Thank you Jess. I have a 2021 Honda CRV that had a failure in the AC. I was sure it would be a major repair but I did an on line search and found Hondas AC has had problems. I thought taking it to the dealer would be the best option.Jess at Auburn Honda told me that they would check it out. I was looking at a cost of at least $1,500 and at least a full day. I dropped my Honda off at 9am this morning expecting to not see it for 2 days.Jess called 3 hours later to say they found the leak and it was covered under warranty. It was simple and quick. I had my car the same day. Oh My Gaud!!!!Thank you Jess for being honest and getting me back on the road. You are a blessing.

The best buying experience! Special thanks to Michelle Swaim. After spending months looking at vehicles, and buying a few this year. Shopping at Auburn Honda was one of the best buying experiences I have seen. Super friendly environment. No pressure sales. They had the vehicles at the advertised price. No bait and switch, or other car sale gimmicks that I have seen at almost every dealer. They helped me out finding the best APRs beating the ones I found over the course of a week holding a vehicle I loved untill we finalized the deal and not to mention had the lowest prices I have found. Super excited about the new car I like it more and more every time I drive it. Its perfect. Thank you.

Very happy with the customer service and work done here. Jess helped me out when I came in early morning on 2/6/24. Got me set up quickly for what I needed to get done, and showed me where I could wait and enjoy a cup of coffee. Estimated me to wait an hour and was out in that time that was promised and able to get to work on time. He explained everything that was done and went over key points regarding my cars condition. Jess is very knowledgeable and guided me to where I needed to go, it was the smoothest experience at a dealership I’ve ever had since owning a Honda (1st purchased one in 2016). I live in Citrus Heights but work in Auburn and had 2 bad experiences at the future Honda in Citrus Heights so I’m glad I found this place. Will definitely be back for services here again. Made me feel very comfortable and not lost like most places have in the past.

We went here to trade in a car and they offered a bad deal, We said no and we werent taking it, as we where leaving one of the male managers was going at us about how we arent right and hes right, was aggressive, and called my mother emotional for not taking the deal. Very misogynistic and rude. Plus when I came in to get a service I mentioned there coffee machine was broken after they told meI could get a drink from it, I let them know as I was leaving and received a sassy reply. Definitely not coming back.

First time buyer here. Todd Christlieb helped me out very close to closing time when I wanted to test drive a 2024 HR-V Sport. Despite the time crunch, we went on a test drive and had all of my questions answered. I brought my 2022 Honda Pilot to Auburn Honda because the IPhone audio wouldnt route through the CarPlay system. After others failed, Todd came out and worked doggedly to investigate the problem, checking various settings on both the Pilot and the iPhone, for over an hour. He even reset the Pilot systems to factory default and rebooted the iPhone, but nothing worked. He googled for solutions and tried them, initially without success. I was beginning to lose hope but he just wouldnt give up. Finally he found the problem, buried two levels deep in the Accessibility menu of the iPhone, which was set to speaker instead of automatic. Flipping that switch solved the problem. I was very impressed with his persistence and determination and wanted to send this review and compliment. Without his help the problem wouldnt have been solved. He is a STAR and Auburn Honda is fortunate to have him on their team. Thanks again Todd.

My husband and I were interested in purchasing a vehicle spoke with Michelle Swaim about getting a new car we never got a call back or heard back from her.I called and got transferred to Tom who I guess is the manager and was very rude and unprofessional telling me they higher there prices but whatever people buy them.Don’t know what’s happening with Honda but it’s got me looking at other vehicles outside of Honda.

Im going to make this as short as possible. Bought a used Subaru from Auburn Honda recently. Michelle, our sales person, was great. The new sales manager, I cant remember his name, but he wasnt dressed very professionally. Unshaven, wearing a Dolphins jersey and was not interested in our deal because we were paying cash. Same with their finance lady. She didnt even come out of her office. They just had Michelle take care of the deal. Poor Michelle had no clue what she was doing when it came to the paperwork. Awful, awful!! It wasnt until I got home that I realized they still had my drivers license and they never put the registration on the car (the sticker), because again, poor Michelle had no idea what she was doing. We waited well over an hour for the car to be detailed. No one ever shook our hand and thanked us for our business. As a matter of fact when my husband went back the next day to pick up my license and have them stick the registration onto the car he asked them where the other set of keys were and the same unprofessional sales manager was irritated and told Michelle that we already discounted the car enough for them and refused to find them or make a set. So Michelle, being the kind salesperson that she is took care of us, and we are getting another set since apparently there are supposed to be 2 keys.I wouldnt buy another car from them. Michelle was great, but she is doing the job of 3 or 4 people. Thats not right. The rest of the people there are rude. We got what the car is worth, but they did have it priced way out of its price range. Awful experience!

