First time here after a 10 mile run with my husband and Pastor friend. I ordered a Watermelon Wonder smoothie and a plain toastED bagel with cream cheese. Simple but very delicious. There was a large selection of bagels to choose from and another menu on top of that. The spread was generous, and the bagel was huge! The smoothie hit the spot and was delicious. Were definitely coming back. Theres indoor and outdoor seating.Highly recommend.

I love this place. Great bagels and burgers. The brioche bread they make has to be my favorite bun for any burger. It holds up and doesnt fall apart while having great taste and texture. Their variety of cream cheeses are just as great as their variety of bagels. You will not be disappointed.

A lovely breakfast spot!! they handmade their bagels with lots of flavors to choose from. Their Breakfast Special is an amazing deal! So filling! The fries are crispy and flavored and bagel is delicious! would highly recommend.We also got the Lox and cream cheese w/ red onions and tomatoes. Also a new favorite! Red onions paired so nicely and helped cut through the lox taste. They even unexpectedly came with candied fruit and bagel chips! Absolutely in love with this place.Very clean! Not too crowded. The workers are extremely friendly and kind. Please go check them out!

This was the first time to this location from a suggestion since I love bagels. The food was okay, it didnt taste that fresh but it was edible. The employee Mary was very serious and would not accommodate a simple request of putting cream cheese on a bagel breakfast sandwich which was odd because most other places would do that no problem. Customer service goes a long way, so does a smile. They delivered to our table fast but with the wrong bagel i wanted and we confirmed just before paying. I didnt complain because I didnt want to wait for them to create a new one, the bacon was burnt! Not even slightly overcooked but just burnt bacon which is surprising since it looked like it came from a package just like the eggs. I did request a side of cream cheese to put on myself since they would not add it to the bagel breakfast sandwich which took two seconds. The eggs tasted a little rubbery, they were not fresh and seems to be defrosted, warmed up and served under the burnt bacon. The power/energy bagel bar was good with simple strawberry cream cheese though, glad I ordered that since this breakfast sandwich was a fail.

I ordered the grilled chicken salad for the 1st time. It has two different cheeses, plus croutons, but I asked for no croutons which they accommodated my request. They have a nice patio outside perfect on mildly warm days. I love Avalons.

Updated. Food is great. Burgers are one of the best in yorba linda. Bagels are also delicious. Customer service was way better this vsit. Coffee is self serve from a thermos. Several options including decafe. Inside and outside seating options available.

I’ve been coming here for years and my go to used to be the egg jack avocado tomato melt but now I am completely obsessed with the breakfast burrito. The salsa and spicy ranch on the side is killer.Not only is the menu great, but so is the staff. Especially Mary! We love seeing Mary everytime we go. A trip to Avalon is never complete unless we see her.

This used to be the BEST place to come for begels. The jalepeno begel with avacado, cucumber and lemon pepper used to be amazing. When i got it today i was very disappointed! The begel had three Giant pieces of cucumber, barely any lemon pepper. Will not be returning. Will have to find another begel spot!

Dropped in after happily noticing it on my way home from a doctors appointment.Picked up a dozen bagels with cream cheese for $18.99. The selection was very good, especially considering that it was 2pm on a weekday afternoon. All bagel connoisseurs know you must start early if you want the best selection!Family and I decimated the bagels in less than 48hrs. We WILL definitely return.

Nice cozy atmosphere for enjoying breakfast, lunch, or just a snack. Their outdoor patio is lovely. Dog treats are sold and dogs are welcome in the patio. I love their smoothies, especially the Mega Blast, which tastes like an Orange Julius. The half-sandwich and salad combo is the perfect size for a healthy lunch.

This place is a weekend staple for my wife and me. We love the breakfast bagel sandwiches and the cottage fries are always a popular item. If you’re planning on doing takeout, I’d recommend calling ahead and placing an order. This place can get very busy, especially on the weekends.

Food was amazing, usually visit the one located in Placentia but I must admit the service is better at this one. My sandwich was wrong but I was hungry and it still looked delicious so I said it was fine. Only thing strange was the bill was higher than usual. Not sure if I was charged incorrectly or if the prices just went up. Two sandwiches, two fries, two drinks was nearly $40. Wish I would have gotten my receipt but wasnt given one and I didnt question it until now that Im reviewing them.

The staff was super friendly but very busy when myself and family visited. My burger was undercooked and took >15min to receive our food. Kudos to the hardworking owner, who not only took the time to empty the trash around the facility, while his staff ignored, but also was seen jumping into the kitchen to help out. Worth a shot. I prefer the jalapeño burger.

Place needs a refresh. Looking old, tired and dirty.Soda dispenser is completely gross and should have been replaced years ago. Bacteria farm in ice and dispensers for sure.The entire coffee counter is unsanitary and really needs to be redone and cleaned well.Worried about getting sick if I eat here now.i.e. if its this bad forward facing the customer, what must the back kitchen look like thats out of sight?

