This is a great place for shopping!Stopped by for lunch and was surprised to find a shopping center with big names, including Walmart, Ross, Sketchers and Forever 21. This Forever 21 is called Red. Not sure why. Never saw any Red store before. Didnt know it exist.

I enjoy shopping at this plaza. I could shop at Walmart then have lunch at one of there many places to eat. Then head to Michaels for my home decor, off to Petco to get something for my dogs. The all in one shopping center!

The worst Walmart. Its a shame to see how the Latin community is treated with the worst customer service. We waited for about 40 minutes to get a bottle of aspirin, the button does not work and I kept asking the person in front checking receipts at the door, I waited and saw people change shifts and still no one came to help. I even asked the pharmacists, and that was worse they werent able to help my aunt who only speaks Spanish (again this is a predominantly Latin community) so they just dismissed her, and when I came they had an attitude and said to ask the person at the door again. Well after one person decided to leave without medication there was another lady also waiting with us. Finally someone came and no apology no customer service, just some sass from the young lady. Please do better Wal-Mart and Latin employees, help your community out and give decent customer service. We are a big portion of the population & contributors its time we are respected as such.

The food was good but the service its really bad. Hostess was terrible. My server wasnt to nice never got her name she was senior lady very slow i ask for coffee but never got offer if I wanted a refill. My husband and I order the special dinners that comes with soup salad and dessert but we never got ask if we were ready for are desert. So we didnt get any I was very disappointed with the service Im never going back there again.

This shopping plaza has everything you need to have a nice shopping experience its clean and organized and there are lots of options on where to eat. The parking lot is always full but once you find a good space youre good to go. I like that they added a new place to get smoothies and shakes. You can shop, eat and simply walk around and you will have a pleasant time.

Parking Lot always packed, thanks to In and Out Burgers. Have to wait for parking at times but I guess its worth it. The Atmosphere is Good and People just relaxing on what I believe is kind of like a Food Court. Nice... Thats what we need, good community.

Great variety of stores. Its new so everything looks modern and really clean. South gate isnt the best city but the environment for this shopping center is actually really nice. Theyre always puffing to new stores so its not always the same thing over and over. Is usually packed, definitely is packed on Fridays and weekends.

Had a really hard time finding the charger and we were even told they didnt work. We were able to charge (its by the Walmart). The walkability of this shopping center is miserable. It is all about the car. Avoid unless you need to go here.

I love the convenience of finally having stores I actually shop at so close to home, but the parking lot is sheer hell. Why do In n Outs still not understand that they need an entire mile just for their drive thru? Theres a pocket area to the side where you have chain restaurants and shops that are very popular and they just dont have enough parking, it is a nightmare.

I like it here. There is many shops and restaurants to shop at. I love that they have a mochaels. Specially since they are not many out there. It Is conveniently close too. Pretty busy place because there are lots of good shops here. So parking can be a challenge. But I was able to find parking close by where I was headed. Its on Firestone so the traffic moves well which makes it easy to get in and out also. Im usually here to go to Walmart or skechers. They are very big stores with a lot of selection. Like this place.

Lots of distressed and homeless people who are polite but clearly are Impoverished. Not anything special about a all corporate mall .. the habit (hamburger) and Hawaii ono are your best bets for a quick bite and tons of space to sit outside without feeling cramped

I went to cvs for the covid vaccines and flu shots the pharmacy is great. I had an appt I was in and out within 20 mins for my covid vaccine. I also like the fact all my records are on line and paying cash for the flu shot was very reasonable.

TGIF was cool.Nice staff.Clean.This TGIFridays has the brightest lights and most open space I have ever been in a TGIF.A couple years ago another Fridays had juggling bartenders.. I am glad this one had non juggling young ladies that just servered good drinks.I tried endless appetizer..my end was 3 1/2 small servings for $15. Not worth it for me..But double check your check.. I almost missed A charge for video games I did not play which was quickly removed.It was a good place to watch football.

