We’ve been living here for almost 3 years, and its one of the best places to live.Ashlay and the management team are amazing. They are responsive, professional, and really care about making this a great place to live.All maintenance requests that we’ve put in have been handled super quickly, and they go above and beyond to ensure that the community is well-maintained.I’d highly recommend living here!

My family and I needed our faucets and shower water fixed. The Tech, Valdo came to our place as soon as he could, surveyed and identified the issue quickly. He was able to fix the issue in less than an hour, and now it’s working as good as new! We love this community, especially with the communication and excellent service that Valdo has provided. He is an outstanding person and a great asset to the Avalon Glendale community. So grateful!

My partner and I have lived here for almost 3 years and this is by far the best apartment and community weve ever lived at together. When I first moved in I was so apprehensive. Ashlay walked me through every step and helped me with things I don’t think were even in her job discrimination. She answered silly questions and we laughed about them together. Ashlay is one hard working lady and genuinely cares about people.

We have lived here the past 2 1/2 years in the three bedroom townhouse and have loved it. Two adults, two teenagers, and a dog have no complaints about the staff or crew at Avalon. They are all lovely, friendly people that try their best to make sure we enjoy the community. They remember the little details like putting birthday cards on our doors and always quick to do maintenance repairs. Location is awesome and the complex is always quiet.

Horrible move in process. They didn’t provide any instructions for the move in. I arranged for my furniture to be delivered on move in day but the leasing office refused to let the movers in unless I jumped through several hoops that they failed to inform me about BEFORE move in day. I already deeply regret leasing with company. Very disorganized and unprofessional.

I have been living at Avalon Glendale for almost a year now, and I truly love it. Ashlay is always so knowledgeable and friendly. She also creates these very and engaging community events for everyone. The maintenance staff is always top notch as well. They are always prompt and helpful. I never wait longer than two days for something to get resolved no matter how big or small. Clarence is the team lead and always very nice. Their newest member Ben, was stellar! He came yesterday to fix a problem with my fridge, and he was very personable and thorough. He explained the process to me and told me how I could prevent it in the future. I am excited to continue living in this wonderful community.

The entire process from touring the rooms on my own to setting up the paperwork to moving in, was made very easy and effortless. The property is clean and safe and all the neighbors are very nice. I love the 24 hour gym and the other amenities as well. Happy to be living here. Benjamin‘s been doing an amazing job helping me with my air-conditioning issues during this hot summer.

I have been at Avalon Glendale over a decade now. I love this place and consider it as my forever home. What makes it amazing is the Maintenance Department headed by Clarence Turner. Clarence is a caring soul and always available no matter what time it is during the day, night and even weekends. Clarence does not waste time as you always see him rushing from one job to another. Clarence hired the best team to help out around the complex. They respond immediately to the request service and always have a smile on their faces. Thank you Clarence and your maintenance team for always being there for all our complex needs.

My husband and I are thinking about moving to Southern California because of the beautiful beaches and weather. A lot of our friends and family live in the Pasadena and Glendale area. We visited Avalon Glendale about 2 weeks ago and was very impressed with not only the apartment and the amenities, but also the help we received from one of the employee Clarince. He was so friendly and answered all our questions. He told us that he actually lives in the property himself and loves it. We are putting Avalon Glendale as one of our top contenders!

My family and I moved here about 3 months ago. We moved from Woodland Hills, so we are new to Glendale. Ever since our first tour at Avalon we were blown away with how clean and well kept the community is. The apartments are very nice and up to date. Lots of different floor plans to choose from. The staff here is awesome! Maintenance team is very responsive and efficient! Tamela and Ashlay in the Leasing Office are absolutely AMAZING! You will love it here.

We have lived here at Avalon for 8 years. Recently, we downsized from one of the larger apartments to a smaller one. As we know moving can be very hectic. My husband and I work and we happen to be in the senior category. So that makes hectic an understatement.I am not one to write reviews but I am so impressed with the prompt responses, professionalism, patience, kindness and assistance of Ashley, and Clarence with the process, that I could not help but write a review.Ashley not only deserves this positive feedback but without trying she puts out such a positive and refreshing vibe that it is a pleasure to go into the office and work with her. She is a ray of sunshine. Working with the public can be challenging but she makes it seem so easy.We as a people have no problem writing about the negative experiences we encounter, that when we have such a positive one it should be acknowledged.

My youngest daughter moved to this complex from Prado down the street. Ashlay is so nice and friendly. She is very personable and says hello to everyone! People & Pets! She is always prompt and responsive to all her questions and concerns!She loves it so much that she had Ashlay help her older sister to find an apt at Avalon! Ive lived at four Avalon properties over the last decade and a half or so and Glendale has been by far my favorite. For such a large complex, its surprisingly cozy & quiet. Sometimes it even feels like a sleepy beachside resort but without the beach! Having a Ralphs (with a Starbucks) and a dry cleaners just half a block away is ridiculously convenient although having a Baskin-Robbins that close has been a little dangerous. There are also tons more shops & restaurants within a few blocks walk. The handful of service requests Ive had to open have all been handled swiftly. Lastly, but most importantly, the Leasing Office staff are rock stars. Kind and funny and engaged and generous! I love living here. Looking forward to renewing my lease.

