First written review I have ever done and unfortunately a negative one. Frustrated with the lack of professionalism and hope this will prompt them to do better for future clients. I called and asked if they were taking new patients and proceeded to set an appointment for an exam in preparation for cleaning and needed work. Answered their questions and provided the requested insurance info. The appointment was set for 3 weeks in the future which I was slightly surprised for a new patient (wife says its normal). They called me last Friday to make sure I was coming for the Wed. appt. and I confirmed all good! Now the disappointment, they call me today Tues. the day before my appoint which I have scheduled to the exclusion of other events, and tell me that my insurance is not PPO so they cant use it. What? I gave you the info 3 weeks ago and everything was fine! “Well we don’t take HMO, but you can pay cash price”. Like I said unprofessional and and now start looking for other options. Not the kind of service I’m looking for.😖

Every dentist since I was a child had been very traumatizing to me. The dental work performed over the years had been done very poorly which left me in more pain and a smile that I had been very insecure about growing up. I have avoided dentists for many years due to the fear of having my teeth damaged even further. The topic of dentistry had popped up in my office one day, and one of my employees was talking about how happy she was with getting a composite veneer on one of her front teeth. She referred me over to Dr. Fischer and I could not be more grateful she did. Everyone at Avenue of Smiles is very friendly and they provide such a calming environment for anxious patients like myself. The facility is very clean and welcoming. I was very surprised when I went in for my consultation to see the state of the art equipment and procedures they were doing. Dr Fischer was very honest with the necessary work I needed to get done and also address the cosmetic desires I had for my front 2 teeth. I have never came across any dentist with more of a gentle hand than Dr Fischer! I felt no pain even when he was injecting the numbing shots and gave me a little extra since he sensed how tense and anxious I was. He explained in detail on what tooth he was working on and what sound or pressure level I would feel/hear. Though the sound of any drilling tools get me stressed to a point of uncontrollable shaking, Dr Fischer with his expertise and gentle hand helped combat and alleviated those stressful feelings. After the work was completed I was very nervous for the temporary crowns as these were the 2 front teeth! I have had temporary teeth before that looked like plastic lego pieces, so in a sense i went in mentally with that expectation. But i was yet wrong again! The temporary looked really great and matched the color of my teeth. They even held the 2 weeks i had to wait for the permanent crowns. I was so excited but also nervous for the permanent teeth as I wanted to make sure they blended with my natural teeth and not look like most of the influencers veneers. When Dr. Fischer put them in for sizing and gave me the mirror to look I could not contain my emotions. Not only did they look natural and match but they were slightly elongated like he had planned them to be and they were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! It takes a lot to make me cry but when he was done and I saw my smile I could not contain the tears(happy ones of course)! I never thought in a million years I would have a smile that I would be confident about, that look so natural and feel like real teeth! I am incredibly grateful for Dr Fischer and his team and would recommend anyone who wants a trustworthy, expert, affordable dentist. I am so happy I decided to take the leap of faith and put my trust and faith in Avenue of Smiles! You are all so talented in your craft and now because of Dr. Fischer and his team I have the smile I have always dreamed about. Thank you Team Avenue!!!

I have done Xray and cleaning several times here in 2022, 2023, but after my last Visit I am done with this Clinic as after doing the cleaning Dec 23, they asked me to pay for prevention cleaning which is always 100% covered by insurance, but they told only 2 cleaning is covered and this is 3rd one so insurance is not going to pay, its news for me and I could have waited few days to schedule in Jan 24 so I can skip paying for cleaning also they should have let me know before the appointment or cleaning, no one told me.After some discussion they eventually waived off but it was unpleasant experience.Also I never enjoyed cleaning here, always a painful experience.

