Stunning Architecture! Great welcoming and informative staff :) very peaceful atmosphere. Please do look at the timings and visit. We reached at 2pm there was a break we were asked to come again at 4pm. We got to see the stunning italian marble architecture.

Extremely welcoming people. Very beautiful craftsmanship and attention to detail. I was blown away by the sheer scale and time it must have taken to complete it. There was also a wedding taking place that look so pretty too. The inside is breathtaking, I would compare it to St. Peter’s basilica or the tapestries in the Vatican. I understand why photos aren’t allowed because you have to see it for yourself. The cafeteria also looked and smelled amazing.

My friend showed me the pictures, but the pictures did not show how beautiful the temple in person. The architecture is beautiful with great details. You cannot take picture inside the temple. Wear appropriate clothes and please be respectful of people who come to worship if you are tourist like me. It can get busy later on. I came when it first open. We stopped the gift shop, they are reasonably price. The cafe has vegetarian food and snacks. We got some Samosa (I am not sure exact name). I do recommend to come and visit, it is free.

Not what we expected to see next to the 71 Fwy and an industrial park. Stunning grounds and the exterior only gives you a taste of what is inside (no photography allowed) in inside pics are of the visitors center not the temple. Also check out the restaurant and sweets shop. The samosas are excellent. It is free to visit.

It’s an architectural beauty. Maintained very clean. While you can take photos of the building and landscape inside the sanctum you cannot photograph it’s an age old practice in India with no reason. The vegetarian Resturant in the complex is good and there is tons of Indian snacks sold in there. Please note there is an elevator available to get to the top of main building you need not walk up the stairs if you cannot.

We visited this temple yesterday and enjoyed alot. The calmness around the temple. There was a marriage happening inside the temple which was a surprise to us. Attended the 1115 am arti at the temple and enjoyed. Last we had gone there in 2016 and it was still under construction but this time it was complete. Visited the exhibition area and learned about the history of BAPS and Swami Narayan. There is also a lightning fountain which operates in night so we missed that part.There is also a restaurant and a shop to buy food. Overall a day well spent.

We visited this magnificent Temple . Everything was well organized and in reception was greeted by Kususmita who briefly explained the history and programs conducted .The canteen and shop area is also has items for reasonable price .Wish they have a good water filter in the restaurant either one buys one or there was a drinking water fountain ..Jai Swamps Narayan 👍😇🙏🏼

Its a very nice temple of Lord Swaminarayan, built in a very big area having very good infrastructure & land scaping with flowering. There is food court where you can get snacks, lunch & dinner with lots of options. Devotees are coming from all sects & every corner of the world. One must visit this temple if coming to California State.

Very beautiful and powerful spiritual BAPS temple in Chino hills near LA. The architecture of the temple is so amazing that it cant be describe by word. It is must visit place if you are in that area . Each and every corner of the temple made with white marble in side the temple and used the latest tech to with stand heavy EQ. The Exhibition has lots of information about how this template made, tech used, stone and architecture, our values, Dharma and lot . There is refreshment shop which also have lots of authentic Gujarati items to eat and buy.

An amazing site with a masterpiece of architecture with carved details. When going up inside the temple, you must take off your shoes/sandals, when you’re inside the temple no photography allowed and silence must be observed. If you don’t prefer to use the stairs, you can use the elevator.Be mindful of the culture, wear decent clothings since this is a place of worship.Admission is free and a lot of parking. This place is an architectural marvel. Ive seen nothing like this temple in the bay area. Huge area and temple is located in the center. Everyone needs to enter through a visitor center - where there is a small store which sells idols and attached is another store which sells snacks and grocery.The main temple is beautifully organized with ram, Krishna and Shiva idols and statues of all the successors of swaminarayan. Felt very peaceful. Would definitely recommend visiting this place irrespective of religion and beliefs.Some other random info:There is ample space for parking.No photography allowed inside.