This was my first experience with Auburn Honda, and it wont be my last. I was researching for a mid-size pickup truck and came across A.H. There it was! A 2023 Honda Ridgeline, low mileage, many features...and red! It was exactly what I was looking for. I contacted Todd Christlieb (actually he contacted me) about this truck. I went in, test drove the Ridgeline...perfect! Todd was really helpful without being pushy. He walked me through the trucks features, warranty and maintenance info. Please save yourself some money and frustration and choose another dealership. I was hoping to purchase a vehicle from Auburn Honda since it’s my local dealership. I had the worst experience at a dealership I’ve ever had trying to work with General Manager Tom Cline. He is rude, condescending, and not transparent with what the actual cost of the vehicle was going to be. I caught him being dishonest multiple times throughout the process and the whole experience was clearly more about pure profit than customer service. I’m very disappointed with Auburn Honda and I will be looking elsewhere for my vehicle. I hope you do the same.

I have a 2023 Honda Ridgeline Pickup and its the best truck Ive ever had. An I have had lots of trucks in my 76 years on this earth, I through the Dodge Ram was a Great truck, but the Ridgeline is like driving and riding in a car, plus with all the safety features that the factory put on it I feel so safe driving it. An in regards to the Service Dept. words cant explain how GREAT they are; so courtesy, friendly, professional and awesome people to have working their.I have had the truck service there for the past year and half and they have always been so very professional, outstanding service department. I will be a Honda Owner until I die which could be tomorrow or another 24 years. God Bless Honda

Todd Christlieb helped my mom purchase a brand new HRV and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Todd did a great job balancing cost with desired features to help my mom find her perfect car. We never felt pressured to make a decision, he was very patient and knowledgeable. He went over cars features before she left lot. A few weeks after my mom got her car she had some more questions regarding safety features and control panel and Todd went over them in detail again.Great experience, my family has bought cars from Auburn Honda for almost 30 years and this is a perfect example of why we’ll keep coming back.

I went to this dealership in our search for a new car. I did not end up using them to purchase and I absolutely would not recommend going to them at all. They markup their cars $2,000 and add nothing of value to you in the markup like other dealerships in the area. They also tried to tell us that they were the only dealership in all of California that was receiving a car in a specific color this week, which was a lie because two other dealerships we had already been in contact with, also received them that week. They force you to purchase their GPS system. It is a non-optional upgrade you MUST purchase. They also badmouth their competition. Two different employees here spoke negatively about their competition. That is just bad business practice. They are also selling their vehicles for significantly more out the door than other dealerships we had been to. Almost $5,000 more than other dealerships in the area. Save yourself the time and money, go elsewhere to purchase your new Honda.

So, I needed to visit the dealership for some tlc for my 2004 Accord. The guys in the parts department couldn’t have been nicer. They helped out and went the extra distance to insure that I would leave satisfied. After getting my key fob fixed and helpfully printing out directions to replace a broken shifter button, I left with a sense of confidence and relief that there were such pleasant and helpful people working at Auburn Honda. I will be back whenever my reliable vehicle needs a little something that only a dealership can provide. 👍🏻