We moved in a couple months ago and everything is going great. I do wish the gym was upgraded and that there was a recreational area similar to what we have at the AVA Little Tokyo. After 9 years of living at Avalon in Glendale, we unfortunately had to move out of state for my husbands job. Tamela and Ashlay that run the property are phenomenal. They are so kind, always have an upbeat attitude, and plan some many nice activities and treats for the community. Ashlay was always so kind to print something for me when our printer was broken. Even after moving out she even made sure a package got to our new home. I cannot say enough wonderful things about these two ladies. Ive been living here for nearly three years and this is seriously the best apartment ever. The folks that run this apartment complex go out of their way to make the people who live here feel like theyre part of a community with complex-wide activities, warm/funny emails, and top-notch amenities. Any apartment-related issues are resolved quickly. I had a minor issue involving my toilet tank that sprung up for the first time ever recently, and Avalon sent one of their guys to fix it right away, despite it just being a minor problem. Shout out to Uriel and the rest of the professional maintenance technicians that keep this complex running beautifully. The Avalon team is amazing!

We just signed our lease and moved in today. The process from signing application to moving in took less than 48 hours. This is all thanks to their Supergirl Ashlay! She was very easy to work with and managed the process very efficiently and effectively. A+ in my book. The best apartment complex I have lived at during my adult life. The front staff, Ashlay and Tamala, are very friendly and are very helpful with solving any problems you may have with the apartment. The maintenance staff is also very punctual and efficient whenever you submit a fixing submittal. I recently moved away due to a job opportunity but if I ever find myself moving back down to the area, I wouldnt hesitate to reconsider moving back to Avalon Glendale.

Technically we moved in about a month ago but officially been residing here for about 2-3 weeks. Starting from the day of the tour, It has been an extremely pleasant experience so far. Overall The Avalon Glendale is a pleasant place to live. Theres a diverse mix of residents and everyone in the complex is friendly and respectful. The complex is also dog friendly and theres a nice area for the furry ones to run around. The pool is a wonderful amenity especially on those hot days and occasional power outages. There is 24 hour access to the gym which is well kept with a nice variety of equipment and workout areas. Maintenance requests are easy to submit through the Avalon portal and are addressed promptly.The staff and front office are amazing and do everything in their power to make sure resident complaints are handled in a timely manner. Tamela and Ashlay are awesome! They always bring a positive attitude and are very attentive. They setup numerous themed get-togethers which are great opportunities to eat and socialize with fellow neighbors.If I had to list any areas that could be improved upon Id say it would be the driveway entrance/exit on Central Ave. Some residents tend to speed out of the driveway onto Central without properly checking for pedestrians on either side before proceeding. Maybe some sort of stop sign and occasional e-mail reminder would help mitigate this situation. Also a reminder to residents to make sure they pick up after their pets in the common area to avoid any smells.All in all my wife and I have enjoyed our stay here!

I love this apartment complex. It has all the amenities I want out of a place. The apartments themselves are really nice and the community itself is a joy to walk through. Maintainace around here is actually super quick and the service is awesome. The building manager Ashley has been a huge help since I moved in last year. We have lived at Avalon Glendale almost for 14 years. For many years we were very happy and received excellent service. The community was maintained very well. In the last few years the rent has increased and the service decreased. We noticed the change when the housing market crashed and the need for rental properties increased! In the last few months we have noticed an improvement in some areas. We continue to live here, because we see it as home, our son has grown up here and does not want to move. It is convenient and yes the price is high, but its still more reasonable than others with less amenities in Glendale. We are here to stay and make the comments, because we care. I am sure we will be able to give a 5 by next year!Wow! Its already up to 4. I am impressed that management has taken action to improve our environment. Tri in the office is terrific! Thank you!