I cant say enough positive things about Dr. Fisher and his staff. They are professional, yet personable and really care about my dental health. Dr Fisher is very gentle and patient. He always makes sure that Im not in pain during procedures and answers all my questions. Previously, I have been terrified of going to the Dentist but due to Dr. Fisher I no longer have anxiety of dental work. Dr. Fisher is truly the BEST dentist!!!! Also, Natalia the dental hygienist is exceptional. She is very thorough and explains everything in great detail. I would definitely recommend Dr. Fisher and his staff to everyone.

I have been going to Avenue of Smiles for quite awhile. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped in choosing a dental plan that saved me money over the other plan I had.The Dentist is very knowledgeable and explains things to you in laymens terms.Their waiting area is full of awards and they deserve them.I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy dentist.

Dr. Fisher is an amazing dentist - honest, knowledgeable and an overall true professional. My family and I have been going to Avenue of Smiles for years and its always a pleasurable experience from the moment you walk into the office. The staff is very friendly and it truly feels like a family atmosphere. I never feel like I am in a rush and Dr. Fisher and his hygienist always take great care of me. I just got the best time visiting dental office! Dr. Fisher and Nancy was treating me like a princess 👸 The whole process was absolutely painless, comfortable and doctors kept me updated about everything theyve planned to do next and how it would feel.Im so glad I found this dental clinic! Of course, I hope that I would not have to visit the dentist again, but if Ill have to - Id be glad to work with Dr. Yan Fisher again!

Dr. Yan Fisher is a great dentist and he has very professional staff. It started with Dr. Fisher replacing my amalgam crowns with the white ones. The rest is history... I come to Avenue of Smiles every 6 months for my check ups and dental hygiene for years. My experience in this office has always been great. Avenue of Smiles provides great dental services. Their staff is always friendly and caring, and they go out of their way to make patients feel comfortable. The facility is always clean and comfortable, and they always have the latest technology. Ive been looking around for a dentist that has evening or Saturday hours, whom I liked, and which didnt feel like an assembly line. Found it! This is a very nice office with great staff. Eva was extremely helpful and knew her way around my dental plan better than I did. Nina gave me the best cleaning that Ive had in years. Dr. Fisher came across as knowledgeable, forthright, and didnt try to sell me on any unnecessary services. I felt like I received excellent dental care. As a result, Ill be going back. Highly recommend this one!.

Right when I walked in the staff knew who I was. They are very friendly and always very helpful. My teeth cleaning went smoothly with an incredible hygienist. The icing on the cake was how incredibly good my Doctor (Dr Fisher) was.He explained everything perfectly and the front desk had all the financials ready and gave me several options. I had an extraction. I didnt feel an ounce of discomfort and he was done super quick. I recommend Avenue of Smiles to anyone looking for an incredibly great dental office. Thank You.

If youre looking for a different experience with professional personal staff and dentists, i think you should give them a shout. Nina is my hygienist. I cant speak enough of how my visits with her are by far knowledgeable in my teeth cleaning and prevention. She takes the xtra steps to make your experience better than the last. When you make your appointment, She is worth the wait. 5 stars.

I am an Endodontist myself and only trust Dr Fisher with my own teeth. He is an excellent dentist with superb bed side manners, outstanding quality and attention to detail. I havent been to the dentist in 8 years. I went into Ave of Smiles and was blown away by the professionals who work there. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, gentle & knowledgeable. I saw Dr. Bui as well and he was amazing, gentle & great communication skills. I was in some significant pain after my procedure... he reached out to me on his day off to make sure I was okay. Highly recommend Avenue of Smiles.

I go to Dr Fishers office regularly. Beautiful, very modern and clean office in Simi Valley, professional and friendly staff, and great doctor himself. Its not easy and is very important to find a good dentist in LA, and he is great. So many procedures over the years and never any pain, thats pretty awesome. He changed my perception of going to a dentist, I always feel at ease and relaxed going for my visits, whether just cleaning or more serious procedures, like fillings and crown. Last time I was there, I didnt feel how he numbed me down, the shot was so painless! So I highly recommend his services, give him a visit!

