We come here every so often to find books that are discounted. The deals are pretty good and the employees are generally nice and helpful if you are looking for something specific. Sometimes we like to grab coffees and pastries from the coffee shop inside and chill while we let the kids run around looking for books they want to buy!

I do like the store, the people were friendly and not only did I find the book I was looking for, my wife found one that she has been wanting to read. If you want to shop books, but want the hands on the product feeling, I would absolutely give this particular store a recommendation. We recently came into possession of stamp albums with no postage, and thought we better educate ourselves before we make the wrong move. Most the employees know what their doing, but one might not know the difference from poetry and religion lol. Great store though....

Went in here to browse, not looking for anything in particular. Was really impressed by how huge the store was!! Employees were eager to help me. The bathrooms were really clean. Starbucks was inside and they had no line. They also had really nice furniture that I wish my neighborhood bookstore had!

This is a nice place, its cool they have a Starbucks inside. They recently added a pop culture section near the manga and comics. The record selection here isnt very big, and also expensive; if youre looking for a good priced vinyl I would go to a specialty store.There are restrooms here and a water fountain.The staff is usually nice, the only issue I found was that I wasnt allowed into the childrens book section.. what if I was buying a gift for someone? This was a few years ago, but the woman would not let me in regardless of my reason.

The cafeteria is awesome, they arent Starbucks but they sell Starbucks products together with other yummy goodies. Also They dont take the Starbucks card but the Barnes & Noble card. Great discounts and some times way cheaper than SB. Love the service, the ambiance any the books and magazines you can read while drinking a cup of tea or coffee. #LocalGuides

Good except the mens room doors dont close for some reason. Weird rule.*Update*After asking if the door could be closed while using the facilities, the local management simply responded with this is our building. Standing water, urine and a sink broken for 6+ months is the standard.Just be aware.

The most beautiful place on earth, as soon as you step in the scent of new books hit you last time I visited they had some titles on a discount of buy one and get the second one with a 50% off so it was awesome, I totally splurged on a few books but I absolutely loved it

Great place to go if you are looking for books. They have a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books here. In addition to the books, they also have other items, such as puzzles, for sale. The place is clean and and they do a good job keeping the books in order. There is also a Starbucks with seats located in the store. The store is conveniently located in the mall, which makes it a great place to stop by while you are shopping.

Barnes and Noble, to me, is a readers Disneyland. There are so many books and accessories to choose from. I could stay there and read book after book and not get bored. Their small food area does have simple foods and excellent coffees. Yea, when you visit Barnes and Noble, youll find that it could be your Disneyland. I do. Go for it.

This is my favorite Barnes and Noble. I missed this location when I moved and I still travel down to it when I can. It has an amazing cafe with special seasonal flavours! Grab a book and take a seat! Can’t beat the location. Clean, accessible, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful staff. Though this place is prone to getting busy (school kids etc) the staff here gets the line moving when needed and still able to maintain the floor. The Starbucks is convenient fast and friendly as well.

I have never had a single good experience here with an employee that was on the floor at this location. They are always rude and act like they couldn’t care less about any of the customers. I go to this location often since it’s the only B&N near me but I avoid talking to the employees like it’s the plague because they are that awful. Just to preface, I work at Chick-fil-a, I understand stress (although they are seemingly never under any stress) and rude customers but even when I am smiling and friendly they are still so rude!!! The employee that I asked a question to today didn’t look at me once the whole time I was interacting with them and literally gave me one word answers. Honestly just avoid this location if you can.

The woman (I believe she was the manager) that I spoke to was so helpful! I was looking for works by a specific author and not only did she happen to have extensive knowledge about him, she also gave me recommendations on which books she felt were more/less worth the read, showed me where to find his different novels, and ordered one for me that wasn’t in store. I got a call 3 days later saying that it had been delivered! I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that they carry an extensive collection of board games and cool gifts for kids. Honestly was impressed by how much this corporate book store upped their game from the last time I was in one! My boyfriend and I could have spent hours in there looking at all of the collector’s items and new board games (which there is a lot of now apparently)All of the other staff members were super friendly and welcoming!

Its a pretty nice and quiet place to go to. We found books for everyone. Its a spacious for my double stroller and they have story time every so often. The restrooms are well kept from the last time I used them. Very spacious so its more than enough room to change my sons diaper if needed. Plus theres a coffee shop right next door so if youre ready to dive into a book, head on to get coffee or tea.

