Really fantastic place to stay. Room was beautiful and spacious. Tub was huge! Breakfast was delicious. Would absolutely stay here again. Staff was helpful and prompt. Really excellent all around.

This was our second time staying at Ayres Suites (Yorba Linda) in the last few months. We stayed during Thanksgiving last year as well. Both times we were very impressed regarding all aspects of the hotel stay and experience. We used to stay at the Residents Inn in Yorba Linda so we could cook and be self-sufficient. Unfortunately, that hotel has become really terrible and we vowed never to use it again. There arent any other hotels in the area that offer the ability to cook but we decided our comfort and value for money was more important. I found Ayres Suites online and saw how highly reviewed it was. The staff there are very friendly, professional and accommodating. The rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfortable. The latter can often be hard to find and a good nights sleep is so important. After all, thats what youre spending a lot of money on - a good nights sleep. We didnt have breakfast (only their coffee) so we cant speak to that but the breakfast area does look very organized and super clean.Thank you all - we look forward to our next stay with you soon!

Everything was clean and welcoming. The workout room is small, but has equipment to get it done, as long as there arent more than a couple people in there. The breakfast was great, the only complaint I have was that I couldnt even buy a bottle of water or a snack anywhere. I was hungry and thirsty when I arrived and they have nothing on site. There is a great Mexican restaurant next door, and other fast food close by, but I wish they had some bottled water and snacks on site.

This hotel was the perfect stay after we spent 3 days in Disneyland. After our final day in Disneyland, we drove the 30 minutes to this hotel for a great night sleep before heading home to Utah. It wasnt too far from the park, gave us a jumpstart on our drive home, and was a fraction of the price of the hotel we stayed at in Anaheim. Very clean. Large room. Free breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. In a safe and charming area. Right off the highway.

Nothing but praise for this property. Room was spotless and daily housekeeping meticulous. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Daily breakfast had many options, was delicious and included in the price which made it an amazing bargain for our family of four. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast not served until 6:30! Not even coffee & muffin. I had to leave at 6:00 so stopped elsewhere for breakfast. Im pretty sure the fruit at the buffet was canned fruit cocktail! No room safe which is the 1st, even Best Western & Holiday Inn have them. I could leave my cash at the front desk in my individual safe. Not comfortable with that. We wont be coming back to this hotel..

Pros: Very convenient location, centrally located between local family households and a multitude of eating establishments.Beautiful Yorba Regional Park >5mins. away.Clean well-kept hotel, quiet, well run. Would stay here again.Cons: Requested a late check out but they could not accommodate us, so we paid for one full extra day even though we were out of the hotel by 4:00pm.

We stay in this area 5 to 10 times a year but usually with friends. Circumstances required us to find a hotel and this was the perfect choice. The staff could not have been nicer, the room was outstanding and the hotel itself was 5 star. If circumstances require us again this is the place we will stay!

A very clean environment and very spacious rooms. Nice breakfast and dining area with a bar in the evening. Centrally located for many of the Southern California attractions. Reasonable rates too. I would highly recommend staying at the Ayers Suites in Yorba Linda.

Check in and out was a breeze. The room cleaner was efficient and friendly, the room itself was spacious, clean and quiet and the complimentary breakfast was perfect. I didnt use any of the amenities but my visit was perfect regardless.

We had a good three-night stay at this property. 4 stars because the microwave in our room did not work and mugs/utensils were not available even though they were available at other suite style hotels we stayed at. Water pressure in the shower was amazing, the complimentary breakfast options were very solid, and the location is surrounded by stores such as Costco, target, sprouts, which is incredibly convenient. Free parking is a bonus, and the pool + fitness room were a nice touch. Will stay at more Ayres hotels in the future, but will make sure to bring utensils and mugs.

Our room was very nice, king bed, couch, small table and two chairs, microwave and small refrigerator. The bed was quite comfortable.The room was cleaned each day and new towels provided. The bed was made up, but sheets would have been changed if we let them know we wanted them.Every staff member we interacted with was very pleasant.The breakfast was very good. Each day there were eggs, bacon or sausage, and pancakes or French toast, and hashbrowns, as well as Belgian waffles. There were pastries and different breads as well as cereals and an assortment of yogurts.We will definitely stay there again when visiting family in the area.

