For many years, I used to buy cars at dealerships. It was always a waste of a tremendous amount of time and nerves, and the result wasnt always satisfactory financially. This time, I decided to try the service provided by Authority Auto after seeing their high rating on Yelp and the enthusiastic and grateful reviews from their customers. And I wasnt wrong! Marvin helped me find the car I wanted and handled all the negotiations with the dealership, securing a $2,100 discount. I am located in Montana and was in the market for a very specific Lexus GX460. I was lucky enough to stumble across Authority Autos inventory and had the pleasure of working directly with Matt. I am very particular and thorough; Matt answered all of my questions quickly and I always had a direct line to him. He answered or responded to all of my calls and made the process feel not just easy, but fun. Instead of being overwhelmed by dealers and salesman I was dealing with a professional automotive industry veteran. I had all the videos and documentation I needed to make a decision over night. Matt promptly arranged the sale and had the vehicle delivered to my doorstep in less than one week. All of the documents needed to register the vehicle were in hand within 48 hours. A friend was just venting about how hard the car buying process is and I shared that I understood, but couldn’t personally relate. I used Authority Auto during my last purchase and their services relieved every pain point in finding, negotiating and buying my SUV. Their decades of experience in the industry, high touch support, and listening to all I was looking for amounted to the easiest car buying process I could ask for—especially impressive given buying in the height of the car shortage. This is the second time Ive used Authority Auto for purchasing a new car, and they were great both times from start to finish. Oren is extremely on top of everything and makes the process super simple. The time saved from not having to deal with dealership is reason enough to use them, but theyre also able to save you money as well which makes it a no-brainer. Would absolutely recommend Authority Auto and will continue to use them for all our new car purchases.

I had the pleasure of working with Matt here at Authority Auto with my auto purchase. I had been in the market for 2020 Model S here in Texas, and was fortunate to come across a vehicle that matched my exact specifications, however it was at Authority Auto in California. Although i was initially concerned about purchasing a used vehicle across country that I had not seen in person, all my concerns and questions were promptly answered and Matt helped me ultimately feel confident in my decision to purchase with them. All in the all, the process took 1 week including delivery of the vehicle and I could not be happier with the entire process! If you’re looking for a new car, do yourself a favor and call Authority Auto and ask for Matt. I promise you won’t regret it!! We just bought a Honda Odyssey Elite through Authority Auto and I can not say enough good things about Matt. Buying a car in another state seemed like a scary process but he made it feel effortless! I asked the Internet Lords is a car broker worth it? And the response led me to Authority Auto.My criteria was simple. V6s. Mustang. Corvette, or Charger. Black, dark grey, or silver. No flashy colors! Its not my style.By the end, my emails proclaimed, No V6s! Focus only on finding me a Challenger! Nothing else matters. Oh! and look at this gorgeous red model!Henry Alvarez of AA took good care of me. And even though I kept changing my parameters, and adding new cars to his research list, he kept pace and got things done on the schedule originally promised.Henry got the dealership to drop a thousand dollars off the price on their Auto Trader listing. Another enthusiastic Authority Auto client. You don’t have to be a gear head looking for your dream car to work with them - heck, trying to get a reasonably priced minivan these days can be a struggle. We worked with them to buy a new car and sell our old one when our car shopping process went from “soon” to “we need one yesterday.” Marvin came through and got us a new(!) Audi S4 under MSRP(!!), and Matt helped us arrange purchase (including transportation) for the well-loved older car it was replacing. The car market is wild these days, and having Authority Auto in our court made it as painless as possible. Car shopping takes money and time - usually more of both than you wanted to spend - but Authority Auto helped us save both.

Contacted, they had to schedule a phone call number of days out, rescheduled it after the scheduled time to another day. Then during our call where shes explaining the service, lady didnt send me an email containing information discussed like she said she would.That being said, I wasnt sure if the service made sense in terms of how much margin was on the table for the specific make/model Im looking at but the followup was weak.

Worth every dollar. I can’t say enough about Chris and Authority Auto. This my 5th Time using their service. I tested the waters with Costco’s Auto buying service. Hands down Chris crushed the Costco deal. He saved me $4K on a 36 month lease and for my trade in, he got me $4k more than the other Toyota dealership offered. That right $8,000! If that wasn’t enough, he got me two trim levels higher than the other dealer’s shameful offer.Chris’s insight with auto industry is outstanding. He found the exact SUV, color and options I wanted. Which was some task given the inventory shortage due to COVID-19 and end of year for 2020 models. On the day I got my car, Chris called me to assure me he was available in case I needed him. At the dealership, all the paperwork was mostly completed. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. There was no pressure in buying anything extra. You can’t put a price on the ease and peace of mind Authority Auto provides.Unless you are related to a sales manager or GM, I highly doubt you will ever be able to better than Authority Auto. Without any hesitation I highly recommend Chris and Authority Auto.