Beautiful mandir. Open to the public and you can visit for free. Inside you have to take off our shoes and be respectfully quiet. Extremely friendly staff with gorgeous architecture. They have a exhibit underneath as well. Make sure to check into the visitor center. They also have a shop and sell food items as well.

We spent about an hour exploring the entire temple and learning about its architectural history in the exhibition downstairs, which provides a comprehensive overview of the temple’s construction and other relevant information. There’s food court inside where you can get food, sweets & other stuff on the way to exit. Overall, it is unquestionably one of the top attractions in California, and I look forward to returning in the future to witness the fountain show, which is currently closed.

Temple is nice and clean with sufficient parking in side temple premises.Artwork inside and outside of temple is amazing.Photos not allowed in side main temple.Guided audio tour is available do check for it at visitors center.Status are beautiful and you will feel relax just by looking.Cafeteria is ok. Not much options.Store along side cafeteria is good. Snakes and other stuffs like mini temples, books, Pooja sahitya is available for purchase. Price is decent.

Its a beautiful and elegant temple near LA. It is spread in a very huge space and serves as a very good stopover point while travelling from SFO Bay area to San Diego as it runs a great kitchen with several variety of authentic Indian meals, beverages and snacks.Darshan timings are very limited (its closed 12-4 pm) so we havent been able to get darshan inspite of visiting twice. One can still access cafeteria and outside premises. It has sit out area and clean restroom.Parking is free within the complex. The temple also allows private events for small ceremonies and gatherings. Must visit.

First time coming here, my girl took me here 😊For those who have never been here, it is an amazing experience to come see and experience. Please be respectful of their culture. Once you are inside the temple, on the second floor please do not take any pictures or be too loud. Respect the peace and environment.What to expect here:Wonderful sceneryA lot of parking spacesPlenty of amazing places to take pictures if your with your love oneBefore you go to the second you will have to take your shoes off and take the elevator to the second floor.You will have to cover your kneesYou will have to cover your top- bring a hoodie to and long pants if your a man.Enjoy the view and read the history behind the scenery.Friendly staff to guide youOnce you are done enjoying the second floor, come down to the first floor and enjoy more history and pictures on how the temple was made. The entry is free so is the parking 😊Once we were done with the tour we continue to take more pictures outside and grabbed some vegetarian food.

A piece of India in Chino Hills. This is an awesome place to admire outstanding architecture, delicious Indian food and visiting the beautiful Mandir.The temple is free to visit but please be respectful and dress accordingly. Inside the Mandir, videos and photos are not allowed, but outside youre free to do it.Last week, we were lucky to visit it and know about the Diwali Celebration.Usually, the temple is magnificent by itself but with all the lights for the festivities, it was breathtaking.

Beautiful Temple… no shoes on the stairs leading to the temple and no shoes inside the temple. You will see benches on the side with cubbies for shoes (surprisingly at 100 degrees the floors don’t feel hot). Your not allowed to take pictures inside, pls be respectful. Also make sure your shoulders are not exposed and your attire is all the way to your knees. If you forget they will kindly ask you to cover yourself with a complementary loaned shawl. They have a souvenir shop and a cafeteria.

These photos are horrible. Must see in person! First off, how lucky are we to have such an incredible place so close to home. This place was absolutely stunning. The intricate details of everything. From outside in. From top to bottom. Each sculpture had its own detailed story just by looking at it.We went at night to watch the lights spectacular show however, we will return on a beautiful sunny day. Being able to see this place during the daytime will surely be a wonderful experience of its own. Beautiful place for photos.No shoes allowed inside. You leave shoes at the bottom of the stairs.Thankfully, I was very pleased to see how respectful visitors were throughout the event.

This is a beautiful Indian Hindu temple!! A must visit place for anyone - I have seen many times non-Indian families visiting the place and admiring its beauty. Pay close attention to temple hours if you wish to visit the prayer house/temple as well as it is closed in the afternoon before it reopens in the evening.They have on site vegetarian cafe that sells hot Indian meals as well as dry snacks - all at a very reasonable price.Tip: entry is free however on the weekends/holidays parking can be a bit difficult.

