As helpful. I also bought a mascara she recommended which ended up being very dry hard to use and remove. I went back to pick up my glasses and all I wanted was to show her my eyes to see if it was serious and if I should see a doctor or if it was just part of the process. I want asking for a full throttle appointment just her opinion on whether or not I needed to see a doctor. My eyes got worse after seeing her so I thought it was a fair question. I didnt expect a full visit just a recommendation on whether or not I should see a doctor. I was told by the front desk person that if I wanted to talk to her it would be $180 dollars after I had already paid so much money in my last visit. Not to mention that my two kids got their eyes checked and my husband also got his eyes checked and bought drops and a heat mask. This place does not care about you. They just want your money stay away especially if you have an HMO. My eye is worse and I am gong to find a place that is under my network. One more thing I dont know if this is a coincidence but after the visit the next day my kids had pink eye and theyve never had before until then.

Great optometry office! Our family has gone to Avant Eyes for a wide range of services over the past year and a half, including standard vision checks, glasses and dry eye treatment. With dry eye symptoms in particular, Dr. Kataria took her time to understand my symptoms and what in office + home treatment regimen would best fit my symptoms and my lifestyle. She was realistic and understood what is manageable for met to help customize the treatment, which I greatly appreciated. I have had dramatic improvement for something I just thought I would have to always live with. For glasses, our family has ordered sunglasses and regular glasses and have been extremely happy every time. I also appreciate they have texting options for booking and confirming appointments, which makes things so easy. We are thankful to have found such a wonderful eye doctor!

Avant is amazing! I was checked in right away and didn’t have to wait. They have the newest, latest equipment, making the appointment quick and pleasant. Dr. Hardeep Kataria is amazing. I have been under the care of Dr K at Avant eyes for approximately 2 years.The cleanliness of the office speaks for itself. Being in the medical profession myself I know if someone lives dirty the care is probably sloppy as wellI always have Dr. k’s full time and attention. Everything is explained from what the procedure is that is going to be performed to cost of what’s covered and what will have to be my responsibility. More importantly is the risks vs the benefits and potential side effects. I am never rushed and I am never pressured into a decision. I love this office and have the utmost respect for Dr K. and would trust her with anyone in my family.That’s a pretty big deal considering I know medicine and have been in the field for 23 years. Trusting my family to a practitioner is a big deal. I am skeptical by nature when it comes to just about everything but I have not one negative word to say about this Doctor and her practice. Thanks for taking such good care of me!!!

The entire staff at Avant Eyes Optometry are courteous and kind. Dr. Kataria was thorough. They took photos of the interior of my eyes and found an issue that ultimately led me to an ophthalmologist for surgery. Had we not found it, I would have gone blind in that eye.

I always have the best experiences at Avant Eyes.I first went when I was having eye pain and my previous doctor told wasn’t available. Dr. Kataria saw me within 30 minutes of my call and had me feeling better within hours. Avant Eyes Optometry exceeded my expectations and I had an amazing experience from scheduling appointment, actual eye exam and getting my eyeglasses. Dr. K is very friendly, detailed, knowledgeable, and caring. She took her time explaining the results of my eye exam and gave me a LOT of valuable information that I can use to better take care of my eyes. The machines used for my eye exam are all new and state-of-the art 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. The clinic is super clean and conveniently located at The Vineyards at Porter Ranch. BONUS: When I picked up my eyeglasses, they gave me a free lens cleaner and I was told that I can have it refilled free anytime 😃 and I got a nice thank you card with a personal note. Wow!

Dr. Kataria is an excellent Doctor. My three kids had an appointment. She is super friendly, made my kids feel very comfortable. My youngest loved her accent. The pandemic had the kids glued to computers and tablets for two long years if not longer. My youngest (10yr old) is starting to have issues his his meibomian glands and she is the perfect doctor for this. We left her office with immediate treatment. Her extensive knowledge on Dry Eye and other conditions is why I trust my children to her care.

Once again, an amazing appointment with my new eye doctor! Dr. Kataria makes me feel seen and heard when I’m there. You can tell she gives every one of her patients her undivided attention. She is always so attentive and thorough in her explanation of my eye health. Easy to understand and she covers everything. The appointments are always quick and to the point and the rest of the staff are equally as helpful and friendly! I ordered my glasses a few weeks ago and they gave it to me in a fancy tray with a personalized card from Dr. Kataria. Such a thoughtful and sweet detail! I truly feel like they want to make sure it is all about you when you come in. It seems like it is also appointment only and I can see why. Dr Kataria is amazing! I saw her today for first the time and I had a great experience. She was very thorough in the exam and explained everything along the way. She doesn’t rush through and gives you time to ask questions. You could feel that she is invested in your eyesight. No wonder she’s #5 in News Week’s top eye doctors of 2022. I’ve been seeing optometrists since I was 8 years old and Dr. Kataria is one of the best I’ve have the pleasure to know. Her eye exams are thorough, and she’s even helped me manage my dry eye. She does an excellent job of explaining why I need to use certain types of products and how to use them as well. You can tell she really cares about her patients and wants to help get their eye health in the best possible shape. She really is an expert at all things eye related, not just getting you fitted for glasses of contact lenses. That said, her frame selection is one of the best I’ve seen. Her staff is wonderful as well and give a personal touch to your visit. You will not be disappointed if you see her.

I had such a great experience here this past weekend. I made an appointment to choose my new snazzy frames and was treated so kindly. The staff helped gave me their 💯 percent, and paid great attention to exactly what I had wanted and was looking for. I feel like as I get older I like different style frames and they have a nice selection to choose from. I also took my 3 year old here and had a lovely experience with the staff and doctor. They made her feel so comfortable and also got some delicious goodies and treat which made it easier with a toddler. I will definitely be going to then for all my eye care needs! Dr. Kataria and her staff are fantastic to deal with from making an appointment, meeting the doctor, and choosing new glasses. This is a small and beautiful office with plenty of parking. Dr. Kataria seems to have all the latest, modern equipment and makes sure her patients are very comfortable, including my favorite - no anxiety-inducing puffs of air in your eye! She did not rush and was very thorough with my exam and answering all my questions. They have a very nice selection of eyewear to choose from with a very kind and experienced staff member to aid in your selection and get you fitted properly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Avant Eyes. Dr. Kataria is one of the greatest doctors I’ve ever met. I made an appointment for my son (age 10) after he failed an eye test at school. Dr. K spent over an hour examining his eyes, answering all his questions and mine, and helped him pick out a pair of glasses that he is actually excited about wearing! For the first time ever he’s not struggling to see the board in his classroom.After being so pleased with Christian’s experience I made an appointment for myself, and I was beyond pleased with my experience. There are not enough things I could say to capture the amazing experience I had with Avant Eyes. I have been with my prior optometrist for almost 11 years and decided to check out Avant Eyes due to proximity from home and work. Starting off with the online scheduling system, making an appointment was very easy and the team responded almost immediately. As soon as you walk into the office, you instantly feel at ease as Dr. Kataria has created a very serene environment. The office is equipped with the most modern, top of the line technology which made the eye exam quick and easy. No puffs to measure eye pressure! The consultation itself is one I will never forget and set the bar, at least for me. Dr. Kataria is warm, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable in her craft. Talking to her was like talking to a friend. She educates you and ensures that you are well informed, and understand the decisions being made. She helped me understand the root cause of some of the symptoms I was experiencing. She was compassionate in her honesty that while it was not reversible, I can definitely treat it and make it better. Even the process of getting fitted for my new frames was great.