The mattress was horrible in room 416. When I complained at checkout, the desk clerk said they were changing out all the mattresses this week. I told her that didnt help me last night. Paying $150 for a lumpy, soft, broken down Ayres Sealy Celestial Sleeper mattress certainly was a bad first impression of Ayres Suites. I doubt that I will stay at an Ayres property again

This was one of the best experiences Ive had at a hotel. Everything was clean, staff was friendly and supportive, the breakfast was delicious, and the decorations for Christmas really made it feel homey. My kids also really enjoyed writing letters to Santa. Super cute hotel- we will be back!

Our room had a king size bed, couch, coffee table, desk, bar, fridge, and microwave. I dont think Ive ever seen a room for this price with all of these luxuries. Everything was really clean when we arrived. The bed was probably the softest bed Ive ever slept on! Service was amazing. Checking in and out was really easy and quick. Breakfast was amazing! I went every morning. Great location, right by the freeway. Highly recommend for everyone. I just wish the parking lot was a little bit bigger.

This hotel is beautiful. Everything about my 2 night stay was amazing. The room itself was super comfy. The shower was better than my shower at home. HUGE bath tub, awesome water pressure and super hot water. I felt like I was at a spa. The bed was super soft, I slept like a baby both nights. My ONLY complaint was about one of the staff members that works there. I dont know if she was a manager or just an employee, but there was an older blonde lady that was INCREDIBLY rude. Not to customers, but to her own staff. One morning when we were eating breakfast, this lady comes storming into the dining area and barks orders at the cook that THERE IS A SPILL OVER HERE. GET A TOWEL - CLEAN IT UP! in a loud booming voice in front of everyone in the dining area. This poor chef (who was the nicest, hardworking, most personable guy) had a line of about 6-7 people waiting to be served their hot breakfast (which was delicious btw), and he had to drop everything to clean up the water spill. No Please, no Thank you, just demands from this rude lady. I was so mad I almost told the lady off right then and there. Such unprofessional and rude behavior. If she is a manager she has NO business in the hospitality space. I will be filing a complaint about her. All other staff was incredibly nice and helpful!

I have stayed at the Ayers properties for many years. This was my first time at the Yorba Linda location. As always my stay was excellent. I was extremely grateful to the front desk staff for their kindness. Noting that my mother was using a cane, they inquired whether the second-floor room was suitable or would we prefer for them to look for a first-floor room. Small things like these make the Ayers a property that stands out from the others. Thanks so much. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Ayres Suites - Yorba Linda is a wonderful place for staying for your vacation! The staff are extremely welcoming and very amicable. I originally planned to stay for five nights but extended it and the front desk were accommodating to my request for an extension with the room I was in.Upon entering the room, it was clean and spacious. There are enough USB ports and outlets to plug in for all your electronic needs. Its a big plus that the bathroom has a large bathtub/shower combination. I think the sink has enough space for any of the necessities for 2-4 people. The bed was comfortable enough for me and my partner. It may be slightly more on the firmer side which may be a slight negative for people who enjoy soft beds. (Youre able to sink into it but not a lot.)Breakfast is served everyday with a selection of hot foods and fruits, cereal, bagels, etc. I like that there is a hot water tap that is accessible throughout the day and can be used to refill a thermos or make some tea.While I did not use the amenities, the pool and fitness area are a great to have option when staying; I definitely did find having on-site guest laundry a plus as well.A downside is probably the parking lot is small so it may get full at times. Fortunately, we were able to find a spot every night.

Our view was distracted by the site of parking lot, trash can and other things. Our room was comfortable. Our iron was full of mildew and mold( never seen that before). It was eventually replaced (it took some time to get a clean iron). We did have two interruption from cleaning staff walking into our room without knocking. We appreciated the early check-in. The breakfast was descent. I was rescued from a water bug almost crawling up my leg in the dining area. Hotel reception was pleasant.