Theyre really organized and staff is kind and friendly.We parked in the overflow and since we had elderly they kindly gave us find a spot closer to the entrance.Inside the temple is very exquisite, arabesque a plenty inside and out. This is so beautiful place. It’s quiet and calm. For some people this temple is the most important place, where they can pray and turn to God. That’s why you need follow the rules inside. You have to take off the shoes, hide knees and shoulders, be quiet. If you don’t have long skirt or pans, they can give you some cloth.

I visited this wonderful temple last year for the Diwali celebration. The first thing you notice is how large and majestic the temple is. Beautifully constructed and my understanding is not a single nail was used. Any comment from would make is truly an understatement. Absolutely stunning. We traveled to visit the temple just for a small sight seeing drive on a Sunday afternoon and it did not disappoint. Admission was free as was parking. All those who were working that day to care for the temple were so friendly and helpful answering any questions about the amazing architecture as well as general info. There is a cafeteria style café off of the gift shop, we didnt stop in as we had just eaten before our visit but the aroma was very tempting. Well definitely be back to try the cuisine. Overall, for sure worth checking out.

I was driving on my way to Seattle and I saw this complex from the highway. I had to stop to pull over. I’m going inside of it fascinating magnetically interesting irresistibly curious ..so I purchased some food while I was in there if there’s a restaurant in there and took a bunch of photos of the food I got was cashew cookies nine it’s called Cashew NaNKHATAI I purchased another cookie SATTA and aloo puff.I could not go into the temple because I didn’t have enough time to take up my shoes and put on some clothes to cover my knees because you have to have long pants on and they have clothes that you can put on and you can go inside the temple but I was pressed for time so I just took some wonderful photos from the courtyard surrounding the temple …I must return you must go there, but give yourself a lot of time when you go there because there is quite a bit to see anyway have a wonderful time. We spent about an hour and half here checking out the grounds. The visitor center is filled with ornate wood carvings. There is a shop next to the entrance that was filled with Indian treats, Im not sure if this was special for Diwali or if its usually there. There are no shorts, no shoes, no pictures allowed inside the actual temple. The interior of the temple has beautiful stone work all throughout. Definitely go check this place out!

Great experience visiting the temple during one of the Diwali celebrations. It was wonderful and at the same time humbling to know how much the people praised and celebrated their Gods. The temple was packed for very good reasons but there was respect and kindness offered to everyone by everyone.I will plan a visit during a day when there are no celebration to experience the temple at a different light. Absolutely gorgeous and ornately decorated Hindu temple. I fell in love with the temple. I spent about 2-hours admiring its beauty and intricate details.Recommend arriving early morning. I got there at 10am, not too crowded. At 11am, the Mandir opened and at about 11:15am they held a religious prayer, about 15 minutes prayer. It was an unforgettable and cultural experience.To enter the stunning Madir/temple, you must cover your knees and shoulders, and remove shoes. No photos allowed inside the Mandir.The interior architecture of the Mandir is made of meticulously hand-carved details made of white Italian Carrara marble, and the exterior of the Mandir is made of Indian pink sandstone. Absolutely gorgeous carvings.I’m thankful that the temple is open to the public. The staff are extremely friendly!

I have lived like 20 minutes away from this beautiful temple. The structure is gorgeous😍 and so much peacefulness around this temple. The visit is free, do take socks, or sandal but you are asked to remove your shoes inside the temple. No pictures inside the temple. Around the walls youll find history of the making of the temple.

Amazing temple with great Indian architecture and carved figures all over the exterior stone structure exterior and superb marble columns and ceiling with fine carvings and artwork of our ancient history.Another amazing fact is that the temple is built on a seismic fault line and it’s foundation is specially designed to keep the temple safe even after a strong earthquake.The temple complex also has a shop offering variety of Indian packed snacks etc.The restaurant has thali and hot samosas, chai etc too, but they operate only from Thursday through Sunday only.

