Please make sure you have a reservation if going during dinner hours . It has limited seating, and wait times can be long .The food - the quality is unmatched . The naans were fluffy and tasty but everything else we tried was just ok. Nice ambience and location. The pomelo drink was very bitter(although we love grape fruit), would not recommend it. Other dishes we had were interesting especially the names :)

Absolutely loved the food here, it was delicious. you cannot skip this place. for starters, we got the pesto paneer and the dahi kebab. the latter was absolutely flavorful and super crispy. we also got the maggi appetizer which was interesting. for the mains we got the im not pasta, the dish that apparently beat bobby flay. unique take on palak paneer but still really flavorful - you know it was just crafted well. we also got the revive which seemed like a regular paneer curry but still tasted great. we also got a garlic naan, mushroom naan, and lacchha paratha - cant go wrong with any you pick. For desert i wish we got to try all of them, however we ended up going for the toffee pudding and the gulab jamun tiramisu. I liked the gulab jamun tiramisu a lot. I think the toffee pudding would have been better if served with a scoop of ice cream or something.Service was great as well, the chef came out to speak with us and shared his stories and it was a great time overall. will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

Worth visiting once to this Michelin guide Indian Reasturant. The food tasted amazing the presentation was good.Highly recommend the lamb chops and mushroom butter chicken the gravy was well balanced with all the spices and creaminess.Disappointed with the biryani a bit definitely not a dish you want to order hereThe ambience could have been better especially the table size overall it’s treat for your taste buds

This is a cute little spot in los Altos downtown. We had a late weekday lunch reservation and were the only ones in the restaurant. The place is not very big but is spaced out and has a modern feel.They have a lunch special for weekdays but we decided to order a la carte to try a few different varieties.The smokey jhalmuri is simply phenomenal - mind you this is on the spicy side but is cooked to perfection and the flavors were oozing!!! The cozy Maggie was also good and had a different flavor to it compared to how we are usually used to Maggie.For the main course, we got garlic naan and the apricot parsnip kofta sabji. Both these options were very well made and the kofta was super delicious.Would highly recommend this place as a vegetarian where you could feel the difference in quality and experimental fusion style.

Aurum provides a fine dining experience for Indian food. There are various options for vegetarians and they have daily specials which are worth checking out. Their gulaab jaamun tiramisu and haryali paneer tikka were great. Service is quick and ambience was good. Only downside was that there was a strong fish smell. Overall a good restaurant for a special day.

Visited on 31st 2023 for dinner. Nice modern twist to Indian food, tastes amazing had good options for New Year’s Eve . The only annoying thing is the place is too cramped, tables are too small for 4 avg. size people and guest management has to be better for such a fine dining place. Our reservation was for 8:30 but didn’t get place till 8:50 also the host is not too welcoming, just checking for the table gets him annoyed 😡

We come here often as a couple as well as with full family. The food is fantastic - they offer both classics and fusion. The flavors are complex and perfect. Fusion can sometimes miss the make but I have always enjoyed Indian fusion her.The staff and ambiance is lovely. Keep up the great work!

I visited Aurum last week for lunch for the first time. This hidden gem is quite a place for those who love Indian food, and I must say that I am very impressed. I ordered from the 3 course lunch menu. The portions were just right and did not felt overwhelming and so was the price.Visually, the food looked amazing and it tasted wonderful. the spices were added just right and did not overpowered the inherent taste of main ingredients. The dessets too had just the right sweetness. I highly recommend this place and I will be visiting it soon again as well.

I’m torn, I really wanted to like this place as it’s the only Indian place near my house. The food tasted great and they have a creative menu. But, there is a big but.. for a restaurant that is so high end, I wouldn’t expect the food to be so greasy. There was so much oil floating in all their curries. For $26 for a small bowl of curry, you’d expect them to do better. I had to scoop out the oil before I could dig in.The naan sizes are tiny, so you’ll need to order more than your regular fare.

Summary, good food, not so good service, noisy ambiance. Expensive considering the experience provided.Seasonal appetisers were great (prawns), pepper chicken had whole peepers and partially crushed peppers which was not appetising.Entree apricot kofta was good, couldn’t really taste the apricot but the curry tasted good, biryani was decent. Desert was goodService team was sub par, from the check in, taking orders to providing right things at right time was slow or out of sync. When I requested for a bigger plate to eat biryani they said they don’t have one! Which is surprising considering all the price tags on the menu.

