and professional. They are always willing to help you in terms of payment and insurance. I always feel very comfortable discussing my options and never pressured to go ahead with a procedure that is 1) unnecessary or 2) too expensive for me at the moment.The doctor and hygienists are also very kind. They constantly ask if you need anything or are in any pain. I have never felt to cared for and respected by a dentist. I also did not feel any discomfort while being worked on and they were thorough in explaining how to reduce any pain I might feel after the extraction I had done.Another big plus is I receive texts to remind me of my appointments in addition to emails. This is a great help because I nearly forgot about an appointment but got my reminder two hours before it was scheduled! Found Dr. Barsoums office through my employers website, great Yelp reviews, In-Network with my insurance and close to home. Made an appointment and was lucky to be seen on a Saturday with only 2 days notice due to a cancellation. The office staff seem very friendly and the facilities are clean and up to date with what seems like all the latest technologies. Met with the Dr and his assistant, had a preliminary discussion and proceeded with a cleaning and a filling after discussing my insurance benefits and out of pocket costs. Staff is attentive and caring and all I can say is so far so good and a very good first impression. Hoping it works out as I have been looking for a new in-network and capable dentist for a few years now.

Dr. Barsoum and his staff are wonderful. They are honest and caring. It is hard to say that I loved going to the dentist but this is how I feel about Dr. Barsoum. Other members of my family feel the same way. At my previous dentist I was continually told that my gums were doing poorly and that I needed 3-month visits rather than 6-months, and that I needed a costly antibiotic treatment every 6 months. Dr. Barsoum says I have excellent gums and teeth. Given that I take the time to take care of my teeth I think Dr. Barsoum is telling me the truth.

Experience was great overall! From beginning to end I was treated amazingly. I would highly recommend this place.The dentist was always asking if I was in any pain, to let him know if I was, but I never felt anything!! A part of my molar broke, had to get numbed and I didn’t even feel that injection. After the procedure, the dentist said he was going to call later in the evening to see how I was doing. Amazing, totally amazing!! I had not been to a dentist in roughly ten years. Personally, I was very concerned about the health of my teeth and gums. I take care of myself enough, but not knowing made me uneasy. I discovered Dr. Barsoums office through Yelp, and made an appointment. The receptionist, Angel, was very attentive and kind over the phone. Later that evening the doctor called me and gave me some recommendations on easing any stress or worry I may experience. Came the day of my appointment, and I was feeling good, because I knew that I had a caring doctor. Paper was easy and the decor and music of the office was lovely. They took me into the office and the doctor introduced himself (something that not many doctors do). They did my x-rays and even my nurse was a total sweetheart!To my surprise, I had zero cavities and very healthy teeth (minus my wisdom teeth, but I knew about that). The doctor double, triple checked some teeth he was concerned about and everything came back positive! Afterward I had my teeth cleaned, which was uncomfortable, but the doctor and my nurse did everything possible to make feel better. Many times the doctor would stop and ask me if I was doing well. Very kind and wonderful doctor, extremely professional! Hes also very funny!Highly recommended dentist. I can honestly say Im not scared of the dentist anymore. :)

