I am so excited to find Barnes & Noble. It used to be everywhere, but now I can hardly see one. This one is small, but layout is exactly the same. Book is less but a lot more gift. I guess online book takes over the real book. Their magazine section cover large selections. And the Starbucks is great. Get to read and drink coffee. It’s one of my favorite thing to do in the past.

I came here today with my baby boy and my husband and I had about 4 people follow me around through out the store, my husband was looking at books while I was in the kids section and he overheard a young man with a headset to check the kids section which was the section I was in and I he got worried thinking something happened but it turned out they kept following us and even when we were leaving and had paid for our stuff they made sure to make us feel uncomfortable. This was a bad experience for us since we always go to different Barnes and noble in hopes getting some toys and books for our baby and it gives a bed taste to come back when we’re going to be followed around by workers.

I went in here when visiting LA to buy books for my kids and nephews (of varying ages). The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and helped me pick books for each of them that were absolutely fantastic.

Brain 🧠 wave reading instruments to inchance think while planning ahead. Imagine if we could have one in south central cartel at the local space station #allstargas they dont pay swell because idky however their pretty intelligent or really good actors. Great selection of books! I always enjoy coming here. This place is always clean and well organized. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Theres also a Starbucks in the store. If youre old school like me and enjoy paper in your hands, this book store is the place for you!

This is my favorite branch of B&N. They have everything I absolutely need. I don’t remember coming by looking for a title that they didn’t have in stock or is needed to be ordered. Except for one rolling stone magazine issue on August 2017, which had Pearl Jam featured in its cover, but later found out the issue was available only in Australia - hence they didn’t have it.My daughter loves this store and insists on coming with me every time, because their store section for kids is very fun and visually entertaining, it has all the right books on display and have all titles all kids love from pre- to young teens.Music section is a fave and having coffee avail on-site w/ it’s mini cafe set up is a plus.

This location of B&N is the best. Always clean, bright and organized, its one-level layout makes the maneuvers very easy, especially if you have a kid who stays at the childrens section. Smart idea to have Starbuck at its lounge!

This conveniently-located bookstore is not just a simple bookstore. They have almost every type of literature that you can think of Plus audio Media, Records, tapes, CDs, DVDs & More! I found some awesome reading glasses and sat down and enjoyed myself reading a book I had just purchased while in a Cozy Coffee Shop. THe coffee shop which is located inside has great snacks and awesome cookies! I had one and it was great! I tried the caramel sea salt it was really good. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Ample parking!

This is my favorite B&N and I’ve been coming here for many years. I am a proud member. The cafe staff are really nice and accommodating. The booksellers are also usually very nice, even when they are working seasonal. You can tell the management is very good here. I also noticed that they have people that have been working here for a long time, must be because they like working here.You might be able to find some books for less on Amazon but this is so much nicer. Also, if you get the membership, the free shipping and discounts are really helpful if you’re a fellow bibliophile.

My favorite is the Manhattan Beach, California location. This is an extremely well stocked store that has paper goods, games and educational toys, as well as books. What most impressed me? The way things were organized, especially the tarot section. You could see the titles and it was easy to make a selection.

There are not many book stores in South Bay. BN is probably one of the best ones left. There is a SB coffee shop within the store as well where you can enjoy coffee/snacks while browsing through books.

They have remodeled this Barnes and Noble. I love that they have CDs and DVDs. I like their flat bread pizza and the atmosphere. Its great to go into a physical bookstore and buy what you can touch.

Love these brick and mortar bookstore. I hope it never closes. Super clean, easy to browse, nice sales from time to time. I picked up a couple of Lianne Moriarty books and ordered a graphic novel to support the excellent friendly and helpful staff. I even got compliment on my Hawaiian shirt!

I love this book store its so clean. You can find almost everything you want in books and much more. Someone is always ready to help you if you need it. Plenty of room to read and have coffee or like me at 72 years old, I still like to sit on the floor and read. Your kids will love this book store too.