We loved this hotel. We had 5 rooms there while in town for an engagement party in Yorba Linda.We were in the King Studio Suites and the rooms are very large compared to most hotels. The bathtub/shower was definitely one of the best Ive ever seen at a hotel- a wide oval- great for a bath with a good shower head and lighting. The only negative on the bathroom was a somewhat small sink/counter area but I would take the big nice shower tub over that. The lighting in the sink area was also excellent with their Electric Mirror mirror.We also really loved that they had a hot water spigot available all day long at the entrance to their dining area (where the coffee is at breakfast). As a tea-lover, I appreciated being able to stop in there to refill my tea thermos.All the staff was excellent as well. The whole hotel was very clean. We would definitely go back to this hotel and hope to check out other Ayers hotels.

Bed was a little harder for my taste but I know most people prefer harder beds. Front desk people wonderful, friendly, and professional. Housekeepers were also friendly and did a great job in cleaning the room. Swimming pool was refreshing though a bit cold. Hot Tub was nice!

This is a really nice hotel tucked between Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills.Check in was smooth and they asked which floor I preferred. Nice touch. I took the top floor and received a nice view of the Santa Ana River bed area and shopping center.The room was a King suite and was very spacious. The bathroom was clean. Had a nice bar area with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, couch, and coffee table area. The bed was very cozy but like most hotels nowadays I thought the pillows were a bit soft. Hotels really need to put a firmer pillow in the closet for people that want a bit more support. Other than that small issue the room was perfect for my needs.Had the free breakfast one day and found the selection more than other places. Waffle station, chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, potatoes, sausage, cold cereal, juices. The same room they use for breakfast is used for night time bar activities. But the bar is not open on the weekends and I did not have the opportunity to use it.The pool area looked nice. Had fire pits and tables nearby. And the exercise room looks to be well stocked.There are plenty of food options near by. Good chunk are an easy walk to. The Mexican restaurant next door was tasty.I plan on staying at this property again.

The lobby and most areas are always clean,but this time at the second floor near the elevator was old dishes on the accent table and garbage falling out of the garage bin.for 2 days . Service was excellent from the second I walked thru the doors. I got a very reasonable priced room with a beautiful view. The room was clean and everything inside was in perfect working order. The breakfast was very delicious, hot and fresh. Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. If Im ever in town again I plan on staying here. This was an excellent hotel! Room, view, service, and pool were all fantastic. I regretted not staying there longer. It was a little far from Anaheim and hard to find, but they did have a lot of food options around though. The only negative thing I would have to say was the breakfast wasnt the greatest and was about a half hour later than posted. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel has a lovely traditional feel to it. My room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable, but I could hear every movement from outside my door as well as every step from the room above me. There was a dog in a room across the hall and it was barking and scratching in the morning which was not pleasant since I could hear it all.I am a huge fan of complimentary breakfast and thought the one woman who was running the whole thing did an amazing job. But the food left a lot to be desired, nothing was of value, even the orange juice didn’t taste like orange juice, which was disappointing

Overall stay was excellent! We love staying here. The breakfasts are yummy and the beds are the most comfortable we have had on our whole month long road trip! I am traveling with my adult quadriplegic son and the accessible features (like roll-in shower) are perfect for us. The bed is the right height and firm enough that I did not even have to use the Hoyer lift we brought along!

This is our second visit to an Ayres Suites property, first time to the Yorba Linda location. We were first introduced to Ayres properties while visiting the University of Redlands with our granddaughter, and we were pleasantly impressed with the property, the rooms, and their service. Your property in Yorba Linda does not disappoint our expectations. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and the bathroom was very nice. I look forward to taking a shower where the water pressure is coming out good and strong, not just a trickle...even on the third floor. Awesome breakfast, with friendly server. We didnt realize that Ayres Suites had numerous properties available, and are looking forward to our next visit. With all the many properties out there which are looking to get new customers, I will be coming back to this location, or another one, as they have earned my business. So, if youre looking for a new place to call home while on the road, give Ayres Suites a chance to surprise you.