If you love bugs, this is the place for you. Plenty inside the apartment. I never had issues with being Bitten. Ever since we moved here, almost every other day there are bites on my feet.The staff is very friendly, two ladies that work in the front office are super sweat. Until you want to move out. Than they show their true colors. I had already paid rent until the end of the month (23 days). I was on month to month paying way more that what was offered, I told them I finally found a place I liked. So they told me I had to give a written 30 day notice, and pay extra for the remaining days. I lost out on the other apartment. Thank you very much. You guys are greedy people with no understanding. Paid over 2 years, on time every time and you guys do me like this.Other complaints: Walls are very thin,.Too many animals and smell of animal waste. If there are any neighbors above you, good luck sleeping with the noise. Pool area is usually full of kids and noises.Look elsewhere.. (You are barely going to use the pool, Not worth it)

I really really love this place. The staff is amazing. Its by far one of the best places Ive lived in. Theyre also really pet-friendly and most of the apartments are families, so its nice to have such a friendly community that has such a welcoming presence.I love the available guest parking, it has made a world difference knowing my company has a place to park for when they arrive. Our amazon packages are also super safe with the amazon hub where we can pick them up.I love their events that they put together and I show up without any shame! This is home... If you want a cozy, home feel to apartment living this is the best place in Glendale. We are going on two years here. Location is amazing!Anytime you have multi-people living you will have a difference in levels of cleanliness... however, the office is quick to address it. I moved into Avalon Glendale a couple months ago with some roommates, and we are absolutely thrilled with this community. When we first toured with Ashlay, we were kind of skeptical because things seemed too good to be true. The unit comes with appliances, there’s a nice gym, pool, and little dog park, and parking. After just a few months of living here, we’ve all agreed this isn’t just our apartment complex, but it’s our home.The community looks somewhat small from the outside, but it’s so much bigger inside so it feels safer and much more private than anywhere else I’ve lived.While there were a few issues with appliances in our unit, Ashlay has always been kind and quick to get us the help we need. Plus, she’s funny and genuine, which really makes us feel like we’re being taken care of here. She’s the best! Move here!

I moved in with two of my great friends back in October. I used to reside at the Avalon Burbank, but this place (to me) seems more homey and comfortable. I call it home, and it isnt just because its where my things are, or a place where I sleep. Its the people that work there and the ones I live with that make it so special and a place to call home. I have live at Avalon for almost 2 year Jason who works who handles the community relations is simply awesome every I have a issue such as my ac not working due to a clog filter he assured that I was taking care off within 24hrs. I lived at Avalon in Glendale for 1 year, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Yes, the property was beautifully kept. Yes, the pool and workout room were everything I needed to relax and tone up. Yes, the building layout insulated the local sounds to help me live in peace and quiet. BUT more than all of that, the people that worked there (Tamela and Ashlay in the office and all the maintenance crew) were above and beyond what I could have asked for. From the cute, little emails about multiple events and free food in the office to the simple hellos as I walked through the complex, these people really cared about me. Me, my wife and baby (less than a year old) moved in to the Avalon Glendale shortly after the lockdown took effect and lived there for 6 months. We moved out as we were fortunate to be able to buy a house. It was quite simply the best experience we could have hoped for as a short stay during a pandemic. The premises are clean and well maintained and the Townhouse was also spotless clean and cozy when we moved in but what really made our stay so pleasant was the support and service provided by the building managers Ashlay and Tamela. I’ve lived in a few buildings over the years and they are by far and away the most professional and caring building managers I’ve ever had. Ashlay especially made us feel at home from day one in what was an incredibly stressful period of time for which my family and I will always be thankful.

Everybody in the management office here is very nice and efficient, from the maintenance technicians to the service supervisor.For us, its the key: Feeling safe and being heard.If you have an issue or you see something wrong (I dont call that, denunciation but common sense...), you can report that to the office, they will immediately take care of the issue. I have lived in apartments basically my whole life, and for anyone in a similar situation, you know the pain of moving into a place that has a great on site management staff that ends up leaving, getting transferred, or otherwise changing, bringing the entire experience of living there from a 10 to a 0 really fast. Well, that doesnt happen here. Tamela and Ashlay, the two property managers on site, are incredible. Theyre friendly and accommodating, they know literally everybodys name (which is extremely impressive on its own), and they consistently go out of their way to make sure your living situation is the best it can be.As for the complex itself, its extremely well maintained. Since the walkways are all outdoors, you get a much bigger sense of living in a community than you do a complex. There are a lot of trees and greenery, a lot of natural light in most units, and even though its basically on a major street, you never really hear traffic at all (Ive been here for a year and a half and Ive heard a siren from an ambulance maybe 4 times).The units are great, the floorplans really make them feel more like homes than apartments, and unless youre doing something very loud like playing an instrument/singing loudly/yelling, you really dont have any noise transfer between units (at least not in my experience).Maintenance is great, and prompt. If you have an issue, they jump on it, and if they arent able to fix a problem for you then and there, theyre always very communicative on the process of fixing/replacing something, timelines, etc.Overall, best apartment/townhome community Ive ever lived in, would absolutely recommend moving here.