I am always looking forward to going to see Dr. Barsoum. He is very caring and conscientious of his work. Even though other professionals assist him, he is always on top of what is going on. He is always very concerned about what is going on. And at the end of the day, HE calls you at home, around 6 or 7 pm, to see how you are doing, are you in pain, did you take care of yourself, are you following the instructions following the procedure? And he leaves his personal cell phone number if you need to contact him ! I sincerely enjoy going to his dental practice. He is great ! He has high definition television set up on the ceiling so you can enjoy a large selection of movies while they work on you ! This is like going to a spa. Best dentist experience Ive had! The waiting room was very clean and organized, with free coffee. I only waited about 2 minutes before being seen and the staff was incredibly friendly and generous. They really wanted to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied, which I was. This is my second time coming in to see Dr. Barsoum in the last 6 months, and just like the first time he was very kind and considerate. Every step of the way hed ask if I was comfortable or if there was anything else he can do to make me feel better. As for the rest of the staff, all the ladies are very nice as well, especially the assistant that helped with my procedure; I cant remember her name, but shes the Asian one with the short bob haircut. I will be going in next week to finish up my work, but I already know that Ill have a pleasant experience to look forward to so my nerves wont get so worked up like the last two times. Also, the place itself is very pretty and modern. Theres a coffee table laid out in the waiting room which is a nice touch, and a fountain in a style of a waterfall that runs from the ceiling to the floor thats amazing. Dr Barsoum and his staff are the best. I’ve been to this office for dental work a couple times in the past. I moved out of town and had to go to a different dentist and was not happy with them. I had a particular issue with a crown that was giving me trouble. I was in a lot of pain. The previous dentist told me there was nothing wrong with it. I was so happy to be able to go back to see Dr Barsoum. He not only decided there was something wrong but referred me to one of their specialists and devised a treatment plan. He is very conscientious of the costs and the work that needs to be done. He doesn’t try to convince you that you need a bunch of expensive work done. And you are told the costs up front. After my appointment he personally called me to see if I was doing ok and asked if I had any questions about the treatment plan. He gave me his cell number in case the pain become unbearable before I could see the endo. The next day he called me to ask if I could go to his other office in chino to have a quick consult with the gum and bone specialist. Dr Barsoum had been thinking about my case since I left his office the day before. It feels good to know a dentist cares. His chair side manner is amazing and his demeanor is very polite and professional. While he is working on your teeth he stops to check in with you to make sure you are comfortable. A great place to go if you have dental anxiety 😊

I have been to many dental locations but none like this. This Dentist and office is like none I have previously been to.From when you first enter the office it is open and welcoming, everyone there does anything and everything to make you feel relaxed and at easy which is extremely important. All of the staff are very friendly and are constantly asking if they can do anything to make you more comfortable. I have been coming to doctor Barsoums office for a little over a year and have had very good experiences every time. Whether Im there for a simple cleaning or to actually have work done, I always get seen by my doctor and get a phone call from her in the evening to see how Im doing. They also worked out an easy payment plan with me whenever my insurance didnt cover all of the work I needed. They send emails and texts, and also call as reminders of upcoming appointments, a big plus for a super busy person like me! And what can I say about the staff? My family and I are new to Dr. Barsoums office. We really enjoyed the visit as well as all of the staff! Almost everyone that works there was extremely friendly and accommodating. Updated review:So I still love dr. Barsoum and I think he is a great person and dentist. However, after going back to get more work done I found lots has changed and I was quite disappointed with the care I received.1) impacted wisdom tooth removal. Everything went fine, but I was already so nervous and was mentally prepared to have the procedure done and when it was go time I asked if the post-op pain medication was compatible with breastfeeding and the oral surgeon said no and asked if I wanted to cancel the appointment. My sister is a doctor so I quickly called to ask her and she said it was fine to take for breastfeeding mothers. When I had my second baby, the hospital staff actually offered me the same medication for postpartum pain. So that was off putting.2) root canal and crowns: I had the root canal done by a different doctor in the chino office in late 2018. I recently moved and had to find a different dentist. When I got there they questioned who was my prior dentist and was surprised the root canal was fairly recent. I found out that my root canal had failed and will need a scary gum procedure to fix it. I also found out that a crown that was placed on a different tooth was not correctly centered and since it’s offset it is likely food and bacteria can get in and will need to be redone. Since having that crown placed, I’ve had some sensitivity and it’s likely because the crown was not properly set.3) my first root canal and crown that dr. Saturday was my first time at this dental office and I must admit I was not one bit disappointed. The staff were friendly and courteous. The location is easy to find. There is enough parking near and around the building. After filling out the forms required, my son and I were seen immediately thereafter. He had a cleaning done which went well. I am blown away by the experience I had at Dr. Mahers dental office. I found them on yelp, which at the time I needed a dentist, he had 46 reviews all of which were 5 stars. The feedback was all true. The staff was very helpful and friendly and Dr. Maher was incredible. I have never been to a dentist or any business like this. They take the time to meet with you and listen to your needs and concerns and are always asking if you are comfortable or if there is anything else they can do to make you more comfortable.In my case I called in with some pain and even though I had never been to this office before they got me in the same day. This is the best office I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I came in as a new patient looking to get a cleaning and exam. The office is located in downtown Upland next to the Grove Theatre. While it is an older building, the inside is very nice and modern. This is THE BEST dental office in the I.E.! I found Dr. Barsoum on the Cigna Dental website and booking an appointment was super easy! The staff at this office are very nice and personable. I was REALLY impressed when Dr. Barsoum had even reached out to me prior to my appointment to find out if I had any concerns/anxieties before my appointment (like who does that?!). My daughter got her cleaning and she didnt want to leave! She felt comfortable and loved the girl who cleaned her teeth - especially when she got to choose her toys at the end of her visit. Since I am getting bugged by the office to provide feedback...Overall, the office and personnel are great. They are very welcoming and professional. My experience is that there is an inconsistency in treatments and evaluations. I have a couple of spots of gum recession, and it was there and mentioned in my prior visit, but the doctor did not think it was worthy of treating. Fast forward a year, the same recession was there of course with no visible signs of worsening, but this time the doctor was compelled to sign me up for a perio exam. Why this time?Another example was that I had special deep cleanings set up with two different hygienists for opposite quadrants. One used injections to numb, and the other used topical. The topical hygienists hinted that my cleaning was routine, and perhaps didnt need the level of cleaning that I was signed up for...and was charged significantly for. Again, why the inconsistencies?The last issue is their policy of separating the exam from the cleaning. As a working professional, I dont have time to make multiple appointments to get an exam and basic cleaning. This is the only office I have ever been to that makes this separation. This policy is very frustrating and should be considered for future change.