Great ambiance and good service but underwhelming flavors.We went to Aurum for dinner on a weekday to celebrate a special occasion. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated immediately after we got there. We liked the ambience of the place and the staff were friendly. Coming to the food, they had unique dish names and good presentation. We liked I Am Not Pasta (Spinach paneer lasagna), and Ghevar. Mr Potato(Potato spiral chat) was okay and a bit bland. Apricot Kofta and Spinach and Goat Cheese Kulcha were disappointing.

I enjoyed lunch at Aurum with a friend and was not disappointed. The service was great and all staff were very attentive and friendly, even the chef came out to deliver one of our courses! We had the brown garlic chicken, mango prawns and cauliflower to start, and the lamb and eggplant as our mains, all of which were great. You have to get the toffee pudding for dessert - so delicious! I will definitely be going back soon with my husband for dinner. Aurum is a must try in Los Altos.

We had a table inside and vibe was nice & cozy. The staff were hospitable & attentive. We got to try some plant based fusion foods like crispy tamarind cauliflower, apricot kofta, spinach paneer lasagna, pesto olive naan. The food was delicious. They also had some delectable cocktails. We loved their Tango in goa, Cursed moon.It is worth trying if you are a fan of Indian food. Highly recommend.

I had forgotten how good Aurum is. Went with a group of 6 friends and we all really enjoyed our food. Some of the dishes like the fish and eggplant were quite spicy. I love that, but make sure you ask if you are sensitive to hot food. Service was excellent as well. Very friendly and fast.

Really good food! Not oily or spicy! Just right in terms of flavor and portion size!The place is itself small so be prepared to hear the chatter from all sides.Servers were polite and the experience was pleasant.We had ordered jhalmuri, dal makhni, kofta, roti, veg biryani (not on menu but is available if asked for) and ghevar. Except ghevar, everything else tasted great. I would not recommend to get ghevar, it had a lot of light flavored cream but the main thing, that’s the ghevar, was completely flavorless. The ghevar seemed like fried batter which was not even sweet. Still, highly recommend this place for special occasions. It’s also very expensive.

We were here for a family dinner on a Memorial day evening. This is our first time here. The service is good, we loved the appetizers mainly and different types of naan. We ordered cocktails along with the main course dinner. We were so full that we skipped dessert, maybe next time. Im adding the menu and the pictures of the food that we ordered. Great ambience and one of the few Indian fine dining places in Bay Area. We ordered both veg and non veg items and were very happy with veg. Non veg items were chicken curry, chicken biryani and chicken pepper fry, which were all good but with not enough salt. But tasty nevertheless. In veg, we ordered cauliflower Manchurian (starter), Mr potato(slightly over roasted. Not sure if that’s expected), paneer tikka, brinjal fry, okra fry and cauliflower/mushroom gravy (this was yum).Special mention to the olive and thyme naan.Would come again and try the rest!I would give their mocktails a miss. Not worth the taste.

The food here is excellent. I loved everything that I had. Only thing is I would have preferred more veggie options.One tip is Fennel Okra was nice as a starter and as a side for rotis.Mr.Potato was so great. 🔥Paneer lasagna is just mind blowing 🤯 way to eat palak paneer.The kofta (tasted like modified chese balls) was just melting inside with goey goodness 😍.The icing on the cake was the prices and quantities. You would expect this place to price their items a lot for lot less quantities but I actually felt full after my dinner here (unlike other fancy restaurants where you are left wanting to eat more with a considerably lighter pocket).P.S. @aurum owners, please just add more menu items and have better cocktails and you will be unbeatable!

We went to have dinner here with family and friends on a weekend. The location of the restaurant is right in the middle of the Los Altos downtown. The restaurant was less crowded because of the nearby music and wine festival going on the same weekend. The hotel manager had mentioned about this festival beforehand in order to make us aware of the possible shortages in parking nearby. We had the fried cauliflower, potato spiral chaat, smoky bhel. For mains we had the bhindi, apricot kofta along with the cauliflower mushroom vindaloo. The portion size was appropriate and was brought to us promptly as well. The cauliflower was fried really well and the dipping sauce was really good. The bhel had a nice hint of the smokiness and presented and mixed table side by our host. The mains were average tasting except for the apricot kofta which had a really nice gravy. However the kofta itself was a bit of a let down. Overall the experience was good.