Words don’t do this temple justice. You need to come here in person. Robbinsville NJ.There is plenty of different food to eat here from Indian food to pizza, cookies, drinks.There are two temples here. You will most likely be here for about 2 to 3 hours if you’re going to eat here. Parking is free. Entry is free. But I think they started doing appointments to see the big temple in the back. You can go all the way inside the temple.

I understood the assignment.Read most of the reviews, went to the website. Braced for rude volunteers and bad food at the cafe. My family had a great time: serene, clean, quiet, stunning structures and guests, food was good, souvenirs ample, and friendly, watchful volunteers (no photos inside the mandir!). I was able to attend a 11:15 service. Gorgeous marble carvings throughout (encased in protective glass at touch level). Closed my eyes, the music brought me to tears, very cleansing. I enjoyed taking photos for >15 groups and pairs, and >50 of my own. Great way to spend 2-3 hours on Sunday and immerse in beauty, music (a fellow was playing a flute on the grounds--added to the beauty), and learn about the six swamis. Need to ditch the kids/teens to slowly soak in the experience. ;)

Ive driven by this place hundreds of times and finally decided last week to visit. The staff are welcoming so everyone is welcome to walk to the immediate outside of the temple, which is uniform in color but pretty. I enjoyed walking around the temple for around 15 minutes and other than that there isnt much to do if you dont plan on attending a service.Note that to go inside you must take off your shoes.

Incredible architecture!Such a peaceful and serene space for a temple that has nice guided tours available for great visitor inflow. All the volunteers and staff are polite and extremely helpful on any questions we have.It is important to note that Darshan (idols open for viewing or worship) is not available between 12-4 PM. So make sure you do not come during those times if you would like to look at the idols. But the rush isn’t bad so you can spend time looking at the architecture inside and outside the main mandir.Ample parking spots are available. They do have gift shops and cafe that offers decent vegetarian options for a quick bite. Exhibition also had the history of the building and brief explanations on the Hindu culture. And you can also book the place outside for hosting special events like weddings.If you are someone who loves ancient Indian architecture, this mandir is definitely for you.

Indian temples look big, but they are not. Only one main building can be visited.You have to take off your shoes and go up the steps, you cant wear shoes. The main building is open and has a time limit. It is best to check it before going, otherwise, if the main building is not open, it will be useless.There are 3 time slots per day. We stumbled upon this gem with the help of some reel on IG, on a weekend venture up to Chino we didn’t really have any expectations on what we were about to go see. The entire grounds was beautifully kept with the Mandir being immaculate, we gawked and wow’d over every carving and description present. Both inside and outside will leave you breathless! We were here for almost 2 hours. There’s a nice seating area just below the Mandir that lets you settle in and take in the space. Gift shop with some incredibly priced incense and a little food court section. Overall, this was a super nice visit and I can’t get over how beautiful it was!

Located off the 71 freeway in Chino Hills Baps is a Hindu Temple, open to all faiths.Pull up to the guard shack, you will be given a map and parking is free.Check into the visitors center, building A.We were given some information about the property and information regarding the temple. There is not an entrance fee, but there are donation boxes throughout. There is a short video about Baps, Hinduism and the property.The visitors center is where the gift shop is located, and the gift shop is connected to the cafe. The restrooms are also inside this building.Very important that you take off your shoes and leave them in a cubby in the marble benches at the bottom of the stairs. No shoes allowed inside of the temple.We were there on a weekday around 3:30. We were told to be in the temple by 4:00pm to see the inside doors open, it seemed to be a worship ceremony? It was beautiful, although I don’t know what it was. The inside of the temple looks like a palace, it’s stunning. Unfortunately no photos are allowed inside of the temple.Afterwards we went downstairs, to another room, where you are given a small pot of water to pour upon the head of a golden statue. You hold the pot make you wish and pour with the right hand.It is so peaceful and the energy is so positive. We were welcomed by everyone and encouraged to return. I went to take pictures. I left feeling spiritually recharged.Definitely a positive experience and I would return again if I’m nearby