Loved this hotel! This was close to all the places that I needed to go to and be at. Breakfast was pretty good. But would like to suggest to have non-dairy milk options for people like me who is allergic to dairy or lactose intolerant. The King bed room that was given to me was a very nice size suite. I requested a room at the end of the hallway away from noise and Sabrina from the front desk granted my request. Staff was friendly. The room was clean and bed was comfortable to sleep on. The price I paid was reasonably priced considering it was a day after Thanksgiving. It was nice that they did not charge extra fees for parking or resort fees. Probably the only negative thing I will say is that when I called the front desk at an earlier time upon my arrival at the airport that day, I asked if I would be possible to check in earlier than my scheduled time because my flight came in early, the attendant at the front desk (who was NOT Sabrina) was going to charge me an additional $100 if I came in before 3pm. I was a little surprised. Ive stayed at other hotels like Marriot, Hyatt, etc. and if I called to let them know my flight came in earlier, they sometimes let me check-in earlier without charging me a fee. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends and family.

5 stores for being clean and consistent every time I stay. Rooms are big, shower and tubs are large. Lots of seating in the room, large bed. Mini fridge and microwave. Plenty of ports and power outlets. Full breakfast every morning. Self laundry onsite if need be. Allows late check in up till 3am if you let them know. El Torito, Sprouts, Costco, Mc Donalds, Taco Bell all one block away. Right off the freeway. Excellent Customer service.

I am extremely disappointed. I was in the area for the Great Dane Specialty Show. Your hotel was listed in the premium list as a hotel to stay at for the show. I booked my room a month ahead of time and thought I was good to go. When I arrived, however, I found out differently. Apparently, I was supposed to let you know I was travelling with pets ahead of time. At no time during the booking process online did it state that I needed to let you know I had pets. When I arrived I let the front desk staff know that I had pets with me. I was told there were no pet rooms available. I was told there was nothing that could be done to help me. I had driven 5 hours and had my dogs with me and had nowhere to stay. The front desk girl was very snippy and rude. There was no caring or compassion. I was on my own in a city that was unfamiliar to me. Thanks for nothing.

Had a great check in and overall experience. Clean rooms. Very clean fitness center. But breakfast staff was rude. I asked if there was eggs without dairy because I’m lactose intolerant and she was very short and said “that’s all there is”. We got to breakfast about 9:15 because breakfast ended at 10 according to our email, and half of breakfast was put away. By 9:30 everything was packed up. We were there for a wedding and the bride and groom didn’t even get to eat.

Stopped here after Doheny Beach. Stayed here to see a cuzn who lives near by. Parking was perfect and free. Check in lobby was friendly, clean, and fast. Pool and gym were open and on 1st floor. Parking was a problem. Several spots directly in front of the hotel were for rideshare vehicles. No van service. It was New Years Eve and many of us were attending a wedding at the nearby Golf Club. Having the van service would have been nice. There was nothing to drink at the hotel, such as coffee or tea. IT was rainy and cold that day and having something warm to drink would have been nice. The hotel interior design is outdated and makes the hotel appear dreary. No conversation with anyone in the hotel other than check in, she was efficient but not overly friendly. The room was clean and defiantly big enough to be comfortable for two or three. The bed was comfortable. I slept well.

Somehow, our room wasnt replenished on Wednesday. The matter was handled very well by the young man at the front desk that evening. I understand they are likely instructed to give as little as possible. However they act like they are the ones being inconvenienced by the guests for bigger portions.

I cannot offer any words of improvement. I contacted Ayres Suites direct to make my reservation, this was a wise choice. The Ayres Suites Reservation Agent completely helped with my reservation, I was very pleased.The location was excellent for highway access, beautiful lobby, elegant furnishings in the lobby and the room. Spacious room and bath, very comfortable bed and linens, impeccably clean, wonderful staff. I had to leave Monday at 0415hr and the Dining Room was closed, of course. The Desk Clerk bid me good morning and asked did I need anything to checkout. I responded that I would receive my receipt by email. I remarked I would love some apple juice. The desk clerk immediately went to the Dining Room and personally brought me an apple juice.THAT is the Ayres Suites difference, your staff REALLY does care about the customer.Thank you and God Bless,Scott