We had been here for the Mothers days special lunch and I have to say it was surprisingly good. I am not exaggerating when I say, every dish was made to perfection! Special mention for the lotus root pepper salt, spiced coconut chicken 🤌 and the apple jalebi with rabdi foam. I would definitely try it again on a non-special day although its a little on the pricier side.The restaurant ambience itself couldve been better for the price they charge. The baby seating they gave had a broken belt and was not cleaned properly. Overall good.

My wife and I have visited all Michelin rated Indian restaurants in the CA Bay Area and the NYC metro region. Of all these Michelin starred Indian restaurants in CA Bay Area, we feel that this is the best Indian food place. We both are vegetarians and we had plenty of options to choose from, so many that we are already planning to go back and try the ones we did not order. Non-vegetarian options were equally bountiful. It’s refreshing to see that they were able to maintain the amazing flavors in these dishes in their efforts to make them more creative. They managed to uplift the taste of seemingly easy recipes so they taste even better. I’d rate them 5/5 for their saffron and pistachio infused Ghewar and whipped cream alone!

I am always very keen to try restaurants featured in Michelin guidebook and aurum gave me a dissatisfied experience. Booked reservation at 7.45pm and they made us wait for 20 min in cold wind . Not great startWe ordered chicken kebab and to my surprise it was chicken roasted in tandoor oven . It was served cold . I had to send the dish back . One issue is serving the dish cold and the other is calling it a kebab .Halibut fish curry was 4/10 with evident taste of roasted coriander and fish not so flavorful.Chocolate rasmalai is ok .Ambience was very dark and loud chatters .Overall verdict : super over priced (over $100 for 2), bad taste and deceiving .just because its in Michelin guide doesnt mean you can fool customers who are aware of authentic flavors and also charge as much as you wish .This restaurant needs more work to be done to earn this reward . Would not visit again .

Decided to dine here for a special celebration. Menu is very interesting. It is a bit on the blander side on the flavor palette. Loved the appetizers. However, the Dessert was the Star item! Never seen Ghevar on a menu ever and it was awesome enough to warrant seconds! Will go back to try a couple other items on the menu that looked interesting. Inside is beautiful but we sat outside so cannot comment on the ambiance. Service was average could have been better.

Decent Indian food with western fusion. Unlike traditional Indian food, the dishes had less spices and heat. The ambience was good to hangout with friends, colleagues or for a date and the food was plated beautifully. But taste wise there wasn’t a dish that stood out as exceptional.I liked the olive and thyme naan and butter chicken. Fennel okra, spinach lasagna and chocolate rasmalai were okay. I didn’t like the artichoke chaat as I felt the artichoke flavor was lost among the spices and flour.

Here, the food takes you on a vacation, a vacation from where you wouldn’t WANT to return. The aroma of ‘Didi’ or the kosha mangsho had the power to save me! And that foam on the ghevar was the crescendo the meal came to! The toffee pudding was better than anything I have tasted in London. Service was quick. I just have a lower opinion about the space, it was a bit cramped. This place should be lavishly recommended for the food it serves!

Food here is delicious. They are trying to elevate Indian food meanwhile preserving the taste that makes Indian food great. We ended up trying all of their desserts, if you are someone who has a sweet tooth, you’d have hard time deciding the desserts cause everything is so delicious. Food was fantastic and the experience was unique, everything came out fresh, hot and in a timely manner. Curried lobster was spicy and delicious. The toffee pudding was warm and tasty, it was really good, a highlight for me. The outdoor seating atmosphere is great, perfect temperature for dinner in the late afternoon.Food is a bit expensive, some unique things you can only get here make it worth coming for. The drinks are underwhelming and some desserts were not very impressive.

Food was good and service was average. What put me off is the manager adding a pre-determined gratuity in the bill when it was presented to us (it was high for only two of us). Such sneaky tactics is not what I expect from a fine dining restaurant. Customers should be able to decide how much to tip and not get dictated by the establishment.

We had a wonderful time today at Aurum. Food was delightful - different yet authentically Indian. Calling it “fusion” would be disrespectful to the classy creations. Chef Manish Tyagi came and spoke to us - he’s very witty and a great conversationalist. He had us engrossed for like 10 minutes as he spoke to us about the stories behind his creations. It was fairly inexpensive for an upscale restaurant - which has a mention from Michelin. We had drinks, appetizers, main course and desserts. With 20% gratuity it came to just $55/person. And service was great too - no pretense by the waiter on the dishes and what we should order. On top of that, for a large group of 10, we got a semi private room that allowed us to be loud a d have fun without worrying about disturbing others. For a special occasion, this was a great evening - that was made possible by Aurum.PS: all the 3-star reviews listed by others are *probably* because the seating outside isn’t as upscale, with the iron table, chairs and all.

