The setup process was fairly smooth but unfortunately that is the only good thing I can say. Im paying for the top level of service and getting nowhere close. The customer support is abysmal and they clearly dont know anything besides have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. Supposedly my issue has been escalated but I doubt it. Go with any other provider over these guys as theyre the worst!

Was pleasantly surprised today. I had scheduled an appointment for a technician to come out to upgrade my Wifi router in hopes of improving my speed. When Andrew arrived today, his professionalism was immediately evident. He dedicated time to thoroughly explain the process and went above and beyond to ensure the setup was executed flawlessly, providing me with the optimal speed.

As I type this review, I am in my apartment with no internet for the second day in a row. This company is very horrible, and not worth the hassle of saving a few bucks.I have been in my new apartment for a month and 8 days, and my internet has dropped out unexpectedly, 3 times. Ive called so much, I know the prompts to tech support, 2,1, 2, 1. When you call, they take you through this condescending trouble shooting up unplugging, as if you havent tried that already, and waiting 40 secs to do it again, then to make sure all the connections are tight. Then after 45 mins of that, they arent able to do anything and escalate you to Tier 2, who doesnt allow you to be transferred, you have to wait for a call back, but guess what? Tier 2 NEVER calls you back, NEVER, so you patiently wait and never get a return call. So, as another day has been wasted, you call them back to express how you have been without internet for 2 days now, and the Tier one person still makes you go through the same unplugging troubleshooting as you did the day prior as if you havent done that 40 times by now.You have to force them to keep you on the phone and have them call Tier 2 to set up an appointment for the tech to come to you, or they will try to force you off the call to wait for another Tier 2 call that will never come.Then to add insult to injury, they tell you that if the tech comes and its user error, they will charge you $100. the audacity.Budget internet, with budget customer service that the apartment complex pushes for you to get, BC I am sure they get some sort of incentive.I am actively looking for more reliable providers now.

Andrew was not only helpful and timely, he was friendly, too! He had on protective slippers on his shoes, which was great being that I have a huge plush rug in the area he needed to be in. We briefly chatted about music, and he gave me some pointers on hardwiring my devices as well as helped me remove a panel from my entertainment center to avoid having to move it again! 6/5.

Internet is generally good, but a few things:1) Billing processes are terrible. I spent 40 minutes on the phone to correct THEIR billing problem (they first tried to insist my credit card was declined because I had overdrawn it). They then asked me to send emails with a screenshot on another problem Ive been having for a year+ regarding billing... going on 2.5 weeks now with 4 emails and absolutely zero reply or acknowledgement.2) Tech support assumes that the problem is ALWAYS you, talks to you like youre an idiot, and when they eventually realize that half the time the problem is on their end, there is generally zero acknowledgment of the amount of time they wasted asking you to restart your computer.Better than the alternatives, but that doesnt make it good.

To say I’m displeased is an understatement, these people from the day I moved in have given me terrible intermittent connection that took 2 weeks to figure out it was a bad modem/router. They offered to come swap mine out in 8 days… so I swapped out both pieces of equipment with my own that I purchased which has somehow managed to be an even bigger nightmare because NO ONE has been able to enter my MAC address of this new modem so I can just get online. This has been an insanely terrible experience

Dion really saved the day. I was without internet and the first person said I couldn’t get a technician out for 3 days. I scheduled the appointment anyways and then got a call from Dion about 15 min after hanging up. He was able to fix it over the phone within a few minutes. ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Good luck with trying to get assistance with billing, general inquiries or speak to any type of customer service rep. You WILL NOT get help. They will transfer and hang up on you as it is a sheer impossibility to speak to anyone for assistance. They particularly make it difficult to assist anyone. Their hotline is a joke. For internet assistance, I was told to Google my issue. When I inquired to have tech visit, I was put on hold, just to be told that I would be contacted later with an appointment time. That call NEVER came! No formal contact info on their website aside from the useless hotline. I sent an inquiry on their website two weeks ago. BAI still couldnt even dignify me with a response. You will be left with an unusable product. They also scheduled a tech visit and the tech never showed. Took a day off of work for nothing. I inquired to speak to a manager about the incident and of course no response at all. Please take your business elsewhere and avoid this nightmare company!

