From the moment they booked my estimate to the time they pulled out of my driveway. They were incredibly professional and felt like family! They continually checked on me to see if I was happy with the progress and everything was done as promised, if not better. I received four quotes all from top heating and air conditioning companies. They were highly competitive with Lowest bid, in the end they ended up beating the price. They showed up on time they cleaned up as they worked. There were no messes laying around during the process. I highly recommend this company.!

Angel was very professional, pleasant and spent the time to thoroughly inspect all areas of our air conditioning unit. He provided us with a list of all areas of concern along with those areas that were fine which were all verified by pictures he took. In addition, he provided us with three repair options to consider, along with an option to replace our system if so desired. He never once pressured us to repair or replace our system, but simply provided us with his findings and left us to decide how we will decide to proceed. We felt as though Angel was very honest with us and truly appreciate the time he spent with us. Once we determine when and how we’ll proceed, we won’t hesitate to contact Ballard for this work and will certainly request that Angel is the one to do it.

Ballard Plumbing / Heating & Air came out to replace my air conditioning unit. I had a few quotes and Ballard’s quote was in the middle, but they checked ALL of my boxes! They are professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and they have superior products. The installation was done in one day and all of my questions were fully answered. I will continue to do business with Ballard as long as I own my home. I HIGHLY recommend Ballard.

My name is Linda and I called to get help for my daughter. (According to the water company we used 356000 gallons and that there was a bad leak. It ended up bring a sprinkler issue. Daryl was with another customer yet he kept me updated as to his eta. He was very personable and extremely efficient. If I could give him 25 stars just on his awesome customer service alone I would. We will be calling your company from now on. Daryl found and diagnosed the problem right away. What really put our experience over the top was the cost. It was very reasonable and I truly felt that Ballard has integrity as a company by not overcharging. I was extremely pleased. I thank you so much. The technician that came out was great! He was friendly and explained what he was doing. I told him the issue we were having with our home AC unit and he quickly found the problem. We needed a new capacitor. Great! Problem solved. My issue is with the cost of the service. (Which I don’t hold the technician responsible for at all.) All in all we were charged $525. So of course I looked up the cost of the part we got online. It is $90 on Amazon, so I’m assuming the company can get them even cheaper than that. Now I completely understand that we are paying for someone who is an expert in this field to come out, figure out what the problem is, and fix it. I have no issue with paying someone for their skill. The thing is, that $435 seems pretty steep for the diagnosis and labor which only took about 15-20 minutes max. We did get the higher quality replacement part which cost more and comes with a longer warranty. Even still, that rate seems like gouging to me.

The Ballard techs that came out to my parent’s house were awesome! They were honest and hard working. Not only did they start fixing the plumbing in bad weather, but even when it began to hail they continued until the job was complete. They could have easily quit until the next day, but they made sure my parents had functioning bathrooms and drainage before they left. We could not have been more grateful for their commitment to the job and kindness. They were a blessing, for sure!

I guess he was trying to make a commission for himself and not even understand how to repair the Existing equipment! Following a flooding incident, resulting in partial removal of walls, we discovered we needed to replace pipes, valves, etc. Manuel from Ballard Plumbing came in, assessed the situation and promptly assembled the necessary crew to make repairs and replacements prior to restoration. I recently had Ballard come out to my home for a $79.00 tune up special the person I spoke to on the phone informed me the $79.00 price was for one furnace I have 2 furnaces in my home.an appointment was made and the service tech showed up to perform the 79.00 tune up special, the tech went up into my attic to perform the so called tune up. After the tech was done with inspecting my furnaces he explained to me that the blower motors would need cleaning and possibly 2 capicitators replacedcleaning the motors would be $1250.00 each and $812.00 for the capacitator.replacement. The tech said in his opinion repalceing the furnaces would be best, and a sales person could come out and give a replacement cost. No work or service was performed beyond the inspection and estimate. If you visit Ballards website it states estimates for free so anyone who reads this review should call for just that, not the tune up special you end up getting scammed.5/12/2024I am revising my initial review of Ballard Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning. Not soon after I posted my review about my Ballards Heat/AC experience I received a call from the owner of Ballards he mentioned he read my review and asked me to please explain what had happened with the house call where a Ballards tech came out to my house to conduct a tune up that I felt was nothing more than a estimate of repairs rather than any maintenance being actually performed, and charged $158.00 ($79.00 x 2) After sharing my experience with the business owner he gave me an explanation of his family owned business going back 75 years and how customer satisfaction was so important he apologized for what he agreed was not what I should have experienced. After the initial house call I figured I just gave away $158.00 and promised myself not to ever call or reccomend Ballards Heat/AC again. Ballards rechead out to me on more than one occasion letting me know they wanted to make it right. I was on a job out of state and did not return their calls.I soon received a full refund of the $158.00 the owners son actually came to my house and handed the check to my wife and let her know how important we as cusomers to Ballards. I would just like to thank Ballards for reaching out to us so quickly and sincerely. I will not slam the door closed on using Ballards in the future.