This place was listed at many places as a must visit Indian restaurant and it stood up to its name. The ambiance is rather ordinary but the food sure is extraordinary.The chicken kebab was soft and tender, really enjoyed it with the green chutney and the mayo. The mushroom main dish dum khumb was full of layers of flavors. Quite tasty and a must try item.The service was good as well. The restaurant is on the expensive side but I guess it is worth the money.

An excellent restaurant. Dont go there expecting the standard chicken tikka masala or tandoori chicken - this is not your usual, strip mall Indian restaurant. The place has a high-end, exclusive feel to it - it is a small place so would recommend reserving a table so you dont have to wait. Due to the name, you see a lot of gold accents in many places, the room, plates, cutlery, etc. Also, the menu seems to change every so often, the maitred told us the menu was changing the next day (7/15)Wine selection - it isnt very deep but was decent with selection from different parts of the world and Napa of course. That said, the champagne selections could use a review by the sommelier. We got the blancs de blanc but I was underwhelmed. Recommend replacing that with something else.For appetizers we got the Raj Kachori and grilled paneer. The kachori was excellent, the tamarind and mint chutney were excellent and elevated the dish to another level. The paneer I believe is custom made (I believe) was grilled to perfection with some the same tandoori spices. Crusty on the outside and soft inside. Well done.Entrees: we got the lamb, lobster and a mushroom dish. The lamb itself was well cooked (not overdone) but the sauce was divine, you dont often taste those sauces in the US. Looking at the menu right now, seems like this dish was taken out but Im sure the chef has created something equally divine! My fellow diner loved the mushroom dish was plated on a bed of yellow coconut, cooked to perfection. The lobster - unfortunately this fellow dinner is a super tough reviewer :) - she thought was decent but the lobster itself was average (not your Maine lobster or something special) and it was bit overcooked and the sauce was average - didnt seem to have the speciality sauces of the other 2 dishes.The breads - got the lachha paratha (off the menu now), goat cheese naan, garlic naan - all very good. I personally didnt like goat cheese naan but my fellow diners loved it.We didnt have room for dessert ... but since we were celebrating something they gave us a complementary sticky pudding. Was pretty good, very much appreciate their graciousness!Overall I think it is a great place, exclusive and brings in Indian spices/tastes that you most likely havent tasted in the US. Highly recommend.

This place is decent. The location is nice, tucked away in downtown Los Altos. Parking is available right across from the restaurant and in other areas in close proximity. The restaurant is very small inside but there is additional outdoor seating.For starters, we ordered the Fayro - Chipotle Paneer Kebab, Brassica Beets- Cauliflower Bezule, and Lemon Aid - Tandoori Sea Bass. The best item from that selection was the cauliflower. It was so tasty and it came with the delicious chili aioli. Highly recommend. The Paneer was also tasty. Perfectly cooked, creamy and spiced well. The sea bass comes in third. Not the best sea bass Ive had but they give you a nice size portion. All items are enough to share.For entrees we ordered the I’M NOT PASTA - Spinach & Paneer Lasagne, MANGA - Fish Alleppy, ROCKSTAR - Curried Lobster, and CHEF MANI-PULATED - Confit Butter Chicken. I personally ate the curried lobster which was great. Not delicious, just great. Its a whole lobster tail but not a large one, normal size lobster tail in a red regular curry sauce. Not spicy at all or a whole lot going on. It comes topped with Wakame (seaweed salad) which was a twist I havent seen before but paired very well. Everyone else seemed to like their dishes as well. The lasagne looked delicious. We paired all the meals with Roti and Garlic Naan which is enough to share with people at the table. Its about 4 pieces per order. Nothing special about those.For dessert we ordered the Tapioca Kheer and Chocolate Rasmalai. The Kheer I was not a fan of nor was anybody at the table. Bland tasting and not tasty. We did not have more than 2 bites of it. The Rasmalai on the other hand was super tasty. Delectable. I enjoyed every bite of that.