Its a nice store with attentive staff. The problem is, the last two times Ive visited, Ive had to order from Amazon instead (from within the store, to my chagrin) because they didnt have either recent (past couple of years) nonfiction titles I was looking for in stock. Instead, a good percentage of the floor space is taken up with toys and collectibles.The second time in particular, I tried to find something else to get just to make it not a wasted trip, but I eventually gave up. Long story short, its a nice store, but its more geared to customers who are impulse or current-bestseller shopping and hanging out.

This is a standard bookstore with full service book buying amenities. Great place to introduce kids to the pleasures of browsing in the green pastures of brand new books. Many excellent toys too, and a very comfortable area for kids and their families. Excellent sales too. Lots of free parking and a good coffee shop on site

Honestly some of the nicest people ever. Very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. When I was there, there log system was down. Despite this they were still able to locate the desired books with ease. Thats how much they love and care about books and there job. It was amazing. To many good things to say!

I like this store and its at a good location. I enjoy browsing their collection and usually find a good read. Starbucks inside and good seating areas to review mags. and books before buying. And there is free WiFi to connect but no place to plug in your laptop in coffee shop to enjoy coffee while reading or browse on web.

Only bookstore in the area. Starbucks inside there are a few scattered seats to sit and read. Parking available but part of an outdoor shopping center. I suggest going during the earlier part of the day as the parking can be a bit tight. They have most titles but willing to order what is not on the shelves. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large selection of titles and games plus toys all for kids.

I didnt get the name of the woman who helped me but she seemed to be a manager or supervisor. She helped me quickly and easily find a couple of books that I needed for school. I really enjoy visiting a good bookstore. I try to come here when I can rather than just always buying on Amazon. The staff are friendly and helpful, and its nice to be able to actually touch something before you buy it.I only gave 4 stars because realistically they still cant beat the convenience of Amazon. Thats just reality. The last time I went I had a list of books I wanted to take a look at. They didnt have 1 of them. On the other hand, I ended up getting one I didnt even know existed so theres that.Over all its a fun and worthwhile place to check out. 👍🏻

I love B&N! My kids really enjoy exploring the children’s area. I like the expanded game and puzzle area as well. I wish there were only educational items on the shelves but there are toys now too. This continues to be a fun place to go during inclement weather.

The book selection is nice but the staff ignored me. It seems a 6ft black man is invisible here. Except for when the employee asked me to step aside so they could show another customer the books on the shelf in front of me. Before that they saw me squinting at items on a shelf and did a 180 turn instead of approaching me. Helloooo Amazon. I wish I was making this up but... Ill just shop elsewhere instead of across the street from work.

I just love these bookshops. The displays are good and the combination of books and coffee is great. It is a shame that it has not caught on in UK like it has in the US. Barnes and Noble appear to be consistent throughout the States, although I cant speak for all of them. Prices of books are also consistently high; it is worth checking if the book you want is available in UK or from ABE.

I come to this Barnes and Noble often. I like to do work in the cafe section. It is a good size, though not the biggest of the Barnes and Noble. The selection of books is still quite good and their magazine section is extensive. The cafe has a good amount of seating so Im always able to find a table. They serve Starbucks coffee drinks, an extensive selection of delicious pastries and other sweets, Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes, hot sandwiches and soups. They are open late (until 10:00) and have free wifi. The staff there has always been friendly and quite helpful.

The store itself is fine. My reason for 5 stars is an employee helped me know what was wrong with my Nook that is 6 or 7 years old. My husband and I were looking at new ones, or even the $50 tablet because I thought my old Nook was dead, but the guy (I didnt get his name) was kind enough to tell me what to try even though that meant I wouldnt be buying anything that day. He was knowledgeable and not just trying to get a sale, so I appreciate that.

A large location, the staff are friendly and open to helping you out when they ask. Kudos to the door guard whos been there for years - hes always very kind and opens the door for people. Barnes and Noble has always been a great place to buy books, especially this one. I remember back in Elementary getting a gift card for this magical place that sold books and as a kid who really loved books it was heaven. The prices are very reasonable, though it can be quite expensive at times. TheMembership pushing can be a bit tedious, but its part of the job so I let it slide. Overall, this Barnes and Noble is very good in all areas.

