Cute shop offering a unique flavor of coffee, banana! The banana latte was light with subtle notes of banana. This place has been on my list for some time, definitely worth stopping to check out. They also offer pastries that look delicious.

Fun places with fun drinks. Everyone in my family ordered something unique and everything was good.I ordered the banana latte with oat milk. I requested half sweetness, which was a good choice, as the latte wasnt too sweet and still had a solid banana flavor. Kinda reminds me of laffy taffy lol. It was fun to try, but I wouldnt say banana would be my go to flavor addition.Good vibes and a wide variety on the menu. Id recommend checking it out

Traveled from phoenix, az and wanted to find a cute coffee shop nearby and stumbled across banana dang! I got the thai tea and it was one of the best thai teas I’ve ever had! I already want to go back just for banana dang and try everything on the menu.

I had a Banana Latte and it was really good. The banana flavor was not overpowering at all but you could still taste it enough. I really loved the vibe of the cafe. It’s def a place you can go work or just hang out with friends. Service was great too.

A local favorite - even prior to moving the SoCal wed stop in here frequently! A great place to find vegan pastries which is a huge draw but they also have great toasts. Im not a huge coffee fan but my husband loves their iced Vietnamese and Ive enjoyed their banana mylk many times. Love that they display local artwork - great mech too!

The coffee is below expectation, but still one of the best in this area. I ordered Latte. The coffee bean is medium roasted. Maybe too much milk, I could hardly taste the espresso. Temperature is good, not too hot. Good coffee shop.

Smoothies (Nutty Dang) was an absolute treat and wife got the banana latte, we both loved our drinks.The toast are also on point—cinnamon (so tasty and sweet but not overdone) and green fire (thick layer of guacamole, they don’t hold back-with the perfect amount of kick!).Top it off with some great service and down to earth service and kindness!Add this to your list of places for must try and regularly visit!

Nice Vegan food/drinks, clean unisex restrooms, strong wifi, and nice staff.We popped in here after being absolutely wrecked. We are not vegan, but my husband is lactose intolerant. All of these smoothies were automatically made with almond milk.We Got a banana mocha frappe, and a berry dang. The mocha frappe was easily one of the best coffee frozen drinks I have ever had. My berry drink was perfectly fine.The bathroom was clean and It looked to be very handicapped friendly with a guardrail and low seat. No changing table for kids but its not really kids place. Lots of seating and local art. They also had a very good fancy toast menu with jam and lots of avocado.This would absolutely be a place I would feel comfortable blindly bringing a vegan friend to and expecting great food.

I had been eagerly looking forward to visiting this place and finally got the chance after a refreshing beach run. I decided to try the Mango Dango smoothie, which boasted a delightful blend of mango, banana, vanilla, and apple juice with a touch of almond milk. Let me just say, it exceeded all my expectations and turned out to be the most delectable smoothie I have ever tasted. Not only was it incredibly refreshing, but the flavors were perfectly balanced, resulting in an utterly delicious experience.I am already planning my next visit and this time, Ill be bringing my family along to share in this delightful experience. Im especially excited to explore their coffee menu, as it looks equally tempting and I have no doubt it will be a treat for the taste buds. Last Thursday on November 11, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. this was my first time visiting Banana Dang Coffee Shop. I wanted to try this new Coffee Shop . I walked into the front entrance door and I smelled the scent of Bananas and the aroma in the air was very delicious! I placed my order with Cameron (Cam) this barista. I ordered the one cup of the Dirty Milk Banana Coffee these ingredients are (Banana Powder, Cinnamon, Oat Milk, and Expresso Coffee). I was charged $8.00 for this Coffee.Then I ordered the one slice of the Chocolate Banana Bread with melted butter on top that was heated up in their microwave oven for a few minutes. The price was $4.50. My total bill was $12.50. For just (2 Food Items) these prices are very expensive.This Chocolate Banana Bread was very moist and delicious. The Dirty Milk Banana Coffee was sweet and has a delicious Banana flavor to this beverage.I received excellent customer service from Cameron and Alexandria.The atmosphere at this Coffee Shop was very clean and relaxing.I highly recommend this Banana Dang Coffee Shop.

