I just wanted to share how wonderful our stay at the hotel was this past weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and outstanding service. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities we could ask for. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals.Overall, it was an incredible experience that exceeded our expectations in every way. We couldnt have asked for a better place to unwind and enjoy our weekend. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway!

My husband and I recently stayed here with our 10 month old and we had the best time and loved the resort. The staff was amazing we especially loved Marco at the front desk! Everyone was very accommodating. The hotel was beautiful, a great location and the food was amazing. The housekeeping staff gave the baby a cute stuffed dolphin and a book. Everything was perfect we would love to come back next year!

Beautiful Property in Newport Beach. They do allow animals on the premises, in rooms and the restaurants, so allergy people beware! I hope they start offering non-animal occupied rooms because our first room smelled of pet urine, so they moved us to another room which seemed a bit better, but it was on the membership side of the hotel where we couldnt use the facility, we had to go back to the main hotel to use those facilities. They have a live country band at the restaurant which was great! Overall, beautiful hotel that is close to everything.

My wife and I went there for our anniversary. The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly, Especially the valet and shuttle employees. They seem to go above and beyond and made our experience even more enjoyable. We seemed important even though we were just another guest. The housekeeping department went above and beyond as well with enjoyable added touches such as turndown service and little care package items that were exciting to receive. Super close to everything you’d want to visit near the beach. If you’re looking to escape the ordinary, and have an elevated experience, book your next day at this resort. I plan on returning with my family soon

Room was amazing. Location ? No need to explain. Service was first rate, ESPECIALLY Kylie and Gabriella at poolside on Sunday -- Made the day for my wife and me. But Sunday evening, I tried to reach the front desk from my room to ask an important question. I used the front desk button on the phone and it rang and rang and rang with no answer. Finally went to pulsating dead tone. Tried again - no answer. I then used the Concierge button - no answer. I tried the Guest Services button - no answer. I finally used the Room Service button and got a live body - explained my situation and was told that someone would contact me -- never happened. We then went downstairs to have a drink in the restaurant and I noted that the front desk was fully staffed. No idea what happened - For those room rates and being at the Balboa Bay Club, I was pretty shocked and disappointed by that event. Imagine if I was trying to contact the staff because of a medical emergency! Very concerning. Well likely return because we love it there - but it was disappointing.

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. At 7 AM, there was a demonstration by the staff right under our room, which lasted about an hour and prevented us from sleeping. Despite our complaint, the hotel offered no compensation or solution. They should have notified us in advance, as we would have chosen a different hotel. Additionally, the AC in the room was too loud to allow for comfortable sleep. Before booking, make sure to read the fine print regarding parking charges and hotel fees.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Balboa Bay Resort, and it was an experience Ill never forget. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotels charming French Riviera vibe. The elegant architecture and lush gardens made me feel like I was in a fairy tale.But what truly made my stay special was the staff. They were so warm and welcoming, always ready to go the extra mile to ensure I had a memorable stay. I even received personalized recommendations for local attractions, which made my time in Newport Beach even more enjoyable.The waterfront location provided stunning views of the lagoon, creating a serene setting that was perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring.Overall, my stay at Balboa Bay Resort was nothing short of magical. Its the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing retreat. I cant wait to return and create more unforgettable memories

This was an absolutely wonderful resort with amazing staff and a fabulous restaurant. The amenities were also top notch. I was really impressed with the spa and the treatment received there. The restaurant does have limited options in terms of food and it is all American pub fair. There was nothing vegetarian friendly and certainly not vegan friendly, which was really upsetting and had to eat elsewhere. Friends and coworkers were able to eat there and really enjoyed the food though. however, the cocktails and spirits available to consume were top-notch, and the bar staff was fabulous, for the most part. The only real downside was the location. It is not incredibly walkable down to the surrounding area, a lot of construction in the area also made it awkward and dangerous where there were no sidewalks as you walked up and down PCH. so plan to take a taxi or half of a vehicle regardless.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this luxury waterfront hotel. Our room had beautiful bay views, and we enjoyed a glass of wine while we watched the sunset from our private balcony. I also can’t recommend A+O Restaurant & Bar enough. We popped down for dinner, and everything was delicious, from the drinks to desserts. Next time, we’d love to stay at Balboa Bay Resort and stay exclusively in the Newport Beach area to explore!

The Balboa Bay Resort knocks it out of the park. Its centrally located on the water with all sorts of things to walk to near by and the service was absolutely top notch. My room with a balcony and water was incredible, with the size of the bathroom being a huge plus. It was an added bonus that they thoughtfully provide bath salts for the tub (thank you - needed that after summiting Mt. Baldy). Everything about this resort was a pleasant surprise given that the curb appeal is a little lackluster and unassuming. I was concerned when I pulled up but then pleasantly surprised as soon as I entered, especially when I got up to my room. I didnt use a ton of the amenities but will definitely be back at another time, for a different type trip, where I will use the pool, spa etc. Im sure they are all as great as what I did experience service wise was exceptional. The dining experience was great due to the ambience and service, though the food itself was average at best. I would definitely put some effort in to the food and bev department because that was the only negative to an otherwise wonderful stay.
