Baby Wave is a wonderful place for a family viewing of the ultrasound. The viewing room spacious and the decor is cozy. The couch was a large comfortable sectional with room for many. The TV was large and easy to see from the couch. The photos and video we were given as part of the package were good quality.Jennifer conducted the ultrasound and she was so thorough in explaining what we were seeing on the screen. She was so friendly and her enthusiasm for her job was refreshing.We were very excited to be offered a darling stuffed animal with the babys recorded heartbeat embedded in it.Prices were so reasonable and worth every penny!We highly recommend Baby Wave.

Stacey was amazing. She made my brother and I feel so welcomed. UnFortunately, my husband could not come to this appointment due to the military, so I was fortunate enough to have my brother in town and she was so accommodating to him as well.The room that you do the Ultrasound in was so comfortable and super cute. She had soft music playing, and was extremely friendly. I loved everything about my appointment.Inside of the business was very clean, and well put together. Inside the waiting room, there was a little play area and TV for children if you break more than just yourself and spouse or partner.I bought the 40 premium package, and she did on her military discount which took $10 off, I was very thankful for that. I did also purchase a heartbeat keepsake for $35 which was for the smaller animal and I got a monkey.I would definitely go back, and recommend anyone looking for some great memories/photo/videos with your little one in the womb, this is your place to go. I also recommend getting the 4D premium package, because there are a lot of perks that are listed on her website rather than just the regular 4D appointment.

I had a wonderful experience here. Came here for my 4th baby gender reveal! I wish I knew about this place with the rest of my kiddos as well! It’s lovely. Tech was so nice and patient. The building itself was nice and clean and very relaxing. I came with my husband and 3 kids. Can’t wait to come back!

This was such an amazing experience! She helped us keep it a secret this wasn’t just an ultrasound visit but instead a gender reveal for my attending family members. She was so fun, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I believe she went above and beyond for our experience and I am grateful to have found her studio. I had an amazing experience at Baby Wave! I came in feeling so anxious because I am early in pregnancy but the environment is so beautiful & calming I was able to relax & enjoy seeing my baby. I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Baby Wave! From the moment I walked in, Jennifer provided excellent customer service, exuding a friendly, genuine, and caring attitude. The photos and videos of my baby were amazing, capturing so many precious moments. They also have a very thoughtful extra add-on, a plush stuffed animal with babys heartbeat. Its such a special keepsake that my husband and I will cherish forever. I highly recommend this business to any expecting parents looking for a memorable and heartwarming ultrasound experience. Just finished our appointment, and we cannot say enough good about our experience! Gave this as a gift to my grandson and his wife. We were all so happy with the experience, we signed up for another one! We also got the animal with the heartbeat, which is so sweet. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, and no matter where you were sitting you had a great view of the screen. I would highly recommend Baby Wave for many reasons - the experience, the atmosphere, the available options and the prices.

Went in at 24 weeks pregnant, and for my birthday my experience was truly amazing. Brought along my mom, brother, and step dad we got the best shots of little my boy ! Studio was very clean and ran by the nicest woman ever ! After my appointment I was givin two free gifts 🥺 . Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough good things about the ladies at Baby Wave!They have been the most warm, welcoming people to my husband and I. We are expecting our first baby and have been coming almost weekly since we found out I was pregnant. Each time they have made me feel as though they are just as excited to see me and my little one as my husband and I are.They have also been incredibly resourceful. As a first time mom, trying to find a starting place for prep was overwhelming. But at my first visit, I left with a free diaper bag, formula, and they even signed me up for their Mommy Care Kit! It didn’t take long to arrive at my door and I got a ton of stuff that I’ve been using throughout my pregnancy: a support belt, compression socks, thrombosis stockings, and a breast pump that I got to choose! All for free! It gave me a great start to preparing for my baby and I didn’t have to lift a finger thanks to these amazing ladies.They are much more than an ultrasound boutique. They go above and beyond for their momma’s and I am so grateful to have found them during my pregnancy! Highly recommend.