I live far from this location but I so wish a store like this was in Downtown. Its huge and employees are polite and friendly. Its spacious and there is a variety of books in many genres. If you cant find a book thats newer chances are its here. The video / electronic section is nice too. Ive been coming to this bookstore for a long time. Always enjoyed spending time reading and having a tea. What I always find surprising is why the bathroom of this Barnes & Noble so dirty? It didnt used to be several years back. But the past 5-6 times Ive been there the womans restroom it is always dirty. They never have paper towels...the counters are all wet...none of the trash cans are emptied out. And the toilet stalls have toilet paper strewn all over the floor and no toilet paper. Ive always wondered does the staff ever go in there to clean?? I dont get how a store like Barnes & Noble can have such poor service when it comes to sanitation. Hope the management takes care of this problem because Im pretty sure Im not the only one who has noticed this.

This is a great location and a good store. Its large but isnt normally super packed. They have a large section of manga, graphic novels, kids books and basically any other type of book you would want. Theres also a large selection of board games and I think there is a toy section too.For some reason they never have bags when you check out. One time wouldnt be a big deal, but this has happened at least three separate times.If you get a membership with then youll get 10% off most of your items.

Nice selection of new arrivals, kids books, and a range of other subjects. Staff is friendly and helpful. Kids area is offset and tailored to their needs, including a toddler area and a dedicated reading area with chairs. In an era when you can find any book you want online, its nice to be able to browse the titles, see whats new, turn the pages, and experience the books you are about to buy. As a bonus there is a built-in Starbucks past the magazine area.

Its usually quiet, clean and organized. Good slection of books; manga, mystery, whatever your taste is. They also have a CD and DVD section. Its nice that they have a kids section with books and also some kids toys. The sbux inside is nice, usually not too busy, they have different pastries and sandwiches. Love that I live down the street from an actual book store. If I even need anything in a short amount of time, I can go here. I also bring my kids here for some books. When they need something new to read and the library doesnt have it, this is a good place. They have lots of selection but only a DECENT in specific categories. For instance, they have books everywhere ranging all over the place but when I go for my Tech Books, they have only about 3 different for a certain subject.

There are no hand baskets available. Normally not a big deal, but any dummy can tell you that you should want to give your customer a means to carry more items so can buy more in one trip. After already picking out a few toys and books, I spotted a number of holiday bags under each table display. Noting the $12 price, chose one I found cute enough to commit to and proceeded to fill it with the stuff I had already picked out. I then searched out an employee to see if there was a price scanner in the store since the toys have no prices listed. The two employees I asked told me that the Customer Service Desk was the only way to check prices prior to checking out, then they both proceeded to harass me about using a bag to hold my items. I told them I planned on buying the bag and they said, Youre still not allowed to use the bag to hold your purchases. If you want, we can hold them up front for you. You mean to tell me that I cant use the bag I intend to purchase to hold the rest of my items? Seriously‽ I would put a 1-star rating for the piss-poor service and general lack of common sense by the employees, but the stores one saving grace is that each of my items was cheaper than buying online. If you dont want customers to use the bags they want to buy prior to checking out, put them BEHIND the register!

Ive been to a lot of different book places, and as a book lover I adore Barnes and Noble. This particular location is very nice and it right across the way from The Cheesecake Factory, so you can go here and buy your books and then go grab a meal and enjoy your reading material. Its a very nice, clean, organized location. My only complaint is that sometimes its hard to find certain books that youre looking for, but the works are a great help in that regard.

My girls always want to go here when we come to the mall. I am happy they are learning to love reading. The kid reading area is always their main destination. I like the reading platform seating area that looks like it is right out of the Hundred Acre Wood. Always a good photo op, and my girls will read as long as I let them. Located in Otay Ranch Town Center Mall behind the Cheesecake Factory, they have a good selection for books to gift this holiday season along with other great gifting options. Store hours have been extended for the holiday season(great for procrastinators;D)! Despite the crowd, the store was organized. Found my item easily and the purchase was quick. Thank you Apollo! Now you can get books from Amazon, but still there is no better feeling than to be able to browse books and find a good to great selection of books. Especially new best sellers and brand new books for book lovers. You can find some other oddities such as legos, brain teasers, etc. I am glad it opened after a while during the pandemic which it became my safe heaven for buying new books to keep me busy.

I love Barnes & Noble, I hope they never shut down. This is the only store in the mall we go to every time we are here. We check the clearance bins and can usually find some nice things there, and use the 20% off coupons we get for being members to purchase more expensive items like the bigger box board games. On most of them their price is right on par with Amazon and the member discounts side on B&Ns favor.