Straight a dream come true visit for me, before I even checked in making me feel welcome and prepared. An academias dream! Leather bound books, history, and a boat in a glass case! Delicious breakfast and a perfect temperature in hot tub and swimming pool, neither too big or too small. Absolutely Regal. I felt like an academic princess and slept like one too. Lisa and Carleigh were incredibly sweet and personable, good vibes, definitely reasonable priced. Close to everything I wanted to do but the rainy weather and budget and short stay I personally failed as a tourist yet rested like a queen. I definitely will be back and I highly recommend this hotel...Read the book of year 1972 Encyclopedia Brittanica..for me it resolved what seemed like personal interest into proof..that this year, the year I was born made complete sense to me and my interest. The 12 pm check out is also a total blessing..I needed every last minute. Cant wait to visit again longer😁😇P.S Housekeeping department absolutely wonderful tip the maids well, and be environmently conscience. The bathroom was totally royal and plenty of what you need . I was even pleased with the hotel shampoo and conditioner. I also liked the exfoliating face soap.👍

One of the best hotels I have stayed at! Extremely helpful and nice receptionists always ready to help 😊I did like the design, specially lobby and it’s book! I did spend time reading one of the books 📚there. Btw the atmosphere is really nice thanks to a not loud classical music 🎶 as a background. When it started raining 🌧, the fireplace made it really nice 😊 I did miss hair conditioner and a body wash, yet the soap 🧼 they offered was nice, too. Towels and bedsheets are replaced daily, which is really great 👍! We were able to open a window 🪟 a little bit for a fresh air. Breakfast 🥞 was pretty fine, too. Yet I’d make it a bit different, cause we had to eat scrambled eggs 🍳 and fried potatoes 🥔 every morning 🙈 Yet I rate the breakfast 🥞 5/5 cause the coffee ☕️ is fine🙂I definitely recommend this place and will go back there again🌸🌸🌸

Wonderful hotel and courteous hotel staff. Would only recommend that room-cleaning service provide additional toilet paper roll when they provide room cleaning service. Had to go to front desk to obtain additional toilet paper for our bathroom because room service didnt provide an additional roll when they cleaned the room. Its no longer the 2020 Toilet Paper Pandemic! :-)Lastly, their complimentary breakfast was amazing.. best complimentary breakfast Ive had thus far and Ive stayed at a lot of different 4 & 5 star hotels. I will certainly be back and highly recommend Ayres Suites.Oh.. and for AARP card holders, it would be nice if the hotel provided an AARP discount for AARP members - no AARP discount :-(

Your front desk Eleanor was wonderful! We had a problem with a stinky drain Room 114 and she helped us while handling other customers and the constantly ringing telephones and she took care of each equally. It was perfect for our family. There were 16 of us in for a funeral and I also saw a wedding and several hockey players staying with you as well. Eleanor is a treasure and represents your hotel very well. We would definitely stay with you again!!

PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!Do NOT stay here unless you are a middle aged white American. My boyfriend and I were severely discriminated against during this stay because we are young and black. The hotel had a designated smoking area which we thought was accommodating because he is a medical cannabis patient. After using the smoking area several times during our stay, upon checkout we were told that we were being fined because the housekeeper found “clouds of smoke in our room that made her eyes water”. I asked for any proof of this or even a written report of the woman’s injuries and the manager said there was nothing she could do. We can both legally consume cannabis and we did it in the area provided. I explained that this can be proved using camera footage but the manager still insisted there is nothing she can do. This isn’t a “non cannabis hotel”, it’s a no smoking hotel. We are allowed to smell of weed if we consumed it in the smoking area. Definitley will be taking this to court if this situation can’t be resolved.Edit: After reading more reviews, it’s apparent this hotel charges many clients extra charges/fees that they don’t refund. Do not stay here!

That shower was awesome with strong water flow and was spacious! We were able to sleep with the window slightly open (wish the opening was larger than 5 ) to get fresh air and there was no noise disturbance (on pool side).We will definitely come back...On the downside, the decor is a bit conservative for my taste and I would suggest replacing the carpet everywhere (including bedrooms) with some form of wood/stone flooring - even the fake kind! Its easier to clean, more hygienic and more hip/modern. Thank you.

