Always a fun place to go and explore the new things they have in store. Whether or not you are a book person, they also have a ton of really cool & unique gifts that you cant find anywhere else. Surprisingly their selection of childrens & baby toys is also great. Staff has always been nice and helpful

I go here all the time. I love the staff and they are always down to help you out. I get water from them sometimes and I even got half a glass of milk for free once. Dont press your luck though I do pay for a lot of things so thats probably why.

My daughter & I love B & N. Every so often, were able to go make a big purchase there. Like every couple years. Today was that day. It was wonderful & we found everything were looking for, then some. Only problem was that the cashier was rather snooty & not friendly, so I took a star off. Otherwise, it was a fun experience!

Awesome bookstore. I still love reading hardcover books. This store has a lot more than books. From toys, games, puzzles, art supplies, journals, last-minute gifts, magazines, and Starbucks coffee inside. Multiple comfortable seating to look at books. Designated childrens books & reading area. There is so much more as well. I could spend hours here.

Great place to read, purchase books, used to spend so much time here before work, staff were friendly. Only issue was the lack of staff when needing help, especially with those that have disabilities, and only one cashier is not a good way to have customers wait for a good amount of time. Other than that this place is great 👍 just needs more employees either on hand to help people or at the registers, thats it.

This review is solely intended for the cashier, James T, and his awful customer service. As I approached the counter he was very friendly until he saw the book I was purchasing. He said oh...cute.. and gave me a disgusted look. I did not respond since I was thrown back at his comment and facial expressions. Then he asked if I had an account (which I do) but I told him no for some reason. Then he proceeded with a Ha! Yeah I figured.So thank you, James. Thank you for single handedly making my experience at this location so terrible.

My kids like going to Barnes and Noble. We have membership. This one is close dining, shops and gym. However, the store has limited resources and books. But can order online and ship to store for free and pay when the order comes in.

One of the few remaining brick and mortar bookstores. Nicely laid out and organized. Large kids section in the rear of the store (smart!) with inviting areas to read, play, play-act on a raised stagewith a cute wooded background. I like the feel of a real book in hand but there are also e-readers and e-books, not to mention large magazine and music sections. Prices are pretty much full retail but they offer discounts if you buy a membership, or on new bestsellers;. They also have a discounted clearance section.

In the 4th we were looking for a place to go while we waited for fireworks. We ended up in Barnes & Noble on Vista Way. We used to haunt B&N in Texas, Virginia, DC, and this local store. Life happened and also I missed the comfy upholstered chairs they had in groupings around the store. We just stopped going. When we walked in it was like walking into the home of a good friend. I was greeted by a gentleman who was extremely knowledgeable. Obviously a great book lover. He helped me find just what I was looking for and suggested a couple of others. The store had introduced a few sparse chairs to sit while perusing a book. I cant stand long so that was huge for me. I still miss the tables with chairs, and the overstuffed chairs but have to so we spent an enjoyable couple of hours there, each leaving with a book. Well be back - but if you put those reading tables and upholstered chairs back, it will be a lot more frequently!

So many books on lots of topics. I browsed the cookbook section and discovered so many cookbooks I didnt know I wanted...especially on cooking foods of other cultures. I looked at baking books to and liked the variety of thick and thin illustrated books to choose from. I took pictures so I can remember what I liked and come back to buy. Restroom was very clean and pleasant to use, not stinky. I came just before Christmas week and line was long but went quickly.

My rating is purely based off their manga section, which is the only reason I go to this location. At the macro level, they are always keeping their manga neat and stocked (5 Stars). At the micro level, not doing a good job at restocking specific volumes in a series (3 Stars). This wont stop me from returning since I love actually browsing physical manga.

