The staff were all very helpful. I was on time for my appt and only had to wait a couple of minutes in a very spacious waiting area. The doctor answered all of my questions and seemed to really enjoy his profession. I would definitely recommend this office.

Dr. Forest Murphy crushed it. He took the time to slowly and understandably explain my cataract problem using diagrams from the computer. Good listener and has a very pleasant demeanor about him. I will update later, after surgery if needed, and new glasses.

Doctor was good and friendly but he said I dont need prescription eyeglasses. That I could just buy some over the counter at the drugstore. I asked to see their glasses anyways. And the ladies there said not to buy the drugstore eyeglasses but to only get prescription, because the drug store eyeglasses are just magnifying glasses, theyre not actually prescription. Not to be dumb but I dont know what the difference is being this is my first time ever going to an eye doctor. Either way I thought it was kind of interesting that they contradicted each other. But besides that everybody was really nice.

Azul Vision (California Eye Specialists) is excellent. Very attentive doctors and staff. Dr. Timothy Hammill gave me my 1st post-op exam and answered all of my questions, however, at times he explained things a little too fast, but having said that, everything went well.

The atmosphere of the waiting room is very comfortable. My wait time wasnt very long, my exam was handle in a professional manner by both the nurses assistant and doctor. I found my visit to be a very worthy experience. I go back in a few more months for another exam, I cant wait.

Check-in was quick and easy as long as you pre- check in from the texts they send you ahead of time. Plenty of parking around the facility since its located in a business center. I was seen at my scheduled time, and out of the office in less than an hour. The staff was nice and friendly. Dr. took the time to go over what to expect and gave me options. He asked me if I had any questions prior to sending me on my way. This place gets busy, so expect for future appointments to be a month + away.

Todays (12/15/23) visit was very disappointing. I waited a while to be called back. waited a longer while for the doctor to come in (so long the light went out on me, I sat in the dark because my moving didnt turn it back on). I had been at your office for over an hour. I thought the appt. was for a vision test but no. I appreciated the doctor apologizing but I now have to go back and do the whole thing over, only hoping I dont have to wait again only to be told I wasted my time. My one big question is - Should I, or my insurance have to pay for this visit? I hope not.

This was my second visit to this office. Pleasant surroundings and treated right away. I was called back to the exam room. Where the Doctor explained to me what was going to happen. Nice Dr. He took his time and I was comfortable with him. He gave me my eye test and explained every step. He read my results and took the time to answer my question. Very pleasant visit! Will see them again in a year.

It was an okay visit. The doctor and Intern were good. Then came time to make another appointment and they decide to have a work meeting of their assistants in the lobby... so I wait... the next appointment isnt due until Nov. so I stand up to leave and one of the assistants comes over to see if I need help... she then makes another appointment... I had told her Nov but she made it for Sept... Told her I wasnt going to come in two times... so she makes it for the one day in Nov I already have an appointment... she changes it... Not sure I would want to work there... The assistants all have to have their embroidered scrubs/ pants/ jackets... company gives a $175 dollar clothing allowance but you have to pay if your choices go over budget... You cant wear your own sweater or jacket... must be an approved one... I guess it looks good but sure am glad that I am retired and not worrying about a job..

Even after I have confirmed my appointment and preregistered, I consistently get subsequent emails for the same purpose. I had to wait 50 minutes for my last appointment for a field of vision exam. At no time during my wait was I told that there was going to be a delay, nor was there any acknowledgement when I finally went in that I had been kept waiting far after my appointment time.

If I could give zero stars I totally would terrible service. The lady I spoke to said my insurance only covers eyeglasses not contacts and I told her that is totally fine I will pay out of pocket for contacts. He enthusiastically explains all details of the exams for eye pressure, peripheral vision in both eyes and comparison of latest results of accurate daily eye drop dosage. Dr. Knight has a very calm demeanor and has a quiet way about him explaining my progress and when he has to inject medication into my eye, I hardly even feel the injection. These people are clowns. They canceled my appt for February which was four months ago, they told me they would reschedule me as I had a minor eye surgery. There ophthalmologist Dr Warner is no longer there so they have no other ophthalmologist at any of there locations. They had no appt for months and referred me all the way in Pomona with they dont have an appt until August. Six moths with my eye messed up because they mo longer have an ophthalmologist and wont fit me Im to see any of there other doctors do to them canceling my appt. Dont trust them.