I just purchased a 2010 Honda CRV from the auburn Honda dealership. It’s very unlike me to go leaving 5 star reviews for a car dealer, but I believe they deserve recognition. I’ve worked with another dealer in town with my last car (cough cough auburn ford) and it really had me scared to even purchase from another large dealer….not the case at auburn Honda!10/10 for hospitality and service.Thai (forgive me if that’s incorrect spelling) in the finance department especially. She helped me through the entire process, took the time to explain things to me that I didn’t understand about paperwork, helped me get new insurance, and was patient with me and my toddler. Gary, my salesperson was also great and easy to work with.Not only am I very happy with my car, but the staff made my purchasing process as smooth as possible. I have had my 2016 Honda CR-V Touring serviced at Auburn Honda since purchasing it alittle over a year ago. I called yesterday to see if I needed an appointment & was advised to get there early& expect a wait time of 2-3 hrs. I planned accordingly.The dealership was clean & comfortable. I was greeted by Stuart Schrader in the service dept. who answered some questions I had regarding platinum coverages and was very helpful and knowledgeable . The service staff were extremely busy & were doing their best to accommodate the influx of customers. I appreciate their honesty regarding wait times and am glad I called ahead. My experience reflects that they are straight forward, hard working folks providing excellent customer service. I also appreciate the little Honda touch things like washing my vehicle. I had a great experience purchasing a new Honda with Todd at Auburn Honda! This is my third Honda. I purchased my last Honda in SF, and my Honda before that was an incredible 91 civic workhorse that I got second hand. Anyhow, I came in pretty much knowing what I wanted- a Hybrid AWD CRV- and they worked with me to get it. Hybrids are in low stock across the country, and Todd went out of his way to let me know when a car arrived that fit what I was looking for. Also, I needed to arrange picking up the vehicle a few days after I saw it and the dealership in general figured out how to make that work. For people located in the SF Bay Area, I highly recommend considering a drive up here to both save some $ (markups here are much lower than in SF) and to get better service (people here were just much friendlier than SF Honda- also, after purchase I asked them where the catalytic converter was located since I was worried about theft, and the service department took the time to look for me and confirm that it is in the engine compartment thank goodness). I go camping and hiking in the area all the time, so for me it was an easy choice. You can still get warranty service closer to you, but you could save thousands of dollars on purchase price.

I bought a new 2022 CRV at another dealer in Sacramento. After I got the car home I realized there was a pretty major squeak coming from the left rear of the car. I live in Grass Valley, which is hilly. Every time I went up or down a steep hill or over a speed bump I heard the noise! I could not live with this for the next 10 or so years! I took it to Auburn Honda as they are closer to my home. My service advisor was Justin Craviotto. He was great to work with and said he would not be satisfied until the car was “perfect” as a new car should be! They put my in a loaner car. They worked on the car and Justin would update me almost daily. It was hard to diagnose, and Justin was even going to have a service technician from corporate Honda take a look. The plan was to return the car to me while I waited for an appointment with corporate service. When I got the car back, the noise was gone! I am happy I took my car to Auburn and will definitely use them in the future for service on my new car! They did not give up on the problem and fixed it to my satisfaction.

Service. I stopped in to see if a technician could manually unlatch my tailgate since a piece of fabric was stuck in it and I could not get it open myself. I told the customer service rep I needed it opened as I was moving so needed to be able to access the back of my Pilot via the back hatch, so if someone could just take a look at it, might be a 5-10 minute fix. He came back out and informed be the technicians were going to lunch at 11:15 am and could I wait three hours (which I could not as on my way back home to load up my car). So, lunch was more important than customer service.

Walked into the dealership to purchase a 2024 Honda Civic, I was told they wanted $3000 over MSRP, which is just the owner of that dealerships way of saying we don’t give a damn about you. Was then told by the underdressed manager, he would do me a a favor and only charge 1000 over MSRP for the car I didn’t want. called Stockton Honda leaving the parking lot, and was told they would do $500 under MSRP, drove to Stockton Honda and purchased the car that night. Call Stockton Honda, before you allow this dealership to rip you off. If you pay one dollar over MSRP, you are a sucker, and you’ll be paying for that extra charge every year you own that vehicle, in insurance costs and vehicle registration. In fact, you’ll see they have a scumbag wall, where they proudly act like they’re doing you a favor by overcharging you, trying to pretend that every dealership around also over charges. Do your homework!!!!!! Stockton Honda!

I was looking for a specific vehicle and worked with 10 different dealerships from SoCal to Washington trying to find it. I finally found it in Oregon, but Auburn Honda was one of the ones I spoke with. They wanted over a 4K markup so I declined then received a text message basically telling me I was a fool and would need to step up.I ended up contacting the GM to complain about it and contacted the police to start a harassment report in case it happened again. It did not.FWIW, I did get my new car at MSRP in Oregon.