Best dahi ke kebabs in the whole country! Rarely any Indian restaurant serves them and they are even better than the ones in IndiaCrispy and spiral aloo chaat is very flavorful with ragda gravy.Apricot koftas are out of the world! While the food here wasn’t bad, our experience was not a pleasant one. We really wanted to like this place but it was royally mismanaged from the minute we entered the restaurant. The number one observation is that they have tried to fit as many tables as possible in a really really small space. We went in with a reservation and they tried to seat us outside. When we denied that due to how cold it was - they pointed us to a table smack in the middle of a crowded room. We immediately knew it was going to be annoying to have several people walk around us and stand over our heads. At the door there were servers, managers and guests trying to enter and exit all at the same time - which during COVID is anxiety inducing. Ambience was ruined because inside it was really loud and difficult to converse due to soooo many people in a small space. We also noticed during eating that the staff was running around rearranging the tables every now and then which just made it look highly mismanaged. Wow, just wow! The food was the best Indian-Western fusion Ive ever had. This is coming from someone who is a fan of traditional dishes, and quite skeptical of fusion food. Food Catering - WeddingWhen we first started planning our wedding, we knew the first thing we wanted was to have Chef Manish do the food for the reception dinner. Throughout the whole process, Chef Manish and his team were amazing. They communicated well, were very responsive, and gave amazing tips and ideas on what to serve and how to implement an efficient and effective timeline. Not only was the planning really smooth and easy, but the event itself was amazing. Everyone was impressed with the food, everyone had seconds and we were so grateful Chef Manish went beyond expectations to meet the needs of our family with allergies and dietary restrictions. I honestly wish I could give this team 10 stars or more. They truly made this event a once in a lifetime event.

A bit of a hit or miss on some dishes. The dishes are priced like its a fancier restaurant than how the food was. Even though the dishes have more fusion-like descriptions, they were fairly just... mediocre Indian. Dahi kebab was probably the better one amongst the very limited options for vegetarians. The staple daal and the bhindi dishes both were undercooked.

Aurum was nothing special for being a Michelin star restaurant.When we went in at the time of our reservation, they did not honour our reservation and asked us to wait.The waiter handed us the menus which were smeared with chatnis - like come on!We ordered Smokey jhalmuri which tasted like it was a store bought murmura with barely any chatni on it. There was a good Smokey flavour though.We also had potato twister and paneer marmalade tikka which was were so bland and flavourless and the paneer had no sear to it.We finally had the chocolate rasmalai which was alright - more like chocolate mousse with rasmalai.We got two drinks and they were terrible.Once we were handed the cheque, we paid and the waiter insisted on tipping, when he knew that we were clearly dissatisfied with our experience, which felt kinda pushy.Overpriced and underwhelming food.Wouldn’t come back here as it was nothing great. Been to better Indian restaurants in the Bay for sure.

I had a terrible experience at Aurum. I honestly want to give a negative star if I had the option. Firstly, they made me wait in the cold weather in-spite of making reservations one week in advance. The ambiance wasnt anywhere close to a Micheline-star restaurant that I have been to, it looked very cramped and coffee shops have larger tables than what we had for dinner at this place. The menu has chutney and food crumbs in them. You can atleast clean your menu before handing them over to your customers. We ordered drinks which were by far the worst we have had, they essentially had no taste that was mentioned on their menu. We ordered starters that were okay-ish and definitely overpriced. The paneer tikka had no searand it was almost like they smeared chutney on them. The ragada was so bland and tasteless. And finally, the waiter was very rude and asked me twice to tip him very well knowing that we were not happy with the food. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Earlier review:Sad to see this place going down. We have dined in here and ordered takeouts so many times in the past but our last two orders were so disappointing that I had to write this review. We had ordered the Saag Paneer Lasagne and Old Fashioned Chicken curry, both of which we have tried before. But this time the saag paneer barely had any gravy while the lasagne itself was very dry. The old fashioned chicken curry tasted horrible, stale and no salt.Updated 03/08: To celebrate Holi today we ordered a takeout from Aurum. Dahi ke Kebab and Paneer Pasanda from the Holi special menu and the chocolate rasmalai from their regular menu. Everything tasted great, so happy that Aurum is back!