Probably the worst WiFi provider I’ve dealt with. Terrible customer service as well. Even for someone paying for their best package I’ve had months of bad WiFi. Had people come in, change routers, switched to fully Ethernet cable connections, everything. They just weren’t able to do their jobs thoroughly and it has continued for months. I’m still dealing with it currently and just feel helpless because it seems as if they don’t even know what’s wrong. It really was frustrating to deal with.

Worst internet provider in all of Los Angeles. If I wasn’t forced to use these guys because of where I live, I would never give them the time of day. Unpredictable service interruptions and the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. No one seems to know what they’re doing at BAI. I can’t wait to never have to use them again. Hugo was my installation tech. He went above and beyond. I even accidentally dropped and broke my glasses, and he fixed them for me. This experience was great from start to finish. When I called the main number to setup service, the sales rep was so personally invested in making sure that I was happy and well taken care of. I think Im really going to love my experience with BAI. Its such a concierge internet company. I know several people that have it, and theyre all happy. Bai Connect? This company is awful. My apartment building got a contract with them and forced us all to use them as a provider. We’ve been having multiple wifi outages and I’m going out 2 weeks now without wifi. They don’t even have technicians available to help within a decent timeframe. I now have to receive a credit to my account because services haven’t even been available to me for half the month. I will be requesting to switch my provider IMMEDIATELY. I would not recommend Bai Connect to anyone as they are completely unreliable and useless.

Update: It still goes out all the time. It’s currently out right now. And I love how when there’s a negative review it’s automatically we can’t find you in our system. Well here is my confirmation email for y’all’s “service”. I have redacted my emails to hide personal info, but you get the point. We used to receive many emails about outages and now they no longer send them. I should honestly post those, so y’all can see how often it happens but I would be here a while. I really wish I would have gone with ATT and literally gotten 16 Mbps. It would be more reliable at this point.Original: Trash. It never works. We have had it since January and it maybe worked 2-3 days our first month and I’m being generous and excluding the days California had awful weather. It is currently out right now and I’m having to work off my phone, because my computer is useless since it’s out AGAIN. I should have done ATT broadband at 16 mbps. At this point their dialup service would be faster and more reliable. What a waste of 75/month. Do not go through this company.

Yusef R. is so incredibly disrespectful he actually brought up my review and in his words said I came for them he needs some serious customer service training. I am asking for very simple help and cannot get it from him or anyone else. To say I am frustrated is an understatement. Do Better.I have never met a more incompetent business. I am required to get my internet service through this company due to my apartment, if I had a choice trust me I would be going anywhere else. Every single time I have had to get my internet reset they ask me if I have a router, I do not. Within the past few weeks I’ve had an unpleasant time with this internet provider. My home service has been out at least 3 times in a month and the duration last for at least 18 hours. When contacting the customer service I’m told “ we are currently working on the issue and to use my mobile hotspot”. I never leave reviews but I just want to bring awareness. My community in the San Diego area has a contract with the company so it’s in the lease and you have to just deal with it. It’s unfortunate because some of us run businesses or work from home and we may possibly have to call out due to the lack services in the area.

Great service and conversation with Andrew! He arrived early for the appointment, but communicated beforehand to ensure it was ok. He was in and out, offering to assist with device connections before leaving and ensured we had the phone number for customer service line in case we needed it.Shortly after he left, there were some connectivity issues, but the team was able to correct it within 8 minutes of being on the call. Service recovery is often more important than the initial service. Great job!We are also renting a router, pictured with the review. Easy $10 per month or you can supply your own router.

