Jake and his team at Barrena Real Estate Group helped us with the purchase of my familys home out of probate from the family estate. Jake was attentive, knowledgeable, and overall, helped me feel comfortable when I felt stressed out. If you are looking for a realtor that is easy to work with, knowledgeable, responsive and experienced, Jake is your guy. Seriously, the whole process was rather seamless. If you are looking for an honest, hard working, responsive, knowledgeable realtor look no further. We currently live out of state and needed someone dependable to handle the sale of our townhouse in Orange County and Jake Barrena was recommended.Jake visited the property, put it on the market and had an offer and backup offer within days. He is an awesome negotiator and closer. Jacob sold our South Orange County home in 1 day and we got top dollar which was above asking price. He has all the right contacts at the right time. My family and I were recently given 30 days to find a new residence, as our landlord informed us that he was going to need to sell the home that we had been renting for the past four years. So, as you can imagine I was panicked to find something that would be the perfect fit for my family and I without having to move my kids out of their current schools and away from their friends. Upon learning that we had such a short time frame in which to find a place, I IMMEDIATELY reached out to Jacob. He was responsive and quick to start finding the perfect place for my family. Not to mention that it was a holiday weekend too. But, that didnt stop Jacob from helping us start our search immediately. Within an hour I was already receiving available listings and the following day (SUNDAY) we were viewing properties. Jacob is so amazing as what he does and has such a gift. Not only did he find us the perfect place in just one week, but he was even able to negotiate the price of rent down for us to keep us within our budget. He even found us a place just across the street from our current place. Which means my kids get to stay in their same school and still be near their friends. I would say it was a win win situation for everyone. I couldnt be any more happy with the service that we received from Jacob and the high level of commitment he shows his clients each and every day. Words cannot describe how lucky we were to work with Jacob. I would highly recommend him to everyone.We unfortunately were given a notice to move out of our home do too the landlord selling. This was our first time using a real estate agent and we were guided the whole way through this crazy process with such care and professionalism.We are new to all this but he never made us feel like we were a burden. Jacob understood the importance of getting us our new rental home ASAP and followed up on ALL angles possible to ensure that we would be able to attain our new home. He kept us informed, educated us on the process, and continued to follow up with us. I cant thank him enough.I agree with everyone else who has given him five stars. He gives 110%. He is all about integrity and excellence. Extremely detailed and patient and on top of all this, he is such a kind person. I really cant imagine getting any better service than this.

Jacob Barrena is an excellent Realtor. His customer service is impeccable, always keeping you up to date in the process, is friendly, and very knowledgeable. As a first time home buyer, he was able to answer all my questions, ease my concerns and doubts and make the process super simple and fast. Here is how simple it was for me. Submitted an offer on Sunday, verbally accepted on Monday, signed papers and went into escrow on Tuesday, did the inspection on Saturday, left for Hawaii for two weeks, came back, signed papers and closed escrow. Never knew buying a home could be so simple, thank you Jake for walking me through every step of the way and helping me get the house of my dreams!

From the moment I found Jacob, I knew he was going to be a different type of realtor. Never have I met a more responsive realtor in my life - I seriously dont know if he sleeps! Whether it was night or day, weekend or weekday, Jacob was right there with a reply in minutes. When I called, if he was on the phone already, he would call right back, again in minutes.He really helped me throughout the process, and explained everything quite clearly. Jacob found us a property that was simply too good to be true; he found us a property for literally half of what the market rate was going for...I searched for listings before I contacted Jacob and could not find this one.Thank you again Jacob for all that you do...we certainly will be in touch and using you again, in addition to recommending you to all of our friends and family.

I have known Jacob personally for a little over 2 years now. Throughout that time I can say that he is very professional, respectful and engaging with his clients. Rather you are a client of his or a colleague he gives you his undivided attention and is always attentive to your needs. Let me also add that in the field of buying/selling real estate, integrity is crucial and unfortunately not everyone possesses that quality. You do not have to worry about integrity with Jacob, he has never once let me down when it comes to keeping his word and putting in maximum effort for his clients.Over the years I have made several last minute appointments with him, had he have had to postpone I would have totally understood. But he insisted that he gave me his word, therefore he showed up and delivered what he said he would. If you enter into any business transaction with him, trust me when I say he will absolutely keep his word. If he cant meet your needs he will personally tell you, but he will also do his best to point you in the right direction.In todays society, there is something to be said for intelligence and integrity. These are some of the reasons why I feel very comfortable whenever I call him and so should anybody else.

Jacob is amazing. I have to start with that. He took the time to go though what we needed and knows the people than can help us best. Theres never a thats it moment with him as he not only motivates you to keep going, he also knows how to stay on top of everything making the home hunting process much easier for the person thats looking like us. I love that hes willing and able to go above and beyond his call of duty and really hunt out the right way to do things and any info you could possibly want. His fact finding skills are on point! We were SO lucky to have Jake as our Real Estate Agent for our investment property in Irvine. Since we live in NYC, we trusted Jake whole heartedly to have our best interest at heart as he helped us find the right home for us.Back in February Jake took us to the many different neighborhoods in Irvine and got an idea of where we wanted to be and what type of home we wanted. Then we were able to send Jake homes that we were interested in on the MLS and he would go and see them for us.