This place is so delicious! This is my second visit of the year and the care that is put into both derive and food is heart warming. I am so grateful to have a wonderful place to dine where I feel safe having celiac disease. Once I told the owner, he made sure our server understood fryer cross contamination and double checked our order with us to make sure we were given the proper dishes that wouldn’t make us sick. Really wanted to love this place, and so excited to see it open in Los Altos. Unfortunately, the food was not as expected. Very little spice, almost bland in some cases. The butter chicken was exceptionally sweet, which was unexpected, and served on the bone in a large bowl of curry which made it difficult to eat. Succulent, well seasoned and rightly done. Between 4 of us, we were almost full with the appetizers so ordered mains family style, went ahead with paneer spinach lasagna, chicken biryani and allepey manga fish curry based on our servers recommendation and the dishes exceeded our expectations! Paneer was familiar as I had the same before at August One Five, it was more towards a tikka sauce base and went well with the naan. Biryani was aromatic and not dry at all, good sized portion with a side of raita. Fish curry had a nice sour mango base and I think fish was sea bass and not salmon or king fish - it was a nice spin on the traditional kerala curry. It could be even better with a ginger and curry leaf tempering but still a good dish for someone whos not familiar with the coastal cuisine. It would be nice for the mains to come with a portion of rice/bread. We ate till our hearts were full! Had no rooms for desserts but we still got chocolate rasmalai and toffee pudding. Dark chocolate balanced the sweetness and creaminess of rasmalai perfectly and the toffee pudding was slightly on the sweeter side because of the toffee caramel but it was a perfect combination with the banana cake. All in all it was a great dining experience and we look forward to coming back again for a special occassion. We regret canceling Aurum and going to Rooh last time as that turned out to be a total dissapointment. Aurum is a very close second to Ettan for a fine-dining indian food experience in the Bay Area when you dont want to go to the city.

We went for an anniversary dinner for my parents with a party of 5. Our experience with Aurum was underwhelming.There are a lot of things I didnt like about Aurum. The menu is very limited and they dont have good option for kids. The food sounds fancy but does not deliver on the taste. The cocktails were pretty so so. The portions were pretty small given the cost. The plates were too small to keep both curry and naan during main course. Now, for some specifics.We ordered a Khus and a Chaat masala cocktail and both of them were just okay. There was no strong flavor profile to make any of them stand out.The appetizers (paneer and sea bass) were good but main course was a downer. The Raga Kofta curry was nice but the kofta itself was mostly potato. The confit butter chicken was under seasoned and chicken didnt taste fresh.For desserts, we ordered Ghevar and it turned out to be a 1 cm small layer of Ghevar covered with loads of cream. If you are naming the dessert after an item, it should have a decent quantity of the item. Also, Ive had Ghevar in Rajasthan and this was not even close.The service is good and that is why I left 2 stars. However, there was a 20% gratuity added on the bill automatically without even mentioning it. I would have tipped anyways because of their nice service but I really didnt appreciate them sneaking it into the bill like that.

The restaurant has several areas that need to be worked on. With the kind of food they have and the pricing, one would expect a much better ambience or something that has a consistent theme. The seating, lighting and some of the interior is very shabby.Coming to the food, it is fusion Indian but some dishes lack the underlying authenticity of Indian food. The appetizers were good but the mains were disappointing. The kofta was bland, the lamb was not tender. The gravys were also bland and lacked flavor. I am not talking about them being spicy, I would expect them to have some flavor punch with Indian roots which was missing.The drinks we ordered were pretty average and could have been done much better. They lacked a balance in flavors and were meh.And lastly, everything is overpriced! This is heavily on the pocket considering the taste/quality of drinks and the food.I have been to other restaurants in the San Francisco area and they have done a better job with food and pricing. This is an absolute joke. Marketing can do wonders for a very sub-standard restaurant and below average food. They dont really have a bar yet the cocktails listed (made from a concentrate) are listed for $15. In the name of fusion food it is an absolute mockery of taste and presentation. You can taste raw turmeric in almost every main course meal (we ordered 5 of them).I dont think it compares to other Indian restaurants in the same price range. The main thing was the food which was disappointing.what we noticed is the appetizers came luke warm and the sever ( not so knowledgeable) told us this is how it’s served. Was turned down by the rude manager (semi bald guy) a couple of weeks back at 2 pm previously saying they are closing the kitchen 30 mins early that day since there arent enough guests - first time, this has ever happened to me in a fine dine that a restaurant turns down guests 30 mins+ before closing time.Gave this place a second chance tonight, walked in at 7:45 pm for dinner, the hostess told me that it might be a while to get a table. I asked her to put our name down. She says I could just come by at 8:30 and most likely Id be able to get a table. I asked her what if someone else comes in later and they are given a seat before us, why not just put our name/number down ? Then the semi-bald manager came rushing in, saying we dont take names, you just reserve online if you want a table. If you want, feel free to swing by in 45 minutes, I cant guarantee you anything, try your luck. I had better things to do than just swinging by and trying my luck at this place, had great food at Pompeii and State of Mind restaurants right next to this place both the times I was turned down by this place. If you are looking for Indian, there is little Blue door by Ettan nearby too. Skip this place :)