I like all the shops and restaurants at the Azalea. But I hate the way they designed or marked the parking spaces. Some spaces are too big and others are too small. Then you end up finding the smallest cars parking in the large spaces where an SUV should be able to park. Over the weekends its so hard to find any parking. I wish there was more security all over this plaza...they should have made the WSS into a police station as this plaza has seen its large share of crime in the past 2 years...

Its a nice, clean shopping area that is an excellent addition to our community. Im glad theres a Petco and a Sallys Beauty store as well as Ulta and even Gamestop! Its very diverse and super convenient if youre a local. I kinda wish there was a friendly crosswalk for pedestrians because cars dont let you cross and its really annoying when youre carrying a 40lb bag of dog food.

Im starting with the cons always busy after 2pm with alot of traffic. Security is useless. Some of the restaurants have curbside pickup yet people park there like a*h* and Security just stands near the habit or near t-mobile. No real mask enforcement in store either. Parking near restaurants is limited and should have some short term only spots or parking meter type.Pros alot of variety of businesses, social distancing is recommended. The other side with the large department stores has alot of parking.

This plaza is amazing. The best spot I like to go to is this little shop tea/bona/coffee shop located in front if the Wing Stop. Its called Lollicup and its the best beverage shop by far. My family and I enjoy the service and its worth every penny.

It’s a good shopping center with your local retail stores like Walmart, Ross, Michaels, and a food court. It also has other unknown chain stores like Five Below. The shopping center is huge and there is plenty of parking. The only thing I don’t like is the parking spaces near the food court. They feel like compact spaces and all the cars have to park super close. It’s close to public transportation and you can check out their website for upcoming events.

Came here recently to buy some supplies for a event at Michael. I can’t complain much other than I wish they plaza had guards enforcing the parking. Each time I can’t park without some difficulties... there tend to be people parked at the no parking zones or jus toward their emergency lights on and leave their cars blocking the other cars path.... good Christmas spirit. Just needs better management of the traffic zones.

The tree they post around Christmas time are always so pretty and around the sitting area by the food court for those who enjoy pokemon go there is 3 spots to collect items and a gym in the same area. Im not sure exactly why I like this mall so much; I just do. Id rather go here than some of the nicer huge ones Del Amo or Glendale Galleria. Maybe its the long hours, cheap prices and ample parking. Always overcrowded, parking is always an issue.The problem stems from the fact that it is the closest Walmart to residents in South Gate, Cudahy and west Downey, and several other neighboring cities. This causes way too much traffic to buildup. Although there are some good shops and places to eat there, I wouldnt recommend it. I would rather drive farther out than to deal with that hassle.

Went to Wal-Mart. I order my groceries. Pick them up the next day. No contact, all done online. Just have to go there and pick them up. This is one of the few places that stock Morningstar Farms Hot & Spicy breakfast sausages.. Albertsons used to carry them. Unfortunately they dont anymore..

This is a great spot to stop for food fun and fashion. Theres a GameStop - the fun, clothing stores, even for big and tall men - the fashion, there are several places to eat here, TGIF, in n out, the habit, red brick pizza, subway, Chipotle - the food. A gem of South Gate that revitalized an entire little city.Always clean, with many places to eat and shop. There is pride of place here, and many events are often held near the fountain.The busiest day seems to be Sunday, and the In N Out is always busy. There is a thriving Pokemon Go community.People are nice. You will occasionally be asked for bus money, so keep some change in your pocket if youre into helping out some of your fellow Humans... or dont, if youre not into that.If youre going to get scammed, its going to be by the Petco, near the Azalea letters. Thats where they loiter. Avoid it. I dont know why they always target people there.I tend to stay away from the Walmart area in general. The cars get very aggressive, but then again, there are some picnic tables on the other side of the Walmart.Theres a Starbucks across the street, and at the other corner theres a 7-11, so there are a lot of options for a nice day out shopping. Just be smart, just like at any other shopping center.This is a really nice one, and its what South Gate needed. Im glad its here instead of the empty lot it was for the majority of my life.