Working with Authority Auto was a genuinely wonderful process all around. I worked with Henry Alvarez and he couldnt have been better. He was efficient, thorough, available and above all very friendly. Its important to work with someone you trust and that is truly authentic when purchasing a car, because we all know that it can sometimes be superficial and the car selling world can try to take advantage of you.Henry was very fast with his help when I needed a car as soon as possible. He gave me all the options I could ask for and negotiated prices. In the end we decided on a new car together and I trusted his expertise and opinion the whole way through. I highly recommend Authority Auto for new car leases and purchases. I first worked with Oren in 2014 to purchase my first car in LA. He worked closely with me to get me EXACTLY what I wanted: make, color, mileage, year, and terms. He even negotiated an amazing loan with extremely low interest and got a 6-year warranty on a 3 year old car. I would never have been able to negotiate the deal he got us! He also got 75% more for our trade-in than was originally quoted to me on my own. All I had to do was complete a brief call with him and he handled the rest! I recently went back to him to find us a new car lease. He again, exceeded expectations and got us exactly what we wanted for an amazing deal. The whole process from first call to car-in-hand took only a few days. We will never buy a car any other way!

We located a used vehicle but were unable to get the dealership to negotiate at all so we contacted Authority Auto to inquire about their Free Deal Review service and were connected with Henry. I contacted Richard because I had to buy a new Honda for my mother in law within 10 days. He was uncertain if he could pull it off, given how busy he was and the rarity of the color she insisted on. But he took the challenge and found us a car in just 3 days at a good price. He negotiated adding leather seats and even got the dealership to drive the car over to us for all the paperwork, then back to the dealership for the leather, then back to us for final delivery. This was definitely the easiest new car buying experience I have ever had!

I have used Authority Auto several times now and I swear it seems to be getting easier and better each time! I traded in my old lease and got the same car but new model for less money per month and a lower residual for a brand new model. Oren and Henry are terrific and will cater to your every specification. What a great company! My family had the fortunate situation of needing 4 new leases AND turning in 5 old (4 of them were real beaters) cars. Kim Haavet was our contact for the whole process. I cant imagine having to do this without Kim! I only set foot in a dealer to test drive some models. Kim found us all of our new vehicles, in our colors, negotiated the lease contracts and delivered all 4 cars straight to our door! Kim was there for us every step of the way, we were able to contact him with questions day or night. On the rare occasion he didnt pick up the phone - he called back right away. Kim also arranged for the 5 cars we were turning in to be picked up. We literally never had to leave the house! Our whole experience was completed within 2 weeks from our first call! Authority Auto is an amazing service and well worth it if you are tired of the dealers taking up your valuable time. I had Nathan help get a Honda HRV for my wife and he was able to get her a great deal on not just the car but also a protection for the car!He had the dealership pull up both colors she was interested in and had them cleaned the night before so when we got to the dealer all she had to do was choose and then they typed up the paperwork and we were on our way. Hands down the easiest car buying experience we have ever had.Authority Auto saved my wife and I a lot of time and hassle. Richard helped me find an amazing deal on an upgrade (a much nicer car than I was originally looking at) for around the same price I was looking to pay on the lower make/model that was not available.Authority Auto can do the full-service vehicle lease/purchase and drop the car off at your home or place of business, which is what I did, or they can help you negotiate the price on a vehicle youre already discussing to make sure you get the best deal.Ive recommended Richard to several friends and family members already, and will definitely use him again next time Im in the market for a vehicle!

I used Authority Auto about 5 years ago to buy a new car. At the time the vehicle was in demand and I had no time to chase it around. Plus, I wanted a great deal. I called up Kim and he immediately started looking for the exact car I wanted. In a couple days, it was ready to pickup. Price was under invoice and all the docs were ready to go at the dealer with zero hassle. Worth it!Fast forward to last week. I’m in a dealer working on getting another new car. I have a great price but the financing is way too high. I just picked up the phone and direct dialed Kim (after 5 years!). He picks up, then shops my deal around to his network. Calls me back and says I have a ridiculously good price. Recommends that I do the deal and then gives me all the ways I can work around the financing for my situation - which was 100% accurate. And this help was FREE!These guys are honest and trying to get great deals for people. Maybe it’s not for everyone, but maybe it is. Walking out of a dealership with exactly what you want and knowing you are saving thousands is a pretty good feeling.

