Lovely staff and property - will look for this family of hotels when bookingThis was a combination business/family trip for work and to see our child graduate from Cal Poly Pomona. We stayed in a room with a king and pull out couch since our oldest adult child also decided to fly in and stay with us to attend their siblings graduation at the last minute. The front desk staff was quite friendly and amenable to find a room at check-in that worked for our childs last minute arrival. We stayed for three nights. While the pull-out couch bed was a pull-out couch bed and not the most comfortable for our adult child, the king bed was quite comfortable for my husband and myself.While at the motel, we used the pool area every day to visit. The pool was well maintained, and appropriately supplied with pool towels. The table and lounge chair seating was quite comfortable for using the pool and visiting. The area was lit appropriately for the evening hours. During the day, we saw monarch butterflies, birds, and bunnies while we were at the pool. Additionally, although the exercise room was small, the equipment was well maintained and adequate for a short, early morning workout.The continental breakfast provided at the hotel was better than average, and there were a number of drink options available. The hours of breakfast were thoughtful for guests, being an hour later during the weekends, and beginning at 0600 during the work week. The hotel even had snacks for a limited time in the evening during the work week. Again, another thoughtful option for guests.The hotel was conveniently located for access to Cal Poly Pomona, the Ontario airport, grocery stores, golfing (some of us had an early tee-time one morning), and many other activities. Note: even though the back of the hotel faced the golf course and part of the freeway, I could not hear the freeway noise at all. Great soundproofing.Most of all, the hotel was clean and comfortable and well cared-for. Each and every interaction with hotel staff was pleasant and positive. Our family would absolutely stay at this hotel if we were in the area again. There were maintenance workers on site taking care of the property every day, a security guard in the hotel lobby at night, and numerous housekeepers and front desk staff. This facility is well-staffed with friendly personnel, which makes me think the company is good to their workers. I will look for the Ayres family of hotels when staying elsewhere. Very impressed with Ayres Suites Diamond Bar!

I only stayed for one night and it was really comfortable and quiet. My room was very clean. Next time I stay it will be more than one day so I can enjoy all the amenities. Also, I love the fact they have a fan in the bathroom. A lot of other hotels Ive stayed in dont and it feels suffocating.

Okay - so this is the best deal on a hotel I have had in a while. The interior of these rooms is outstanding and nearly new. The two ladies at the front desk were very polite and it sounds like the owner of this hotel owns an even nicer one in town. I have paid $200+ for rooms that were not as nice as this on the inside. The pictures were after we messed the room up by sleeping/using it but you will get the idea of how nice the rooms are...also, dont get confused as it still says Travelodge outside. The hot water was hot but not as hot as it could be and that was the only comment that would not be 5 stars for the room itself. Next, the place could use better lighting at night and it much nicer inside than out.

The front desk staff, Sylvia and Sara, were both very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, smelled nice and had an ample amount of space to both relax and work. The morning buffet was very nice and I especially enjoyed the eggs with spinach...give them a try.

I stayed here more than 3 times. The location is perfect for me. Bathroom is always clean and spacious. The bed is on the soft side, and bedding is extra crisp today. Coffee/fridge bar with A sink is so convinient. Breakfast is lovely for me, with more healthy options now. Price is also reasonable if you sign with the Ayres website or if you are state/fed employee. My kiddo likes the place too. It is not A luxury hotel, interior/deco is old-fashioned but every utility item is modern and easy to use.

A really great hotel with a nice, classic style. You enter from the noisy highway into an oasis with nice music in the lobby. The rooms are very silent with double pane glass. WiFi is fast enough for video calls for remote work and is free. Free breakfast, free parking, good pool and gym, and free social hour daily at 5 with beer, drinks, and snacks. I will definitely consider Ayres again when traveling!

We had a great time in Diamond Bar. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room was so big! It was also very clean. Breakfast was AMAZING! Those potatoes are to die for and were perfectly cooked every morning. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Pros:-Staff were really nice-Nice hotel lobby-Comfortable bed and spacious room-Nice little workout room-Closeby to Target-Free continental breakfast was very niceCons:-Musty/moldy smell in room. Eventually felt sick and had to turn off the A/C.-Shower pressure was very low. Had to use the 3-stream massage setting to get enough water pressure to take a shower.-Hallways smelled bad: musty smell and cigarette smoke at various times.-Tesla chargers in parking lot are broken with exposed metal leads.