Not a Starbucks but they sell Starbucks drinks inside. Awesome selection of books! And the kids area was my favorite. Went in to check out some books and ended up buying toys, books, goodies and some gadgets they sold at Barnes and noble. Renewed my subscription while I was at it.

Wide selection of books, records, magazines, games and toys. I love that there is also a good amount of childrens books in Spanish, for my little ones. My 7yr old is in love with the Hombre Perro series. Their selection of vinyl is also pretty decent! Barnes and Noble also has a café, so its a great place to grab a bite and chill.

I love the store! Theres even a Starbucks inside. There is a wide array of selection of books as well. But today, I had the worst experience there because of an employee there. Let me explain what happened. I went to the bookstore today and asked who I think was the manager today. Like many employees, I am looking for the cheapest way to obtain a book. I noticed that the online price was much cheaper than in the store so I asked her if I can return it after I receive my online version from Barnes and Nobles website. She gave me a dirty look and said, Im not going to answer that. Youre basically taking advantage of our return policy. I was unsure of what to do so I called my dad to ask him what he would suggest. He told me to buy it for now and when the one we ordered online ships home, I can return this one. I dont see how it would make that much of a difference because Im buying it from the same company. While I was walking to the register, she was bad mouthing about me to other employees. She didnt realize I walked by her until she turned around and stopped talking and walked away. While I was at the register, she came by and told me that even if there is a wrinkle, they wont take it back. Overall, she is a horrible manager and was extremely disrespectful. I hope she gets fired because such a great bookstore should not have employees like her.

If the item is not available in store, the Help Desk will assist you with ordering your item for in-store pick up or delivery to your home or business. They dont carry much of a selection of books. Sure, they carry a bunch of books, but its all modern woke stuff. They cater to the generation that will spend their parents money and still not be happy. And, they block the internet there, because the gubmint said so. And they have big signs prohibiting the drinking of the corporate coffee theyre schlepping to the woke lollipops that are there to support the economy. Meh.

Typical barnes and noble. It does depen on what time you visit. Because it is a teen hang out and the quiet atmosphere diminishes. Over all I got the books I wanted and a decent cup of Starbucks. If you plan on getting Starbucks its a lengthy wait.

Love that the kids can grab a book & read in the childrens area and I can shop around for myself then head to the Starbucks cafe thats on-site. Its a nice, clean place and quiet place where you can get some quick shopping done & do some light reading.

We were returning a set of Warriors (book series about cats) at a brick and mortar Barnes & Noble. They take returns and refund the books as long as they are in the original condition that the book was bought. Fair enough. The cafeteria serves decent desserts and sandwiches. I bought a tiramisu cup, and after the B&N discount, was $3.38.

Gone are the days of wondering around the store with a book in hand reading in a corner chair deciding on if its become glued to your minds hand and you should buy it or go browse for another.I blame covid but thats okay because you can stoll come here for a good book but also for a game or great puzzle. I ordered a decaf coffee and Cashier Gonzalez A said there were only shots available. I really wanted a decaf coffee and this is Starbucks you should have it. He said it would take 20 minutes to brew a pot, when I have previously ordered it and takes 5 minutes to brew. As I sat and wait for rest of order I could hear the employee complain to his colleague about my order. You know I’m here I could here you. I had to go to Cheesecake Factory across to get my decaf and they’re not coffee shop. Disappointed.

I went in for a book that just came out that day, Blackout. Usually new books are on display in the front. Others were. So I asked, the lady dragged her feet and found 1 somewhere on a shelf. I asked why they didnt have more and she said they only order what they think theyll sell I was looking to buy three books but couldnt. What kind of bookstore doesnt stock up on a new book? The most anti covid place I’ve seen, ppl take books and back without any sort of sanitizer or gels first . Once a saw a guy leaving the bathroom without washing his hands, and after he was again grabbing books and leaving them .Disgusting, i have a friend with covid going there a few days ago, so good luck with that.

It is a good sized store that has a lot of selection and the staff has been friendly and helpful to me. I have never had a problem at the check out area because I always see someone there.

With borders going bankrupt, I resort to the over priced bookstore Barnes & Noble. I consider this to be a finer location versus the mission valley and grossmont spots. The store is large and has a Starbucks inside. Everything youd expect from a bookstore. Nothing special and outstanding.