Service Bulletin: 21-016, Warranty Extension: 2019-21 Insight A/C Condenser LeakTook it in on the extended warranty for the AC condenser. I told the service advisor I also had an extended warranty I purchased from a 3rd party company.The service advisor stated the hoses (2) needed to be replaced also. Service advisor sent the quote over to the warranty company which was denied. He then stated he did not have the hoses in stock and would need to order them. Bottom line is he tried to charge me over 1300 to diagnose replace the 2 hoses, the warrantied condenser and recharge the system. when I pointed out (sent him the paperwork) that the recharge, diagnoses and condenser should be covered under warranty he removed recharge labor and Fluid and it took the bill down 500+ dollars. I believe he still over charge me as $800 ($700 in labor) to replace to hoses that had to be removed from the condenser anyways is outrages. I am sure they billed Honda for the allotted amount and billed me as well Seems like double dipping and Im sure the service advisor receives commission on all work performed. NOT HAPPY and will not be returning.

Had a service appointment. We had a small issue with our vehicle. We took it in to Auburn Honda and it was from a previous repair, done by them. The openly acknowledged it and fixed it at no charge. I appreciate their honesty. It was a small mistake on their side, that would not have caused any damage to our car. But I feel they are trustworthy. They are never high pressure to do more.They have a very nice waiting room, with small refreshments. The staff are courteous.

Avoid doing business with this dealership. Not only did they harass myself and my partner incessantly about financing our lease BEFORE the attrition date. It was only until we demanded they no longer contact us after the deal was completed through Honda online & a private loan did they cease, but also lied on multiple occasions about the other means to finance our lease. When in person to finance early (~4mo), they came up with $1000 warranty we “had” to purchase otherwise “they didn’t make money off the sale”. Mind you, the finance they drew up was the price we leased the vehicle for and not reflective of the $10,000+ we paid during the 3yr lease. If you want an honest deal, go elsewhere.

We brought our HR-V in for its 30,000 service. They quoted us $900-$1200. Why so much? They wanted to do a valve adjustment. The owners manual says valve adjustments are due at 105,000 miles. Took it to another dealer who did the service for $259. Buyer beware.

Great experience car shopping which sometimes isnt. Junior was great not, pushy, knowledgeable, and listens. From the time we chose our Honda Passport EXL to the time we drove it off the lot, their was some one to answer any question we had. Junior even stayed past closing to give us a run down on how everything worked and if we needed any extra help all we had to do is call. Auburn Honda is a different kind of dealership because of the people. From Phil, in sales, the manager Paul, and financial services, they all were kind, truly helpful, and they gave us the time to think about what decision we needed to make without pressure. We looked at 4 different dealerships, but we bought at Auburn because they are genuine and trustworthy. This dealership even sends personalized handwritten thank you cards. I have never seen this done before in all the years we have bought new cars.

This Honda dealer was bought out by large group. No longer recommend as theyre out just to sell stuff. Went with my daughter to get a vehicle. Later went to buy the lease out gave instructions to salesman. After I left they proceeded to push her and sold her an aftermarket worthless warranty. She left crying and now has a larger payment.

As far as buying cars is concerned, I was very pleased with my experience at Auburn Honda. I was looking for a hard to find used Toyota Tacoma with manual transmission and used Car Gurus and Auto Traders to find it. I called Auburn Honda and Tom answered my questions in a low pressure manner. They placed a hold on the truck until I got there and Rob walked me thru the sales. Tim in finance was cool and even the sandwich lady(didnt get her name) was cool and the sandwich was great(dont eat before you shop there!). All in all I think the staff at Auburn Honda was great.

Unfortunately, I could not give 0 stars. I have a used 2013 Honda Pilot in December 2017. Less than two months after purchase I was back at Honda with a dead battery. The battery was tested and was way below the red line indicating it well below standards. I was told this car should not have been sold to me with the battery in this condition. Honda kindly gave me a “brand new battery”. Less than a year later my battery is completely dead, and I am expected to pay for a new one. I showed up to Honda in Auburn, after getting my car jumped to have Stuart tell me that he is correct in what he told me... and that they will not pay for a new battery for me, although I was clearly given a faulty one. I am very disappointed to say the least. As a business owner myself it is fair to do what is right, and unfortunately Honda in Auburn did not. Beware, I was told that if they replace your battery that they do not test the battery before putting it in your car because that would be very time consuming. Mind. BLOWN.