Please visit their website for rules and guidelines, or simply ask the help at the entrance gate. There is plenty of parking surrounding the building. Access is free and there is parking on site. However, there are certain holidays and religious gatherings that may occur, so you may want to or need to check their calendar before visiting, just in case. Their visitors cebter has even more beautiful architecture, and it is made primarily of wood, so try to visit their visitors center as well, if you can.

Hindu temple with a visitor center/cafe there open to the public. Entrance is free and parking is available on-premise. No advance reservations are required. You have to check in at the front when parking and one person in your party will receive a wristband when checking in at the visitor center. No large purses or backpacks are allowed. Kids are allowed. Photography is allowed outside but not within the Mandir. It was cool to see the Mandir, which had very intricate architecture and was funded via public donations( note silence is required). You can’t wear shoes in the Mandir either so I’d suggest wearing socks, as the shoe cubbies are located outside at the bottom of the stairs, and you’ll need to walk across the concrete.

This sacred space was entirely welcoming to tourist admiring the intricately sculptural Hindu architecture and the cultural contribution the religious-spiritual organization provided for the Swaminarayan faithful in Southern California. The temple complex is situated conveniently on the east side of HWY 71 near Central Ave. exit which makes for a scenic drive going north bound. I am in constant awe and arresting admiration of the laboriously skillful carvings of the sandstone façade and the cool marble interior of the Mandir building. Also, the Visitor Center building is constructed/decorated in wood carvings of ornately geometrical motif with emphasis on symmetry throughout. The beautiful BAPS center is one of two locations in Southern California that Ive visited. As a secular visitor, I felt light, peaceful and in the moment when I left the temple. Its been a joyful meditative stroll around the campus amongst great architecture and craftsmanship and the devotees. 🙏

Another surprise gem hidden in Chino. This is quite a marvelous sight to see and explore. While the temple itself is the main attraction, with its large fountain and marble interior and sandstone walkways, it also includes a beautiful wooden carved visitor center and cafe.There’s plenty of informational material to learn about the culture and history which was surprisingly easy to follow and read through.I would easily want to return again during sunset hour for a different view altogether.Parking is free and plentiful and there’s restrooms on site as well.

A beautiful temple 🛕.....As an Indian Hindu 🕉 I was delighted and humbled at the same time, when we visited this temple. The temple has a huge campus. Ample of parking. There is a huge foundation in front of the temple. The temple is two storey high with beautifully decorated staircase to go up there. There is a small idol of swami Narayan ji in the base of the temple. The whole temple is beautifully decorated with carvings in red stone from outside and white marble from inside. There is a separate hall for swami jis books, literature and souvenirs. The main temple has beautiful marble idols of Lord Krishna, Godess Rukmini, Balarama, Lord Shiva, Parvati and Ganesha. We lucky we could catch the aarati...🙏🙏 Also sacred bands were tied on our wrists. We also did abhishek on swami Narayan jis idol. There is a restaurant down there which sells Indian sweets, delicacies and also serves Indian gujrati and Punjabi thalis at reasonable rates. So a beautiful experience for All hindu devotees.....🕉🚩🚩🙂🙂

This place is BEAUTIFUL!! If you think the outside is awesome, wait until you check out the inside of the temple. Make sure to check out the visiting hours, make sure you wear clothes that covers your shoulders and legs, or they’ll ask you to put on some special garments. You can pay $5 for an audio tour, other wise it’s free entry they just ask for donations at a donation box. There’s no professional photography allowed, and absolutely no interior photography allowed (which sucks) but you can take your cellphone with you and get pix on the outside of the buildings.

