Location:Okay, Parking: Good, Service: Okay, Coffee Shop: yes, Childrens books: yes, Manga Books: Yes, Magazines: Decent selection, CDs : small and and forgotten, Dvds: also lost and.needs change. Overall: over the years, I have watched this store lose some of its luster. Gone are the days of a few comfotable chairs to sit and read at your leisure, a good selection of cds placed in an order that made it easy to find what you were looking for. I would hate to see brick and mortar stores disappear for lack of trying. From what I noticed, they had a decent crowd of younger consumers, which is good. But for me, I still look for my CDs, and this store had a poor selection 2.5 stars

I really like this one. I’m a Barnes & Noble fan in general. This one is big and I like the cute little Starbucks area and the fact that it’s next to restaurants and some shopping stores as well as Best Buy. The people who work here are also really nice and always ready to help.

Very clean and open. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The young lady at the register told me about a sale they had going and recommended a book to me that was part of that sale while providing a synopsis of each one. I wish I could remember her name because she deserves a shout out. Great service!

They have a great selection of Magazines & books. There is a Starbucks at this store located in Glendora. Which is convenient. There is also seating in the Starbucks and near the Magazines section. I had a good shopping experience here. I found a few really interesting books and magazines to purchase.

I love this store. I have been to so many B&N and this store always has every single book I want whenever I need it. The staff is equally as amazing, and the store manager is extremely kind and always welcoming. The cafe is full of super friendly staff and everything they make is delicious. Typical barnes and noble. Clean and spacious. Idk about yall, but this place makes me feel good surrounded by crisp books. Much as its nice inside, when certain employees dont smile much or doesnt show enthusiasm, it brings the atmosphere down a bit, considering theyre at customer service desk. 😅

So my opinion may be biased because I am a bit of a book worm, but I really like this location. The staff have always been super helpful and the place is always neat and tidy. My family and I visited to pick up some new books and take advantage of the sweet 50% off deals they had going on. At check out everything went smoothly, we paid for our stuff and just as we were about to leave the store associate that rang us up said, wait, Im sorry, but may I take a look at your receipt? So, we handed it to him and just as he suspected one of the deals (buy 3 books get free tote) didnt ring up correctly and we had been charged for the tote. He made sure to check that all of the other deals went through and refunded the price of the tote. The entire time he had an amazing attitude and seem to genuinely care about the customers. He even kept thanking us for waiting while he corrected the systems mistake. We of course expressed how thankful we were because we probably wouldnt of noticed until we got home. This Barnes & Noble is a favorite in our book 😉

Tried and true- visit book stores. It’s massively inspiring and if you’re a “non-reader” trust me, you’ll feel differently if you build buying a book into your routine, even if it’s 1x every 6 months.Because of life’s hard lessons, I try my best to encourage my kids to buy and read books and to take care of their books to resell or donate said books.Knowledge is power. The more you read- whatever you read- you’re far better off in life.I still buy used books or look for free books. I do make it a point to support book stores and I do love bn. I enjoy that they sell music, too. The arts, creators, and suppliers of such are critical to our movement and experience.Imagine a world with no stories, there’s no movies, and no good movie is without wonderfully riveting music that moves the story along.I’m fascinated by writers of any genre, music of any genre and creators who bring both in harmony to give us shows/movies.Buy a book. One of my most favorite B&N locations to visit. They are always organized, clean, and they have a lot of their sections labeled with very detailed information about the types of books you can find on each shelf. I love this location, and always search here first for my books.

I always come back to this specific location. I love this place. They regularly refresh their inventory, and they rearrange the store from time to time, so you might have to search harder for what youre looking for. Employees are super helpful and approachable.The cafe area does have starbucks products, but they are not starbucks. You can not use the Starbucks app to pay for your items.

In overall, this place is really nice, especially the cafe that they have. However, I seemed to notice that there was this one person who may work in the bookstore that made me feel uncomfortable. He wore glasses, a dodgers cap, and is around average height. I would notice him following me around at times and made me want to leave the store as I didn’t feel safe.

My friend and I went to purchase books on a whim one Sunday evening in 2022. We arrived to the store about 30 mins before closing. One of the staff members who gave the time before closing announcements over the loud speaker was so humorous and entertaining that aside from the joy of buying new books, his humor added a whole new layer of fun to our experience! All the staff members were fun and super helpful. I will gladly drive the distance to go back to this location for books!

