Recently bought my first brand new car from Johnny. He was so informative and helpful. He had an answer to all my questions and did not make it feel like just a transaction. I loved he wanted to show me multiple cars so I could see the difference in the features. The process was fast and easy, he was definitely the best salesman I could have hoped for! I highly recommend ball Kia for any first time buyers, but especially Johnny!

Ive been coming to Ball Kia for awhile and it seems to get better and better everytime we have an appointment. Their customer service is good, the turn around time is so much faster than before and we can now pay online. I love how the mechanics takes videos of the car and makes sure everything looks great. I am also pleased that they wash the car now too.

He really and truly, genuinely cares about the customers, and that is so lacking today in not just customer service but the world. I am never going to another repair shop again! I brought my Niro into Ball Kia to have a recall notice serviced, booking the appointment was easily done with an online scheduler. Ernie and his team were great - so friendly and accommodating. He gave me a time frame so I would know what to expect, and the work even got done ahead of schedule. Even though my appointment was specifically to address the recall notice, they also did a general check on my car to make sure everything was running properly. I will be happy to bring my car back to Ernie and Ball Kia for future maintenance.

Horrible experience. Please save yourself time and shop a reputable dealership.This absolutely was THE most horrible car buying situation that I have ever been involved with. We were in the market ready to buy a vehicle for my daughter. We live out of town and had a short window of time to make this purchase. The appointment was set up almost 2 weeks before our visit with Gabriel. Numerous times over the phone we told him that we were looking for a KIA SPORTAGE HYBRID PLUG IN and were assured that there was one in stock. Our appointment was confirmed the day before with Gabriel and we were to meet with Gerry.When we arrived we were told Gerry was unavailable and busy with a customer. What was even more frustrating was that the car we wanted was not in stock!!!! What a complete waste of time. We arrived at 2:40 and by 3:20 still no Gerry so we left.

Recently took my vehicle to Ball Kia. Ozzie approached me, was very friendly, professional and made the experience of having maintenance done on my vehicle stress free. Will definitely be coming back to deal, hopefully, with Ozzie at Ball Kia.When the vehicle was done, Ozzie also helped obtain a shuttle for the return. My experience here is always great! I’ve gotten 2 cars from here over the years never had any issues they are willing to work with you and fit your needs. Jose and the manager cut me a deal for the leasing of my new car and I couldn’t be happier. They helped me stay on my price point which was very important to me. Staff was welcoming. Took my car in to get worked on due to rodent damage and it was covered by my insurance. Process was smooth until time of payment, dealership forgot to submit a supplement needed for my claim which delayed my scheduled pick up through the weekend. Luckily my insurance also covered my car rental so it wasn’t horrible but would have been nice to just have my car. Besides that delay, staff was attentive and my car is functioning with no engine light on anymore.

They’ll leave the phone ringing and if you leave a vmail, just know they will not be returning your call…This is stupid bc customers are going to have questions and this just comes off lazy. I’ll have to find a diff Kia now unfortunatelyI wish this location did military discounts, they’re more expensive compared to carlsbad Kia but the service is pretty good. Ozzy, Felipe, and the rest of the Ball Kia team have serviced/helped maintain my Stinger since 2021. Always professional and polite. Competitive/reasonable quotes every time. Emailed me each service transaction. Offered shuttle or ride-share if I needed to drop the car off and still get errands done. Although I never used the option myself, financing was available for any of the services conducted.

I had a minor emergency with my car and needed it drivable to get home. I called the service department and worked with Felipe and they were able to get me in and my car fixed in under an hour. Great experience, excellent customer service by Felipe. I’ve also been coming to this location for over a year and a half now, and have had no problems with their service and staff. Would also recommend it’s a lot easy to call and make an appointment than to try and do it online. They can get you in faster if you call the service department.

This is my FIRST TIME going to Kia services since I bought my 2024 Kia Sportage SX. I thought I would had a better experience from Jeep Dealership but I was wrong. Did not received a reminder call, text or email if my wife doesnt tell me about the oil change I would of miss the appointment. Secondly, I got lost the Kia service is in a weird building not on the dealership, so I was 10 min late after waiting 5-10 min in the car with my family finally a Kia employee helps us out. The lounge did not had beverages a lot of things were out of stock and the kids section was so dirty. The service took around 1 hour and 34 minutes; you can improve in better snacks and drinks for waiting customers. Also I dont know if Kia offers a car shuttle/transportation? But we could of gone to breakfast while waiting for our car. Last one thing 1st oil change was complementary because of the car purchase but they did not ask for a oil change package to save money. In Jeep dealership I paid $120 for 4 oil change. I hope it was just a bad day and not a bad service.

Good place, no lines, quick service and the website actually works for appointments (unlike some other Kia dealerships).On the down side, they seem to have a single maintenance schedule for all models, nevermind year and engine type, and the guy I spoke to didnt know anything beyond that schedule, so do your diligence on your actual cars requirements.

The earliest appointment for repair at Ball KIA was available in a week. The repair was completed within 4 days after appointment and the costs of the repair were covered by the warranty. I picked up the car with the full tank of gas but when I stopped after driving 10 miles I noticed gasoline gushing from under the car. I reported the problem to KIA, they sent a towing service, repaired the gasoline leakage, apologized and delivered the car to me at home the same day, though the gasoline tank was empty. The KIA service employees were very friendly and accommodating to my needs.

I’m 78 years old. I have purchased, lease new lcars, most of my life. My experience at Ballshas been a total nightmare Robert, one of the finance managers,hid the contract and switched me from a purchase to a four year lease. Erased the negotiated purchase price that I agreed to from 23,000 to a little over 30,000. This with a $5,000 down payment. so I started out approximately $10,000 in the hole. today, 30 months and 18,000 later in payments and down payment, the car has been appraised at $15,000 with the balance due on it around 23 500. every day, for the last 30 months, I think about Robert and balls olds. The general manager, had the decency to refund me $800 cash. Out of pity.