Upon arrival, the hotel concierge was very welcoming, warm and professional. Checked me into my room quickly and provided hotel information. She served me a nice glass of wine and gestured me over to were the light snacks were located. The hotel concierge customer service was the best thing about my stay.The professionalism ended there, frankly. The Housekeepers were the loudest and most unprofessional housekeepers I have ever experienced in all of my travels and hotel stays over the years. They opened my hotel room door at 8am and yelled -- housekeeping! -- luckily I had the door lock so they could not enter. Then proceeded to slam the door and each and every door on my floor as they entered and left each room. The housekeepers on the floor above me stomped their feet and banged so my things around the room that my family and I could not go back to sleep --although we needed some additional rest due to all of the vacation activities. I ended up calling the front desk to complain about the noise which continued. Housekeeper was horrible. Will leave Yelp review for this location to call out housekeeper so hotel management can remedy the situation. We usually stay at Ayres in Yorba Linda and tried this location out for the first time. I do appreciate the concierges service and accommodation upon hotel check-in but not sure Ill be back to this location.

I highly recommend Ayres Suites based off my experience at this location! Our room was clean, the shower was nice and hot, the bed was so comfortable we didnt want to get up, and the breakfast was good. The staff was very kind and made our stay easy and stress free. We will definitely stay again!

We found this place after issues with a nearby Days Inn. They had great last minute availability, pretty good pricing, and they even let us check in early. Everything was clean and very pretty, and housekeeping was wonderful with changing out linens when we needed. We stayed for a week and had no issues whatsoever.Sylvia at the front desk was great! She helped us out the first day, and every day we were leaving she greeted us with a smile. She was super personable and remembered our names. She was so so sweet and definitely made it a great experience.Overall, highly highly recommend!!

This hotel was so amazing and even better because of the price. The staff was so friendly when we checked in and they had chocolate chip cookies! We went to the pool which was super warm and had towels for guests. The room was spacious and had the toilet / shower separate from the vanity which was nice for our family. In the morning, it had a great breakfast with eggs, bacon, waffles, juice, pastries, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. Its also right down the street from a target which was great to grab a few essentials.

We stayed here for a total of 5 days this passed week. Overall, our visit was pretty good.Pros to our Stay:Location is nice especially being away from the hustle and bustle of SoCal traffic, with easy access to freeways. Target is down the street as well as a gas station and some food options. Having 2 kids on vacation, this was a plus when we realized we forgot an attachment on our pack and play for our 3 month old to sleep on, we just did an order for drive up at target, no issue.Breakfast was probably the best I’ve had at a hotel to be honest. Eggs, potatoes, bacon,/sausage, pancakes, waffles, toast, muffins, coffee, fruit, hard boiled eggs, coffee, juice, etc.We used the laundry room during our stay which was super convenient ($4 to wash and $4 to dry). Only recommendation would be to put a chair or two in the laundry room so people who don’t want to leave their clothes alone have somewhere to sit.If you have DoorDash, the hotel allows deliveries directly to your room. I Doordashed some lunch as well as some food items, wipes, etc., from Target which was cool. Just make sure to put how to get to your room to help out the dasher. I just instructed them to leave it at the door.For dinner 2 nights we went to BBQ Stop which had amazing food and even better service. Definitely recommend, it’s down the street to the right of the hotel. It’s all you can eat Korean BBQ which is our fave, super kid friendly. They made room for our stroller and entertained our eldest who is friendly and talkative.Cons to our room (Room 226): When you close the door to the room, the latch didn’t catch right away, you had to almost slam the door and then use the lock, we didn’t notice until the evening. So if someone wanted to, they could’ve came into our room while we were at dinner and stole our belongings.When first coming into the room, I noticed some hair on the bed, I was wondering if it was from housekeeping making the bed or just pulling over the previous person’s linens.The shower attachment is nice, however it easily comes off (the pipe part holding the hand sprayer attachment. I had thought we broke it, but it’s literally just like that, I didn’t touch it again after when bathing the kids. I also noticed what looked like either blood and pee on one spot of the bathroom wall near the toilet paper holder which was gross, meaning cleaning isn’t being done very well of bodily fluids are visible.The AC unit in the room despite the directions was a little funky. We have a 3 month old so the room needs to be within a certain temp., even though we followed the directions and set the degrees needed for the room, we got too warm at night, then we had to turn it off and turn it back on and try to fix it again. Once we turned it back on and set it to the exact temp as before, then an hour or two, we were all freezing.

