When I picked up the car, its detailed clean! I really didnt expect it. And you can also drop off the rental car there which it is convenient.The only thing I hope they can improve is the communication. It was hard to get a hold to the right person to get a car status update. I had to keep calling back in order to speak the right person. From insurance approval to car status, you have to proactively call them.

Auto Body of Escondido was great. I got rear ended and chose them since they are a Certified Subaru Collision shop. They took great care of my baby. The paint was matched perfectly and they even got my muffler repaired when they noticed it was dented. Wow who was working who. I was charged an inflated hourly rate because it was a Tesla, and the insurance company did not approve the hourly rate. It caused delays in getting my car fixed, and ultimately i did not have to pay the difference. Obviously they do this to get more revenue and sometimes the carriers will pay. $550 for a charging fee for my Tesla when it was full charged, $110 hourly charge when the carrier would only pay $70.14 days to replace a bumper.Dont come here unless you want the run around after a car crash. Horrible.

We have used Auto Body of Escondido twice in the last six months on different vehicles. They are very professional, friendly and worked well with my auto insurance company. They work quickly and, on both occasions, their work met and exceeded my expectations. After the repairs the exterior finish of the vehicles looked like new with no sign of the damage for which the cars were taken in being visible. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who might require body work/repair done on their vehicle.

I was in an accident and was given a referral by a friend to Escondido Auto Body, at first it looked like a small job but as the tecks got into the car they kept finding additional problems so I’m happy that they were pricey to the point that they went the extra mile to be sure of a full and accurate repair and my car looked new inside and out, I’m very happy with the results. The employees were helpful, courteous and seemed happy to help. I couldn’t have asked for better service 💕
Kept me informed throughout the process, made repairs quickly, delayed for parts but that was BMWs fault.
They did a fantastic job fixing my car after a crash. It took more time than expected due to Parts shortages. However, when the car was ready, it was good as new. There were some misalignments I noticed after the repair and they were able to get those fixed really quickly as well. One thing I would do make customers more happy is to keep them up to date on the progress without the customer having to follow up. Sometimes I went weeks without any update. Even after I follow up with email, I waited close to a week to get a response.
Alex Ruedas is the man! Outstanding customer service and very affordable. He serviced my car himself and gave me an excellent price. I’ve been to 4 auto body shops in North County throughout the last 8 years. This is by far the best. This will be my only auto body shop moving forward. Highly recommend this business.

Extremely professional, from front desk, to the detailer. They handled everything, from talking to my insurance company (USAA), to the rental agency. My car looked better than new. The detailer cleaned my car from top to bottom and even vacuumed my cars logo into the carpeting. I would have easily paid $100 just for that service.

I took my 84 year old mothers car here to get a estimate and spoke to Alijandro. He was very friendly. We made a agreement on price since she was paying out of pocket. When I got the estimate I told him to repair all the damage to the vehicle.After 2 weeks having the car they returned it to my mothers home. When she went to look at it she found that damage to the left front bumper was not repaired. Also, all the contents of the trunk were not in the trunk.It took several phone calls to get this corrected. In the end, I will say they did the right thing. They came and picked the car up. Repaired the front bumper for no additional charge. Returned the contents of the trunk. Then delivered the car back to her. We are pleased with the quality of the work and going the extra mile to take the vehicle back and forth to her home. I would have give 5 stars if the above concerns did not occur. We are satisfied completely now.

Good work and in a timely manner, but they threw away my hov stickers. This is not professional. Be aware and make sure to tell them multiple times to at least give it back. I was told that by two employees and still they were thrown out.