I needed some work and they kept me informed and let me know all of my options and any out of pocket expenses after my insurance. Called in to schedule an appointment for a broken Molar and they got me in the very next day. They proceeded to take some x-rays, and started on making me a new crown ASAP. They installed a painless temporary acrylic crown until my real crown is made. I go back in next week to get the newly made final crown installed. Dr. Barsoum was EXTREMELY polite and courteous. He made me feel very comfortable and set me up with a movie of my choice (picked from a menu They provide) and some headphones so I wouldn’t be bothered by the work they he did in my teeth. Great first visit with Dr. Barsoum. It has been a long time since my last dental visit, but I was not made to feel guilty for that. Before any X-Rays were taken, I sat down with the doctor and one of the hygienists and they asked if I had any concerns or goals for my dental health. The X-Ray process was quick and painless, and once youre in the chair, you get to pick out a movie to zone out to. I was recommended a mouth guard for my teeth clenching and the process was very easy. Dr. Barsoum made sure the pieces fit well and were comfortable and even checked in later in the day. After the first night of sleeping with the guards in, I did notice some rough edges and the office was able to get me in on short notice in just a few days to adjust the piece. I had been looking for a new dental office for close to a year after my current dentist ended up closing their office. After searching high and low I found Dr. Barsoums office after seeing great reviews on Google+ and Yelp. After making my appointment I was actually called by Dr. Barsoum personally to welcome me to his office and to let me know that if I had any questions or was experiencing any discomfort prior to my appointment to call, and he provided his cell number to call him on. This was a very pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated.I showed up for my appointment and was greeted quickly with a smile and provided my paperwork to fill out. The office is very nicely decorated and even offers water, apple juice or coffee while you wait. I was called back and you sit down with Dr. Barsoum and one of his staff to go over your health history and if you have anything that is bothering you currently with your teeth or jaw.I then went back for my X-rays and in each patient area there is a big 32 TV to watch while you wait, with your own set of headphones. Then when you are laid back there is a TV mounted on the ceiling to allow you to keep watching your movie. There is a huge library of movies to choose from and would be hard not to find something you like.Dr. Barsoum and his staff are so nice and always making sure that you are comfortable and that you understand your treatment plan and all costs. And Dr. Barsoum is a magician with the numbing needle. I didnt feel a thing, and I had to get numbed in the very top front of my mouth, which is usually the worst area.I had a pretty deep cavity in my one front tooth which was pretty close to the nerve. I was expecting the worst of a root canal and crown but Dr. Barsoum was able to save the tooth after cleaning it out and only did the treatment that was necessary and didnt try to take advantage and up-sell me to other treatment that wasnt necessary, which I have experienced at other dental offices in the past. I got all my fillings done and was on my way after a couple hours. It really helped to have the movie to distract from the sound of the drill. After, I got checked out and paid my charges and was on my way home. Later in the evening I received a call from the doctor to make sure I was feeling okay and that I wasnt having any issues. This was my first visit to Dr. Barsoums office. I have never had such a thorough exam. My wife has raved about them, so I gave them a try. At my last visit at a previous dentist, I was told I had an old filling that was very large and needed to be replaced. Because it was so large, it couldnt actually be replaced, but a crown was needed instead. I was suspicious and my feelings were confirmed when Dr. Benyamein checked the tooth with various tests but could find nothing wrong at this point. I recently had a root canal, and despite my reservations about it, the experience was great. The endodontist was aware of visual cues and communicative when he sensed my pain or discomfort. Thanks to the knowledge and confidence of the endodontist, as well as the other staff who assisted, it went by quickly and smoothly. The week after the root canal I returned for a temporary crown. This procedure was a little scarier than the root canal, but the office is very comfortable and the movie screens help to ease my anxiety. Dr Barsoum is very good about checking in periodically to assure comfort, and the first part of the procedure went by fast. The dental assistant came into the room next and finished the procedure. This part seemed to take a little longer than expected, as there appeared to be a lot of bleeding, and I appreciated her patience and communication throughout the procedure. Overall, each visit to Dr Barsoums has been just great. Each of the staff Ive encountered seems to be very professional and experienced, and as a patient this is something I really appreciate.

