Product gets five stars. After install noticeable difference in engine pitch upon acceleration, doesn’t sound boggy. You can literally feel the throttle gain and turbo spool quicker. If you are doing the install make sure you have some angle head open end wrenches. That line five and six is not easy to get to. Took me longer than the six hours but after knowing the right tools to have it’s an easy 4-6 hour job.

Heres my story.I got a 2022 ram 3500 cummins 4x4. I bought the air horn intake, the boost tubes, and new air intake tube. After a little while I got an error code p0402 and some others. The codes in general are saying the system is seeing more air flow then expected which makes sense. Therere also people online who have expressed having the same issues.After talking with the people at banks they offered me a refund if I returned the parts which after all this effort getting the parts on is not really an option to me.I appreciate that theyd be willing to offer a refund but Id rather them sell these products with a warning that this error is common and they have no way of fixing it at this moment.I like the parts, I like the company, but i wish somethings were better conveyed.

2022 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. Installed the Banks CAI, boost tubes, monster ram intake, and the pedal monster. Purchase was smooth, shipping was faster than expected, quality of parts seem good. Only downside is the constant check engine light for a P0402 code that I now have. Spoke with Banks and they are aware, but the fix has been in work for a long time now....Please make it right Banks! 3 Stars until its fixed.

After installation I have been very happy with the performance and cleaner burning engine. Installation was a challenge as the directions were not perfect for my pickup. Thanks to YouTube and the directions I was able to complete the install. I deleted all the emissions apparatus. So, this caused some head scratching due to holes remaining unused. The throttle response is phenomenal and Im getting over 20 mpg empty on the highway. Not bad for a 3500.

I had a 2022 Chevy 2500 High Country with just the tune and throttle Monster, WOW, loved it. That was all I did to it as I was waiting for new 2024 High Country in Red as the the 2022 was Silver, and was ordered by some once else, but I needed it right away. I have since patiently waiting for the tune. While waiting, I installed the larger inter-cooler tubes, moved the throttle monster over, installed 3 idash it was great. But then they came out with the intake air horn. OMG, no turbo lag, instant power, really fills like 30+ more horsepower. Great job guys. Seriously looking into traction bars soon, before I break something. If the new tune is close to what the 2022 had I might start looking into street legal slicks. I cant stop pushing the go pedal, to feel the rush.

I purchased the cold air intake tube with washable filter beautiful fit and finish. I saw no reason to put the factory butterfly air damper thing back so I omitted it. The other thing about the kit . Banks needs to include coarse screens to keep rodents out . I created patterns and pop riveted them on my self . Otherwise makes for a great mouse house!! Slight difference in sound inside the truck, not bad. Cant believe how restricted the stock part was compared to the banks part. Saw 1 more mile per gal. Increase! And of course no more expenses on paper air filters!Highly recommend this part.

Where do I start when it comes to Banks Power and the legend himself, Mr. Gale Banks? You guys are the absolute kings when it comes to automotive power and modification. I recently bought my dream truck, a 2024 RAM 2500 with that 6.7 L Cummins Turbo Diesel! You guys are helping all of my dreams come true by hooking it up with a Banks Pedal Monster, a Ram-Air Intake, and a bunch of accessories and merchandise to rep the Banks brand. When I was younger Id always watch Mr. Banks and his videos on YouTube. I dreamed of one day being able to put Banks parts on my truck. That day is now here. Yall helping this Midwestern boys dreams come true and I appreciate it more than you can imagine. I recently moved from Wisconsin, where I lived all 28 years of my life, to Arizona. 2020 Ram 2500 6.7LIve seen a big improvement in the truck since installing the monster ram and turbo tubes. First I’d like to say, I grew up with the Banks name and as soon as I could, I began purchasing Banks equipment. I’ve still got a bolt on twin turbo system in box waiting for the right car. I bought everything Banks makes for my 2018 Ram 3500! And I loved everything. Then began buying Banks for my wife’s truck.However, then came time to clean the cold air intake….I found it has been designed so that I have to take the entire thing apart just to get to the air filter for cleaning. Why? Who would do that? How is that efficient?Then the Ram EPA recall. Instantly after the reprogramming, I’m continually getting an exhaust service required message. When I contacted Banks about it, they admitted 2019’s and newer are affected, but claimed (because no one else has called in about it) that it can’t be their air intake affecting the new EPA system in 4th Gen’s.And finally, I and many many others have been waiting for the Ram Derringer that’s been promised for over 6 yrs now. Other companies (Edge) now have a 50 state complaint programmer for Ram. Why not BANKS? And as they are not compatible, my Banks equipment is now a hindrance until the Ram Derringer is released.Come on Carol Banks, do better.