This was a very comfortable hotel conveniently located to the freeway, restaurants, and malls. Dont expect ambiance, but if you want clean, comfortable, and value, this is it.Large, clean rooms with good wi-fi.Excellent breakfast, which included eggs, pancakes, waffles, cereal, fruit, and more. My family of eight stayed here for one night while we were in town for an event. Because of our large family we needed two adjoining rooms (one king suite, one double queen). The hotel was very clean and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The staff was also very friendly. The fact that parking was free was a nice bonus, as well as the complimentary breakfast, which was pretty good. My kids especially enjoyed the fresh Belgium waffles. If we are in the area again I would definitely stay here!

Upon arrival we were greeted promptly and with a smile. The check in progress was quick and easy, which was very much appreciated after our long drive to CA. We were also offered cookies...nice touch!The room was well stocked and organized, and overall clean. The floor between the bed and kitchenette was sticky in several areas getting whatever it was on my shoes. Not a super big inconvenience because it was easy to wipe up, just not what I wanted to deal with or do.The outlet in the bathroom didnt work; this was a big inconvenience but left the hotel room at 5:30 AM Saturday for an event that didnt get me back to the hotel room until 1 AM Sunday morning. Having to try and find an outlet near a mirror to do my hair was impossible and used the reflection from the microwave. Based on the time of day it was discovered the outlet didnt work and the need to hurry to get to my event I didnt have an opportunity to notify anyone. We checked out at 7 AMish Sunday and let the associate who helped us know then.I didnt need to drive my vehicle while in CA and had it parked at the hotel. I had concerns about it sitting outside rather than in a garage for two nights and days but was really satisfied with security patrolling the area.The stay, though brief, was good and we will stay at Aryes Suits again. (Just make sure the bathroom outlet works 😉)

Location is very convenient. Very clean and inviting for most part. My second day of my stay seems like someone spill/crushed doritos in the middle of the hall close to my door and it stayed there for the duration of my stay. Bed could be a little more firm as it was a little sagging. Same for the sofa bed. Was fine in sofa mode though. Website showed a very nice golf course on site but looked to be a work in progress and going through a renovation. Friendly staff. Was very quiet even though it is next to a major highway. Ventilation in elevator is lacking and always very stuffy but is quick so not a long wait. All in all a great stay.

Facility was very clean, a little outdated but satisfactory. They have attempted to renovate some of the floorings. The tub in our room was cracked on the bottom- we were worried about using it during our 8 day stay. Otherwise, no other issues. The staff was very courteous, helpful and professional. Breakfast was great, you do have to show your voucher but that is completely understandable to prevent outsiders. The portions were not limited as others may have complained about. We felt like we had a good meal every morning. Loved the waffles and coffee. The chef and the kitchen helpers were very sweet.Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Easy to get to off the hwy. Very quiet in the room, no road noise at all even though it’s right next to the hwy and a pretty busy road. The heated pool was nice. Overall I enjoyed our stay there. Will stay again in the future.

This place was superb! The only thing I would improve is the breakfast meats on the breakfast buffet. We had bacon one day and link sausage for five days. Switch it up with ham and corned beef hash. Anything five days in a row get boring and blah. And maybe a few more fruit selections. But other than that the rest is 5 stars!! The staff is awesome from front desk to housekeeping to kitchen staff!! All friendly and helpful. The rooms were well appointed and modern. The bathroom was awesome!! We really liked the jets in the tub!! Made our use of bath bombs that much better!! I would definitely recommend and stay here again!!

Beautiful & clean! Our suite has a small jacuzzi tub 😃 which is a nice touch after traveling all day. We checked in after an 11-hr flight from Taiwan. Perfect for our 1-nite stay in Diamond Bar before flying out to St Louis via ONT. Breakfast buffet is included. Happy travels!

I appreciate the hard floors, but we forgot slippers and noticed our socks were absolutely filthy the first night like the floors hadnt been cleaned well, only swept. The rest of the room was free of issues, but we had a hard time getting over the floors being sticky and so dirty.