Another great stay. Perfect stay. We are super picky about a hotel being clean. Number one priority. This hotel is spotless. Very well cared for property. The room was super nice and comfortable. I love that the amenities area is not in the entry hallway like most hotels. Coffee maker was clean. Bathroom has a great large tub. Pool was clean, water warm. Lobby area was comfortable and a nice place to hang out and relax. The complimentary breakfast was really nice, especially the make-it-yourself waffles (I love those). The hotel employees were very courteous and friendly. The location is super convenient to lots of restaurant and shopping options. This hotel is located in a nice area of town. Your kitchen staff worked very hard to ensure food did not ran out on Saturday morning, as there were many getting breakfast. There were no loud noises when it was time to sleep, that was great. The manager is a terrible person, charged my friends for smoking in the room even though they didnt, this was obviously because of racially profiling them and taking advantage of the fact that they were younger and didnt have a parent with them (even though they were over 21). Definitely going to have to take this to court. This hotel was very clean and had friendly staff. I was able to check-in early. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The bathtub was huge! I loved it! I always look for a bathtub that I can relax in and this was perfect! The showerhead also had multiple spraying features. I had a headache and the pressure provided pain relief. The free breakfast in the morning was delicious! The lady who was cooking and serving the food was very kind. They served eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes. There were other stations where you could get cereal, make your own waffle, or grab a pastry with your choice of orange juice, coffee, cranberry juice, or apple juice. I would definitely return.

This property is up scale and very new. The hotel has a luxury feel that is very nice. The breakfast is very good and is served on china plates with metal utensils. The room furnishing are very nice and have a quality look. The room is spacious and quiet. The only down note is that the room cooling/heating unit still uses old style controls instead of a wall thermostat, and runs rather noisy.

We prefer to stay at this Ayres every time we revisit our old stomping grounds in the Santa Ana Canyon (Anaheim Hills, Yorba Linda). Its close to friends and family all over OC and Riverside. The staff is always helpful and pleasant, the rooms are always perfect, clean, and well maintained. Its close to countless shops and food establishments. Now that were traveling with our two smaller dogs, its fantastic to have this be a pet-friendly hotel. As such, however, it would be nice if there were some (any?) amenities for dog walking. I had to walk my doggo on the lawn of the restaurant next door. (I DO indeed cleanup after them.)

I booked with an agency, had a little problem trying to extend my stay 1 more day (that’s how good it was I added a day) but nonetheless CARLEIGH was super helpful fixing and being patient with the whole situation. Told me I’d have the correct paperwork when I arrived at the end of the night since I was going out. Before I could leave for the day, she saw me and gave me the correct paperwork fixed. Honestly probably the nicest and most helpful staff member I’ve ever had. That’s the only reason I’m making this review because of her, thank you Carleigh, I definitely will book again based on that week stay. I hope I spelled her name correctly.Overall I loved this place, I don’t write reviews but I had to for this location. Everyone, and I mean everyone on staff was just super nice. This is really one of the nicest places Ive ever stayed. The lobby was friendly and inviting. My room was beatifully decorated, with a couch, glass topped coffee table and nice desk. Pillows were down, and the room had those little extra touches, like extra wide soaker tub, beautifue decor. The breakfast was both efficient and delicious, served hot by friendly staff. The front desk staff answered the phone quickly when I called about a late arrival and our conversation made me feel that they cared. Each staff person I met in person was the same way - from the clerk who walked me back to help me get water from the fitness room dispenser, to the one who made sure I got the voucher for a discount at El Torito. the walls and ceiling were soundproof, and I could go on. I have stayed in many, many places and this was right up at the top of my list. Add to that a reasonalble price and I give it my highest recommendation. The only one suggestion I would make is having bottled water in the rooms, at least for the first night, for those of us that might forget to bring some and arrive late.

Super comfy bed.Ive stayed here many times over 2 years.My recommendation would be to renovate the outside area behind the hotel.Take down the small gazebo & bench and make a nice patio area. Cement base. Outside furniture. Tables. Partial Roof overhang for shade instead of umbrellas because of the wind that sometimes comes along.This is the only thing missing from the Yorba Linda Ayres. Very noisy, difficult to sleep for sensitive person like myself if you get a room facing the freeway (which I imagine will be your only choice when checking in unless there is a way to pre-book a rear-facing room. Breakfast is just OK (it was a lot better when I stayed at the Chino Hills location).More importantly, I just realized that this location charges $100 physically to your credit (instead of reserving the funds as a pending deposit) -- so youll have to remember to check your credit card a few days later to ensure the reverse transaction. I havent seen many other hotels following the same practice (with the exception of some shady car rental agencies in third world countries). Definitely not guest-friendly.