My client service manager was Chris Knutson and the experience was nothing short of amazing!I called them on Thursday of last week and after our conversation and letting them know what I was looking for, within an hour, I received a follow up email to confirm all the details I was looking for in the new car. I kid you not - the next day, Chris had found my new vehicle (a lease for a BMW X1) as well as sold my old car (BMW 328). I used their Car Concierge service and it was a total waste of good money! It took months to find the car I wanted. Now, there are logistics and car chip issues that came into play. I paid $200 to start the process, I had to literally always had to email or text the Authority Auto Customer Service Mgr. for updates. They didnt even have the professionalism to keep me updated on the car search. I finally got feed up and found my own lease deal but they still charged me $1,200.00. Save you MONEY and find your own car!! SMH

Look no further folks - you have found the best people to negotiate your best deal!I was going to use TruCar through my American Express benefits and was negotiating the car I wanted between two dealerships. I felt like was getting the run around and came across a post from American Express on Facebook about what a great deal using their service would be. I started reading through the comments and came across some sound advice from Authority Autos CEO Oren. I inquired via email with his company that night about their services. I discussed with both Angela and Oren the next day about what I wanted and had negotiated - they went to work for me and they did not disappoint whatsoever! Not only did they give me options on the high end range other than the specific car I wanted, but even went over and above to find me a the model of car that fit best into my budget. Typically they are closed on weekends, but we started this deal on Friday and they kept it moving over the weekend. They had my delivery set up for Tuesday morning, the driver arrived right on time with my new car and went through the car with me in detail showing me all the details and signing the paperwork was seamless. I never stepped foot in the dealership and they found the specific color vehicle I wanted within such a tight time frame! Kudos to you Angela & Oren - I dont see why anyone would buy/lease a car any other way!

Authority Auto saved our sanity and got us a great deal on a great car!Wed needed a new car for quite a while. Wed been putting it off because the thought of going to a dealership to negotiate for a car made us apprehensive. Still, after several weeks of research for the type of car we wanted, we went out one Saturday to a local dealership. A total disaster! We were hoodwinked by the salesperson, after I made an offer of what I wanted to pay -- all in -- for the car I just test drove. They had no vehicles onsite - all were in transit. We put a $500 deposit down (which they mistakenly charged us twice for -- $1000), and our copy of the paperwork/agreement was nearly blank - no VIN, no info on the sticker of the car -- nothing to verify that we had deposited on a specific vehicle. We cancelled everything and left with no car.I continued to research other dealerships and in the process, found a link to Authority Auto. I emailed and was called very soon after by Angela. She explained the service to me, including the fees, over the phone and promptly followed up with an email detailing the exact points she reviewed with me over the phone. Everything was very clear and professional. So, because of our previous experience at the above dealership and some other personal issues that had arisen, we decided that using Authority Auto to research and purchase our car was the best way to go. And it was. Angela was diligent in her research of a vehicle for us, found what we were looking for, negotiated a great deal on the car and handled nearly all of the details in a timely and a professional manner. It wasnt entirely stress-free, but far less stress and work, I truly believe, than shopping for/buying a car on our own. There were a few snafus regarding car availability and insurance and I think that some better communication/information given to us would have been helpful. Overall, however, it was a very good experience for us, the fee was reasonable for the work that went into getting us our car, and we are very happy with our new 2019 Subaru Crosstrek! When went to them with an exact specification of a 2016 Escalade we were trying to get before the new year to take advantage of 2017s being on the market and some great 0% APR financing on the 2016s that expired Jan 3.My neighbor has used them to get 4 cars, so I figured it was worth a try.On Monday I had a call with Oren and Kim, his general manager, so they could understand what I was looking for and the details behind my trade-in. On Wednesday I had an offer for the exact model I was looking for which was nearly 10% before MSRP and a solid value on my trade-in. The car was delivered and we got an addition $700 gift card via a manufacturer program that we didnt even know about.The original dealer balked at getting us the vehicle before Christmas, but they had no trouble finding another dealer that matched the price (and even had upgraded wheels to the original vehicle) and had the car here on Friday.Lets face it folks, the only fun part of getting a new car is test driving and the new car feature tour when you get it delivered. The rest of it is tiring, frustrating, and leaves you wondering if you really got the best deal. Rather than go through all that, just call Oren and Kim and focus on your life while the details get worked out.These guys truly provide a white glove, highly communicative service that I highly recommend. Authority Auto came recommended to me by a friend, who had bought 4 cars through them. I was on the fence about trying it, since I am a decent negotiator and dont get that stressed about buying cars, but in the end I decided to give it a go just to save myself some time and energy. I was searching for a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0i Premium with moonroof. I worked with Nathan Artiles, who was very personable, friendly, and polite. It took him about 5 days from our initial contact to find a car that had all the correct features (and not too many extra features) was in the right price range. The final cost was $27,415 not including taxes and DMV fees. Nathan told me that this particular car is currently in high demand and so he was not able to negotiate quite as low as we had hoped (I had my fingers crossed for around $26k) but I dont think this was his fault. There is a chance I could have negotiated a similar price myself, but honestly for $800 it was well worth it to have him shop around and do all the communication on my behalf. The car was delivered to me at my home one week after I agreed to buy it. The dealer brought the paperwork with him and I filled it out in 5 minutes. Nathan also helped me sell my totaled used car for a fee of $300. I was very happy with that aspect of the experience because selling a used car to private buyers or to a junkyard is a pain in the butt. Nathan was able to get me $2000 for the old car and the buyer came and picked it up from my home. My only complaint is that on a couple occasions I felt like I had to reach out to Nathan for an update on how things were going, but on other occasions he was very proactive, and no matter what he always responded to me quickly. Overall, I was really pleased with the service and would use it again!

