I was able to get a next day appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. They were on time with the appointment and had me out in the expected time frame. They were friendly efficient and professional. And they left a little package of cookies in my car for me!I would go back again and I would recommend them.

We had a problem with our dash cluster. Corey took over our case. Which ended up being very challenging. After much patience with us, and many hours put in by himself and his tech, all problems were solved. Coreys professionalism, patience, and diagnostic skills along with using resources available to him makes him invaluable. I will always give him a 10/10. Almost no parking so very frustrating to drop off. I came in for an oil change and they gave me a recommendation to change my transmission, fluid and filter front rear differentials, transfer case, and flush, and fill the coolant. The estimate was just shy of $2000 my truck is five years old with 65,000 miles no towing and no off-road use. According to the manual, And confirmed with the local dealership, the transmission is sealed, and never has the fluid changed. The coolant is recommended at 10 years 150 K the front and rear differential fluid is never changed unless Towing and finally the transfer case recommendation is 15 years or 150,000 miles. If I had followed their recommendation, I would have wasted $2000 on unnecessary service… Yes – it’s one of those places!

The quality of service here was exceptional. Not only was the service expedient and courteous, but it was proactive and informative. Though I went in for an oil change, I left with full knowledge and a full diagnostic of what else could be done with the vehicle. I tried this place out for the first time the other day and everyone here was super nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The few times that they weren’t sure on an answer they went to go find a the correct answer. Instead of just making one up. Cory help me out over the phone. He was super personable and took the time to make sure I was getting all the help I needed. but to be fair everyone there was like this. The appointments here are very reasonable. They were able to have me in the next day. Plus, they have way better snacks here than at a dealership. I definitely recommend you check this place out.

My mom and I took her car in for a transmission maintenance and I wasnt sure if I should get all the bells and whistles done they explained the difference and didnt pressure me when I decided to get the basic. They had my car done with same day service. When I got the car back I got a detailed message with what was wrong and pictures to show me where on the car the repairs needed to be done. They did not pressure me to get them done but said when Im ready they be glad to help. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody they do not hound people especially two women going in not knowing anything.

I just took my Prius into Auburn Auto Doctors and was impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness with which they operate. I appreciate that their office was not flashy and when I remarked about that, Corey, who is at the front desk, related that they’d prefer to spend their money on the best tools for the jobs. Fair Prices in good customer service, I think I found a gem in the auto service industry.

Truck was a leaking and a smokin as I came through Auburn on my way home to Reno. Setting an appt was easy. Corey at the front desk was great and the service tech was thorough. Its not easy to get at 4.9 rating in Google. They deserve it. Oh and I did mention they cleaned my windows and left a bag of cookies??!

The ABS light and traction control lights came on my RAM 1500. These guys figured it all out.Price was maybe a little higher than expected, but they give you a ride to/from the shop.3 year/36000 mi warranty…. I think it is still worth it. No stress.

The dreaded check engine light came up and I was in a panic to get it fixed before my smog was due the end of the month. Note: Vehicle they worked on here at Auburn Doctors. (96 Toyota 4Runner, 3.4L) Most places I called wouldnt work on my vehicle. Most AutoRepair shops i called near here, only work on vehicles 2000 and up only.Auburn AutoDoctors$150 Inspection: they were able to fix my issues with-in the inspection time!! 👌👌👌Great Customers service. They were very knowledgeable and polite. They set proper expectations and were very clear, so that there were no mis-understanding of any sort. Incredible people and service. I was stuck in Auburn while just starting my trip from Auburn, CA back to my home in Montana. Not same w Tesla.They worked w/ me and my schedule to accommodate waiting for parts from Tesla and allowing me to use the car. Along with a reasonably priced oil change, they do a very thorough checkup - with printouts of system conditions, tire tread depth, brake lining thickness, etc. However, this is not a quick lube type of place. Plan to leave your car for several hours.

These guys are great! Very knowledgeable and good at what they do. I brought my 2016 ford focus st to them for diag after it suddenly overheated and spewed all my coolant on the ground, and they found that it was the water pump. Within about 3 days turnaround they had it all replaced and tested, ready to go. They also worked with my extended warranty to lower the cost which i was very happy about. Thanks again! In the past, I have definitely felt like other businesses have tried to take advantage of my lack of understanding, and get annoyed if I have questions, but these guys are the complete opposite. They want their customers to understand everything and feel comfortable with the work being done. Even if you just go in for a simple oil change, they send out a link with a whole vehicle inspection. It’s super user friendly and entails any work that needs to be done now(red), or work that should be done soon(yellow), and everything that looks good(green). All categories come with photos that they take while completing the inspection. Their prices are very reasonable, and after going there a couple times I won’t go anywhere else. And BONUS, they leave cookies in your car when they’re all done and I get tons of coupons from them in the mail. Give these guys a try for sure.