This is the first time we have stayed at an Ayres Suites Hotel... very nice. nice looking building and the elephant statues at the entrance was unusual.. our room was large and very clean.. we had a king studio suite.. The vanity just outside the bathroom had plenty of counter space and the mirror with the built in light was great.. having a couch, table and chair in the room was helpful too..there seemed to be enough outlets for our use, charging laptop, camera batteries and such.. we did taken advantage of the free breakfast... nice.. the room even had a small fridge and microwave. The front desk staff was hit or miss. The night watch staff was extremely friendly, but i felt unwelcome around day shift front desk.Beautiful facility and very clean. The evening snacks and breakfast should be removed completely. Please dont tell me u have a complimentary breakfast when all u serve is jarred hard boiled eggs and do-it-yourself waffles. And I felt embarrassed picking from the snacks served during happy hour. Would be higher class if some cheese fish crackers were added (some sarcasm intended but not much). I loved almost everything about this hotel. Property was clean, lobby was clean bar/lounge area was clean. Breakfast was good and I heard the bar is a good place to chill in the evenings. The staff was really nice and even suggested some of the best sushi, Sai Sushi, that is not to far a drive from the hotel. The room was clean. I really enjoyed how it was decorated. Very big room. More than enough space for two people. Massive 49 LG TV was a nice surprise. The windows even opened a little if you wanted some fresh air.Now to the disappointing part, the mattress and pillows. They were terrible! Those 4 nights we spent were the worst Ive slept in a while. The pillows, not matter how much I fluffed them were just flat.If your not too picky about your mattress and pillows this place is just about perfect.

This was my first stay in your hotel. The staff attitude was great, making it feel like a special stay. Since I spend 80-100 nights a year on the road for business this was a nice touch. The facility was VERY clean, the rooms were spacious, comfortable and a good place to get work done when needed. The personal at the hotel were exceptional! There were two things that brought your score down. 1. The bathroom floors were slippery when wet, getting out of the shower and there wasnt a bathmat. I had to use a towel. 2. The door lock didnt always unlock the door. I made three trips to the front desk on five different occasions. Even their master key didnt work. One time they made me new keys Finally we realized that if the door handle was slightly below level it wouldnt work. By pulling the handle straight it weorked. When i was checking out another guest had the same problem.

Beware of online specials! This hotel was my go-to in the Anaheim area when there on business 3 to 5 times a year. No longer so. As usual, I checked hotel availability for my week-long trip. A discount was advertised for a longer stay on their website. Much better rate, only with reduced room cleaning, called a resident rate. Win-win. I decided to tack on the extra nights as personal days given the savings overall. I booked my flights around the Ayers Yorba Linda stay. After booking my non-refundable flights I tried booking the special rate on the reservation system to no avail. Contacted the hotel directly. The manager informed me that the special was on longer available, despite it still being advertised on their website. So, any way to accommodate me on this now longer stay, stuck with my flights reservations? No, sorry, says the manager, i.e. too bad. I was perplexed. No attempt to do anything to help alleviate a situation caused by their negligence. Mind you, any type of gesture would have been fine...Im easy-going and being in business myself, I know goodwill gestures first-hand. So, as usual, I voted with my feet and went to the more expensive hotel across the highway. Lesson here: do not trust their website- advertised information and do not count on a cooperative manager at this Yorba Linda branch.