I read about Authority Auto in a forum and saw a lot of 5 star reviews, so I figured I would give them a try. I actually called on Thanksgiving Day figuring I would leave a message and they would call back on Black Friday, but Oren took the call and explained the program and I agreed to sign up.The next day Nathan was assigned to my deal and took a deposit over the phone. I explained the car my Wife was looking for (2017 Chevy Volt LT base model) and that I needed to do the deal by the end of the year to qualify for the $7500.00 Federal tax credit. I told him we just wanted a base model in White, or Silver.My wife wanted to test drive one and look at a few so we started on the far side of the Phoenix valley from where we live (Apache Junction) and stopped at 6 different dealerships. The first Dealer gave her a test drive and wanted to give a quote on her immaculate 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid with 158,000 miles and was only offered $1000.00 which she took as an insult. We left and stopped at the other dealers “Just Looking”. None of the dealers had base models, or very good choices on interior & exterior colors and options until we got to the last one which was closest to home…LOL.They only had a couple, but the one that was actually in the showroom checked all the boxes for my wife even though it was a color she had not known about (Satin Steel Metallic), it also had upgraded leather interior (comfort pkg) and a driver confidence pkg that had desirable safety features that she decided would be ok. We told the car Salesman that my “Business Manager” would be in touch shortly.I called Nathan and told him I wanted him to deal on this particular car before someone else did. I also let him know that we are Costco members and hoped they could deal down from that programs offering and get us the $700.00 Costco gift card to boot. I also agreed to pay extra for them get us a better deal on our trade in car which Authority Auto treats as a separate deal.Nathan & Oren worked late and called us at home that night with a deal that we were really happy with especially on the trade. We agreed to the terms and went to the dealership in the morning, signed the paperwork, said no to all the other stuff they wanted us to buy and left with a new car and NO STRESS!Throughout this process you could say we were fairly wishy washy about what we wanted, but Nathan & Oren simply rolled with the punches and were always pleasant to deal with. We probably made the process a little easier for them by going out and actually stumbling onto the car we wanted, but I am sure they were doing their research and would have presented it to us in short order.I used to enjoy the process of finding and negotiating for a car, but as I have aged it has become an ordeal that I do not look forward to. Authority Auto will be my go to in the future and I can’t recommend them enough, not to mention all the 5 star reviews that speak volumes about the type of business they run! Thanks guys!