They don’t respect appointment times, never return phone calls and overall their professionalism is non existent. I have been trying since October 2021 to have my Father’s surgery schedule and every single time I am told I will get a call back which of course never happens. I call today again and now I’m being told there is no record of my previous calls. Everyone from the clinic staff to the customer service representatives have A LOT to learn about customer service and Patient care/services. Dont bother coming here. My first visit, they forgot to check me in, so I was not seen and had to be rescheduled. They never have availability, so their appointments are always scheduled so far out. I was suppose to get a call back from one of the staff, never did! The call center tried to transfer me to the office multiple times, and they dont answer. I had cataract removal and it went very well, no pain and my doctor saw me the next day. Dr. Luke made sure I had enough antibiotic drops for my eye. This time was SO much worse than prior/during COVID times.On April 11, I called to schedule a combination appointment - vision and medical. The scheduler said okay, you got it - FOUR months from now - August 10. Nothing sooner.So I waited, and finally the happy day arrived!It was the WORST medical experience of my life so far!They knew 40 minutes into that 3.5 hour experience that I was ANYTHING BUT pleased.1) I waited in a large, over-crowded, semi-comfortable waiting room (a too loud distracting TV on one side, too loud musak everywhere else. After the first 20 minutes waiting, I found a spot mid-room where I could not but overhear several patients and their family/friend advocates complaining.2) After waiting another 20 minutes, my name was called and I was escorted into an exam room by a young technician. We discussed a little of my general/eye health, and then she announced that she would now dilate my eyes. NO!I explained that my first priority during this appointment was to get a vision test so I could get a new driving prescription, long overdue. Therefore a vision test was MY first order of business. The tech, asked, Oh, did you request that when you made the appointment?Indeed, when I made the appointment - WAY back on April 11 - I did ask for BOTH a vision test and a wellness test to be conducted at the same time. Just like most ALL ophthalmologists, even Dr Diggory, did as recently as FOUR years ago ... WOW, maybe some others still do!3) Okay so ... the tech excused herself, only to return with another tech (her superior?), who immediately explained, Because of your age (excuse me?) you may need cataract surgery, and if so a vision test right now would be a waste of your money.Interesting that she should mention my money. With my insurance, I pay NOTHING. It is MY insurance overpaying CA Eye Specialists overblown fees!They both knew I was very angry, but they werent budging, so I allowed them to dilate my eyes; first the numbing agent to check pressure, etc. Then the dilation drops.At which point I was sent back to the waiting room. I mostly kept my eyes closed, trying desperately to go Zen, but still, all I could hear were other waiting patients complaints.4) After another 30 minutes, another young tech took me to another room and dropped even more drops into my eyes. Tho I asked, she did not tell me what the drops were for. All I know is that when she conducted her exam - with the magnifying light flashing about to see to the back of ones eye ... that light was burning my eyes. NEVER before have I experienced that pain. All the tech could say was, Im so sorry but I cant see the back of your eye without the light this bright. To which I replied, Sweetie, maybe YOU need your eyes examined!After my torture, the tech left to consult with Dr Diggory.5) DR DIGGORY kind of jogged into my exam room ten minutes later...Well, the GOOD news is that you do not have macular degeneration.WHAT THE ... did anyone ever ... was that supposed to be a joke?!?!?Add insult to injury, he said in one quick sentence, on a cataract surgery scale of one>ten - one being best, ten being worst - I was a 2.5 - no surgery needed at this time (I already knew that)Any other questions - no, well ... oh?(May I FINALLY have my vision test, PLEASE?)Oh yes, make an appointment at the front desk.6) I was directed back to the waiting room where I waited YET ANOTHER 20 minutes to finally be called by the scheduler. What are we scheduling today?A really simple vision test that should have been done today....How does November 8 work for you?NONE OF THIS WORKS FOR ME AT ALL!My primary physician will be finding more reputable ophthalmologists. Your services are no longer needed - thx!

Am always happy with the service but my last appointment to see the eye doctor for my new glasses,, 7/5/22, shes new and her first day and she said that she got 20 years experience . She need to ask the nurse/tech to help her with the computer and also, all the equipment and tools that she needed . I dont know her name. I am not sure what shes doing and am not positive and confident about my new eye prescriptions because she told me that my new prescription, WILL BE LOWER THAN MY OLD PRESCRIPTION. I asked her why do I have to get a new glasses if my new prescription is lower than my old prescription? She decided to check my eyes again and erase and change the one she wrote, also, she decided to ask and call DrMatthew L. Diggory for help. They gave me my new prescription with Dr Diggory signature .Dr. DIggory is a nice eye doctor. I got him too especially when my do doctor is not schedule to work to that officeHes very knowledgeable and very helpful.

Not too happy😠! Was told at my last visit that I had a skin tag on my eyelid, California Eye Specialist scheduled an appointment for today (10/27/22). Drove from Lake Arrowhead to be told it’s probably not covered by Medicare insurance and they have to check. That should have been done before we got there. Now we have to wait another week or two. Every time we asked a question, they were pointing fingers at each other. We’ll see what happens🧐

Im very disappointed with the lack of service California Eye has given. I had eye surgery in July 2021, twice my post op appointments have been rescheduled. Yesterday, Oct, 28th I was suppose to have the Post op appointment. Little did I know that when I got there the doctor was backed up 1 1/2 hrs on his appointments. I refused to wait an additional 1 1/2 hrs delay. I waited 3 months plus for a Post op appointment, besides not knowing that everything worked out ok. My next appointment is Nov 12th well see if that appointment is kept.

They finally took me back at 11:40 with a different doctor than I had made appt. with. She then rushed me through exam and took me out to pick some glasses and the girl there printed my prescription numbers and said I would have to come back to pick glasses out cause they were now closed for lunch. This office is a disorganized mess. They have a super long phone menu you have to sit through every time you call, and I was overcharged $200 when they were supposed to bill my insurance. It took an hour to get ahold of the right person and the issue was still not resolved. They also are always running behind. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office.

The Doctors of California Eye Specialist are not only professional but they are too helpful to their customers . Dt Luke has done Cataract surgery of my wife last year . Mean while my husbands eye is still irritating and in pain. By far the worst experience with this company.The only thing I can give the Redlands office credit in is that the office is lovely and great parking space. I had no issues with the front staff but the company should really invest on more knowledgeable Dr. and specialist.