They were so nice, I just had it in my heart to go back and give them a second chance. Barnes and Noble Cafe?Host 2 to the rescue.Host 2: The cookies?Me: Yes, please!I mean, as a food service worker myself, it’s not hard to tell what’s improved. Host 2 was definitely on the ball, and the way she responded with respect to needs and service was phenomenal. The other host, however, was a little slow on the uptake. And in an ever-growing food service environment, you’ve got to be quick on your feet. Unless, of course, an understandable misinterpretation occurs.But I was at a B&N cafe, not Starbucks.3 stars. I’ll post the next update after the election.Update: honestly? The genuine interactions I’ve had with these people, over the months following the election, have allowed me to decide my final score with a clear head. I absolutely love reading and I wish I could afford books off their shelves at affordable to me costs. But I value this store and recommend it for those who can afford the books because they provide so much by way of quantity and quality. I loved it when they sold the Nook reading tablet. I stop by just to see what I can find. One of them was an adjustable holder for my cell phone which I treasure; everyone comments on it. I keep going back but havent found another one yet again. People always ask me about it and I tell them where I got it so maybe, by chance, theyll find it or while theyre there buy a book that they can afford😁

It’s our local Barnes and Noble so we go here for the Criterion Sales. But the movie section at this place is super uncomfortable. It has never been organized and nobody’s ever there. And today for some reason the manager stalked my husband and basically accused him of stealing and chased him out of the store. Which sucked because I had to dump my pile of books and now I’m still stuck watching Fisher King on freaking VHS! On top of that it felt like the other employees were watching me all of a sudden. So if you look like a minority. I’d not recommend this store.

Staff is wonderful. I waited in line for cashier, told her book I wanted, I stepped aside, someone brought it to register, I paid & left! Happy with my speedy purchase!! Customer service wasnt friendly, I visited at 1pm yesterday. I asked an employee if they worked here because I couldnt find the book I was looking for, they were on the way to the bathroom/break and just shrugged their shoulders, didnt even speak and walked away. The 2nd time, I saw the same guy talking to another guy at the Starbucks, both on their break and they were talking about how customers always ask them questions when theyre on their break. Finally the 3rd time, I saw the bathroom guy see me waiting in line, he then quickly walks away and disappears ! Like really? Couldve just said yes I work here but Im on my break and refuse to help you sorry

I loved Barnes & Noble before I went there, but I didnt realize how much they keep adding to it. They have toys and games and educational materials. Everything is really well lit and clean. Great selection of books more than we could even ingest on one visit. My children and I were greeted by a very nice employee as we entered. She gave us directions to what we were looking for. Two employees at the service desk were not very helpful when we went to check out. However, the same employee that greeted us checked us out. Looks like only some people at the store care about customer service. ( AND IT IS NOT MANAGEMENT). At least they hire good people.

The staff is friendly and help you to find what you are looking for. The staff at the coffee bar are great. I was able to purchase a book at the counter with my coffee for $5.00 with the cafe purchase I made. Looking forward to start the series. There so many groups that meet up here to study, reconnect and just wnjoy some peaceful time with friends. I would recommend coming to this location over others I have visited, for the ambiance and great customer service.

This is a beautifully well-kept Barnes and Noble that is a little low on space but high on knowledgeable staff and great gift items. The lady working in the childrens section really knows her stuff and will go out of her way to help you find what youre looking for. If she cant find it in store or its out of print, shell give you advice on how to find it.Lots of folks hang out in the cafe here, it is a very comfortable environment for studying or working.

However the place was extremely well air-conditioned in the hot summer days and the place was humongous with an amazing selection. They also had an amazing Cafe inside so I really like the idea of being able to chill and read. Seem like a cool place that I might go back to. Cafe staff and front checkout staff is super friendly. Kids Section: My kids play at the train table, find books, and try to talk me into a small toy or stuffed animal. They have a pretty big childrens books/toys section. I buy the majority of my physical books from B&N as well. Their stores are always clean and I always leave with my family having a good experience. We usually go about once a week. Also, having the membership saves me a pretty penny and they email/mail coupons.

Sure, I go here knowing what I want, but this place sucks me in to at least thirty minutes of browsing every single time. Their website has been surprisingly accurate, in terms of checking stock before heading over. Staff are friendly and willing to help, but it can be difficult to find someone on the floor. Great selection of books for every reader and non-reader. They also have a huge selection of magazines, games and puzzles, and the usual stationary section with notebooks and other cute things to promote reading and writing. My only gripe is that they used to have computer terminals where customers could go to locate a books location in the store, and they removed them. Having to find and recruit an employee to help is inconvenient, and the time it takes to do that takes away from time I would otherwise spend picking out other things to buy. Otherwise, I love this store and Im so grateful to have them close, especially around the Holidays.