*Update* Dont complain about this place! Apparently the mechanic took it personal and told a mutual acquaintance he was going to cause me physical harm because i complained! *Beware* Had a transmission replaced under cert used contract. they stripped bolts left stuff loose and my exhaust rattled. I brought it back and the problem only marginally went away. I even told them how to duplicate the rattle. they had my car all day! I picked up the car drove home (rattle was still there) I got out stethoscope and found the problem. (took me 5 min) I would of gladly paid to have this noise fixed but apparently they are too lazy to do proper diagnostic work. Apparently they hire glorified lube tech to do major work on customers cars! After being threatened by the mechanic i no longer feel safe going here, hopefully management take this seriously and rectify the situation. When I told them what was said they seemed more concerned that the person who told me to watch out and given me the heads up. It did not make me feel safe at all!

After a few years of driving another make of car, I knew I wanted another Honda CR-V so I did some research. Looked at lot of vids on YouTube, read a lot of reviews, checked prices on Kelly Blue Book, and finally narrowed it down to the generation 4 models of the CR-V. I saw one I liked on Auburn Hondas website and sent an email. Junior called me and we set an appointment for the next day at 9am. The car I wanted had everything I was looking for: late model car, low mileage, one owner, well maintained, well priced, complimentary oil changes for two years, and the vehicle was Certified Pre-Owned. They gave me a very fair trade-in deal for my old car and I left very satisfied.I didnt feel pressured and Junior (salesperson) and Tim (finance guy) were both very respectful and professional--easy to deal with--a great buying experience. Something I thought was important is that they dont buy auction cars--their business is mostly local trade-ins. I would highly recommend Auburn Honda for new or used cars. Happy to do business with them.

Went there a couple of times to look for a vehicle. One of the salesmen was great (so I cant say the entire place is bad). But when you start to ask for numbers and talk about purchased, as anyone whos purchased a vehicle knows, a sales manager would come in. Well the sales manager came in, and was rude, started an argument and made it so bad, that I would not refer anyone to do business there. If you cant treat people with respect than how do you expect to get business? Not to mention they tried to sell me a 2017 vehicle for $3,000 more than a dealership that was going to sell a 2018. Hope they dont sucker someone into over paying.

I recently started going to Auburn Honda for services. My dad is a huge fan of Jess Prestridge so I requested him also. I went for an oil change and to get my side mirror assessed (was a bit wobbly from an impact). Jess was super great. He was direct and knowledgeable about my mirror and it didnt feel upselly or salesy. He looked for the best available deal on my oil change, without me even asking, which was a pleasant surprise. They even buffed out some scuff marks on my car, free of charge. Last oil change I had was also a great experience. Great straight forward folks here. Definitely coming back.

I bought my used 2014 honda accord hybrid from these guys and they were really nice and tried their best to get me the best loan for the car. At the time I was new to credit so many banks didnt want to take me so I didnt get a good loan deal but I took it anyways and then a couple days later they messaged me and told me to come back to sign for a better deal they found. The fact that even after the purchase and signing of all the paper work they kept looking for a better deal for me shows they want to give you a good deal and help you out. I highly recommend these guys if you want a Honda from a dealership. The Honda has also been running great which is why trust a dealers more even if it costs a bit more.

I bought a car here from Auburn Honda a month ago. It was 1 year old and still under warranty. Oil leaks and airbag light came on after the 1st night. I took it in and 3 weeks later I got it back and it was still leaking and the airbag light came back on. ugh Took it back and 1 week later it was repaired. Ive had it now 4 days and seems to be ok. But I have no confidence in this vehicle at all and would like them to swap it out with another. Of course, to get the manager or district manager to talk to me is near impossible. I leave messages and they do not call me back. Now I just got my dmv tags in the mail today and I was charged for 6 months prior to owning the vehicle. So again I call Auburn Honda and their response is thats how it works. What??? The tags were expired when I bought the car. So when I paid for the tags, I would think I would be paying from the time I purchased the vehicle and up to the next year. I will never buy at this dealer again. Their customer service is lousy. Especially when it comes to upper management. This is a couple weeks later now....David the district manager finally took care of things and I feel a little better now. Still not happy I had to go through all this but Ill live.