I’ve been trying to fix my transmission since October of 2023 and the service department said they had to first do a transmission fluid change and if it keeps slipping they would fix it, but all I got was empty promises. When I started calling them 2-3 months later I was unable to get someone to answer until 3 months later. I dropped off on a Monday morning and requested that they also do an oil change. I texted on Thursday for an update, and they said the tech was about to drive it. So that was 3 days with nothing done. On Friday, I got a message that they were not able to replicate the issues and there is nothing they could do. On Monday, they called me to again reiterate they could not fix the transmission because they could not replicate the issue, and they suggested I take it to another service department to see if they can replicate the slipping issue. I asked if my car had the oil change done and Ozzie said it would be approximately $140. I then asked him if that meant the oil change was completed, it wasn’t. He asked me if I still wanted it done before I go to pick it back up. As if. I’d rather take it to another service center where they will not wait a whole week later til the last minute, to waste more of my time. Do yourself a favor and find another service center, I’ll save your time for you.

My name and is Ivan Flowers & I am posting this under my wife, Tracys account. I bought a 2022 Kia EV Niro from Ball in June 2022. When I first started home charging on a Level 2 charger, I would have 275 miles on completion of charge. Presently, I get only 219 miles at completion of charge . So, I explained all this to Ball Kia service BEFORE I brought it in to get a maintenance service and look at the charging issue. They told me nothing was wrong with car, battery was at 100 percent & that no one has ever had this problem before. But, ahead of the appointment I looked in the Kia forum & found that hundreds of people have experienced this EXACT same issue! So, I asked to speak to an EV tech because I knew there was something wrong. Their response was, We have no EV techs, we are not trained on EVs & we do not know anything about these cars. So, I contact Kia directly. Twice! I told them issue, received a case number & now, I sit & wait for ANYONE to call me & help or maybe simply to care. I have been waiting over a month...

Worse experience, after manufacture warranty is expire then the issue with the car will begin. I started to have electrical issues with my car after 5 years of owning the car not even done paying the dealer. I have taken my car for the same issue and they haven’t being able to fix the issue. The reason why I decided to buy my car here was because of the service I received since I got to the dealership. I went to a few and was not treated properly. Raul was the one that helped me find the car that I was looking for, he went above and beyond to make sure everything run smoothly. I was impressed by the way the manager treated us even before we bought a car. Super kid friendly and that’s why we loved this dealership. In the financial area I got to say Juan was amazing and so helpful being honest and transparent with all the signs we had to do. He made sure we understood everything before signing. Both times I’ve brought my car in still no fix and the first time I was lied to about what is covered under my warranty so I had to pay out of pocket . During the past two months in which I’ve brought it in I’ve had to have rental cars as well totally 200+ a week and still no help . And “conveniently” Kia only accepts warranty if you go to the dealership and not any other mechanic that could have fixed this issue already. In total with my car being down I have spent and lost almost 7,000 because I myself am a service worker . My car is a 2022 forte with under 50k miles and for it to be even having a unfixable problem is ridiculous! This is the third Kia that has broke down on my family and why I made sure to cover jt under warranty. Whatever you do do not buy a Kia ! Worst mistake of my life.

This review is for the service department...I have a kia soul & I have no complaints as its been a great car so far but the check engine light came on and turns out its the catalytic converter and its covered under warranty still but originally I was told that it could take Kia Motors up to a month to approve the replacement of the part. I bought a vehicle back in April, and have had nothing but issues with these people. Firstly they failed to provide floor mats and told me to come back the next day, only for them to tell me they couldnt give me any mats that day and the rep wouldnt answer my calls. Afterwards I realized they never gave me safety equipment (jack, donut, patch kit, etc) and wouldnt provide any after the sale. Now I have my bank constantly mailing me because the finance department didnt send them the required documentation, and their finance department isnt available on weekends. Wanted to check out the Kia SORENTO and met with the manager Raul. He did a great job showing us what we were looking for. And showed us the colors it came in and found the perfect fit for our family. Raul was so informative and such a humble person. My husband and I were on the fence between Kia and Nissian and Raul made a difference and helped us choose the best direction for us. Spoke to Felipe this morning about my 2019 Kia completely going out on me and he says no appointments till October 11th, so I said is there anything else that can be done and he says no like I told you only till October 11th and while Im speaking to him he hangs up . I called back a few times and now he sends me to answering machine . Very rude and unprofessional. Called a different department so I can speak to a manager they said you to a voicemail !!

I just took my 2014 Forte in for the anti-theft software upgrade recall. I was met immediately when I arrived, they started working on it right away (I did have an appointment), finished it ahead of the estimated completion time, and I was on my way - great experience. Much different than the Kearney Mesa Kia dealer, where I guess they are overworked or understaffed, because dealing with them is a complete nightmare. Ball Kia is now my go to dealer when I need something!

Nice staff, willing to work with me on getting the car at close to the advertised price. But, expect the usual “need to check with my manager” game. They also messed up setting up my Kia connect and I cannot access all the car functions on the app. We tried to contact the helpline while I was there but they were closed, even though we tried during their normal business hours. I haven’t had the chance to resolve because I work during those hours. The Niro EV is very complicated. Essentially a computer with wheels. The owners manual does not provide adequate info, so I wish there was a class or web tutorial for new owners. Overall, the team at Ball was good but Kia needs to put mote effort into providing adequate tech support for new owners.