After having a negative experience with my previous dentist (who claimed I needed a partial denture and wanted $7,000 for the whole thing) I put off going back to a dentist for 9 months. And he confirmed what I thought about my old dental group all along, theyre a bunch of overcharging quacks. All I need is a root canal and crown, which is totally affordable with their prices. Not only that, but theyre willing to work with me on payment since Im a full time college student.To sum up, this is the best dental office I have been to. His hygienist was patient and allowed him to become familiar with the electric brush and he was so excited to let her clean his teeth. They really took care of us because I also had my 4 month old son (babysitting fell through last minute 😔), and another hygienist held him while I got my x-rays done!! Was impressed with the over 100 reviews that were rated at 5 stars.What sold me was the fact that the dentist himself called to make sure the appointment went well and was concerning if he could help in any way and gave his personal cell phone number!He is incredibly personable, friendly, and cares about your health and well-being. The office is contemporary and beautiful. He has all of the up-to-date equipment. Big screen tv’s on the wall and a tv on the ceiling of each room with headphones!Had not had any work done on my teeth in years, so I was nervous about what would be going down, so I really appreciated that he could show me everything on the computer screen and explain in great detail what was going on and what I needed to do to fix my teeth.The dental assistant was fabulous, very friendly and informative!Looking forward to my follow-up appointment and future care with this dentist. Dr. Barsoums office is literally a breath of fresh air. I’ve been going here for years and I couldnt be happier with the staff and their service. Yesterday I had my cleaning and as always the receptionist greeted me with a warm welcome, updated my charts immediately and had me in the dentist chair right on time. Annette, the hygienist, is one of my favorites. She and I giggle about everything. She does the best job too. She’s thorough and gentle and fun. My teeth always feel and look so amazing after shes done. This visit, Dr. Barsoum even gave me a high five because he was so happy about my healthy gums and teeth. I always walk out of there with the biggest smile on my face. So in my opinion Dr. Barsoums office is hands down (and up high) the best dentist office around.

I have been going to Dr. Barsoum for approximately 2 years. In this time I have never found anything to complain about. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I really enjoy the fact that Dr. Barsoum has set up his practice as a one-stop shop approach. He has other dental subspecialties associated with his practice which makes having the dental specialist take care of you more in a more convenient manner. THis saves so much time not having to be referred to another location since everything is done in his office practice proper. WOW!! what a great experience at that Dental Office. I was visiting my Sons family in Upland and needed emergency dental care.My Son and Daughter in-law raved about Doctor Barsoums dental practice and the great people he has working there.I was given an appointment to go in just 2 hours after my Plea for care with my tooth problem.Once I got to the office I was treated like I was a lifelong patient.All of the staff were super friendly and efficient in their jobs.After a few hours (a root canal and crown fitting) my tooth problem was cured ho ray!! no more pain after 4 days of agony.I was contacted by the dentist later that night to see how I was getting along....NICE.. how nice to be thought of like that.You can not find a better place for all of your dental needs.