Had a Monster Ram installed on my 2015 3500 at their facility. Nothing but professional and my truck has better throttle response and slightly better mpg (plus no dreaded heater bolt anxiety). Just wish the cold air intake they make had better access to the filter. I trust Banks.

Ordered a monster ram for my 2012 ram 3500. Shipping took about a week for me to get it. Install instructions were clear and detailed. Kit came with everything needed. Down to zip ties. Biggest improvement I noticed is low engine rpms. My truck is a manual transmission and starting in second gear doesnt bog the engine down near as much as the stock intake. Very happy with the performance.

Bought the monster ram intake for my 2016 3500.Had a shop here in Oregon do the install. Ive noticed an increase in throttle response and =1 mpg increase.Also my 1st gen 1990 250 still runs well with the improvements Ive done from Banks.

Purchased a Monster-Ram and Inter-cooler piping from Banks, both kits went in per the instructions. The Monster-Ram installation is not for every DIYer but is not complicated if you have the tools or can borrow them. My MPG actually did get better, from 17 to 18 on the highway to 19-20 on the highway, not towing. I also have a Banks AutoMind and have my tune set for Work. I appreciate Banks and the engineering that they put into their products. Next purchase, Banks rear differential cover...

Last week 7/13 I installed a ram air intake system on my 17 Ram gen 4 4x4 6.7. Some have said this was easy while others say its very difficult. I found very difficult to be the case! However in fairness I am 78 and it is a tall truck. Pride ruled the day+ install and with good directions from Banks I won the battle. It performed very well, although I did not get that much sought after turbo whine. It really cleaned up the look of the intake system and engine compartment overall.On 7/15 my son in law and I installed the monster ram intakewith the help of well written instructions I printed and made a manual to guide us with removal and installation. I found this jobto be easy with proper tools and good help. We started at 7 AMand finished by 1 PM. It runs and looks great and no error codes.went for a 120 mile Saturday and had a 1.5 MPG milage increasein mountain driving. This ThursdayI will be installing a pedal monster system, cant wait! I bought the Monster Ram simply as a performance/fuel economy increase. While talking with the very helpful customer service I found out about the killer bolt issue before it became a widely known issue. Needless to say I was quite happy to eliminate the bolt issues before it became a bigger problem. I have recommended this Monster Ram to everyone that I have met with a 6.7 Cummins.Add in the Banks boost tubes and the Banks air intake for a noted fuel mileage increase and better throttle response. As a bonus you get a small amount of turbo whistle.Only small downside to the Monster Ram is cold weather starting. I have one of the earlier versions of the coil heater. On the coldest days -40 it would require 2 cycles of the key to improve starting. Very small issue compared to a broken bolt and $15k motor.I heard Banks was working on a new version of the coil heater but I have had no reason to follow up with that since I installed a Webasto on my truck.

We drank the Banks cool aid a long time ago starting with our 1995 class C motor home with the Banks headers. It fixed the issue and it was a great experience. Through the years have bought other items for a 2006 Jeep TJ, my wife’s 1998.5 Dodge 2500 5.9 Cummins. When we purchase our 2019 Ram 3500 6.7 Cummins in December, Banks was the only place I looked for mods. Purchased the rear differential cover and the Ram-Air Intake system and Monster-Ram Intake System W/Fuel Line. Did not know anything about the killer heater nut at the time but it was a great mod and directions to install we spot on. We purchased our 4-horse trailer in January of 2023 and that is when we started seeing the EGR ‘A’ flow excessively detected. Code goes away when not pulling trailer, the code never happens when I put back the original air box. Repeated calls to Banks engineering resulted in a letter asking for assistance, that was never answered, and a disgruntled wife when a Banks employee told her that Banks just received a big contract, and they did not have time for us. Maybe they have gotten too big for the people who helped them get that contract. Just purchased the iDash and Stealth pod for the Ram and am still looking for the promised tuner, because like I said the cool aid is good.