I was very impressed with the Ayres Suites hotel. This is clearly a 3 star hotel at a 2 star price. The room was spacious and the furnishings were well maintained. The room had plenty of AC and USB charging plugs with a large digital TV. The lobby was very stately and comfortable for conversation. Terrible front desk customer service. Stated no Kings available when that is what we had reserved. The A/C in the room was mediocre. The breakfast seemed to be decent, but could be compared to gas station plus. The bathroom counter was very small though the tub was a good size. Water pressure definitely left more to be desired. The pool appeared too small. Parking was very poorly lit without enough spaces in front which seem to be most secure but hard to get. After such a debacle, the manager never did contact us. Although they seem to reply to most online reviews, that doesnt seem to improve the lack of training which is clearly needed for anything beyond smooth transactions for the front desk. We have previously enjoyed the Aryes in Ontario, however Im sure we will definitely be reconsidering staying at an Ayres in the future.

I was generally pleased with the comfort of the room. I found that, unlike many first nights in a new room that I slept reasonably well. For my personal preference, I found the chairs and sofa harder than I would prefer, but that is a personal preference and someone else might like the extra support that a hard chair offers. Also, I found that the Wifi would experience dropouts at times. That may be a factor of the distance from the nearest router and not surprising since I never had a full-strength signal. Overall I rate my experience as very good and would consider staying at Ayres Hotel in the future. Keep up the good work.

The lack of a fifth star was due to the quality of the breakfast. Also, the exercise room was closed. We were not made aware of this at the time of the reservation. Had we known we likely would have picked an alternate property.

I have stayed here twice for business over the past year. It has an upscale lobby, spacious rooms, great pool and well maintained landscaping. Parking can be difficult at the front of the hotel if you arrive late. Continental breakfast was above average quality but had an average selection of options. I knocked a star off because I experienced a locked door when I arrived late after midnight and it took some time to get a hold of anyone at the front desk to let me in.

Its a really nice hotel. The staff was very nice and polite. Welcoming you and very happy to see you. The only problem I had with my stay was the power went out right after I arrived and stayed out for several hours. If you left your room, you would have to wait to be escorted back to you room. More of a inconvenience than anything. Thank God it was a hot day and that the window did open a little to let fresh air in.

I had a few issues with my key card having to be reset twice but the staff was quite helpful and made sure it worked the second time around by accompanying me to my door. Unethical hotel. Falsely charging people smoking fee when the room was not smoked in. Noone will help resolve the issue. They claim there was a smell. Thats the proof to charge me an extra $125. Another associate stated a different story. And a third said a different story as well. There are vents in the room that are connected to other rooms, the smell could have came from another room. Finally the manager Lisa, who is unauthorized to refund a charge, told me to contact my bank for further resolving. Your hotel and your staff are the worst I have ever experienced. Motel 6 is more helpful than Ayres Hotel. Stay at your own risk because they are wrongly charging smoking fee to all guests and will not refund. The employee who can smell it should go work for the FBI or TSA.A plus is their toilet paper produces hemorrhoids.

Every one of the staff there was extra nice and very helpful. From getting me set up in my room, helping grab the breakfast and transportation. They would also chat for a bit if you want to bother them with random conversations, awesome. They also were very welcoming of my service dog. Stephanie and Cocoa (my service dog) got along great! Most importantly, the whole place was clean and the ADA rooms were the best Ive ever been. I have never been in a room where the key would automatically open the door and stay open without shutting heavy and fast, and there were two handicap buttons right by the door on the way out at floor level and 5ft high so that all types of disabilities can get out without assistance. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay there again if in the area.

My one complaint is that there is no access to food on the property (other than the complimentary hot breakfast). What a lovely hotel, with friendly and very helpful staff. I had a handicap room, which was very comfortable. From automatic door opener to being able to roll right in to the shower and up to the sink and mirror was a blessing. The maintenance man was extremely helpful since I had difficulty manuvering my scooter and the automatic switch for the door. He came twice to make sure I was using it correctly. As well, I suggested moving the wall hanger, for garment bags, lower for easier use. Otherwise the room was perfect.

This is definitely a 5 star hotel and the room was fantastic HOWEVER...we got in late and needed to sleep in which we were not able to do. At 7:30 AM there was a loud beeping and noise outside our window and I thought a truck that was backing up. It kept happening again and again and we finally looked outside and they were doing construction using heavy machinery. A pillow over the head did not help and it forced us to get up much earlier than planned because the noise did not stop. We give it a 3 star due to the lack of communication that there would be construction starting at 7:30 in the morning.