Baby Wave has made my pregnancy as a first time mother much more exciting than it already was. I had my first ultrasound here and has been back ever since. Ultrasound tech Amanda is so sweet and I can tell that she loves what she does. The ambiance here is so cozy and homey and it makes the experience feel more special and intimate vs a medical setting. We really enjoyed our experience here! The facility was clean, parking is easy and the woman who did my scan was wonderful. My baby was being pretty difficult and did not want to pose for pictures but she worked really hard to help get the baby in a good position for the scan. She was gentle, kind and knowledgeable. We had such a great experience! I went at 32 weeks and was scanned by Jennifer. Our baby was facing away from us and shy at first, but Jennifer was great with all the tricks to move her around and we were able to get so many great pics! Stacey has done a beautiful job with the studio. It is super cute, clean and welcoming. The bed for me was SO COMFY and we had all of our family join us on the big cozy couch. It was so special to be able to share this experience with a group of our loved ones. Great playlist too! Loved looking at the cute outfits in the reception area too. Will continue to recommend this place to anyone!

We bought the premium service and it was very well worth it. My husband was very hesitant in the beginning, but now he wants to go back for a second ultrasound. She was amazing and the place was amazing. She is so nice and made our experience beyond pleasant. She is also very knowledgeable. I am a first time mom and it made me really sad when I did my ultrasound with my provider, and they would say I could only take one person in with me. But I have a big family, and I also wanted to have them experience seeing the baby with me. I called several places in San Diego that would at least accommodate 10 people and she is the only ultrasound studio that could do that. She has really good customer service. She also reaches out right away and communicates very well. My entire family was very impressed with her. The studio is also very clean and cozy. I also love that everybody is free to take pictures and videos, in addition, she sends you all the pictures and videos. Very awesome, highly, highly recommend! Such a great experience whether you choose to do a small group or large group.

This is our third experience in a 4D/Boutique Ultrasound type place. The first 2 were about 5 years ago at another business, and this is just my personal experience.PROS:*Best pricing & packages around SD. I compared around 5 different places.*Our tech was extremely talented, super sweet, caring, and attentive. Absolutely loved her. I believe her name was Jenny or Jennifer?*The bed Mama lays on was surprisingly comfortable, a nice big wedge pillow so youre not uncomfortable, and a private bathroom in the room.*Cute and cozy, kind of a home-like feel to it. Absolutely didnt feel like an establishment.CONS:*The heartbeat animals were more expensive, not as cute IMO, and not as much of a selection. None of them stood out to me, so I let my daughter pick.*You are only allowed 10 additional guests, which for many works fine, but for our huge family that isnt enough. So we made the decision to not invite anyone vs some people being left out.*There is a waiting room, but you cannot wait in there. We had to wait outside or in our car. Had I known that I would have texted when we were 5 or 10 minutes away.*The screen is significantly smaller than the other place we went to, and smaller than quite a few I researched. It was big enough to see though, and I suppose that is the point.Overall I feel satisfied, and would recommend to other Mamas to Be!

Beautiful experience to share with all the grandparents-to-be. Very comfortable and chic studio, youre allowed ten people in with you, the room is big with a huge couch for everyone to sit and view the scan on the big screen. The girls are also lovely, highly recommend!

Both of my technicians were absolutely amazing! The first time I came in, my baby was being stubborn and wouldn’t show us anything, so she rescheduled me for a later time that day and so we went back a little later but baby was still being stubborn but the technician didn’t give up. She searched and searched and FINALLY was able to catch the gender. They were awesome!! Incredible service and they both were super super nice!!