This WHOLE STORE deserves a 1 star review. A group of employees were all talking in your customer service area and just gossiping some people kissing and i was trying to get help but no one bothered turning to help me? this happened few weeks ago but i saw that happening again and i didn’t even bother asking for help. The only thing that is saving this location is the cafe area they gave me great customer service and very understanding about the circumstances and not to mention the cafe area doesn’t even have air conditioning!! how are they going to have their staff working these conditions?!!

There is something about casually entering and walking around a Barnes & Nobles that is very serene. Maybe its the cool air mixed with the scent of fresh new books or the organized sections that you can tell was passionately constructed. Nonetheless, it is a welcoming environment. This store has a large variety of books in multiple catagories along with classic board games, games, toys, and office supplies. I feel like no matter what time of year you go to this Barnes & Noble, they always seem to have what youre looking for bookwise. I was able to grab all the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books that I wanted for Christmas today and I gotta say, Barnes & Noble has to have one if not THE best customer support. This is one of my favorite barnes and noble to go to and its a place where i like to escape to get some alone time. Ive been coming here for a year now and so many great things has happened!! Their Starbucks has started doing monthly manga menus and also a side special drink and I just love how they come together and make these drinks as a team. Today I came in and I noticed there was a line with only one person in the Starbucks and its not her fault at all but the store itself. No one came in to help her or even give her break?? She looked really exhausted but recognized me and recommended me a delicious drink from their new manga menu. I only gave 1 star because of the book store not helping their fellow employee who had to go back and forth to take orders and make orders. I even noticed employees who work in the book store area coming to order and instead of making it themselves they just waited to have the Starbucks employee who is working by herself to do it for them. I hope management sees this to see how poorly they are treating their employees because this is my favorite Starbucks and the workers there are all so great and they dont deserve to work in such poor conditions.

This place is probably one of the worst places Ive ever been to when it comes to customer service. I was out shopping for a couple of books that I wanted and when I asked for help the employees where all huddled up arguing with one another and when asked for help they seemed more busy gossiping about other employees than willing to help. So I decided to leave. When I was on my way out trying to open the door because I had a stroller with my kid, the employees just stood on the way while of them had the guts to walk by on the other door while I struggled to open one! Like really? Their doors dont even have the handicap friendly button which any public should have. I hope someone sues them for that too so that they assume some responsibility. Worst place ever! If you dont want to work just leave and let others that do want to work take over. Pathetic!

This was a pleasant visit. Stocked up on a few goodies and made a stop at the attached Starbucks. Sam, the manager of Barnes is AMAZING!!! He took my order and was so helpful with suggesting what I should try and why (I was having trouble deciding).Not a regular place for me to shop, but when I do its always good. The store is always well stocked and maintained (minus the collectibles area but that is where the children roam.) There is an extensive ground floor open area that can be explored with ease, and help is always within earshot range. The help counter, which is located at the heart of the store, always has an associate that is willing to go the full 100 yards to assist you in finding what you are looking for, or to simply give you a recommendation. If you are looking for a friendly, yet clam and semi-quiet, place to purchase a book then this would be a good choice.There is never really a large line in the check-out lanes, but if there is, you may have to wait a few minutes (they usually only ever have 1-2 cashiers working at one time) but the line is handled well.

I went in for books on being a new big brother for my grandson. They had a whole little section and a salesperson led me right there. After choosing two, I was eligible for their childrens book of the month at a discounted price...such a deal (10 dollars off). So, I left with 3 books in total. Rather than a quick in and out purchase, I wasted my time looking for something that was supposed to be there, but wasnt. I love this bookstore so much! Their membership program includes discounts on not only the books, vinyl, CDs and toys/board games, but also on Starbucks products in the store!This location has a very large discount book area for the frugal, and the staff was very patient in assisting me in looking for whatever I needed. I never felt that they were bothered by my need for their time.Overall, a wonderful retail experience for me and my son while we were there. Definitely a favorite place to go while waiting for our movie to start in the local AMC theater.