This was a cool, unique coffee shop - using natural banana sweetener in a lot of the drinks. Through the few days we were in Oceanside, we got banana Mocha, Dang-berry smoothie, and iced banana oat milk latte. All were amazing and better than the next - cool change of taste for a coffee shop, and nothing was too overwhelming with flavor 👌

We went today at 7:45 AM. Very nice place. Clean. Ambiance is very relaxing. However I must say that the food is a bit overpriced. I can pretty much do what they do at home. I might come back to this place after 6 months or so just for their nice banana flavored latte. But if you are going to say that this is a cafe that my friends and I would go every weekend, I dont think so. Plus the service earlier is quite cold. I dont feel the hospitality or friendliness from the servers.PS: If you are looking for decaf drinks this is not the place for you

The staff was very kind! The value was definitely worth it, most places will overcharge you for a small piece of avocado toast but their toast was huge! Bigger than my hand, and the bread tasted like it was baked in-house. The latte was a latte, simple and delicious :) cute place, I like it a lot. They even make these awesome bracelets out of açaí seeds collected from their blenders! Which make great gifts for friends if you’re visiting from out of town.

Visited Banana Dang Coffee this afternoon and loved the vibe in the shop! A couple folks were playing games while they waited for their drinks, but otherwise it was pretty quiet! The staff was low-key friendly and answered my questions easily! The only bummer was not being able to do a decaf or half caf coffee! We ended up trying the Mango Dango which my husband said was amazing and the Nutty Dang, which was honestly so delicious, even without having it “dirty” with the espresso shots! Would totally go back again!

I dont know how we stumbled upon Banana Dang but it quickly became our favorite coffee shop in Oside. The owners are super-friendly, funny people who serve up a mean mocha, and more. Their smoothies are delicious and even come dirty (with a shot of espresso). Their toast looks yummy but I am gluten-free so I stick with their selection of gluten-free items. They also offer a few vegan items (they work with local bakers). The paintings adorning their walls are painted by local artists and for sale. The vibe is always upbeat and fun with a selection of music that is never the same. You can take your coffee to-go in a recycled, recyclable cup (very earth-friendly here), or enjoy it in the shop, in a cool Banana Dang cup, and challenge a friend to a game of Chess, Tic Tac Toe, or Connect 4. Big fan of their t-shirts and stickers, also.

Got a delicious Mocha here. The chocolate they used tasted like it had a hint of a caramel, which was nice (and im not even a fan of caramel). My wife purchased a very comfy Banana Dang sweater that feels very soft, and she seems to love it (even though its banana yellow lol). The staff was nice and had three staff members working the espresso machine and counter. They seemed to have a lot of business. The mocha was served lid off with a classic heart design, which I always enjoy to see :).

I was staying at the Fin and walked by this place and popped in just to check it out and I was pleasantly surprised. I got a purple dang smoothie yesterday on my way to go hiking. It was super tasty! I went there this morning to grab breakfast. I was told yesterday by a local that once you have Dangs coffee its hard to go back ..I would have to agree! Unfortunately my home is in Canada. Haha.I got their mocha this morning. They nailed it!I also got there nutty banana toast. It was on whole wheat bread with loads of peanut butter, bananas and honey. Yum! For myself it was super filling and Id probably share one the next time Im in Oceanside.Great service, everyone who works there seems happy and are smiling. Its a cute cafe and the coffee is smooth and VERY good. Its apparent that this is a real coffee place based on the preparation methods (+1). Could easily have been a new favorite for me, as we love our coffee. However, I didnt find them to be friendly or helpful as the other reviews claim -- we pretty much had to speak to HIM first. No thanks, we are paying for this. The barista who poured over the coffee was cool though.

Definitely recommend for the coffee and eats and the friendliness of staff. There is a counter that you can sit at that overlooks the street/sidewalk for some prime people-watching as well.

We stopped here on our way back from Huntington Beach to San Diego, and chose this place based on google reviews and did not disappoint. My son had the matcha banana smoothie, I had a matcha latte and my husband had the cold coffee, But my favorite thing was the hummus toast with almonds and sun dried tomatoes. The atmosphere and service are excellent 👌. However, the smoothie I paid 8.50+ tax for was very small. Was tasty but small. Tzone up the street is waaaaaay better. 6$ and the smoothies are huge! Plus, they give you a plastic straw. Not a stupid paper straw that gets all squishy when you take more than 5 minutes to drink your dinky little overpriced smoothie. Dang! If youre gonna charge 9$ for a smoothie, make it bigger, and put freaking plastic straw man, 😒, so at least my straw doesnt disintegrate. Im going to Tzone next time. Not as many artsy paintings on the wall, but at least their smoothies are well priced and have excellent value.