Such a great place! Decor is absolutely adorable and the staff is very welcoming. By far the nicest 4D studio in San Diego. The place is HUGE! So great to be able to bring your whole family to see your baby and share in the experience. Was especially helpful for me, having a baby during Covid, since my husband couldn’t come to any of our doctor’s appointments. It was the only way he was able to witness an ultrasound. I wish it was open sooner because I would’ve loved to go throughout my whole pregnancy and watch her grow. The tech was incredible and worked with me a ton, as my baby did not want to show her face and I was already 40 weeks along. She managed to get a ton of amazing photos despite the odds. So thankful! My experience at Baby Wave was a great one.I was really nervous about going in and getting the ultrasound done. I was worried what if I wasnt hydrated enough and I couldnt see the baby (my ultrasounds from my doctor were horrible).When we got to the door it was locked, but there was a sign that it was locked due to a session in progress, which I really appreciated because it doesnt disturb whomever is having their session before you.Once the prior session ended,Keira greeted us, very happy and enthusiastic, which helped eased my nerves. we went through what would be done today and she went to prepare the room. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Seems to fit about 6 people comfortably but I would ask the tech how many can attend prior. The screen to see the ultrasound was very large and helped alot considering my vision is not the best. Keira went over how the session would be recorded, how measurements and pictures would be taken and sent to us later. We did the 2D Quick Peek and it was just what I needed. Seeing our baby for the first time, clearly and on a large screen, really made my heart swoon. Keira was very encouraging and thorough explaining what we are seeing, letting us hear the heartbeat, providing great side profiles and full body pictures. She mentioned our baby was very active and kept moving, which was good to hear considering I felt like I hadnt felt anything just yet.I highly recommend this place as well as the experience itself. Very different than my experience at the doctors office. More personal and inviting rather than just feeling like a patient with a doctor who needs to move onto the next patient.Needless to say, since my first visit, I have returned two more times, with a different technician each time but still providing a comfortable and exciting experience. My first experience was more than words can explain. I felt like I was part of a family. Even for 20 min. It was intimate, even with my mom and my daughter. I never experienced anything like this before. The lady was so calm, and talked me through everything. She was more than friendly and helpful and made the whole experience worth it! Came for my daughter’s ultrasound and was so impressed with everything. My grand daughter is a little shy and made the tech work extra hard but she ended up getting such great pictures. The quality of the 5D was better than I could have imagined. The tech was so personable and cracking jokes. My whole family was so impressed. Just made everyone feel so welcome. We came on a busy Saturday but they were on time and we never felt rushed. Top notch and will definitely recommend to all our pregnant friends. Definitely come here. Great experience at 4D! I have had some anxiety about my pregnancy and wanted to do an ultrasound to make sure everything was OK. I booked an appointment the same day. The ultrasound room was so comforting, more like a living room setting than a medical facility. The room had a giant screen where I could see the ultrasound images. The ultrasound tech was super nice and professional. I was so happy yo see my little peanut and see that everything was ok! I got a bunch of printed pics of the ultrasound which were also emailed to me. The whole thing lasted about 15 minutes and cost only $40. $40 for peace of mind that everything is ok with my pregnancy was absolutely worth it!

I visited a few weeks ago and I couldn’t be more happier with my experience. Not only did I book the appointment 5 minutes before the appointment time, ( I was also the last one of the evening) I was 5 minutes late. They still welcomed me in and did not rush my appointment. I felt welcomed from the beginning. Stacy and the other tech ( sorry I forgot her name) were friendly and made me feel comfortable. This is my 5th pregnancy and I have gone to 2 other 3D/4D places and this one by far is my favorite. For the price point, the amount of time they spend with you and the pictures and videos you get, it was a great deal. I cannot say enough good things about them and I look forward to going to them later on in this pregnancy for more pictures!

I had such a great experience from the first time.This is our third pregnancy.We started with the gender bloodtesting at about 6-8 and yes it was correct all three times. From there it washistory. We been back every since. Stacy and Jen are absolutely the sweetest ladies from day one. Being high risk and just wanted to reassure everything is still going well feels amazing and not being rushed or judged for coming bi weekly. They captured the best pictures. Wonderful experience everytime. Its a very serene and cozy environment to see your baby, the ultrasound technicians are just the best with the warmest demeanor. I have so much more ultrasound time with my baby at Baby Wave 4D than the couple minutes of ultrasound with a medical provider, not to mention the private ultrasounds calm my anxiety while waiting the several weeks for my next prenatal appointment. Wow! I am so glad I opted for this personal experience for a gender reveal instead of waiting for the results from my doctor. My husband and I felt so special. Having undivided attention, receiving so many pictures of the ultra sound, a video, and a welcoming and friendly experience from Stacey. It was so amazing we couldn’t stop smiling the rest of the day. We also included the 4-D and a stuffed animal of our baby’s heartbeat. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to book another appointment when I’m 30 weeks! You can include up to 10 people so a great way to involve your loved ones. They practiced great trauma informed listening skills and the whole experience was just far more soothing than with even a high risk OB. I would come back every week if I could. Wait time is not at all long again and the waiting room is very comfortable so it wouldnt matter to me anyways. I wouldve been back again for a third and fourth but I had to be induced at 16 weeks due to complications so I am sorry for not returning. But if I do fall pregnant again I will be a happy loyal return customer. Also they are very generous in both emailing and giving physical copies of the ultrasounds.