I hope women read these reviews so they arent taken advantage of. These people dont want to fix basic problems. They want to sell you a new heating and air system. I read all the reviews before they walked in the door. Some of the other reviews said they want to sell a new system, so I was ready for them to suggest that, which they did. I will never call them again. They did the same thing a couple years ago. I decided to give them another chance and they wound up doing the same thing.-This is an update on the Ballard experience from last week. They mailed my check back to me. I just got it in the mail. I appreciate that they did that. It felt like they were trying to do the right thing. I gave them 2 extra stars for that.

We were experiencing some heating issues with our heater, not wanting to turn on and we contacted Ballard they sent out Ryan who was very nice and professional, and explained everything that he did. After researching several different brands of A/C units online and getting several estimates, along with speaking to Dennis about replacing our two 16 y/o York units (one was leaking and causing damage to our ceiling), we went with Dennis/Ballard and set an install date of 9/10/21. We chose to go with (2) complete Carrier 3-ton 16 seer units. Their pricing seemed reasonable when compared to others, and their Google reviews speak for themselves. I’d like to tell you everything went as expected with the install, however I can’t.Their crew of 5 showed up as scheduled and took the time to cover flooring and personal property to protect it. (appreciated) The removal of the old units and install of the new Carrier units seemed to go seamlessly, only taking around 6 hours from start to finish. Before leaving they cleaned up any mess they made, which was also appreciated. By the time they left our house it was cool both upstairs and now downstairs as well.I’m a do-it-yourself guy, who had done a lot of different types of construction work when I was younger. So, I know more than most. I decided after they left, to go up into the attic and check out the new units. I had been up there a lot over the past week drying out the insulation and making sure there wasn’t any additional leaking from the running unit. I noticed right away that the top of the NEW evaporative coil box they had just installed was crushed! Obviously, I wasn’t happy, I had just spent about $20,000 and they installed this? I had done online research on this unit, so I knew based on pictures there was some void area near where it was crushed, and it might not have damaged to the coil. However, they obviously made no attempt to pull the dent out, and it was on the edge where it connected to the air handler unit. There was NO way for there to be a proper seal of the two connected units regardless of how much tape they used. Why would a respectable company knowingly complete the install of a damaged product, without consulting their supervisor or me? Had I not traveled back up into the attic to check out my new A/C, the damaged unit would still be up there. Would this damage VOID the manufacturer’s warranty? Likely! What would have happened if 4 years down the road, I had to call Ballard because the unit stopped cooling. Would they have taken responsibility for that damage? I checked out the rest of the attic install, and everything else looked as it should from what I could tell. So, I went outside to check out the compressor units, and there I found that they had failed to strap down both newly replaced units properly. Obviously, not as critical as the coil, however, I was informed prior to installation, they would be. So, this just added to the frustration.I called Dennis right away and told him about my concerns with the quality of the work done at my home. Ultimately, insisting that the coil box be replaced, and the condensers secured. To his credit, Dennis said he would do whatever was necessary to make us happy.Had the coil been what it should have been, I’d have given Ballard 5 stars. But I have to be real, we spent a lot of money and deserved better than this. We have a 2-year parts and labor warranty, and I will update accordingly.

The guy who came out was quick a very Professional.. I cant blame him but I called for a leak detection test to find where my leak is. I knew I had one somewhere in the front . But I was told on the phone I would be charged $49.00 for a sevice fee to do the leak check. But when the plumber came he told me it would be around $1800.00 for the leak check specialist and more for the fix. So I was disappointed that I had to pay to be told I had a leak that I already knew I did. However he did see where it possibly could be leaking from so I guess thats better then nothing. But all in all he was very nice and quick. And had good advice since Im on a fixed LOW income i have to see what I can do for the repair.

