I love the team at Banfield La Verne, including Dr. Nguyen, Edith, and Manny. They care for my fur babies and provide personal and loving treatment when providing routine examinations, preventative care, as well as additional emergency services. They are also customer service oriented and they know how to work with even the most nervous fur baby parents. Thank you for all you do Banfield team La Verne! I highly recommend them for all your fur babies medical care needs and prevention.

Amily is great. Lilo had a serious allergic reaction to chicken and beef dry food. She recommended taking meds for weeks and getting salmon dry food. Fully recovered and happy!

We love Banfield. My fur baby Bud is super excited when we come for his wellness program. He loves the staff and I do too. Between my family we have 6 dogs on Optima plus program and everyone is happy. 2paws up

Got my kitten spayed here, and one of the questions asked was if I wanted to upgrade the surgical scalpel to a safer more precise blade, for around an extra 250. This did not feel ethical at all and just felt like a money grab. It really feels like a place that does not care for your pets at all, just the money. Made sure to cancel my membership and wont be returning my business here ever.

Super under staffed and over booked.Never book anything on Sunday or the weekend in general.I will be moving to a different banfield from now on. Or just canceling my wellness plan altogether.They are not a discount vet, you can get better personal service from any other vet.They do standard procedures for your pets and dont read over their individual conditions. The vet tech or doctor was supposed to call to discuss treatment, but after 2 hours I called and the vet tech said they already did tests that I never agreed on and are charging me for me. And he was out of breath and stuttering a little. They are overwhelmed. They need a bigger facility or more staff.1st time I had issues was when they asked me to drop off my 13 year old Addisonian dog in first thing in the morning... and after all day of her sitting in a cage, no one had even seen her when I called at 5pm later that day. That shouldve been the red flag that stopped me but they promised that it wouldnt happen again. Now I sit in my car waiting for over 2 hours for a shot that takes literally 10 minutes anywhere else.I would not recommend.Had 6 clients in the lobby when the sign says limited to 2.

Friendly Staff, very welcoming, I took my dog to get his nails trimmed. I would like to especially thank Paula for going above and beyond her job duties. Today my dog Ruffus got loose while I was trying to put him into my Jeep. Through the glass window Paula saw and immediately ran to help me with a Banfield leash, running with me and stopping cars, I almost thought I would never see him again. As Paula handed Ruffus to me she told him, “ Good Bye Ruffus, be good and nice to your mom”. She then asked me if I was O.K. Since I fell running after him. Thank you Banfield staff and Paula for helping me catch and save my dogs life.

Dr Harvey is an outstanding Veterinarian. She is highly qualified, knowledgeable, experienced, caring, and flexible. We won’t trust any other veterinarian with our dogs.

The whole crew in La Verne is absolutely fantastic. They love my kitties like I do and I can always trust them to take good care of my babies even if that means they arent able to complete everything needed because my cat has reached her tolerance limit. Great group! Highly recommend.

Great place, knowledgeable and caring staff, and a clean well kept facility. Have been to several vets in the past and by far, this is one of the best. Used to be a very SOLID 5 star rating. Lately, it seems way understaffed, check-ins are longer, and service/check-out wait times have almost tripled. Scheduled an appointment for one shot and was told our dog would receive it from vet tech and we would be in and out. When we arrived, we were told it would be a minimum 2hrs because vet tech was assisting the only doctor with 4 surgeries. Front desk checked with the on-site vet tech and confirmed 2 hour time frame. Then tried to check on status after waiting 5 hours and no one answers the phone. I really like Banfield and hope this is just a one time issue.***update*** check in and check out have dramatically improved. Dont care for one particular front desk female, she is snooty and condescending.***update*** check in and check out went great. Caring and knowledgeable staff. Only issue is that they try to upsell worse than a car salesman! What am I paying monthly for if everything is a recommendation. If its so highly recommended, why isnt it include in the priciest wellness plan?

Great location! Although they are a busy, they are also passionate, and diligent. We always feel the care they provide our pup, and our doggo feels it too. Our concerns are always address right here.I have used several other locations (Walnut, Covina, and West Covina) and this is by far my favorite. The level of care stands out.I would like to note that they are a busy location, so schedule and plan accordingly.On my most recent visit, it was visible that more staff was needed. They team there handled the rush like pros! However, working in that type of environment can lead to quick employee burn out. Nonetheless, great work guys! We appreciate you taking care of our little boy!

Super friendly and helpful staff. I called during an emergency with my dog and they stayed calm with me on the phone, had me bring my dog in ASAP and gave her amazing care. Ashley and Phil provided excellent customer service and Dr. V was incredible with her patience, explained everything clearly and thoroughly, answered all of my questions and really took the time to provide top notch medical care for my dog. I will definitely be going back to this Banfield.