They have a mini food bar they said was free and somebody was supposed to be available to make sandwiches etc..., but wasnt. I had tons of issues in the Bay Area so I drove up to Aurburn to look at a car. It was a really positive experience from start to finish.I had called them the day before about a specific car so when I got to the dealer it was out front and washed and ready for a test drive. Tom set up my appointments and he was great and Sean was the sales person and he was super knowledgable. I asked him the same questions I asked 3 different dealers in the Bay area, and he was able to answer all my questions and then some.I decided to get it after a lengthy test drive. And it went pretty quickly. The trade in value was fair. But this is where I was really impressed. I had more questions and they were answered. They printed the Car Fax report and reviewed it with me. Sean went through all the features in my car with me and help me set up the Bluetooth with my phone and also preset any phone numbers I wanted in the car. I asked for some velcro for my Fastrak and he was able to provide that. When I went to clean out my old car, he offered me a bag for my things. They really have this whole process figured out, especially compared to other places.The whole process was great and I am glad I drove out here to get my car. I would come here again to buy a car, ask for Tom and/or Sean!

I needed a tire fixed and oil change. The tires were new, Honda Auburn installed them before I purchased the car and they do not provide a repair warranty . Darn It costed me $25 to have the nail pulled and tire fixed. It was really busy so I put off my oil change I was quoted 1 hour and 45minites for both darn, Ill have to come back. They told me it would take 1 hours for my tire and they were done in 45 minutes. So if your in a hurry you better call first and see if they can do the work you need.

Our salesman, Donovan Buttram, put no pressure on us to buy and worked with his manager, Tom Tavelli, to find the Honda CRV in the color we wanted from a sister dealership. Audrey was great at explaining our finance options and helping us choose the extended warranty that would most suite our needs. The night we were there shopping we found out our home was under evacuation because of the damage to the Orville damn spillway, and the entire team rushed the paperwork so we could get on the road and back to our house so we could pack and evacuate. Later the same night, and next morning, Tom called to check on our well being. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who wanted the personal experience without the pressure you get at larger dealerships.

I brought my car in the end of last summer last year to get the AC fixed because it would work on and off. I was told it would cost $250 to diagnose it and that would go toward the cost of fixing the problem. He mentioned no leaks and something about the system needing cleaned out (you know I’m not a mechanic that’s obviously why I take my car to a shop) and apparently that in the “future” the compressor needs replaced. Well apparently all they did was recharge the Freon, and not actually diagnose the issue considering it still doesn’t work SOMETIMES. So yes I paid $250 something to get Freon put in my car and still have an issue with the AC that wasn’t diagnosed. Thanks.On top of that I also had the check VSA Light “diagnostic” the same time as the check engine light. (Also last summer) They didn’t diagnose that either and said maybe it just needed cleared or reset. The light came back on the next day and when I called to mention it he told me it must be a DIFFERENT ISSUE. Unfortunately it’s hard to find an honest mechanic these days or one that actually takes time to listen to what is going on with your car to accurately assess the issue, especially being a girl SMH. Done with this place.

I replied to the email but specifically asked in the comment field to NOT be contacted by phone; email ONLY. Unfortunately, I couldnt not complete without adding by cell (maybe I should have put a fictitious number?!) 5 minutes later I received a call on my cell, and another email, I have been trying to reach you, by the end of the day. I replied to the email from Tom Tavelli, their Customer Relations Manager, and stated, I was not happy to see that in my first interaction with you, you had already neglected to listen, hear, and respect my wishes. I would appreciate if you did NOT contact me again. I will contact the dealership directly if I decide to do business with Auburn Honda again.Tom responded and basically said that he couldnt see my comment from what his system sent back to him. No apology or accountability for his actions.A week goes by and I receive another email from Tom, Are you still interested? I replied, I am working with another dealership. Thank you. Then he calls my cell phone...I remind him that I had specifically asked through their online system and in a direct email to him that I did NOT want to be contacted by phone. His response, Oh, thats right, youre [my dads name] daughter. (To me, this was said in a condescending tone, not with enthusiasm.) Little background, my dad use to work there and has since gone to another dealership.) Again, he stated that he had not received any of my communications through email. I asked who was responsible for monitoring the mailbox and online interactions, he said he was. I asked who his manager was, “David Jones.”Thank you David for taking the time to speak to me about my concerns.It was not a surprise to me that David had expected to hear from me, only 10 minutes after I got off the phone with Tom. I do not feel that I was disrespectful in any way, and apologize if I was. I am a customer that has my own set of expectations, and I expect that in an arena of customer service, they will be met and respected, especially when I am upfront and clear with them. I am well aware that my father does not work at this dealership any more, yet I persisted with my inquiry because I love my Honda Pilot and would like to upgrade. He lied to my family, threatened myself and my family members, called my work and harassed my boss and coworkers and myself. A lady came into my work and actually said she quit her job at Auburn Honda simply because of Tom Tavelli. The general manager does absolutely nothing about this employee. They falsify information, telling us that we can only have maintenance through their dealership, however, we found out from Honda Care, that we are actually allowed to go to ANY Honda dealership for services. We have many other issues with this place. We call and no one ever calls you back. When you go in there and talk to them in person, no one can help you and they literally walk you out the door and brush you off. We are so unsatisfied with Auburn Honda that we filed a complaint against them through Honda Corporate. WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE!!