Ballard addressed my furnace problem readily and sent out an repair tech within one hour. The problem was solved by increasing the air speed for the furnace. All checkpoints for the furnace were on spot. Angel the repair tech did an excellent job in communing the job situation and quickly performed the necessary adjustment.

My heater was not working properly so I reached out to Ballard Heating and Plumbing to fix the issue. A technician came out and got the heat to come on for a few minutes but by the time he had left, the heater was malfunctioning again. The tech came back the next day, claimed it was an error on his part with his equipment and advised that the issue had now been fixed. I didn’t have time to check as I was headed out the door to my final doctor appointment before delivering my new baby. I came home to a cold house that is blowing cold air on a winter night. To make matters worse, I will be delivering my newborn in 2 days and I have a freezing home and it’s Christmas weekend. I will have to scramble to find an efficient HVAC company who can actually fix the heating issue so my newborn and other 3 children don’t freeze to death. I don’t know what the tech did on the second visit but the fan won’t stop blowing cold air and it’s already freezing and 57 degrees outside. I even went outside at midnight to shut off the AC breaker and the fan is still running. I tried taking all the wires out of the back of the thermostat and that didn’t work. I had to wake my 12 year old up to help me close all the vents which didn’t help much. What a disaster!!!

Ballard plumbing did an outstanding job for me. I have used their company for years and they have always done excellent work for me. I used them today to replace a pressure regulator that was 65 years old. Jordan and his helper Martin showed up on time and did an amazing job replacing the regulator re-plumbing the water supply to one of my apartment buildings. They got the work done quickly and when they were finished it looked 100% better, very professionally done. I would definitely recommend Ballard Plumbing to anyone in of good quality work for a reasonable price.

He also gave us a military discount and they had a special this month for the heater being included. Ballard is a very reputable company with 74 yrs of experience. I had a problem with a tub drain clog. Another company had come out the day before and was unsuccessful in clearing it. Ballard Plumbing came out this morning, Victor Montano was the service tech and he was amazing!! He was personable and professional and it took extensive work on his part but he cleared the problem. This was the first time someone from Ballard came to check my furnace and air conditioner. I just moved in and wanted the systems checked. The man who came was very nice, very professional, and I had gotten notice that he was on his way, which made it easier for me to arrange my day. Just got my brand new Halo 5 water filtration installed by the great guys at Ballard. Robert and Jonathan were true professionals in their presentation and were incredibly informative on my options and even gave me affordable payment options. Once the decision was made, they got right to work while being respectful of my home by wearing floor protectors, and putting down tarps to protect my furniture. Now in the hottest summer ever, we began hearing disturbing sounds from the system and had a tech, Angel, come out today. He was friendly, efficient and after examining and tweaking the system he did not hustle us for unneeded services although he mentioned a” family plan”, quite reasonably priced for 3 service calls a year, to include A/C, furnace and hot water systems. Our new ac stopped working, called them, they came out and said it was fried because of water damage and it would cost $2,200 and two weeks to get parts. Wrote a quote and then said he unplugged it so it wouldn’t create a spark. Had another ac guy come out, said they switched the wiring polarity and unplugged some other wires and once he put it back, reset the system and started working great no problem. I called to complain and said they’d call me back and don’t approve of their workers doing this. Haven’t heard anything but them requesting me to review them. Would not trust them or recommend them ever again. Ryan and this team showed up on time and all together. We walked the installation and then they all went to work. Ryan pointed out a couple things that were not correct from a past install with a different company. Ryan could have taken short cuts and left it but Ryan and his team went over and beyond to fix their work and make everything correct.We had new AC ducts and vents installed with Ballard.The quote process was seamless, and one point of contact through Ryan. Ryan meet with my Dad when I was out of town, and 2-phone calls later I have new ducting throughout the house with much better air flow.I am very impressed with all my interactions with the Ballard Team. Jordan was above great. He was on time and had the greatest positive personality ever. He replaced our toilet in our master bedroom. I just had major surgery last week and I’m not able to lift anything at the moment.