Staying at the Ayers Hotel you automatically think the stay will be luxurious because that is what they are known for however, I didnt find that to be my experience. The sheets were hard and scratchy, the room was just ok and the breakfast was not anything better than anywhere else. The most disappointing thing regarding the stay was that the carpet in the room was disgusting. There were stains and you could tell it had not been cleaned for quite some time. I would expect from a hotel that is charging $400+ a night that all of these little details are what sets them apart. I could have stayed at the competition across the street for 1/2 the price and just paid the $20 extra for the breakfast. I was not impressed at all with the hotel. I believe right now its holding on by its reputation from the past but right now I would not consider it a great stay by any means.

Definitely recommend this place. Its really clean! Things were pretty quiet during our stay. Doggy bags available which made the stay with our pet very convenient. There were free snacks too.Front desk staff was friendly and FAST.The area seemed fairly decent and safe. There are so many good restaurants nearby too. We went to Ginkgo Katsu which was also excellent.I will stay here again if I am in the area.

The hotel is very clean and close to the freeway. I was pleased that the noise from the freeway was not a problem at all. I gave three stars because I had requested a room on the top floor as well as a late checkout and neither were honored. We also requested to use the shuttle to take us less than two miles to the golf course near by which we were also told was not available. I tried to call the front desk and the phone button to connect to front desk was not working.

My husband and I traveled to LA for our anniversary and werent sure where to stay and were overwhelmed with reviews and what to believe about certain places. This hotel was a great location for us, only half an hour from Disney. The staff was friendly, rooms were nice and clean. We were on the side that faces the highway (and the mountains!) so when we turned everything off to go to bed there was a little bit of noise from the highway, nothing crazy just the light woosh of passing cars, doesnt bother me as I use a sleep app w white noise but if it bothers you just ask to stay on the other side of the building. Did not get to try the breakfast so cannot comment there. Everything was great and would definitely stay again!

If you could start breakfast at 6AM it would be so helpful for all of us that have to pack and get to the conference before 8AM. DO NOT STAY HERE! All I wanted was a nice, relaxing jetted bath. When we checked in, the bathroom had a bit of a strange odor, but it wasnt blatantly strong, We decided that maybe it was a lingering odor from a previous occupant. We were short on time, so we didnt complain. Later, I decided to relax in the tub. As I was soaking, the odor increased and what appeared to be several chunks of vomit floated out of the jets. Disgusting! In all my life, I have NEVER had a more sickening bath! We called the desk, she offered to move us. It was midnight, and we were tired, so we decided to just go to bed and no more baths or showers. We didnt eat breakfast because if the tub is kept like this, what about the food? When we left, we told management. The manager walked down to the room and said she smelled nothing, and we should have switched rooms. They gave us 25% off. That still doesnt change my mind to avoid the Ayres Hotel chain from now on. The manager had very poor customer service skills, but honestly, what could she really offer? I could NEVER be persuaded to go back. Hopefully, I dont get any illness, although Ive been nauseated since I left this morning. 😞Update: I did get sick with the worst diarrhea Ive ever had in my life. I was fine until I stayed here. 😞

3rd time staying here and it’s great service and experience every time. The room this time was single king room with a sofa living area. Great size room on the second floor. If I had a complaint, It was right next to the elevator and you can hear the hum of the elevators when in use. I’m not complaining, great stay as always and the front desk supervisor who checked me in was very helpful.

Was nice and big bit the remote was broken when we got there so I was a little afraid of getting charged for it. The toilet paper holder was broken, the bathtub was dirty it had black stains on it, the bathroom didnt look like it had been moped after the last guests, I wanted to go for a warm swim with my 3 year old but we couldnt because it had worms in it and I didnt want my little girl or me to step on them because that is gross. The free breakfast they have was decent the pancakes and potatoes was my favorite they were actually good expect for the coffee, that has to be by far the worst coffee I have ever had..they really need to get a different coffee brand for the rooms and breakfast bar, fix little broken things in the room and clean they pool more often to make it great again.