Install was a little complex on 2013, but give yourself some time & follow the instructions & it isnt to bad. Parts and installation were great, but help with crankcase ventilation code they were little help with no solutions. Continues with it throwing the code and trying to solve the problem on my own. I now carry a code reader to clear the code in my truck.

I recently purchased a new air intake from Banks. Installed it yesterday and am happy with the results. Installation was pretty straightforward, instructions were decent, the product looks great and performs as it should. The price was pretty fair in comparison to other kits but if you keep an eye on their website you can usually catch them running a sale or some sort of discount, which any money saved is always nice. I am hoping they release more products for the ‘22+ Ford Superduty diesels. Hopefully soon they will get the Derringer released, I am looking forward to that addition. I will update this review with any other products I get from them. But so far so good . Below is a before and after of the install.

I placed an order for an in stock Intake Monday 4-5-24 before Banks even opened and they did not ship until Wednesday 4-7-24 Called and spoke with Customer Service and they simply said you can return with a restocking fee if you’re not happy. Not the way I hoped to start my dealings with BanksThank you for responding. I would not have worried if the tracking info sent to me didn’t say Monday delivery. Friday is fine and what was expected. Ive had your system for a couple of years and been happy with it, but my i dash pod, turns its self-off quite often, wonder why? just installed the intake system. Like the growl sound my engine makes, can hear the turbo. I have a 2018 Duramax GMC. and the pedal monster is great, no more waiting for the motor to respond. Just installed map sensor spacer, couldnt believe how plugged up my sensor was, couldnt even see what was under all the black soot. Must have been getting much worse performance. So alls well, except the pod turning its self-off. D Coats

Recently ordered an iDash from amazon and did not receive the OBD2 connector for the unit. At first I thought someone had forgotten to ship it or I got scammed. Only to find out it was totally my fault I purchased an expansion kit to add on to existing iDash units. No worries at all for banks even with it being my fault after explaining to me what I needed instead they shipped me a new OBD2 cable without hesitation. Excited to start monitoring things on my Duramax and look forward to adding banks products to my truck in the future.

Installed the monster ram on my 22 2500 cummins. Took 8ish hours. Couple minor hiccups on my end. Overall first test drive noticed power increase and better boost responses. I did the install mainly to delete the faulty grid heater problem before it bit me. Overall Im pleased with the product. Will be looking to add future products and reviews as I Install them.

Since the install, Ive noticed a little more hesitation starting on very cold mornings, and have cycled the pre-heat twice to overcome this. Havent noticed any boost in power or mileage, but these things arent the main reason I bought the system. Im happy because I no longer have to worry about that pre-heat system nut burning off and destroying my engine and my investment.Im now considering the Banks cold air intake system.............

Bought the sidewinder kit for my 94 7.3 idiAbsolutely terrible fitment on everything, parts came dirty with grease and metal shavings inside especially around threaded holes. I had to drill out the exhaust studs because they didn’t line up. Not to mention the hole exhaust is just from the turbo because again fitment issues. Anti-depression valve doesn’t even seat on the intake elbow leaving a big gap hahaStuffs trash wouldn’t recommend major pain in the you know what plus no support over the phone they just talk to you like you’re stupid

Purchased a Pedal Monster for my 22 Toyota 4runner. In the beginning it worked flawlessly, except for when towing my small ATV utility trailer. My transmission would constantly shift (at a very fast pace) between 4 & 5th gear while the Pedal Monster was working, not so when disconnected....I TRIED NUMEROUS RESETS. I contacted Banks Customer Service a couple months back, a Rep answered the phone but wouldnt give me his name, he stated that I would need to do a reset... I told him that I had reset it several times meeting with negative results. He began to argue with me about asking about a possible software update to my unit, soon he became condescending and rude, still refusing to give me his name, I ended the call.... My Pedal Monster now hangs on my Peg-board in my garage like a skeleton.