I visited this place almost every morning during my stay in Oceanside. There are plenty of food and drink menu items to try out. I ate a few of the toasts options, and I enjoyed them all. This is a really cool little coffee spot I found while traveling in the area for work. I wanted a nice iced mocha and some thing delicious for breakfast. This place more than met my expectations. They have a variety of avocado toast and breakfast options. It was quiet when I first arrived but there seemed to be a steady stream of customers popping by. The ice mocha was delicious and really pleasing to the eye too. I liked how it was served in a chunky glass with a handle - that was a bit of a unique twist. There’s a few tables to sit at but most people seemed to be dropping by to pick up and go. It was a quiet Sunday morning and there was plenty of parking options close by either right outside or on side streets within a very short walk. There is a the banana theme to the store with t-shirts and other items and some cool info on why they are a bit fanatic about them. If you’re in the area and looking for breakfast or a coffee, highly recommend checking out banana dang coffee for something a bit different in the Oceanside area.

Favorite thing to get is a Dirty Nutty Dang with oat milk and hemp protein. Service is great. Everything here is vegan, but is enjoyable for non vegans too. They have paper straws which are great but not everyones thing. I bring my own cup if Im having it to go and they give you a discount when you bring your own so thats nice. Favorite coffee shop in north county!! The owners are extremely experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. The coffee is a 10/10 no matter what kind you get. They make all of their espresso by hand - no automatic machines where you just pour the beans in and press a button. They always have different coffees every week that they spotlight and you can really taste the difference.Besides the amazing food and service, they have lots of board games like chess, checkers, connect four, etc. I love coming here with a friend in the morning and playing some games.Definitely check Banana Dang out, you wont regret it!

They have these neat wooden games you can play while your waiting for your order (Connect four, chess, etc.) The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make your comfortable. I had one of their toasts (peanut butter,honey,banana for me!) And would suggest to anyone whos hungry to get one as well. Not only are they delicious, they are huge and well worth the money. Stopped by on a drive through Oceanside, and honestly, very disappointed in the coffee. This is a very quirky shop, with odd preparation methods for their most basic coffee. I got the plain black iced coffee, no cream no sugar. The initial taste is alright, however, there is a peculiar, fish-tasting aftertaste. Would not recommend the coffee; $4 per cup and lower quality than some other, cheaper coffee places.

This place is awesome! I feel like Ive tried half the menu and cant pick any favorites, but here are a few worthy mentions. All the espresso drinks are smooth. I love the Macchiato, and the Cortado. They have Vietnamese coffee and their Dirty Banana Mylk is wild. The breakfast toast is unique. The Nutty Banana toast is delicious and my new fave at the moment is the Hot Mango toast. I highly recommend the Radical Dang smoothie as well. And of course the staff is very friendly. This place has a cool family vibe. They make you feel right at home every time you walk in. Oh ya, and theyre environmentally friendly. What more could you ask for? I give this place 6 out of 5 stars!

The first time going there, we were told only a few of the pastries are non-vegan, but everything else is. After being told this, my friend purchased one thinking it was vegan, but it wasn’t. They have a dairy allergy and broke out in hives.The second time, I asked the person at the register if they had any vegan pastries left. They said that all of their pastries are vegan. Their coworker had to correct them, and said that only the blueberry scone is vegan. I asked what other vegan pastries they would usually have, and this is when I learned that that particular pastry was their only vegan pastry.It’s pretty clear that some of the people working there have no clue what vegan actually means, which is kind of a big deal.

Stopped here between the gym and work. I ordered the golden chai and crunchy honey toast on rosemary bread. Its a combination I didnt know I would enjoy so much. The chai wasnt grossly sweet like most chais I order. It could have been more ginger-y (only because I like to feel the spicy heat of my chais). For the toast, they covered the cream cheese and honey with an almost solid layer of chia seeds, which made it so much easier to eat in the car (it kept the cream cheese from getting all over). Everything tastes freshly made with real ingredients as opposed to the processed food and drink recipes from the chain coffee shops.

Ive been here twice and both times had a very good caffe macchiato. This drink is presented well also: in a demitasse with nice art in the foamed milk. I think I got a heart both times.I just sit by the front window and watch people walk up and down 101 for 20 minutes or so.This place comes closest in Oceanside to a European coffee place as far as I know. Theres probably not a lot of demand for it here, i.e., spending so much time sipping 40 ml of espresso.