His review, his experience:Having a long history of no dental care, I was amazed how easy this office made my experience.Unfortunately a partial denture was required as well as deep cleaning and extractions, but they handled it perfectly and I felt only minor discomfort. They have helped me with follow up adjustment appointments and I will not hesitate to keep my teeth cared for regularly in the future.I highly recommend this practice for your dental needs and even got my hyper sensitive to dental pain wife to go for a check up and she felt the same exact way.Very caring staff, timely, and well handled!Thank you again.

My son had to switch from his pediatric dentist as he is an adult now. So he googled and found one next door. He was so happy that I also made an appointment. Ive been to many dentists over the years but was never happy or content. Either they run the dental office like an industry, where the focus was more on quantity and NOT quality; I think some have a stipulated time for each patient so you feel the rush in their work. some complain or are greedy. I always take second opinions for major work. Believe me, with this office I am so happy after X-ray & cleaning. The staff treats you well as you step into the office, the hygienist and assistants had no doubts in their job and were excellent. They definitely take personal care to each one of their clients. I would definitely recommend to my family & friends. Keep up the good work!

They just recently moved to a new space and it is so amazing and state of the art! I have always enjoyed my experiences with all of the staff, everyone is super friendly and professional. My cleanings and exams are always thorough and easy to get through, which says a lot seeing I am high anxiety at the dentist.

Simply wonderful! I’ve had cleanings before, but this one topped them all. Very professional and attentive, and very thorough. The front office staff was impeccable and supper nice. I was in the dental chair in no time. I had no discomfort of any kind. The hygienist delicately handled the area of my mouth that normally feels sensitive. Other places rush you to get to the next patient…at Avenue of Smiles I felt the opposite. They really cared. The doctor took his time to identify potential trouble spots to observe. I was not pushed to buy goods and services like at other offices. I was looking for an honest, properly trained and qualified dental office. I found it at Avenue of Smiles.

I’ve only been coming to this dentist for a few months and everyone is so nice. My dentist Dr. Fisher is awesome. On my first time here he extracted a decaying wisdom tooth in under 10sec after the anesthetics kicked in and didn’t feel any pain after. I recently had a temporary bridge put in and he also had to extract 2 other teeth and again...no pain. I highly recommend this dentistry.

Dr. Yan Fisher is the most professional, thorough dentist I have experienced in my lifetime. Beginning in early 2013, I had an extensive amount of dental work done, which was just completed a couple months ago. The functionality of all my teeth are 100%, and the cosmetics of my smile are quite beautiful, and very natural looking. Each week I get at least one new compliment on my smile. Which is not only a great boost to my confidence, but also to my profession, and overall healthfulness. I couldnt say more about all the staff at Avenue of Smiles. Dr. Fisher is AMAZING. Another satisfied patient here.I hadnt been to a dentist in something like ten years, and was very nervous. I had no choice but to go because Id cracked a tooth over the weekend. But the kind folks at Avenue of Smiles put me at ease right away. From the clean, friendly, and extremely high-tech looking office to the pleasant receptionist to Nina, hygienist extraordinaire, I was impressed and calmed.Dr. Fisher never once rushed. He answered my questions and addressed my concerns with respect and kindness. I was even scared to try the nitrous oxide (laughing gas!), but the assistant Nancy chatted with me as the drug did its work.And work it did! I was as calm as I could be under the circumstances and even my needle-phobia was pretty much entirely quelled.After I was all numbed up, Dr. Fisher worked swiftly and skillfully. Nancy put Avatar on and as I watched the movie, didnt feel a thing.When all was said and done, Dr. Fisher checked his work meticulously and made several adjustments to the filling before he was satisfied. He even texted me to check in at the end of the day and see how my tooth was doing.I would recommend this practice to anyone, especially the incredibly dentist-phobic. It was a breeze and I am EXTREMELY pleased with the experience!