The front office staff already greet me by my name and Dr. Barsoum takes the time to visit with me and ask if there are concerns I may have. My hygienist, Jenn, is very compassionate and gentle. My review is long overdue but I just wanted to thank Dr. Barsoum and his incredibly talented and caring staff for making my visit wonderful. I have really terrible anxiety, especially after not having visited the dentist for years. Not only were they able to get a crown in, I also got 2 fillings, and a cleaning with no major problems (other than myself haha). Dr. Barsoum is a super good dentist ever!!!1. We sit in a private meeting room to discuss my problems and concerns on the first time visit2. Dr. Barsoum made follow up calls on me after each visit to make sure my experience was good and he gave me his cell number just to make sure that I can reach him immediately if I feel any discomfort after filing. I sent him a text message, he called me back in 5 minutes.3. The office staff and nurses are great too. They even care for many little things, such as giving me a lipstick to make sure my lips are not dry and feel discomfort, they help me to choose the movie I like to watch, they gave me a warm towl after filing, etc.4. I took my 11 month baby to the office and because my insurance doesnt cover her, Dr. Barsoum didnt charge me for her consultation. They are very patient to my baby. My husband and I - we didnt have to wait long to be accommodated considering we were late and that we still have to write the paperworks needed because we were new patients. Before anything else, Dr. Barsoum met with us in an office/lobby like with her assistant. He asked me about any concerns I may have. He made sure I was comfortable. I wanted to do a whitening or bleaching on my teeth but he said I should try the whitestrips that you can get at Costco first and see if they work. He doesnt recommend if its not necessary. Hes all about saving you money so I like that about him. Glad I found him :)

Like many others, I have anxiety about going to the dentist. I was totally at ease during the whole experience with Dr. Barsoum and his office. I was having tooth pain, so I asked some friends for dentist recommendations. I went and was told I didn’t need any work, and that my problem stemmed from clenching my teeth at night. I was amazed at Dr. Barsoum’s gentle nature and the way he always made sure I was comfortable. Kim got me prepped and I felt like I was chatting with a friend. From the moment I called the office to the moment I left, I was taken care of in the best possible way. In fact, I decided to have my oldest daughter go to this office… she’s getting a bit old for the pediatric dentist. I have complete peace of mind about sending her to this office. Its as if he has the same enthusiasm for the field as he did his first day of dental school --pretty admirable in my opinion.As a student, its been easy to avoid going to the dentist because I tend to move every 2-4 years. However, time finally caught up with me and a filling I was suppose to have redone 3.5 years ago broke (I know, I had it coming). Having done my research for dentist offices a while back, I finally submitted an appointment request online. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call at 7PM, a couple hours after submitting my inquiry, to schedule an appointment for that Saturday. The next evening, Dr. Barsoum was kind enough to personally give me a call to ask if I needed anything for the pain or if he could be of any assistance until my appointment in a couple days.Finally, the day I anticipated came. The office was reasonably busy, considering the level of quality care they provide. When I was called in, I was surprised to be seated in a consultation room to review any concerns or questions I had regarding the appointment with Dr. Barsoum and his assistant. Ive never had such a patient-centered, involved experience at a healthcare facility before. I admired the time the dentist took to address any minor concerns, and explain things that can cause bad breath (e.g. onions for up to 48 hours, stuffy nose, lactose in those that are intolerant). I was kindly offered water and lip balm (their chapstick does a great job, btw). I was very impressed with the level of communication, transparency, and empathy of Dr. Barsoum and his staff. They frequently checked to make sure I was doing alright (Im a bit of a pansy when it comes to pain and drilling).I was offered Advil prophylactically to help with the foreseen pain following dental work. Again, Dr. Barsoum did an excellent job communicating the severity of my cavity and explained the plan and alternatively a crown that will be needed in the future. His staff visited me to review and provide a copy of the breakdown of the bill and insurance coverage, along with a clear dental layout of which procedure is recommended for a particular tooth. Before leaving, he mentioned that he would give me a call in the evening to check-up on the filling and answer any questions I had. If this doesnt deserve 5 stars, Im not sure what does.A few random tidbits of things I liked about the office:- Movie options, theres even a TV for when youre in the laying-down position- Tissue paper everywhere, super appreciated, especially as someone who has allergies- Coffee, water, and apple juice in the waiting area- Free wifi- The lip balm, I mentioned earlier, but its pretty great- Communication, explanations, transparency, professionalism- Dr. Barsoum is very approachable and provides his personal cell to patients (not sure how common this is, I feel its definitely going beyond because doctors deserve personal time too)All in all, I highly recommend Dr. Barsoum. Just make sure to schedule an appointment earlier, rather than later because his services are definitely in demand!!