My son had an appointment with the Service Dept. yesterday. He was told to bring his car the night before and leave it so a Mechanic could crank it the next morning to hear the sound it makes when cranked first thing because it only does it then and that could be the VTC Actuator. If it was that it would take all day to fix.First of all they never told him where exactly to leave his car so he parked it where he though it would be out of the way. When he goes to pick up his car before closing, they tell him that one of the Service writers had to move his car. Well of course since the Mechanic didnt move it, the Mechanic never heard the noise it makes and never heard it. He also left them a note to check over his car and complete the form that he had left for them to complete for Uber. So they kept his car all day without checking it out and without calling him to let him know anything or that he could go ahead and pick it up. Then told him he would have to make another appointment to bring it back again.He is a student and teaches at the University and dont have all the time in the world to convenience the Honda shop, that is why he had made this appointment over a week ago!He will not be scheduling another appointment, but instead will have it all taken care of at the Honda dealership in Dothan.Thanks for nothing!

Auburn Honda used to be the go-to dealer for my family and several of my friends but customer service has suffered in a big way since the dealer was sold. My elderly Mother-In-Law was particularly unimpressed with some aggressive phone calls leading up to the expiration of her lease--to include one particularly forceful phone call saying to her that they had a great deal for her but she only had one day to come in. In spite of this I sent them (and several other regional dealers) an email stating she was looking for the best deal on another CRV lease and to email me back specific pricing (again, shes elderly and doesnt have the time or energy to haggle). Some dealers returned specific numbers while other dealers (including Tom Tavelli at Auburn Honda) emailed back a generic feel free to call me anytime email. For what its worth I have no problem with a generic email, if thats all they offer then I thank them for their time. That being said if the other dealers can take the time to offer tangible numbers (per my email request) I will make the time to contact them.Fast forward a few days and we were able to close a deal with another dealership on another CRV. Tom Tavelli with Auburn Honda calls to talk to my Mother-In-Law to ask if she was still interested in trading in her CRV for another lease, to which I politely told Tom that she had found a CRV from another Honda dealership and was happy with her purchase. At this point I would have thought Tom would say something like, Im sorry we couldnt sell you another Honda but keep us in mind in the future. But instead he said, Well Im sorry you didnt talk to me first and Im offended you didnt stay local for the purchase of your Honda. He then asked why we chose another dealer so I explained they had given specific offers in response to my email. He was again frustrated that we chose another dealer, Over 50 dollars in his words. I told him I was surprised at his tone given that we had already bought from another dealer. He again said he felt offended. For what its worth weve never dealt with Mr. Tavelli in the past, only Paul Kimbrel who was great to work with (and is no longer there).Again, my Mother-In-Law is on a fixed income. Apparently Mr. Tavelli doesnt understand that in her world $50 means a lot. Furthermore, I found the attempts by Mr. Tavelli and Auburn Honda at bullying my elderly Mother-In-Law (and me) insulting.Before this conversation we had every intention of bringing her CRV to Auburn Honda for scheduled maintenance and continue to keep them in mind for future purchases. Now my family and I have no intention to patronize them again.

Auburn Honda is closest one to my home which is nice to drop my Civic off for service. I moved from Sacramento to Auburn. Mel Rapton Honda was willing to reprogram my keys with no charge because they gave me a new and reprogrammed key with remote. I didnt realize that my 2 original key with remote wont work with my car even though wont start my car after I moved in Auburn. I tried to see if Auburn Honda can reprogram my 2 original key remotes. They want me to pay for it even though they understand my situation. I told them that I would waste my time and gas to drive down to Mel Rapton for free remote reprogram. They would reprogram my remotes if Mel Rapton would pay them. Auburn Honda is terrible and selfish. They dont know how to satisfy customers! I would like to have all of my remotes reprogrammed for back up.
