Whenever I needed support or guidance, AutoPom has always been there to address my concerns, lend an ear, offer recommendations, and stand up for me, regardless of how many instances it required. I have received numerous phone calls from the companys owner on multiple occasions.This organization functions as a middleman, serving as a mediator between the parties involved. They engage in negotiations on behalf of both you and the extended warranty company. Well, that’s what they did for me.Regrettably, there have been multiple cases where extended warranty companies have refused to honor claims submitted by repair facilities. The extended warranty provider declines a portion of the claim, resulting in me having to agree to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars.If its expected to be included, then absolutely not!Every time, I politely call AutoPom and ask if this is covered, or if this is considered ordinary or within the usual range. I have no expertise in mechanics or law. I am familiar with the terms of my contract.There have been instances where I was mistaken. To ensure my complete comprehension, they kindly clarified the specifics by mentioning the possibility of taking my car to an alternate repair shop, and all my other rights. During that period, they went to the extent of assisting me in locating a warranty-covered shop within my town, and towing company.They offer military discounts, cover older cars with high mileage, reward loyalty, and paying off your contract early or in full.I have had two Volkswagens covered through them that both have had over 130k miles and now will be covered with full extended warranties through 250k miles. You won’t find another company that will beat that!

Signed up after talking w owner at length about how his company was different than others, no games with coverage, etc. Despite reservations, I signed up. Paid premiums on time etc.After nearly a year, finally had a claim involving radiator and low antifreeze. Before bringing to shop, I added antifreeze, drove a few miles. Didn’t solve problem, so brought to shop. Mechanic said I needed a new radiator. Mechanic (whom I’ve used for years) called Autopom’s insurer, who denied claim entirely, even though covered, because I DROVE CAR FOR A FEW MILES TO SEE IF THE LOW ANTIFREEZE WAS THE ISSUE. Mechanic agreed that it was appropriate for me to test that way before bringing to shop.When I called Autopom and spoke again to owner, he first agreed that mechanic and I were right to be concerned. But after he told me that the insurer for whom Autopom had sold me a policy had gone bankrupt and there was a new insurer (which they never previously advised me) and that he had no influence with them, he then said that the issue WASN’T covered by the policy that they sold me.At this point, my worst fears about these policies being scammy were realized. I asked for the policy to be canceled immediately, and he agreed to refund my premiums because I hadn’t made a claim. I received a refund check in the mail soon thereafter, which is why Autopom gets 2 stars rather than 1.Obviously, my recommendation is to AVOID. This experience was the opposite of their representations about “auto peace of mind,” and I feel much better without this “insurance.”

I canceled a warranty to get this one because the sales pitch was that good. I brought my vehicle in to get fixed and it took 2 days for someone in claims to answer the phone, only to be told they only use email. My mechanic could not get in contact with anyone. Once contact was made, I was told nothing would be approved unless the car is sitting at the shop. Had it not took 2 days to get someone on the phone this would not have been an issue. So far I am not impressed with this company. Hopefully they make good on their services.Update: the claim was approved and the owner reached out to me to let me know they are working on being able to get through better. Super nice guy and with that said, I would definitely recommend this company for a warranty

I took my SUV to a local shop for a repair. The shop had to wait over an hour to speak to someone about the needed repair. I was told by the shop that the extended warranty company wanted to pay them for the shops cost of the parts, and less than their labor rate. When the shop said that wasnt acceptable, the company said theyd ship them the parts. The next day, they the shop called me and said the company cant get the parts, so Ill have to pay for them. I spent over $3,500 for the poli y and now they want me to pay almost $500 to have my car fixed.Dont walk away from this company - RUN!

I dont often write reviews but all I can say is WOW. I did my research on extended warranties as I was buying a 2016 escalade that had only 22k miles back in 2020 and I know electronic failures can be expensive. One of the reasons I picked Autopom was I read a few great reviews about the owner. Here I am in 2023 and I had to make 2 claims at the same time regarding my engine lifters going bad and my navigation unit not working. I called Mike in the beginning really to just ask for advice on submitting a claim and who to go to etc. He warned me that the warranty company would only pay a certain hourly rate and I could get stuck with the rest. All the same, because I felt my issues were serious I went to the dealership. The discrepancy was $40 dollars an hour difference out of pocket. I again called Mike to just see what he thought because I was going to have to come out of pocket for the difference and we spoke a good bit. I called about 6:15 PM right before he was getting ready to head out the door and he heard me out. Told me to send over the repair order when I got it and we left it there. I was out of office all the next day but got a voicemail from the dealer servicing department stating that it looked like the warranty company offered more. Today it dawned on me that Mike might have had something to do with that so I called and I was right. Mike pulled the average hourly rates from that zip code and sent them over to the warranty company and they agreed saving me $600. Mike went above and beyond and this is real service. It seems like you hardly get service from anyone any more. Im not saying Mike is going to pull a rabbit out of a hat but he just might. I cant thank you enough and Im super glad that I bought this extended warranty. I know I could have had the job done cheaper but I chose to go with dealer more for their expertise on the problem. If was something simpler, I would go to a reputable local mechanic.Thanks Mike from Autopom for really looking out for me and going the extra distance. I very much appreciate it! One of the reasons I went through Autopom in the first place because it seemed like they cared!

I purchased a vehicle extended warranty for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland today. I received exceptional customer service and assistance from Robert. Thus far Autopom found the right coverage for my vehicle and provided me with a military discount. Its a sham if you ever actually have to go through the claim process it is basically set up to take sooooo long that you will have to give up on the warranty company having to pay for the claim. We were without our vehicle for 2 months waiting for the approval from the warranty company and they still only covered 70% of the cost. So much time was spent on this that it was simply not worth the hassle. Dont bother.

I spoke to Robert today about a maintenance plan for our 2017 Colorado. In fact, I spoke to several different companies about this issue. Robert seem to go above and beyond to help me find the right plan and assist in other general areas I happened to casually mention. I certainly will not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family.

The customer service person (Robert) was extremely helpful. I had a dozen or more questions, which he was willing to answer without hesitation. The few questions that I asked and he was not a 100 percent sure of he quickly found the answer for me, and was surprisingly upbeat about giving the answer.

I spoke with Robert and He was very helpful, friendly and honest in explaining the kind of coverage that My vehicle is eligible for. He also thoroughly explained everything that is covered under the extended warranty plan. At the end of our conversation He answered my questions without being your typical pushy salesman. Overall a much better experience Ive had with this company than other extended vehicle warranties and Autopom covers much more. I would definitely recommend this company to anybody looking for vehicle protection past 100,000 miles. They have some of the best deals for various types of coverage on the market.