I went to Dr Barsoum to find a solution for my TMJ. The office is very warm and inviting. They had a consultation room, which is a nice change of pace. The patient rooms were extremely clean and modern. And the staff were all super friendly. I received a free consult and had a customer NTI made, which I have never seen anywhere else. Another major plus was that they are open on weekends, as I work a Mon-Fri 8am-5pm job. I have a regular dentist but i am considering switching now! Dr. Barsoum has treated my mother that had to have a major reconstructive work done. In my opinion, Dr Barsoum has very high level of expertise even in a really complicated case like ours. He does not recommend the treatments that are not necessary, always willing to work based on your particular needs. He gives options and never pressures you to choose one over another. It is completely up to the patient. In my opinion the quality of his work is exceptional, he is gentle kind and attentive. He also follows up with you the evening of your appointment to make sure you dont have any issues. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality level of the materials used. Very clean and friendly place. I went here based on the great reviews (Upland location). I have to be honest based on my personal experience. Most painful dental experience I have ever had on every visit. Teeth cleaning very aggressive and mouth was tender and sore for over a week. A month later went back for filling and hit a nerve during injection and wow that was intense. I read online its not uncommon, but it was my 1st experience and very unpleasant. Filler on side of tooth fell out in less than a month. My insurance notified me that Im covered for 4 cleanings per yr based on type 1 diabetes. Made appt and they called to let me know im too early and not covered and I had to explain. They told me they had to check with my insurance to make sure and when I called back because I hadnt heard from them was told that I was incorrect. I immediately called my insurance and was told I was covered. If I have to pay YOU for ME to do your job in addition have work done not up to par, Im out. I was planning on wisdom teeth removal but based on experience decided not to do with them. Hopefully my experience is not the norm and based on reviews it isnt but still felt it was important to share.

Im always a little uneasy about having anything done but my experience was TERRIFIC! I had a chipped tooth repaired and from the moment I arrived, I felt good about it. The staff is amazing from start to finish...from reception to checking out the girls couldnt be any friendlier! Dr Barsoum was very gentle and did not want me to experience any pain. I went in for a temporary tooth placement and ended up getting a permeant crown for a few dollars more. I felt I was in good hands. Everything was taken care of right on the spot like I wanted. Even the assistants are very kind and want to make sure you are very comfortable. I thought I was in good hands before with my former dentist that just retired and I was dreading finding a new dentist. I feel I am in better hands now and I am thankful I have found Dr Barsoum. This is, without a doubt, the best dental office I have ever been to. Dr. Barsoum and Dr. Benyamein are some of the kindest dentist Ive met and the staff is very polite and helpful. Both doctors personally calls each one of their clients after a visit to check in. Each room offer distractions from the work being done with two televisions and a large selection of movies to watch. The entire place is immaculate and the lobby has free coffee, wifi and a rather nice view of a wall fountain. One of the coolest things is after every cleaning visit, they send you home with a bag full of goodies including a new toothbrush, toothpaste and even a tongue cleaner (I didnt even know those were a thing until my first cleaning visit here). Dr. Barsoum is the best dentist I have ever been to. He is so nice and takes the time to explain everything. He asked me numerous times if I had any other issues that needed to be addressed and even helped me with finding solutions to my headache problems. He calls you after every appointment (I had to go in to see the specialists and have surgery, so I have been in and out of the office a lot!). I missed his call once and called him back around 8pm about a non emergency question and left him a message telling him not to worry about calling me back until the next day. He called me back right away, even though he was home with his family.