One of the managers there is a total nightmare! She is so rude and she profiled and followed me and my husband around the store disciplining us like we were children while we were just stooping down reading books and deciding things that I was going to buy for my 20 year old children and then I wanted to make exchanges that had not even been open and that was a hassle and she made a scene about that exchanged one and I thought she was finished and when I walked away from the counter she yelled at me that she wasnt done so any other Barnes & Noble is peaceful but stay away from this one unless you want somebody to have her over your shoulder and discipline you for doing what youre supposed to do at a bookstore! So ridiculous and horrible customer service I will never go back to this Barnes & Noble again she needs to be fired! Shes a heavy set older Caucasian lady and if youre the store manager reading this you need to know that she is really mean to customers and makes people feel extremely uncomfortable not only that she refused to give me my cash even though I paid with my debit card and force me to take store credit as if I want to go back to that store never will I step foot in it again!

B & n is part of Americas past. sadly this beautiful model of a home away from your home has not survived new economic models. even i buy my books on amazon.but there is no more wonderful place to go...hang out...have something delicious...or sit and drink coffee for hours on your computer.when i am there in the area with time to kill...perhaps avoiding a rush hour...i love it. i readily purchase some food and coffee...a dessert...and see if i can find a book or magazine to buy. these places need to be supported.thanks b & n.

Despite two rude workers there. Everyone else was kind and helpful and friendly and respectful. I couldnt find an item. And the kiosk guy was soooooo nice! He went out of his way to find the item even though the item had no tag at all !! But he solved the mystery. And called me later that day and when I went in a couple days later. They said he felt so bad that it took so long to find the item they offered a discount plus it was the last one too!! The front cashier was helpful. The cashier in music. Even though I was next in line. Asked me to wait and she took a different customer that had just walked up! (I couldnt help to think its because I wasnt blonde and the other person was - that was my total feeling!) However!! As I said. Everyone else wasnt like the two rude cashiers. Even the security lady was such a pleasure to be greeted by. Happy to be there. Happy to help. Its nice to go in somewhere and the people r just nice!

Barnes and Noble is a very stable part of my reading community. It is the best place to buy magazines just 2nd to a roadside newsstand. The coffee shop with its tables, chairs and positioning in the store makes for a great place to read and scan possible book purchases. I know I could order my books through amazon, but wheres the fun in that? Human contact is where its at.

I kept being asked if i needed help after constantly communicating politley i did not need help and was simply browsing. I was being followed by an employee, she kept popping up at every aisle i was in. It was annoying its like if she was making sure i wasnt going to take anything. My home away from home. I love being in this bookstore. I can walk around at my leisure and yesterday I decided to read in store. If youre in Barnes and Noble you can shop and read a book for free in the store. I sat in the coffee shop with my Starbucks coffee, pulled out my glowlight Nook (the BN e-reader) and spent a couple hours reading. It was calming. I was actually shocked and disappointed that this B&N was so limited on books on any subject and had a substantial toy section. My hometown of 220,000 Modesto Ca B&N is a much better store. It really blew me away.

This Barnes & Nobles has a large expanse of different varieties of books to nooks to choose from. Although it isnt the largest Barnes & Nobles I have been to, and some of the people that work there arent all that friendly either, but its quite nice and if your looking for a good book you should check it out.

After I had an issue with some travel books I ordered on Amazon, not Amazons fault but the good old USPS, I decided to buy the books at Barnes and Noble. The books were in stock, however, they were considerably more expensive than on Amazon. Im talking about $7-$10 per book. I guess thats a premium you pay when buying at a brick and mortar store. The bookstore was quiet, but I couldnt help noticing the number of people at the Starbucks Coffee area that were sitting there using the free Wi-Fi, looking at books and just lounging there. Buying a Frappuccino doesnt give you the right to be there all day and use the Wi-Fi. No wonder the books are so expensive there.