I was referred to Kim from my neighbor. After seeing my neighbor go through 4 cars and hearing the deals he got on each one of them, I knew Id be calling Kim when it was time for a new car for my wife.She knew she wanted to check out a Lexus sedan, and I heard great things about the Kia Optima. He aslo recommended the Inifiniti Q50. After test driving the cars at a local dealer we decided on the Lexus.Within a week he came to us with a deal on exactly what we wanted and the car showed up at my house just a few days later.The whole experience was so easy and saved us a lot of time and nightmares dealing with all the tricks the local dealers play.In all honesty I did not bother checking out any other prices or offers since I had seen what Kim did for my neighbor. His service and professionalism right away kept me from even considering pricing the deal out with anyone else. With that said, I got a loaded ES 350 for 1,000 down and 414 a month. It sounds like a smoking deal to me!I will always go to Kim for my new cars in the future.

A Total waste of my $900 for Full Review service.The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee delivered from Austin dealer Nyle Maxwell was full of rock chips all over the front bumper and dent on the hood. Driver side Leather seats was worn and 2 punctures on the passenger side seats. My negotiator failed to even ask and verify the condition of the New car. None of the damages was never disclosed to me. Totally Disappointed and no assurances. She never sent an photos of the car for review. Authority Auto gives the image to be an advocate for you during the car purchase, however I never felt at all that they had my back and showed no enthusiam to the deal. I attempted to return the 2018 for 2019 because of the damages, but dealer refuse to exhange. The car final price was even close to the internet price and I do not see any value in this service. Total waste of money.Do not use this service. Not 1 Time did the owner even call to follow up to check during the transaction.Not One time did my negotiator offer practical advice to 1) Verify the condition of the New car. 2) Do Not Sign until you do this... 3) Suggest to even Inspect the Car.

Kim Haavet has been FANTASTIC!!! Back in 2014 he enabled me to get a new 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-class sedan for LESS than invoice price. Recently, I was all set to buy a 1993 Porsche through him. He got the dealer to come down $5,000; but, then he strongly advised me to have the vehicle more thoroughly inspected. Kim saved me from DISASTER!! The car was found to have a lot of severe problems that would have cost me a fortune and a lot of time and frustration. Kim at Authority Auto was absolutely awesome in helping me get my new car. On my first conversation with him, he walked me through the pros/cons of leasing vs buying. It made sense for me to lease, which I probably would not have done had I not talked to him. The information he gives in unbiased, because you pay a flat fee whether you lease or buy, no matter what car you get. So right away, I was impressed.A few weeks later, after test driving a bunch of cars, I got back to him with the car I wanted. He got back to me with the deal on the car, and I asked him if I could switch cars. He said sure. I thought I might have to pay an extra fee, but he was very gracious about it, and said it was all part of the service, that he wanted me to be happy. So off he went to negotiate the second car option. He got back to me later that same day with a deal that was, as he put it, very near the bottom of the market for that car. From my research, I could tell he was right, it was a fantastic deal. So now I had the choice between two great deals. I chose the second car, and the next day I it was in my driveway.When I needed to get the car before leaving on a trip, he pushed it and made it happen, conferencing with the dealer salesperson while I was on the phone. He told me he was on call for me the day I got the car, and when I had a question about a pre-paid maintenance program the finance person at the dealer recommended, he answered my call in real time and walked me through it (declined it! saved me even more money.) Before I went in to the dealer to pick up the car, he set me up with a lease wear and tear policy so I wouldnt have to buy the overpriced one at the dealer. When signing, it was very comforting to be able to say no to all the extraswith confidence.Awesome service and I will be using it again when we replace my wifes car next year.

I was excited to use Authority Auto after all the good things I heard. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of time and money.We discussed my timeline and needs, and they assured me it would be no problem. I ended up working with them for about a month before I had to buy a vehicle on my own.We werent looking for anything unusual, so I dont know what they did during all that time. In all, they found one vehicle several weeks after retaining them (which we test drove but didnt buy), and another that may have had a deposit put on it that we never saw. I assume that they looked at and ruled out other vehicles, but I have no idea how many since they wouldnt tell me what they already considered.I asked them--multiple times--whether they were having trouble finding what we wanted, and whether there was anything I could do to speed things up. They never answered those questions. I offered to broaden the search parameters, but I think it just ended up bogging them down further.I dont know if I got unlucky, or if they have trouble working with dealers in Texas, or if something else happened. In any case, they took my money and delivered nothing--with no explanation. I cannot recommend them to anybody.

I called them 3x. 3x they told me they will comeback to me with an expert that deals with non us citizen but resident of US and works here with stable job. I dont even know what they mean by it. 3x they asked for my phone# and my email. Nobody came back to me. I tried to register and inquire in their website. Same thing website told me that they will come back to me, automated email also told they will come back to me. I have not heard from them in months.