I really like the location and staff at this Barnes & Noble, the place is always kept clean, and the staff are never too far if you need anything.Only downside to this location is the parking. They have a single lane parking directly in front of the store, which can be a nightmare when its busy. Save yourself and park at any other lot in the vicinity, its really not that much further haha

This is one of my regular Sunday afternoon chill out spots; a nice place to sit and read for a while. The nice thing about Barnes and Noble is that if you have a Nook device (or the app), you can get a hour to read nearly any book they offer... pretty cool. The cafe area is a decent size although in the evenings it seems as though the a/c is cranked up and Ive often had to put on a light jacket at times.The staff is helpful and pleasant and the store is clean. The mens restroom is another story, however... not as nice as Id expect but this seems to be true for most of the Barnes and Noble locations Ive visited.Its convenient to other food options, too; notably a Chipotle right next door.Parking is not bad but on weekends plan on a little more effort.

It turned out that the item they added was the best travel map weve seen to our destination and we purchased that rather than the original item. Im in a wheelchair. From the parking lot theres no real access. You have to go all the way around to the front. Which puts you in the street without a sidewalk. People in their rude, and do not get out of the way of people in wheelchairs. Including the employees. So if youre not disabled its a great place to go.

Being inside Barnes & Noble, in my opinion, you get this sense of comfort being around so much knowledge waiting to be thrown at you. And I have to admit, it is pretty overwhelming at the same time, because there is just so much too choose from. We went on a trip to get some books and a toy for our child. We took his grandma since we are on vacation visiting her and so she could get out of the house for a night. We found what we wanted plus some more with some assistance. The people who worked there were great and friendly. Reading is expensive though! It was worth it for the memories and learning. The only chain bookstore still rocking hard. Its pretty comprehensive for all modern titles so if you dont want to wait for shipping this is a good place. Also, they have tons and tons of collectible and table top board games with a variety of expansions and alternatives too. If this wasnt the only major bookstore in the area, I would find somewhere else to go. Every time I go in, I have trouble finding things. There have been multiple times that I have checked their system to find out if a book is in stock and where to find it but it hasnt been where its listed as being stocked. Theres rarely anyone at the help desk so I have to wander around in search of someone. Then, when I do finally find someone, they cant find the book Im looking for either, despite their system assuring them it is indeed in stock. The entire store is a mess; books are scattered between shelves, end caps, tables, and hand trucks sitting on the floor because theyre rearranging so its a wonder anyone can find anything at all. This is a pretty constant state for the store for the past year at least. I truly wish there was another large bookstore in the area that not only was better stocked and organized but had more competitive prices as well. I think Im just going to start ordering my books online. Usually I love the in-store experience, thumbing through books, perusing all the covers but I always end up leaving more frustrated and tense than when I went in. Which is horrible for a book lover such as myself.

Always a fun place to go and chill, or bring our kids. The best place to find any book you could possibly want, if they dont have it they get it for you. We love Barnes and Noble.

My go to place when I want to read a book or enjoy Starbucks while the kids play and read.It is just lovely here..i love the little train table section for the kids.

This review is for the starbucks that is inside. We ordered 3 drinks and all 3 were very bland and had no flavor. Don’t come here for the coffee. 👎

I couldnt find the book I wanted. The computer was removed so I couldnt check myself. No staff in sight. So what did I do? I called for help while INSIDE the store. Turns out they arent authorized to sell the book I was looking for. Hmmmm.

You can find a lot of really good gifts and boardgames here, aside from just books. Also the starbucks inside is nice too.

Staff here are so helpful. Came here to check out the books on sale, bought so many books. This bookstores has such a great variety. Check out there $5 amd $10 dollar sale.

A person at the door only allowing a certain number of shoppers in the store at a time due to the COVID-19 issue. No problem. I like the concern.
