I found Aymerick while looking around all of CA for the right person to help me furnish my home the way I want it done. On visiting his warehouse and discussing the contents I was deeply impressed with his knowledge of designers and skill with wood finishing and period accurate restoration. Ive since returned to buy several pieces and I love them all.Aymericks focus on quality shows not only in his choice of items, but in his fabric selection. More than that, he is a great guy who truly loves the MCM ethos of shape, material, and style. He is not just reselling furniture, each piece he has given special attention to and made it more than it was when it came into his shop. If you are interested in MCM, then I highly recommend you visit his warehouse and soak it in.

My experience with Aymerick was exceptionally positive. I was looking for a showpiece credenza and found something beautiful on his website. I was nervous about ordering something expensive sight-unseen, but Aymerick was extremely responsive and helpful, answering my questions rapidly and confidently and providing photos to back them up. Delivery (over 1000 miles away) was quick, seamless, and professional. When a minor issue arose after transport (not the fault of the shop), Aymerick responded quickly again and it was fully resolved. I would buy from Aymerick again in a minute, and highly and unreservedly recommend him.

IMHO Aymerick Modern has the most beautiful mid-century pieces that are impeccably refinished...! For a small business, he has a surprisingly large selection of curated pieces from Europe that are really well-priced with reasonable/inexpensive delivery costs. Such great value for amazing quality. As a designer, I have had the good fortune to visit many vintage and mid century dealers. Aymerick Modern has such depth of products, personally restored on the premises, that there is no reason to search further than this shop. Be prepared to be amazed.

In January 2024, I purchased a vintage Danish desk from Aymerick Modern. I had looked at similar desks (there were about 5 in the world for sale) and Aymerick Moderns price was good (lower than two of them) but the rehab work was way better than the others. When I was ready to purchase, but before I bought it, I spoke directly with Aymerick, who not only was quick to respond, he was really friendly and helpful. He is super knowledgeable and offered to answer any questions I had . He also told me the story of the desk and the work he did on it to rehab it. He was really easy to work with and offered options for delivery vs pick up, as I live not too far away. I opted to have the delivery, and the guys who brought it were great and very careful. When the delivery guys unwrapped it, they all said wow! to the desk because its that gorgeous! The desk is absolutely stunning and looks just like the photos! My overall experience was great! Highly recommend this place if youre looking for top-notch antique / vintage furniture!

I stumbled across Aymerick during an open house of several vintage furniture vendors. When I went into his place, I was amazed at the assortment on display. He has a great ability to restore pieces to their original beauty and you can tell he respects the MCM period.I wasnt really looking to purchase anything, and had recently established a home based business, when I came across this Svend Madsen desk that was in the middle of the restoration process. It was the right size and the architectural design spoke to me, so had no choice but to purchase it.As it was not finished, I had to wait a couple weeks for Aymerick to complete the restoration, but was more than satisfied with the end result.If your looking for well restored, MCM furniture, make sure you check out Aymerick Modern. I had decided to refurnish my home in Mid Century furniture about a year ago and just recently completed this labor of love. Upon making this decision I was fortune enough to find Aymerick and his company, Aymerick Modern on Instagram. To take that a step further, I was lucky enough that out of all of the places on the globe his warehouse was about 5 minutes from me.Over the last year I spent building a relationship with Aymerick based on a mutual love for beautiful furniture that is art, a respect for each other based in fairness and trust, and a true friendship that made this process so much more than a buying experience, but a project of heart and true care on his behalf.Aymerick sells a quality product based in supreme condition, excellent customer service, and backed by true character and a man of his word. Amazing selection of high end mid century furniture! I’ve bought from multiple dealers in Southern California and none compare to Aymerick in selection, quality or condition. You can tell he hand selects every piece as if it were for his own home. Not to mention his restoration work is impeccable. Upholstery is top notch. Im lucky that Aymerick is located close to me geographically but I have done my research...imo he has the best combination of quality, price and selection of any mid century modern furniture store in the country. He is also an expert in his field. As an example I showed him a couple of pics of pieces that I was interested in and he knew the designer, manufacturer and the approx date of mfg. We just moved into an early 70s home in Carlsbad, with crazy high vaulted ceilings, and wanted to upgrade our furniture hodgepodge to accentuate a mid-century vibe. We needed a set of six chairs to match our Danish modern teak dining table, and as soon as we responded to one of Aymericks postings, he texted us several photos to choose from. Aymerick Modern is full of stunning, amazingly well-curated Danish/ mid-century modern pieces that you’d build a room around and cherish for years to come. The prices are also quite reasonable. We bought a one-of-a-kind Clausen & Søn rosewood credenza and a set of teak nesting tables with drumstick legs by Møbel Intarsia. You can immediately tell that Aymerick is very passionate, and puts his soul and energy to each piece he finds. He also readily shares his knowledge, and have given me detailed information on how to restore the Moller chairs I found somewhere else. When he delivered the furniture, they were beautifully refinished! We will definitely be back!

In my search for dining room furniture that was both functional and beautiful, I got what I was looking for at Aymericks showroom. I found a Henning Kjaernulf rosewood table with an exquisite grain pattern in the perfect size and shape. Aymerick was knowledgeable and accommodating as we searched his large showroom collection for some dining chairs. We found four Niel Otto chairs in the back that needed to be restored. With Aymericks knowledge of mid century modern furniture, attention to detail and his passion, the chairs were restored to perfection! First and foremost Ameryick is a stand up guy, integrity and honesty makes him a delight to do business with. I came upon one of his pieces on Craigs list, a beautiful walnut dresser. When he said he re did it. Imagined a touch up here and there. It was in impeccable shape. I finally was able to visit his showroom, which is a MCM lovers dream come true. We then purchase a Swedish teak console that we use for our television.Just when I though we were done we took another trip to the warehouse where we fell in love with the MOST AWESOME MCM coffee table which we did not need, but had to have. The prices in comparison to other MCM shops and Craigs list are amazingly reasonable considering the amount of workmanship that goes into each piece. Each individual piece is lovingly cared for and looks new!OK, just when I though we didnt need anything else we saw on his site four purple Eames/Modernica dining room chairs, and yes, you guessed it we scooped them up. But wait for it, on the way out the door I set my eyes on an amazing pair of night stands which we also purchased.There is absolutely no comparison to the pieces you will find elsewhere, and Ameryicks pieces. He puts his heart and soul into each and every piece. I am so happy I discovered him, an look forward to continuing to purchase more items for a home I am just furnishing.