She is an exceptional manager, a ridiculously resourceful, creative, and intelligent human being; and she is always relatable. From being helpful about what to do with guest parking and deliveries when one goes on vacation, to generating and overseeing community events, to humanely arranging neighborhood coyote removal/relocation strategies so as to insure the safety of walking pets outside the gates of the complex; she is unflinching, dedicated, and a solution-focused manager whom we trust and respect implicitly. We consistently feel that we will be heard, seen, and that whatever problem we need help with, it will be attended to quickly, thoroughly, and completely.Maintenance Team:2. Joe: He is professional, hard working, and exemplary as a lead in his department. He is informative to talk to, thoughtful, and diligent. Moved in a bit over 90 days ago, and could not be happier!*Added COVID notes to each section; because it matters to see how a place works during a pandemic!Floorplans:We chose a 3BR/3BA townhome as we work from home (pre-COVID) and have family out of state. The layout of the floor plan makes you feel like youre in your own home and not an apartment. The space is used wisely to get the most of the square footage, which can be tricky with 2 flights of stairs! We get plenty of natural light for our cats to sun bathe, and this is probably the biggest patio we have had at any of our complexes.COVID Note: I have not left my front door in over 85 days and I do not feel cramped in my townhome, having the separate floors is great to give my husband and I space if we need it.Noise:What Noise?! I have yet (knock on wood) to hear my neighbors through the walls. We are the top two floors, when either of us is upstairs walking around normal, we cannot hear it from below. We did do a huge noise test when looking here as we came from “shiny new apartment” that was paper thin everything and noise was #1 on our list.Yes, you can hear neighbors outside if you have your windows open, I mean… that’s normal. No one is obnoxiously loud; everyone has been respecting quiet hours. If you’re looking for a place you can relax when you are home, this is it. Ambient noise from sirens and helicopters is extremely low for this area, especially if your unit is not on the edge of the community. In 90 days, I have heard sirens only twice.COVID Note: With everyone being home, you worry noise may increase, I did not notice any change!Management/Staff:Avalon Glendale is my 15+ place I have lived in, Avalon Management and Staff is #1. There are grocery stores and shops within walking distance. Downtown Glendale is a mile down the road. Highway access is super easy to pop on the 134/5/2/210. Griffith is close for hiking, trails, parks, Park & Ride to Hollywood Bowl. Avalon Glendale is the BEST. Heres why: Its a 100% answer ... 100% The Community Team: Tamela and Ashlay (there are others that come and go but their movements are inconsequential to me in contrast/comparison to these two magnificent examples of absolutely outrageous customer service). Both are always 100% ABOVE and BEYOND. I have never experienced or seen anything like it - what they do and how they do it. And, they are funny, too. Both display a great sense of humor which, unfortunately, not all Community Leasing Office teams are willing to do. I moved into an Avalon Community (Studio City, CA) in 2012 and was unsatisfied with the team there, so much so that I, later, moved the family to the Glendale Avalon Community - it was better, friendlier but not perfect. Then, one day - with absolutely NO WARNING Tamela appeared (from the sky?) and, as the Beatles sang in their hit song Help! ... and now my life has changed in oh so many ways ... She was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Filled with some kind of Southern Charm that we are just not accustomed to around these parts - and she was funny as heck but also very personable - a great listener and a real doer - at Avalon Glendale, she really made a difference ... I was happy and satisfied and completely certain that there was no way it could get any better - really - and then - one of those amazing life-things happened - Tamela announced that there would be a new girl coming in to help her in the office - and you know, I didnt even make note of said new girls name ... I was so happy with Tamela that, I believed that I could need nothing else. See - here is where the life twist comes in ... I was so certain that there could never be another Tamela and then - POW! ZAP! BOOM!- It happened ... Ladies and Gentleman, may we introduce you to ... to ... to ... ASHLAY!! Well, I suppose you could say that now, finally and at last, my life was complete! Used to live here for years and everything was good until they changed management and everything went downhill. Other tenants can agree with this as well. I had all my cars broken into here and apparently this place has “cameras” and “security” that they refused to help look up footage as well. Not only do they raise your rent drastically every year (we are paying over $850 more than when we moved in), they have very strict rules and I WAS YELLED at today by one of THEIR STAFF. I AM PREGNANT and I was in TEARS after his call. Extremely unprofessional. I have boxes in my parking space which violates their rules. I understand they have rules but there is no excuse for their rudeness. I hope anyone reading this looks elsewhere because I wouldnt recommend living here. They offer no options for storage and if your kids leave their bikes out, you will get lease violation notices on your door. I have never been treated so rudely in my life.

Lived here for 2 years. $200 rent increases every year, pet droppings everywhere, trash rooms overflowing. When I moved out was slapped with a huge bill for $700 for spots on the carpet because they claimed they needed to remove the carpet. I disputed the charge and then a few weeks later I get a call that my account is post due, I told the person that I had disputed the charge and they told me it was a personal choice to dispute the charge and it didnt change the due date and if I didnt pay, it would immediately get sent to collections. Basically leaving me with no options. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. There are more affordable and reasonable places in Glendale.