Make time to visit this place once if youre near by.Ive been here 5x, with friends and family and visitors. Always know where to take my guests around when they are here for a visit and the temple cant go wrong.I was here when the exhibit on the ground floor was still open. Now, it is closed for renovation. The Madir is on the 2nd floor, a place for meditation and statues of their gods. When entering the building, shoes need to be off, place on the shelf. You can go up the stair or the elevator, shoes off.Be quiet, respect others, dont touch, put your phone away in the bag, pocket, whatever so it is not visible to the volunteer. My dad had his phone around his wrist, turned off, the man came to me demanding to put in my bag. OK.My 1st visit, i was wearing a skirt hang below the knee but above ankle..i was given a wrap to wear to cover my legs...OK.2nd visit was with a friend, he loves taking pictures, warned him no picture but he wont listen. Busted by the man, demand to delete all the pictures inside the Madir..OK.Why do I still visit this place? Well it is beautiful, FREE!! Just follow direction and youre OK😁😉Next, the Egyptian Building is only 4 mins away..so stop by there and tell ppl u been to India and Egypt lol

The Chino Hills BAPS Swaminarayan Temple is an intricately detailed and extremely beautiful hindu Temple. Guests are welcome during the daily visiting hours, and you do not need to be Swaminarayan to come visit for free. It is best to come in the evening, near sunset time so you can appreciate the beauty during daylight and during the night when it is lit up. The atmosphere is very peaceful. There is not much information about regular prayer. Also there is a store and small restaurant on site for Gujarati snacks and food, as wells as one for religious items such as deity figures.

This is one of the largest Hindu temples in USA. Highlight is of course the sandstone temple structure and all of the carvings and designs in and around the temple. English names are inscribed below the major Hindu gods. Before entering the temple structure, you should wear conservative clothes and take off your shoes. One on my favorites places close to LA, in the city of Chino. It is a sacred place of the Indian Community and that is the reason you should respect their rules there. The temple was made in India for artesans and building in LA. You can visit inside, it is amazing! You can’t take pictures inside and something they have religious ceremonies that you can be part if you follow their instructions. One of best temples with beautiful architecture and intricate details.The temple is open until 7.30pm and the cafeteria closes at 7.00 pm. Theres variety of food in the cafeteria and lot of Indian snacks and sweets to choose from. Usually the aarthi starts at 6.45pm and ends at 7.15pm.

I had a wonderful experience and spent 2 hours participating in the ceremony and going through the mini museum. The staff I spoke to were friendly and knowledgeable who guided me through the entire process. Even though at times I felt out of place they made me feel comfortable and informed me about the place. This place is definitely worth visiting.

This is a well developed, well organized and wellmanaged temple. People are nice and so is the architecture. They also serve traditional Indian food. If you happen to be from Gujarat or like food from that region you are in luck. This place has it all. This temple is absolutely stunning! Its my second time going and I loved it even more- they have a nice grocery store, a visitor center, and the people working there are so kind. Beautiful Hindu temple in Chino Hills. Love the architecture. The volunteers there are super friendly and always willing to share their stories and the details of how the temple was built. Avoid visiting from 12 PM to 4 PM as the temple is closed (however, you can still see the temple from outside). Wearing modest clothes is highly encouraged.PS: The cafe within the temple premises is definitely worth visiting. They have a wide variety of freshly prepared Indian snacks and sweets (loved the Kaju Katli and Gaathiya). They also have food options such as Pav Bhaji, Thali and Chole Bhature for a reasonable price.

Jay Swaminarayan....Amazing! Great Hindu temple.I visited many such Shri Swaminarayan temples in India but this is spicial. Once you arrive at this temple on-site parking is free. You can enter thru visiting center. Temple is really beautiful from inside and out as well. I like murti ( God / Goddess / Saint Statues) much, perfect proportion. We attended aarti at 11:20 am, which was really good to do. Peaceful place. There is shop at visiting center to buy item for prayers, verity of snake or food. Jay Swaminarayan! Jay Shri Krishna!