The Nutty Doodle coffee is the best. All the food items are great as well. My favorites are the Oatmeal and the cinnamon raisin muffin with peanut butter and bananas. The new impossible burger here is the best Ive had compared to say the burger king one.Nicole the manager is the best and the place runs great when she is there.

Of all the days to loose our order. My husband called in our order and when I arrived the line was very long. Understandable. When I got to the front they couldn’t find our order. She said we must have ordered from the other location. Drove to the other location and no order! I had my husband call the number he first called and it went to the Yorba Linda store! So our order was just lost. Normally not a huge deal but I brought our son with me who is Autistic abs he only knows the Yorba Linda store and did not understand why we were leaving. What a frustrating way to start our our morning. (Props to the Placentia location for stepping up and making our order super fast!)

This place is by far one of my places to go to when I am in the Yorba Linda area. They make all kinds of sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. I had the bacon and egg omelete sandwich which was so tasty. Bacon was perfectly crispy and the eggs were not burnt. I love coming here because the outdoor eating area is very well shaded and kept very clean.

Bagels were great. My wife had a toasted sesame seed with cream cheese. I had a toasted everything bagel with creamed cheese. One of our party had a ham melt and one had a burger. All food was fresh made and very tasty. We will go back. You wont be dissppointed.

Avalon has a great selection of fresh and tasty bagels! They offer open face as well as traditional sandwiches and burgers on bagels. Ive not had a burger but their sandwiches are very good. Food was good. Customer service was not good. Walked in to get a pick up order and one nice lady helped me out and she was very polite, however there was a group of younger girls who worked there that were chatting next to the register and ignored the customers who were behind me. The lady that helped me out had to tell them multiple times to stop their conversation and help the waiting customers. Very unprofessional. Not a good look for the business.

While my 3 year old is at her ballet class I was told by one of the moms this place was great for a bite. I had an hour to kill so Im here having the lunch special. A roast beef sandwich with avocado on a poppy seed bun.I grab an iced tea and sit on the patio while I wait for my sandwich. Its nice. Im in the shade, I can hear birds chirping and some girls gossiping near the entrance. Its nice. Then my food came.This is fresh, tasty and it come with some yummy crunchy bagel chips. The sandwich was on my plate just long enough for the picture I took to post on here.Next weekend when the little ones dance class is happening, Ill be here, trying another bagel sandwich and eves dropping on the crew near the door.

They have Great breakfasts and I come here several days each week. The older lady is really sweet, very friendly and interactive with the customers, shes great. However, the younger blonde that works there in the morning just has an attitude about her ...I have now experienced this on several occasions. She rolls her at eyes at the older woman, she talks to customers as if she doesnt have the time of day. Shes just rude. The first few times I thought maybe shes just tired or having a bad day, but no...its been to many times now. As a customer I am bringing my service to you 3-4 days a week, and wont hesitate to take it elsewhere. She needs an attitude adjustment.

I cant rate the food, no one ever took my order. They seemed to be having problems with their computers, one girl was working on that while the other refilled things like napkins or something...completely ignoring me and a couple of other customers waiting to order. I get it if you cant take an order because youre having issues with your computer but at least acknowledge the customer that are waiting to order..sorry, itll be just a minute but the girl just seemed completely frustrated that she was going to have to reprint a bunch of orders and to hell with the people that have to wait. I dont know if Ill try again, probably not. Poor customer service.

Awesome mom and pop place.Hubby and I have been wanting a good bagel place since we moved into the area. I actually used to work at a cafe that specialized in making their own bagels, so Ive always been a tough critic when it came down to anything breakfast/cafe/bagel related.Anyways, Im a Yelp hound: anything that catches my (or hubbys) eye, then well try out the place. Totally not disappointed.When you walk in, bagels are towards your left, cream cheese straight ahead, and cashier area a little to the right. Seating area on the complete right side of the cafe. You can phone in your order ahead of time and pick up at the cashier. All bagels are the same price, and I think they make them throughout the day, as we got some nice, fresh, still-warm ones in the middle of the afternoon before. While you wait, check out the little toy train between the cashier and the seating area that has been running for decades!Were still trying to get through their entire menu. Havent been able to get through all of it because some of their menu items are soooo good that we dont want to order anything else (and I tend to be the adventurous one in the relationship...). Some of our faves: super club, super cheeseburger, green chile burger, egg/cheese/ham breakfast melt on bagel, OJ smoothie (one of hubbys faves, as its very similar to an Orange Julius). I do like their Cobb salad, and we love all of the bagels that has the cheese on top, and hubby likes their everything bagel, which has the poppyseed and sesame seeds.Service has been excellent. They have the motto that they reserve the right to overserve their customers. With us, they have definitely gone above and beyond to make sure were satisfied with our order. Never had any issue with any of the staff or any of our orders. And, even if there was a mistake, they fess up to it before we realized, and they do what they can to make it right. I totally respect that.Parking is fine. In same center as the 24-hour fitness, near Phillys Best and McDonalds.Awesome.