This is the worst internet provider I have ever had the misfortune of being locked in a contract with.Regular speeds of a whopping 1MBPS if not totally out! Spotty service at best. My internet, for example, is expected to be out until they can get a technician out here IN FOUR DAYS...FOUR DAYS...in this economy?!I work from home, and my advice is simple: Dont get them. And especially dont get them if you work from home. Its not worth the headache. I am required to have them according to my lease, but this company is so bad it is making me consider breaking the lease entirely, on an apartment that I truly love (with the exception being Bai Connect). Otherwise you will use your data hotspotting in your own apartment....which is just not it.All of these exceptional reviews make me feel like whoever is reviewing them is either A) a bot, or B) totally and completely delusional. Or maybe Bai Connect has just finally driven me to the total brink of my sanity.Anyway, do yourself a favor. The apartments i moved into already had the internet connected with the rental that i had to use. when i moved in my modem would not work so i tried for a week to get someone out there to fix it. They came out and it is still not working and i cant get anyone to help me. If i didnt have them looped onto my rent i would be using another service. Worst customer service experience Ive had with an internet service provider. I paid to start service a week ago and have been trying to coordinate with their customer support since then to get the service working. After multiple calls and emails there has been no progress, just a bunch of escalated tickets. Reps Ive spoken with have been dismissive and now theyre not even allowing me to cancel the service. In other words, Im being charged for a service that I cannot use, am not being allowed to cancel, and now Ill need to contact an attorney. To save face, theyll probably reply to this review claiming that I have been insufficiently available to assist in troubleshooting because I am at work between 8am-6pm. DO NOT GET SERVICE THROUGH BAI CONNECT. You will regret it.

I have never had a good experience with this company in the three years of being forced to use them.Don’t upgrade and save your money. You won’t get the speed you pay for even with their promise that bandwidth is dedicated to each unit.They don’t use a satellite link, but rather line of sight link, so if there’s bad weather, you don’t get the reliability they promise.I lost a remote job because they couldn’t get their infrastructure right.Get cox.

I have not had stable internet in several months. Im told there is a building/wire problem, with no ETA of fixture and no reimbursement. I am a student and I work as well, both are incredibly hindered by not having internet. It has been MONTHS. Im not one to leave a bad review but this is ridiculous! The only reason I have stuck with BAI is because of my apartments contract with them. I literally do not know what to do at this point. Im using data to post this, of course! The whole Bai Connect team was very efficient both over the phone and in-person. Stay away unless you have exact 2 year plan and remember the exact contract term.They are saying every 2 year, auto renew for another 2 yearso if you move or whatever reason, even your place disappear you still have to pay till 2 year endThey dont send notice about contract end and renewal, they just renew another contract term w/o noticeMy building shut down so I had to leave after 7 years BAICONNECT(formerly AERIOCONNECT) and they are still charging 6th month and keep saying its in the contract and will be charged no matter what

He also checked to make sure our router extenders and everything else work before leaving.It’s techs like him and customer service reps like Yusef that keep us as customers. I have been trying to set up wifi in my apartment, and because BAI Connect is the sole provider, I have no other options. On September 7th 2023, I had a very pleasant experience in settling the discrepancies in my bill. The person I spoke to in accounting sent me copes of all the unpaid invoices, and went over the reasons my balance was showing the amount that it did. I spoke to the billing person a few times, and she was most helpful.. I do not remember her name. The manager of the call center department was also very helpful in answering my questions, and getting messages to the billing department for me. In the end the matter was settled very satisfactorily, and I was able to pay my balance for the rest f the 2023 year. I let billing know that I would be paying for the whole year of service for 2024 in December of 2023.

The absolute worst company. Do not advise using them. Our internet turns off at least 5-20 times a day everyday. When I asked for credit it has been months and they just say they are escalating it. Its a joke how bad they are. No billing. Literally. No way to check or log onto your account online. They are working on that capability. I guess they consider online accounts to be Sci-Fi. I have been a customer for many years. When Bel Air first came to my complex they were amazing. However, after they were sold the customer service has completely crashed. If you have an issue that is anything other than turning your modem on/off its a complete pain. I was told by one person that my building had an outage, then another tech called and told me the outage was fixed and the guy on the other line needed to refresh his screen. So Im speaking to two guys who wont agree on the problem and wont speak to each other. The first tech says he will have Tier 2 call me in the morning. They never did. When I called again and asked why I was never contacted they had no answer. When I asked them to call Tier 2 they explained that they can not call them directly. He tells me that Tier 2 would not call as there was an outage. When I asked if they outage was fixed he said yes. When I asked when the outage was fixed he tells me he does not know. I still dont have internet.In short stay far away from this company. They are not eager to help you at all. Im sure they will respond how sorry they are and that I should please call customer service.