I brought my husband as a late fathers day gift since a deployment made him miss all the normal ultrasounds. I loved my experience. The price was in my budget, the office was beautiful. Im pretty sure Jennifer was my ultrasound tech (masks can make it hard to tell) and she was super friendly, made me feel comfortable, and was able to get several lovely pictures of my baby. Being used to ultrasounds in medical settings, the viewing area caught me by surprise as the bed for me to lay on was big and cozy, the couch for my husband was large and looked cozy, the screen to see my baby was huge and the entire room was well decorated, The entire process was easy, fun, and memorable. I am currently in the military and stationed in Japan and was unsuccessful trying to find a place that would do 4d ultrasounds. We paid for a 5D ultrasound but had trouble seeing the baby the first time so we rescheduled another appointment, completely free! We wanted to confirm by ultrasound that baby is a boy and they were able to see right away 🥰 The atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable, the waiting room was adorably decorated and the screen we got to see baby on was huge! My husband and my little ones were quite happy with the giant cozy couch too lol. I got more photos than I could have dreamed of at the most reasonable price. We’ll definitely be back to see our little one before he gets here!

My family and I went to this location while I was in town visiting my sister. I was able to take my husband, daughter, mom and sister with me so they could get a peek at the baby and we could figure out the gender for our reveal. The woman who did my ultrasound was so sweet and very welcoming. The environment was cozy and clean. We decided to do a gender reveal as a family since my girls and husband havent been able to be a part of doctors appointments. My girls and husband were able to see the baby first time, hear the heartbeat and the best part to reveal the gender together! After Stacey revealing we were having a baby BOY we all had happy tears. Amazing experience!! We had a hard time trying to see baby’s gender but the technician was so patient with us and kept trying until baby was able to uncross legs! I came to baby wave recently for a 5D ultrasound at 20 weeks. I knew it was a little early to see her well but the ultrasound tech did absolutely everything in her power to try and get good pictures of my little girl. Unfortunately she wouldn’t cooperate but thankfully we got the package that allows us to come back and try again. We are from out of town and will be coming back in a month or so to try again! I wish I could remember the name of the ultrasound tech but we have nothing but high praise for her! She really did try super hard for us and we are so thankful for that(: we are very excited for our next appointment and recommend Baby Wave to anyone in the SD area.

Very kind providers. You dont feel rushed at all or that your questions are a burden as with some OB offices. They are great as answering questions and great at listening. Specifically they have great trauma informed listening skills something that most providers lack; and they make people who have had troublesome histories with pregnancies and OB care feel heard and understood. They took their time scanning the baby and worked to get the best angles of baby. Their prices are very very reasonable for what they provide you. If I could Id get all my formal ultrasounds with them instead of my OBs office. Also the office does feel very warm and inviting. Thank you for the great service everybody! This was the best experience possible! I don’t recall her name (and I’m so sorry for that) but she was kind, patient, reassuring and was so thorough! Not gonna lie, this place made me want to get a 4D ultrasound and Im not even pregnant haha! I was sold on the vibe, the story, and the overall experience Stacey provided. My sister, who is currently expecting her third child, was able to get crystal clear pictures of my handsome nephew. Upon seeing his little face we naturally started talking about who he looked more like. The room was split 50/50, when we asked Stacey to be the tie breaker haha! She gave a complete breakdown of the nose, lips, hair, hands, and adorable little toes. It was evident she had been doing this for years and loves every minute of it. Ultimately, our side of the family won! We were also lucky enough to receive an ornament with my nephews sonogram as a holiday special/ gift. Ive been to different 3D/4D places throughout San Diego but this is by far the best spot to see your little baby. The place itself is very clean, modern style decorations and furnishing and it has a very comfortable feel to it as well. The bed where the prego mommies lay on is big and so comfortable. The couch that the family sits on is huge and soft. The ultrasound machine that is used is new and top of the line(it looks fancy). :) My sister in law had her gender reveal last Saturday and it accommodated a large Nicaraguan family that really enjoyed the entire session! The ultrasound tech/owner was so friendly and bubbly which made the experience so much better. Even though my niece had her legs crossed and giving the tech a hard time she was still able to figure out gender. Thanks Babywave for such a lovely experience that are truly priceless moments.