The entire staff during our stay was incredible. They made it feel like a home away from home. We also utilized the available drinks for purchase every day which made us not need to make unnecessary runs to a grocery store, and the price point was extremely reasonable making it an easy choice. The morning and evening staff even got our typical order down during the short stay. It makes me wish this was a destination that we frequented more often, purely so we could stay here more but we will absolutely be staying here whenever we are in the area. Omg! I stepped outside of my comfort zone (im normally a Hilton girl). This place had rooms available and the price was right. I looked at the reviews and was like ok well give it a try. Well let me tell you it was beyond my expectations. Staff was very friendly when we checked in, room is very nice and was clean. The one thing I didnt like (but doesnt change my ratings) the shower pressure was really low, but the shower itself was really nice. I requested a disability room with 2 beds. Before we even got there they called us to tell us they didnt have a double disability room but they had a king with a sofa sleeper. The fact that they reached out before we got there was amazing, so that when we got there it was no surprises. They have complimentary breakfast which was extremely good. There was a lady in there making hot and fresh eggs, bacon, pancakes and fried potatoes. She was extremely nice and kept everything stocked for her to have been alone. The oatmeal was a vat of oats sunk to the bottom of a whole lot of murky water. Im sure it would have tasted fine, but again, it was just unappetizing to try. The lineup of breads and cereal, I dont know, it just didnt match the quality everywhere else in the hotel. I do travel a lot. Im a simple person, and I dont require much, but I walked out of the breakfast area with one hard-boiled egg and a bowl of cut up, mixed fruit that I didnt want and ended up not eating. We have stayed at this hotel many times. Generally it is clean and quiet and comfortable. Sadly, this last time we were in a room which had a very offensive smell. It smelled as if someone had been smoking in there, even though this is a non-smoking hotel. We were in this room for nights and the smell never dissipated at all. Also, there were a number of places in the bathroom where mold was showing in the grout next to the tiles. This room was not at all up to the standards we had experienced in the past.

I have never had a better stay for this length of time. I needed to be there 10 days which made me a bit anxious but every day they got it right. Clean room. Very spacious. Everything worked as it was suppose to. Trash always handled. Exercise room with cold water cooler. Ice machineon each floor. Pool thats actually heated. Not super warm but still nice. It is clear that the staff here take pride in there jobs because everything was always clean and put away. Breakfast was always plentiful. Please do more to accommodate senior citizens by instructing the reservations clerks to determine if the senior citizen needs a room closer to the log-in desk or elevator. It was our first time with Ayres; happy with the choice. Very clean with good service. We were in California at the end of July with hot weather in 90F range, the AC was working well with no issue. The hotel is near Target, and several restaurants nearby (need to drive) and highway to get around town.Improvements,a. Need 2nd chair in the room. It is inconvenient to sit on bed for a cup of tea while family member is working/using the only chair.b. Alternate breakfast choice, it is very much the same during our stay.c. Theyre doing some remodeling, which is great because this is a lovely hotel and with a bit of an upgrade will be even better. We stayed in an ADA room and it had great features, but it has not yet been remodeled and the carpet was... Gross. The amenities include a shower with a bench, grab bars in the potty, wider doorways, lower switches, and it had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Breakfast was also included in our stay. I wish theyd had gloves at the buffet line, or staff to serve guests the choices. Its been awhile since I touched the spoon that who knows how many other people have touched that morning. The good: Good location for where we needed to be. Front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly. Housekeeping staff were super friendly and attentive. The not so good: Lighting in the bathroom was too dark. Recommend putting in brighter lights to avoid accidental falls. Serious safety issue in F&B when asked for my room number AND last name. This should be against hotel policy as most chains updated policies back in 2016. Please update your policy or train your F&B staff if your policy has already been updated to the proper standards. While there is a no smoking policy there were clearly guests on the second floor smoking marijuana which made the entire floor stink and had my children been with me I would have changed hotels. My sister and I were there to attend our brothers funeral and I did not have the capacity to deal with changing hotel rooms. There was no ironing board in our room but was resolved quickly when I called the Front Desk. The pipes squeal so when people around us were getting up at 5am, we were awoken to the high pitch sounds.