Well at first glance pretty disappointed. Working on a project truck of mine and ordered a bank’s intake for it. Opened the box today to find out that I’m missing parts / it doesn’t come with the rubber couplers that holds the intake tube together! I gave them the benefit of the doubt at first, though maybe someone accidentally forgot to put some pieces in the box. But no.Opened the installation manual and in the general assembly diagram it basically says the four pieces I’m missing are not included. So they’re going to sale a complete intake kit but not give you all the parts.To be honest I thought ordering banks products were supposed to be a cut above the rest. Really disappointed, I will be returning my order.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received from your company. As a diesel mechanic, I recently ordered parts for a job and received the incorrect ones. When I attempted to exchange the parts, I was informed by customer support that they were unwilling to assist me as they wanted to leave work early. This occurred on a Friday morning, well before the end of the business day.I am disappointed that your company prioritizes the convenience of its employees over the needs of its customers. The incorrect parts have caused a significant delay in my work and have resulted in financial losses for my business and the willingness to drive 45 minutes to pick up the correct part.For all the constant bashing you do to your competition, it appears your effort would be better spent improving your own company.

I’ve bought many products from Banks Power! They r my brand! I’ve never had an issue with any of the many products I have purchased from them. Everything has went above and beyond my expectations, from performance to durability to style and profile I have been very pleased until my Banks Derringer tuner started acting up and throwing codes on my 2019 L5P Duramax, causing the truck to go into limp mode. After troubleshooting the issue myself and reading blog after blog without any luck I decided to contact Banks Power to see what we could do.(I had spent almost 1000 bucks on the tuner kit and felt like that was a lot of money not to at least try n find a solution) Customer service was second to none! A Mr. Steve Elliot was quick to get in touch with me and after a brief rundown and troubleshoot Steve decided to replace my Derringer tuner with a new one. He asked that I remove the tuner from service and when my new one came in that I send the one i had back so they could troubleshoot the tuner and see what could be done better for later products and models. All that being said I am not technology friendly but Mr. Steve’s quick and painless customer service was above and beyond and just excellent. He knew the product and was quite knowledgeable. I felt like he needed to be mentioned alongside Banks Power because without their employees Banks Power wouldn’t be “The Brand” nor would they sell vary many products! Atta’boy Steve! Thank you for the superb customer service experience!

Horrible place, no store. You cant even walk in to talk to anybody for parts or installation. Nothing is done at this location. They need to take these pics and everything off of google. They just lost a potential customer.Update/response: i will say that if google is the one in control of pictures, then i am sorry. It was a little misleading of a store type of scenario for customers to come in and ask questions about the products. Im sure Banks does very well, but with both positive and negative reviews online on youtube and diesel forums, there is no face to face value on sales and information that is just simply over the phone quality. For beginners learning how to make quality production come out of their vehicles, we would like to talk to professionals face to face. Its almost like anything else you buy, yes there is a lot online or over the phone but to be able to see things infront of you and get that face to face interaction makes it a lot easier to understand. Unfortunately, today, there is no accountability of someones word. Thats why i like to shop in person to physically see and interact with what im getting. Thats not Banks, and thats ok. First time ordering from this company. Not sure what to think. I placed the order and it stated it would ship in 5-7 days, it still hasnt shipped (8 days later) and no one is answering the phone or texts at the company, even though Im reaching out during normal business hours. I ordered it as a Christmas gift and will be cancelling if it doesnt arrive before then. Very disappointed in the customer service so far. I will update again if they decide to answer their phone or respond to the text.Company did respond within a day, I didnt realize we were on different time zones. I do realize with the holidays orders can be backed up. With that being said, I want to thank Banks Power for the follow up and for putting a rush on my order. So i have had nothing but a great experience with banks. I’ll start with. I had an issue with one of my couplers on my boost tubes. The issue I had was the center coupler continued to blow off during high boost and my truck would not go into regen. I posted on a Facebook group with my issue. And it about an hour An individual that works for banks reached out to me on his day off to help me with my issue. He sat on the pho with me for an hour to get my truck to go in to regen and explain a lot of stuff to help me understand what was going on with my truck. After that over the next couple weeks he helped me figure out the coupler issue. My coupler continued to blow off and once while I was hauling my camper. He would continue to contact me even on the weekends to help. In the end he ordered a new coupler and sent them to me over night. Banks is still working with me to make sure my issue is resolved. I say all this to tell you buying aftermarket parts can have issues ( nothing is perfect) but the people at banks have gone above and beyond to help me with my situation. I would recommend anyone to purchase parts from them. Their products are top notch and if there is ever an issue they will work with you to make it right.