The staff here is absolutely amazing. They are always so friendly and patient with everyone. Phone ringing off the hook but they always get to you in a timely manner. Dr. Nguyen is very caring and supportive. Annaylece Brockham especially was fantastic with Stella. I rested easy knowing she was in good hands.

The staff is very compassionate. Had to send my girl over the rainbow bridge. They made it less traumatic on all of us. We didnt have to use your personal vehicle or send her in alone. My son and I were able to say good-bye without being rushed. I would highly recommend their services.

I went there to discuss getting an appointment for my Aunties dog, our dog now, because she passed on July 5th at the age of 92. Rocky has been on Trifexis which is a once a month pill for flea & tick control & also a heartworm preventative which is very important because we live in the mountains. He would be due for his monthly dose in a few days & we figured he would have to be examined before they would dispense the medicine. The receptionist said they wouldnt have any appointments available until November unless we wanted to drop him off at the clinic in the morning the following week. Not very accommodating & why would we even consider dropping him off at a strange place, leaving him there for hours when hes already traumatized because his owner just passed away, hes getting used to living in another house & just leaving him there would just be on the cruel side. I explained that to the gal & it didnt phase her a bit. She said we were welcome to check other Banfield Pet Hospitals in the area to see if they had appointments available. However, she couldnt provide me with any phone numbers or locations & that I would just have to look them up on the internet. That girl needs some schooling in the compassion department.

Banfield used to be a favorite place to take our 3 dogs for vaccinations and medical issues.I can not recommend them for our pet needs. They used to have several vets working there and they were open 7 days a week. Now there is only 1 vet and they are closed on Sunday.Our Maltipoo recently had an ear infection and we had to wait 8 days for the vet to see him! They also now try very hard to upsale treatments and are not necessary.We have already switched 2 of our dogs to a different clinic and we are not renewing our monthly contract for our Maltipoo once his contract is over.

Over the last year when we bring our pet to this office ( with a appointment for a Pacific time it takes 2-3 hours) when before half the time was needed for the vet. to determine what needs to be done I just saying better time managing maybe 1-2 les appointments a day!! Except for emergencies

Dr Neuyen and staff are amazing! Our Sammy Girl was 13 1/2 yrs old we loved her so much. Dr Neuyen never met Sammy before that day she was amazing, she guided our family through the whole process. We were all a mess. Not only did she comfort Sammy but the whole Family. Ive never seen a team with so much compassion and love ...Id actually give them 10 🌟 s.

My first experience was whem my dog had a terrible life threatening ear infection. I had taken her to several vets and none of medication they gave her was helping. She was miserable. I went to pet smart to get some advice and there was a Banfield Pet hospital in the building. Once the medical assistant took one look at her ear she immediately called for a doctor. To make a long story short Lady was treated and has not had an infection since. Now that they are in Laverne its even better. Dr. Harvey and the entire staff are the real deal. Top notch. They treat your animal as if it were there own. AND they make great coffee!

Horrible! Lost my appointment twice, told me I had to do a blood test the Mon. before neutering my pup, they never did the test, instead looked for other ways to charge me for things I was not ther for, quoted me $300 to $400 dollars and when I got ther the price changed to $465, and told me I had to pay $303 for chest x-rays because my pet was on a non grain diet. I will never do businness with them and will tell everyone about my experience.

The staff there is amazing,I go see doctor harvey, but if shes not there, I will trust anyone there!! I will not take my dogs anywhere else. Very clean, great hrs, drop off pets is available and is very convenient for us. I have the wellness plan there so I can take my dogs there anytime..

Very nice people, felt slight pressure to purchase more expensive meds but when I said I want comfortable with it they stopped.My biggest pet peeve is veterinary hospitals making you feel guilty for not buying expensive & unnecessary treatments, meds, & products. I didnt feel that way here & my normally fearful little girl came out from the back happy as could be!

I took my dog in as an emergency, there was so much going on and I was hoping for better answers I ended up having to get a second opinion because the results I got where wrong. If they would have diagnosed her right there could have been a fighting chance and now I have to pay everything because she is deceased. My heart is broken and this company doesn’t care about you or your pets they are just money hungry.

So my dog has super long nails and we had to go there because she got stuck in a blanket so we rushed there it took like 30 minutes to get in there my poor puppy couldnt hold it finally they called us and they said they were going to cut the nails 5 minutes later she finally came out the nurse said the she was bad tamed I was like excuse me your the bad tamed her and they chopped mt dog nails all the way down and she was squirting blood so if you really love your dog please dont bring them their!