Amazing clean place for praying and enjoying with kids. Very calm and peaceful place. You can meditate here as well. Amazing atmosphere and lots of community support. Food is served here too, although not free. But everything is homemade, and without onion, garlic. Great experience with family.

This place is a must see for people who love history and Eastern history art. The Hindu temple is an exquisite architecture. The buildings are carved exquisitely and quite detailed. Its an hour and half drive from San Diego, roughly 110 miles. If you have never been to any hindu temple then this is it! I have been to couple of BAPS temples in the east coast and the structural design is the same in all the places! I chose to visit in the late noon or just when it was about to get dark so that I could capture some of the best pictures and I can say that I was not disappointed! Just be mindful of what you are wearing inside the temple premises (shorts and skirts are not allowed - sorry ladies). There is a cafe inside the property which provides various indian snacks and food items. A glimpse of Indian culture and heritage. Enjoy!

Quite a spectacular in construction built on the land prone to earth quakes to be resitant to it. A beautiful sculptured temple the inside is made of complete white marble (from Turkey, Italy and India) and the exterior is sculptured with red sand stone imported from Rajasthan, the main temple spread across am acre piece of land. It is near chino hills and hemce attracts a lot of tourists. The temples canteen/kitcgem serves a lpt of indian food and prasadams at reasonable price. It has a very good musical fountain installed in fron of the temple. You cam easily spend two to three hours if you are spiritual, religious and a food hunk.

Very humiliating experience. Condemnation for having a christian cross tattoo from the head of board of directors. Some kind of condemnation is taught and not forgiveness at this temple. Majestic architecture and peaceful place. Best time to visit is an hour or two before sunset so you can see the temple in day light as well as during and after sunset with the colorful shadow of lights. Food court visit is a must. Saw people easily filling up their baskets with variety of snacks so did we. In snack we loved their Khaman (Dhokla), Chiwda, Jalebi. Chole Bhature was good.

Went with a few of my friends to BAPS Shri Swaminaraya Temple in Chino Hills at 3pm with plenty of time to see the gods at 4pm did some Indian food shopping and at 5:15pm enjoyed the sunset glow on the pink marble building. Its intriquet wood carving in the visitor center and carved marble in the temple are unimaginable. You have see it since they dont allow photos inside the temple.

Great little gem of a place in Chino Hills. Beautiful architecture and intricate designs on the inside and out.You cannot take photos inside any of the buildings but outside you can snap away. There were some barriers in front of the water pool when I went but it didnt detract too much of the view.I didnt realize until I was leaving that water shot up from the water pool. This place is a sight to behold! Its massive and spectacular. The entire Temple is hand carved in India from teak wood, marble and sandstone. The pieces were then shipped here and assembled. The temple complex is still under construction but the visitor center and the Temple itself are open. Once you enter, you need to register at the visitor center, which itself is magnificent. Then I would suggest visiting the temple (remember to remove your shoes prior to entering). The interior of the temple is entirely made of hand carved marble. The idols cannot be viewed between noon and 4pm but the rest of the temple is accessible. Below the temple is a information center. One can also see some of the stabilizers that make the temple earthquake proof. I would recommend going back to the visitor center which has a souvenir shop. Various idols, books, gift items etc are sold there at very reasonable prices. Attached to it is the cafeteria/canteen which serves lunch/snacks and there are pre packaged snacks you can buy as well. All the food sold there is vegetarian. We had lunch thali which is extremely filling and very tasty. Overall this place is a must visit if you live around here or are visiting the area.

Its taken a few days to wrap my head around the experience of visiting this temple. The art in the wood and marble carvings is sacred. And just when you think its all the same you see nuisances and realize its not coming from some cookie cutter, each and everything is unique. I appreciated the use of a sarong and the overall welcome I received. I wish to see the fountains but Im assuming that is on hold while we endure another drought year. The gift store was cool, picked up a bell. Also got to pour water onto a Godhead statue, I felt some serious mojo from that!