They don’t care about your feelings. They will only say “I don’t know and I am sorry” “I have nothing to do with that”. The specialist I talked to is called Adrianna. When you wanna know more details, she just wanna finish the phone call asap. I can hear a kid or child crying behind her. Maybe that is the reason. Do not go for them. They are the worst ever. I paid for the installation and had them for about six months. The service was down for four days for no reason and they wouldn’t send anyone out to fix. I worked from home and needed internet. All they could say was “there is nothing we can do at this point”. I had to switch and lost a whole month. They don’t prorate and refund. By the way, the router requires a monthly lease fee and you have to return when cancel service. There is a high installation fee. Pretty much after six months the cost is the same as other well known providers. I didn’t really save anything with them.

When I finally reach somebody by phone on the next business day, they tell me they cancelled the appointment because I had not signed the terms fo agreement, which they never sent to me in the first place. There were no apologies for this absurd farce of errors on the companys part.Stay away. If I had any other options, I would go elsewhere, but I am stuck with BAI Connect because it is the only Internet service provider that services my building.Oh, and I still dont have internet, I am posting this review using the Internet from my cell service provider.

The installation process was pretty quick and smooth. The Tech guy name was Alex Rocha, he is a really awesome decent guy. Helped me with my questions and tested everything and make sure all works. Also, he gave me some advice about the router setting, it was pretty good. Overall, awesome service for someone new just moved to the city. Highly recommended!

This is the most inefficient customer service and the slowest technical response. They put barriers between their clients and the technical teams so you cannot get a hold of anyone who can actually provide you with a solution or an appointment. They make careless mistakes. We had an appointment scheduled for this morning that got cancelled on their end, and now theyre making us wait two more days to get a technician out here. Do yourself a favor and go with a bigger more well-known company.

This is seriously the best Internet service I’ve ever had and I’ve lived in a number of different cities. The customer service is unparalleled and I’ve never had a service interruption until today. When I called Customer Service to report the outage, I immediately got a service associate on the phone. No wait time at all. I spoke with Kyle and he promptly got my service going again and even offered me a lower rate going forward. Seriously, I can’t say enough about BAI and I wish more people would use them so that they can put all of the other bigger names on notice and force them to offer better service. I’d give zero stars if I could! I’ve been waiting for a call from billing for over three weeks. I’ve called 4x now and each time am told there’s nothing that can be done. I have to wait for billing to call me. Insane. I’m being charged monthly for a router I sent back months ago. How crazy is it that I can’t even speak to anybody about getting fraudulently charged?

Andrew did an excellent job. He went far beyond what was necessary to do what was best for me. He checked a connection behind the wall, and discovered something that should be done better. He fixed it, explaining what he was doing. He replaced a faulty router upgraded the modem, and got it all working. Then he checked everything else that might be affected, and helped me get those updated and functioning properly. I wish that all services were as thorough. Also, Mike did a great job of keeping me informed of the situation with my service call, when Andrew was delayed. Bel Air does everything better than the big companies.

The customer service with Bel Air is excellent. Andrew arrived on time and carefully installed my internet service. He offered to walk me through the process in case I had any questions about the installation. Andrew was very friendly, courteous and worked quickly and efficiently. Have had a great experience with BAI so far. It was very easy to call and set up all my services. The options were easy to choose from. They were fast to get back to me and help me set up everything. Terrible service representatives, literal outages for at least 24 hours, would not recommend. Worse part is building only offers BAI which is gross (the Harper koreatown). Don’t move into apartments with only one service provider! That is where the issue lies. Bai had a lot of fake reviews for some reason but I’m sure they just make fake accounts to offset the bad reviews. Terrible company!

Bel Air has been great. I recently switch my service from one unit to a new one and they handled it effortlessly even with minor technical issues. Customer service was once again fantastic. We have had internet issues for the 6 years we’ve lived in our building. techs came and went, we replaced the router 3 times. but andrew was the first one to actually open the wall panel and discovered that out coax cable had been patched with MASKING TAPE. thank you andrew!