We would stay here again. We were trying to get away from the big name hotels and support a family-owned business. We did enjoy our stay. The room was quiet and spacious and the bed was not bad. The room was very clean and comfortable. I guess the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is for an awkward moment at breakfast. We thought it was a buffet breakfast so my husband who is an avid runner, came back from his run and had breakfast. He asked for more eggs and was told it was only 1 plate per person, the lady then proceeded to give him more eggs but in a hesitant way. The next morning another family asked for a second helping of food and was told the same by another employee with the same hesitant attitude. There should be a sign displayed that says only 1 plate per person, or there should be an option to pay for breakfast for those who want another plate. For such a nicely decorated hotel, it was just very awkward to have that experience. With that being said, everything else was good. We will look to stay here or other Ayers hotels again. Thank you

The service culture within this hotel is fantastic. I had an issue with my room upon check in and we all know things do happen from time to time. What sets this hotel apart from the others in the market is how they recovered from the issue. Each team member showed a “genuine” concern about my issue. It was communicated to leadership and “leadership” responded and they did so personally. The issue was resolved in a timely manner and done so professionally. They owned the error and made it right for me as the customer. Bravo to this team and their leadership as they are truly mastering the art of hospitality. Gym was small and while you could work out here if you had no other option it is extremely small and limited. Dumbells go up to 50 lbs, one bench, and some cardio stuff. I had called over 10 other hotels looking for a room and everywhere was sold out. When I called Ayres Diamond Bar, Emily picked up the phone and assisted me with booking their very last room. The hotel was excellent, it was about an hour away from my actual destination I needed to be at. And an hour away from Los Angeles which put me right in the middle of what I needed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was a delight as well as the pillows, it took mere minutes to fall asleep both nights I stayed. My room key didnt work my last night I was there, the overnight associate said sometimes that happens when the room key is near your phone, which it was so he activated a new key for me. The rooms are very very clean, still doing house keeping in the times. They are much nicer rooms in comparison to other places. The front desk is very helpful. The property was clean and things worked pretty well, but....The issue was the breakfast area. There was no encouragement (signage) to induce people to sterilize their hands before serving themselves with food. In fact, only after 10 consecutive days of being there, I noticed that there was a dispenser with hand sanitizer in the premises. In spite of my carefulness, I contracted Covid-19 while in the hotel. This was verified in the very last day. Hand sanitizing should have been suggested and enforced before anyone would serve themselves from the buffet breakfast. Apart from this experience, I find no fault with the hotel. The hotel is right beside a busy freeway, but the noise levels were acceptable, it was clean and the breakfast was acceptable. I cannot find fault with it. Subsequently to posting this review, the manager of the hotel contacted me informing me that changes would be coming in the near future to address this situation. I wish there was another method to improve things without having to resort to posting a not so positive review.

Where do I even start at this location? I booked a block booking for my wedding and the day of the wedding. Everything was a mess. My guest returned to a flooded room and one of the hotel reps sent my guest into a different room that was registered under a different guest without our knowledge. When we contacted the front desk they said that both of the guests will be charged for both rooms. The supervisor working at that time handled the situation poorly, ruining our wedding day. The only reason they got one star is that the manager was able to take care of and accommodate their pricing for the mess that it created. My only concern with the hotel at this point is safety. Why would you send one of our guests to our other guest room without checking in with the owner of the room at that moment and putting their security at risk?

The potatoes were small size and so it may caused them to be dryer. Maybe hash-brown would do better because they can toast evenly. I may have not noticed statement of $100.00 deposit that will be returned to my account in 5 days later. Please assure that online reservations are aware of it. Even though there was some construction going on in 2nd floor and elevator, the hotel was still kept very clean and free from hazards. The only downside was the fact that I was in room 219 and there is a big bright light right outside the window that made it very hard to sleep. We are at the start of a few nights at this hotel and the initial impressions are good. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, including two full length mirrors, which is important for those more attractive than me. Breakfast seems good, although the weekday cutoff at 9am appears rigidly enforced, suggesting the hotel is geared towards business rather than vacation. We have yet to explore the pool, but are assured it is heated. There is a guest laundry but one washer and one dryer must surely lead to problems from time to time at what is a reasonably large hotel. Shout out to Sylvie for always extending the best service! she helped give us a bit of a late check out but we ended up extending our stay a few days more. She was great with giving us the long stay package to add on to our current reservation. Some feedback would be to change the lighting inside the room to a bit more cooler than warmer, check some of the appliances like the coffee maker and the iron (both were broken) and extend social hour. The gym itself was missing a good chunk of weights as well as the bench was broken. Lastly, breakfast was great but needs some variety. Switch the pancakes to waffles every other day and possible some vegan stuff. Other than that, the Ayres hotel will always be my go to spot for my home away from home.