Have used these guys a couple of times for estimates, one was so minor I never had the work done and the other was a total loss. So they’ve never actually done body work for me. But based on the professionalism of Tim and Rachel in handling the estimates, and the strong recommendation of my insurance company, I would choose them in a heartbeat. 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 4Matic: Absolutely stellar service!I cannot begin to express my thanks and gratitude to the entire staff of both technicians and customer service for the incredible job they completed with our vehicle. It is literally, and I mean LITERALLY, better than when we originally got it from the dealer.This repair was an insurance claim, and the entire front end was sprayed with gravel, pitted, scratched and damaged down to the metal of the car plus a broken windshield and when I tell you that the car now is perfect, it is in showroom condition. There’s not a mark on it! It is unbelievable! I mentioned to Alex R. at The beginning of this process that the vehicle is a lease, and it was originally a birthday present for my partner and is extremely well kept both inside and out and under the hood. Alex took those comments to heart, and made sure that every single detail, every bezel, every piece of chrome, even hand polishing the headlights, turn signals, the flange around the grill… Every piece of rubber and plastic, is exquisite. There is no evidence of overspray there isn’t even the ‘paint smell’ lingering so commonly overlooked from body shop work. No evidence of any work having been done to the vehicle. This app only allows a 5-star review; they deserve 7! I’m leaving other reviews that only allow 10 stars, they should have 12! I cannot recommend them enough; we needed a rental car, they arranged it. We couldn’t bring the rental car back, he volunteered to take it back for us to the rental car agency. We couldn’t pick up the car on the day that it was done he volunteered to come in on Saturday to get it back to us. It’s above and beyond customer service, exceeding our every expectation. This is my second time using Autobody of Escondido. They have the BEST Customer Service and after they fix your car you cant tell there was an issue.They try to do there best to get your car back in a timely manner (but it depends on when the parts are available after ordering them).A pet peeve of mine is...not answering the phone when I need updates, but they DO! However, if theyre busy they will return your call/email within a day.Every person in the front office is friendly, professional and helpful. The auto manchanics do an amazing job fixing your car and they return your car washed and cleaned on the inside YAY!Thanks so much!

These guys are the best. I have a classic car a, 1977 Super Beetle convertible. After searching for three weeks, to find somebody to work on it. I called David at Auto Body of Escondido. He immediately said his shop could work on it. Well after having a few problems with my insurance and being hospitalized for several months. I finally went to pick up my bettle. The work was excellent. The damage to the inside of the front hood was straightened out, all the rust was removed, the fenders & the floor pan were all replaced. The paint job matched perfectly. If these guys weren’t in your insurance network you’d never go there! They destroyed my HOV stickers which were specifically mounted on vinyl wrap to make them super easy to remove or reposition. It’s like they went out of there way to remove them from the wrap destroying them and rendering them useless. They didn’t even attempt to put them back on because they can’t! They gave them to me back destroyed stuck to a plastic bag. Thanks! It took me six months to get those from the DMV and now I have to start over. The car wasn’t ready when promised, was unwashed and when I got it home realized they hadn’t put my door back together properly so had to drive all the way back and deal with them again. These guys pretend to know what they’re doing. Don’t believe it!

2024-06-19 03:50:31Auto Body of Escondido just recently completed some major repairs to my car due to a hit and run. It took awhile, but primarily due to the back and forth with State Farm. They handled State Farm expertly and kept me regularly appraised of the situation. I was working with Corbin and he was super responsive the entire time. And of course, the car looks great too!

The repairs, paint, and timeline were all above reproach with ABE.When we picked up our car, it was evident that they take pride in their craft. The car was spotless, they even took the time to detail the interior.I was so impressed that I asked them for another quote for my 4 Runner for some paint corrections... They took me in the next day and even picked up the car at my house. During the process Alana kept me always updated about the progress and after just 12 days I was able to pick up my car on the day as originally promised. The result was stunning. My BMW looks as good as it was when it was new, it was meticulously detailed and the paint quality and color match are incredible! The whole team is very professional and polite in their customer service for their customers. I hope I dont have to be back any time soon for a paint job but I will be back any time a job has to be done on one of our cars! 2024-03-04 23:11:50Took my Lexus to be repaired. I was met and immediately waited on. They called Enterprise and had a car sent over for me. It did take a little longer to get my car, but that was due to more damage found and had to have insurance approved and parts ordered. I found everyone I dealt with was professional and a pleasure to work with. Most of all, my Lexus looked beautiful again. I would recommend Escondido Auto Body to anyone that needs repair to their car. Thank you so much.

2024-03-13 23:56:05Everyone was very friendly and eager to answer any questions. The work done was a bumper repair. It looked brand new when they gave me back the car. This kind of work takes time. With a little patience, the experience is quiet good.