The basic we need to go shopping and a few restaurants there, but I have witnessed something of the insecurity that exists there. In front of me and my youngest son, a thief stole a bicycle that was tied in a chain and nobody do anything. I did not see any security. My son is afraid to go back.

I had a bad experience with The cleaning crew outside. A lady with a portable trash bin on.wheels kept trying to pick up.trash right on me as I ate my yougurt and almost.tripped me while I was walking,to pick up a.piece of.trash and then I conplaint to my.Mom.about and the lady tried to.argue with me!not pleasant service nor professional. The shopping center is very nice theres a lot of stores there and if you can stop by the coffee shop over there theres a little outside coffee shop stop by there and get coffee bulb has iced coffee hot coffee with whatever you want and its very cheap like $5 or less maybe $6 or less but it is awesome to go there

Really beautiful shopping center with palms, restaurants, a Walmart und many clothing stores. The traffic there is usually packed with scarce parking on weekends, especially holidays. Its very clean und modern. On Christmas, they may put some ice und sleds und they always put up a massive Christmas Tree.

Love it here. Parking is pretty bad on the west side of the shopping center due to in and out and Walmart. Lots of food in the east side, including Subway, Wingstop, ono Hawaiian bbq, chipotle and others.

I have been a resident of Southgate most of my life including my childhood. In those early years this corner was the used car lots spot. It kind of dwelled in the shadows of the famed jingle, LongBeach Freeway Firestone exit Southgate, Pete Ellis Dodge! Today I am much more prouder of Southgates effort to keep our hard working blue collar residents dollar in the neighborhood. To know people from surrounding cities say, hey lets go to Wslmart in Southgate! brings a certain level of pride to me and my city. So despite any type negativity that may arise from this large money generating Azalea Regional Shopping faciity, it is hands down 1000% better than anything before it.

Its cool, the Ulta needs to be a little bit more organized, they always seem to be out of stock of things, makeup testers are messy, the employees seem more concerned with following people around to see if anyone is stealing anything, yet when you need them around to ask about a product they seem to be no where near sight, the security man soo annoying as well...Ulta relax! I like the variety of stores in the area. Like theres places to eat. They have different types of food available. Theres shoe stores and plus size fashion stores. Discount stores like Ross and $5 Below. Michaels craft store. I do wish they had more craft stores in the area. Walmart has some crafts supplies. But they dont have a good selection of fabric like another Walmart has. Not enough large women clothing.

If you go on the weekend, it feels like people are shopping, like the world is going to end in 12 hours. Also I started avoiding all together shopping in South Gate, because of their 10.25% sales tax, are you serious.. I didnt see one thing that South Gate should deserve that kind of Sales Tax. The community should be outraged. The police dept. Looks like a bunch young 21 year olds. If this was San Marino, ok I get it, but 10.25% tax for South Gate, are you kidding me.

This is an similar to an outdoor shopping area with a variety of stores. They have Walmart, Michaels, Ross, Marshals, sketchers, forever 21 and many more restaurants. Everything is good here, it does get crowded at times but I am happy they added this to the city.

I was told this Walmart had a particular camcorder. The electronics Department failed to answer many of my questions. When I was provided information, it was false! In fact, she claimed she couldnt look other stores inventory. She claimed another model camcorder was the same thing. Clearly there was 2 different model numbers.Sony HDRCCX440 clearance price $124 and Sony HDRCCX240 $189.00 She claimed the only difference was the color. False!!! She brushed me off by sending me to Customer Service Dept. False!Customer Service told me she has access to all electronic information. The Lead Dept Manager for electronics was rude, veryunprofessional and gaveincorrect information. I ended up purchasing the camcorder at Pico Rivera store. Blanca assisted me with excellent customer service and I ended up getting it for $70 clearance.I will never shop at the South Gate store again!