I bought the banks intercooler set up assuming it would fit my truck but their intercooler is set up for 2 plenums and my truck is set up for 3 plenums. They usually charge a 20% restocking fee but in my situation they offered a full refund. There was some confusion with the descriptions and returns but they offered a full refund in the end and stuck by it. They make some of the best parts on the market, just a mix up with some things. Awesome experience with Banks Powers!I needed technical support for my Idash. There wasnt anything wrong with the Idash at all. I had my Idash for a while and waited to upload the new updates to the unit that came out for my truck. Well after a few times trying to insert the micro SD card in the Idash my fat fingers broke half the micro SD car in half in the unit. I learned about the Pedal Monster and Derringer with iDash in a Facebook group and thought I would give it a try. I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Diesel. I cannot say enough about how well this works. The Pedal Monster takes away any lag off of the line and the power increase in the Derringer is amazing. I received my Banks exhaust system quickly. I did not install it myself because of some physical limitations, but had it installed at a local muffler shop. I have a banks derringer on my ‘16 F-250 6.7 diesel. This has been by far the best exhaust intact system I’ve used. The mpg increase is as good as your going to get with dpf intact. I don’t recommend their products. They can cause issues in new vehicles and they don’t support you. I bought a pedal monster for a 2021 GMC Sierra. It caused my Ecu (computer) to go out. GM mentioned possibly voiding my Warranty, so I had to pay for new ECU, even though truck was under warranty. Well, I dont normally leave negative reviews, but I’m at the point where I don’t know what else to do.I’ve had a Banks Six-Gun on my 2002 F-350 7.3 since 2008. Unfortunately, I live in Commiefornia and can’t move out of this oppressive rats nest for another 4 years.This wonderful state now makes us get our diesels smog tested every 2 years. Which is ridiculous. So far, I haven’t had any issues in the numerous times I’ve had it smogged, until now. The smog place (who has passed the vehicle every time for years in the past) now says that they need an E.O. Sticker or some kind of proof that my product is CARB compliant. Not a big deal.So I call Banks right here in Azusa Cali. The first time, they said they would call me back. That didn’t happen. Second time, I called and spoke to a nice gentleman who took down my info and assured me that he would mail me the E.O. Sticker. It has been almost three weeks. Today I call again. Customer service wait times are about 45 minutes, so I leave my info for a call-back. They called me back and I still had to wait another 24 minutes. Nice lady takes my call-back info and tells me someone would contact me. I’m not holding my breath.My next move is to drive down there and see if I can get any help in person.I cant Imagine so many folks would be calling customer service that it would take hours to get in touch with someone. But, who knows. Maybe.If you need customer service, be forewarned. You’re going to have better luck contacting the astronauts on the Space Station.Great products. Erick did a great job getting parts for my 12 valve. Very knowledgeable about his products. I didnt get them to install the parts because they were busy. Ended up getting Redlands Motorsports to do the install.

Excellent service and great parts! Sooo easy to install these things, about 20 minutes or less for the airbox and less than an hour easy for the intake. Turned the truck back to winter temperature power. Uses less boost and load on the highway for the same speeds. More fuel efficient and more powerful. Going to get the turbo downpipe and intercooler next!

I have followed Gale Banks for a long time, when I purchased my first diesel (lml Duramax) I decided I would only use Banks Power parts on it, so far I have installed a Ram Air cold air intake and the IDash Data Monster guage, I am going to upgrade with the l5p engine oil cooler kit in the next couple days, all the stuff they make is super high quality and relentlessly researched and designed, to call Gale an engineer is the understatement of the century and Steve is one of the most helpful people I have ever talked to