The store has a wide range of books. The only inconvenience is that some books are cheaper on the Barnes & Noble website than in store, and the only way you can get the online price is to buy online and pick it up in store. Thats what I did, I was in the store but bought the books on my phone. It only took a few minutes for the books to be ready for pick up. Overall great experience, I got what I wanted for the lowest price they offered. 😁

Unfortunately they didnt have the cross body sling bag I was hoping to find, though the man we asked for direction asked someone else about them before taking us directly to where they would be if they were still on stock. Even helping us look through the bags they had. He did not offer to call the other stores for us, but we only had a limited time before catching our flight anyway. We left bagless, but happy.

Every so often they have some great sales that they set up in bins throughout the store. They apparently dont have them during the holiday season, I recommend going before tge holiday season if youre looking for great deals. Its a book store! Of the two locations Ive been to, 1-was nicely maintained (Gladstone) & the other was a hot mess (cough, Tyler). Yet, the 2nd store had the most efficient customer care service, while the first mentioned had no one in sight (crickets). Normally, I dont judge establishments solely by their restroom (I totally do, #3 on my checklist) cleanliness, and I would suggest corporate invest ⏲️ & $$ to update them, considering the high use. These stores are good community spaces, and more interactive & dynamic outreach to promote reading to their local population would go a long way in increasing literacy and appreciation in reading for fun, relaxation, & escape from the din of busy-ness in work-life. Go and check them out, good sales can be had, especially for gifts.

We were there with our two grandchildren to shop and attend the storytime. Unknown to us the first Saturday of the month is a service dog event.It was very difficult to find room to enjoy the story due to the fact there were 10 to 12 large dogs situated up next to the stage listening area. The children had to take a back seat to the dogs.Due to the lack of room and the inability to see or hear the story many of the families left, it was not a pleasant experience.Suggestion: have the dogs at the other end of the childrens section with the table and covered area. This will leave room to enjoy the childrens storytime.We also left without making the purchases we wanted too. Guess we will use Amazon too bad for the bottom line of one of the last existing bookstores.

I visited this particular : Barnes And Noble store, on : Thursday, February 5th 2015 . The customer service is excellent. The shopping center surroundings are simply magnificent . AMC Theatre just a little north of this splendid and magnificent book store. Then the gym I so love: 24 Hour Fitness Gym. By eating properly and good work outs have lost ten pounds . My cholesterol levels have amazingly improved . So its wonderful after a good movie and an excellent work to venture to : Barnes And Noble, relax on very nice relaxing seat with soft music playing in the back ground .Then have my favorite latte or just a very nice coffee at : The Star Bucks in the book store. I was some what dismayed the Barnes And Nobel in West Covina is no longer there . Yet this one is so easy to get to its so easy to find. From: Azusa south, right on Gladstone and left on : Shellman Ave. Its a very nice shopping center it does have nice posted signs to prevent trouble makers and some cameras . I love this additional safety. Especially if I go shopping and have leave a few items in my car. They hopefully will be apprehended . My experience was wonderful at this : Barnes And Nobel. I wanted to obtain a certain book the very nice and professional customer service is beyond words. Exemplary, outstanding performance of the very beautiful blond and beautiful Latina, to me beyond the call of duty. At both occasions as both were very busy actually stopped what they were in the process of doing to show concern with customer service love to order me a book not yet available in the store . This is how I love being treated . Along with the sir or Ms. Supposedly some stores have closed because some customers choose to shop online. The significant problem with shopping online is the obvious: Identity theft. It is not solved and will always be a problem . I myself love to pay in cash. So if the excuse is to save money . Then ask any victim of identity theft how much did it cost to fix their credit rating ? Was it worth it gambling like this ? Plus all the pain and suffering just to save only a few dollars . When they could have enjoyed a very nice Latte or very nice : Starbucks coffee . Relax after a great movie and a good relaxing work out, at :24 Hour Fitness. Then complete my journey with a very nice book to glance at, while relaxing to soft music in the back ground. This it self is such excellent therapy . Who ever invented : Barnes And Nobel should be put in for a award. As far as these two wonderful employees . Their display of kindness, patience love and under standing with exemplary customer service performance . They should properly be awarded. A Certificate Of Excellence Award, in front of the store from the corporate office. On perhaps customer service recognition day. Just relaxing in a very nice customer friendly environment helps my chronic back arthritis temporarily go away. I do pray more stores do reopen. God Bless.