My car inspection was very thorough and detailed. The mechanics found my problem and only fixed the issue I requested. They did not pressure me into fixing anything else. They provided me with a printout of recommended fixes that were found during the inspection and provided a breakdown of cost to repair items found. The staff are courteous and friendly. Transmission went out and had truck towed to Auburn Auto Doctors.At time it was thought that the clutch had failed but the Doctors checked my Transmission and found metal in the fluid. Marco spent several days looking for a Transmission. I was able to find a replacement closer to home. In all my 10years of owning a vehicle and bringing to mechanics and shops, I have NEVER had this amazing experience. Usually mechanics want to give the quickest answer just to get you out of the door or get u to do more for your car than needed. This place is not only extremely informative, without me having to ask a million questions and feeling like Im badgering or bothering, the manager is very thorough clear and informative with all information without me even having to ask too many questions, he gives full answers and really let me know everything I needed to know, I feel like I actually know my car after leaving this place. I have no open ended wonders about what was done or what needs to be done. They are VERY thorough informative honest and very hospitable kind and patient with making sure their customers are on the same page as far as whats going on with our vehicles. I appreciate this place SO MUCH. It will be my regular shop, even if I move back to Sacramento. It is worth driving the extra mile to get your vehicle in this shop. The manager/owner is amazing. I loved the rating (red, yellow, green) and explanation of what needs to be repaired now and what can wait, not pushing you to fix something this visit. I desperately needed 4 new tires (included picture of treading) and although the shop doesnt have tires for sale Marco was able to find me 4 tires so that I could take care of everything there!!!! Though this place is on the expensive end of repair shops, they did fantastic work on my air conditioning and solved problems that other shops couldnt figure out.However, after I left is when I really started to despise this company. They sent regular solicitation texts that were really annoying. And then they started sending deceptive fake checks to me. The checks look real! One was for $46. But then when you open the envelope and read the attached letter, it says it is only a $46 discount on future work. It is really disgusting that this company chooses to use a dishonest ploy to get you to open their mail. It makes me feel like the whole company is shady. Dont go there. Seriously. I could have had a better deal at the actual Ford dealer repair shop and avoided the constant solicitation and shady marketing tricks.

Took my partner’s vehicle here after someone TRIED to steal the catalytic converter. Auburn auto doctors was able to weld it, saving me the cost of replacement. Great experience. Needed smog certificate with lots of dash lights lit up. Marco and team correctly diagnosed that the engine computer responsible for sending the warnings was fouled, thus sending false readings. They had to order a part, which they did immediately but not before talking to me for my okay. They did the repair the moment the part arrived, knowing I was down to the due date for being smogged. This place is above all the most trustworthy, honest and knowledgeable repair facility anywhere around. My niece‘s car broke down on the freeway and we had it towed to this location. We had an emergency with our car overheating on our way back to the Bay Area from a backpacking trip. It was 100 degrees outside and we had two dogs with us. They not only diagnosed our car for us as soon as we got there, despite being busy but also let us and our dogs hang out in the office while they worked- feeding us snacks and drinks. Chrysler 300 had UN-diagnosible miss in engine.My mechanic (me) replaced the coil but problem persisted.I couldnt figure it out so I took it to Auburn auto doctors because they have a great reputation. They found the problem was with a fuel injector and it only happened when it was cold in the morning. Since they had to pull the manifold, they gave me the option to replace them all and the spark plugs for a fair price and to avoid another problem down the road. So we did.It was over the weekend but they basically did it all in one day.

I had a knocking in my wheel and was worried there was a severe suspension problem. Our normal mechanic was booked 3 days out. Rolled in 30 minutes before closing over a 3 day weekend. Heard a mystery pop n hiss, then a weird fan whirl on my 08 6.7 ram turbodiesel. They were going to keep it overnight n check it next morning but a clever kid gave it the code reader (no codes) then gave a quick visual and found our problem. You see the people i purchased the car from put in an after market gps system into the car and that seemed to be shorting out the ignition which made the starter hot to shut down the car i guess??? Something like that so they put in a new ignition and took out the faultly gps system and so far the car has started everytime. I am so happy and amazed.