Only a 1 night stay this time. I honestly never hesitate to book with Ayres if within the proximity of my destination because of the price point and level of service I have received thus far. But most importantly the accommodations are clean. However, on this visit as soon as I walked off the elevator the hallway smelled musty and so did our room. Also the bathtub floor was dirty. Not very comfortable to shower knowing the tub is not being scrubbed after every guest. Thats why not 5 out of 4 otherwise would give you 5 stars. I had a great experience. I was traveling from out of town to visit family in my hometown. I had my two 8 month old twins with me. The service department set up 2 play pins in my room before I got there and had my room ready to go. It had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. I decided to use Ayres DB as the hotel for our out-of-town guests due to its location at both our wedding ceremony and our wedding reception. The only thing that I personally had difficulties with was phoning the front desk within the hotel. What I liked the most was how clean the room was, the bed and restroom.There was no hair dryer in the room and the front desk took care of it really quick and provided one. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel.

Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The daily reception is a nice place to gather. The overall feel to the hotel seems somewhat outdated but clean. The air-conditioning in my room did not work very well which left my room hot during a heatwave. I would not recommend staying here based on the price. I was expecting more for the price charged.

I had a great experience in this hotel starting with the staff in the front desk. They are always very welcoming and very helpful on anything that I have questions about. The shuttle service is very convenient and they are always ready to go. The mattress in my bed is so comfortable and I always have a good nights rest. The breakfast is very good, I enjoy it alot.

Our stay at the Ayres Suites Diamond Bar was the best of the other hotels in that area. The personnel were all very welcoming from the front desk to housekeeping. Complimentary breakfast buffet was very good with choices of eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, fresh cut fruit medley and cereals along with two juices and hot coffee. The breakfast attendants made sure everything was refilled and the tables were clean and ready for new arrivals. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. We totally enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again when we are in town to visit our daughter.

Staff was very nice. Queen beds were the right size as stated. However, upstairs was noisy. Found a big hair ball in bathtub when kids tried to fill up the bathtub for a bath. Found hair on towels. Found ants around the air conditioner area. Found ants around the swimming pool and dog feces. Carpet needs to be washed. Breakfast was the same everyday. Very nice staff members overall, except for one.

We had a very nice stay and the location was perfect for our college visits. Also, the discount since we were here for college was an unexpected surprise. Thank you! Our room was well kept and our request to be away from the freeway side was accommodated easily. The hot breakfast was a nice convenience for our busy schedule and your coffee was very good (coming from Seattle it is a bonus)! The front desk was courteous with any questions we had about the area. Overall, an excellent experience for us and if our daughter should choose to attend college here, we will definitely be back!

The staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms and hot tub are really nice. My only feedback was that the pool had lots of leaves in it, and the breakfast could use some better coffee, a faster toaster or microwave, and maybe an omelet bar (that would be great). I love staying here though--its close to my daughters and I always find it clean and relaxing. Thanks.

We had a very enjoyable time. The rooms were exceptionally nice and well maintained. The meeting room was more than adequate for our needs. The pool area was very well kept. Overall, the service was exceptional. We dealt primarily with Brenda. She not only made us feel welcome but was attentive to all our needs.We had multiple rooms that were paid for with one card. My only suggestion for improvement would be to not have to renter all pertinate information individually for each room (thus taking much more time) but rather to be able to glen that info once and apply it to a block of rooms.

The staff were friendly,breakfast was nice and the rooms were spacious. It would have been nice to have a complimentary bottle of water in the room rather than charging $4.00 for it. The fitness center is REALLY small. I opted to go for a run outside. There is plenty of well lit sidewalk area and you can get in an easy two miles by going to Target and back couple of times.

I had a wonderful stay and also loved the breakfast. It was a huge improvement to the Holiday Inn type of breakfasts!! The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly every day that I was there. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, I felt like I was on cloud 9; slept like a baby.

I got bit by something both nights there on my arms. Legs, and under my chin! Also my pillows has to be changes when I 1st arrived, because one of them had a hair on it. Not the cleanest cleanest experience. It had a strong smell, I had to open the windows to air it out, only to fear birds may fly into the high level because they had no screens on the windows. Smh..
