I was having issues with my laptop connecting to the internet and a hard drive that was operating too slow to be useful. I emailed for an appointment and received a response within 15 minutes. The staff is extremely responsive and flexible to accommodate my schedule. I brought both items in and was assisted by Kevin. He was friendly and knowledgeable, even offering to make a house call if need be. I will be recommending Au Technologies to friends and family who are in need of tech support. Thanks for the help!

I highly recommend Lab 5-8 for a variety of computer problems. Kevin is always quick to respond to calls, he understands when an individual or company runs into computer problems they need and want a fast fix/solution. The monitoring service Lab 5-8 offers will keep you worry-free and secure in the knowledge your computer has a guardian angel watching over it.

Lab5-8 has been fantastic! We have a small business and needed help with our website, promotional campaigns, and just general help when it comes to technical issues. Kevin is the best. I was a walk in, although he prefers appointment first. Took an hour of his time to diagnose my issue on my laptop. Let me know Its really not worth putting 400 into fixing since the graphics was fried. He then spent another 30 mins making a list of what parts to buy for my own custom build for a desktop that Ive always wanted to do but didnt feel confident. Kevin is the tech friend you wish you had. Highly recommend calling him and stop going to anywhere else if you want to save money. Thank you so much Kevin. Looking forward to my build!

Lab 5-8 is a 5 star IT company. Their tech, Melinda was outstanding. She knows her Mac and PC platforms well. She brought my Mac back to life, transferred all my data to a solid state drive and assisted with troubles on my virtual PC environment. I would trust my sensitive data with no one else. A business colleague of mine was in from Europe and stopped to see me on his way to a major healthcare conference in San Francisco where he had multiple scheduled meetings and multiple PowerPoint presentations that were stored on his computer. While staying with me his computer refused to boot up, and it was a Sunday. I called Kevin at Lab5-8, he tried walking us through a fix over the phone and when that did not work, we met him at his office and within an hour he had the computer working perfectly. He literally saved my friend from a business disaster. Professional, polite and incredibly good. Really knows his stuff and I would not hesitate to use him again and recommend him to others.

Lab5-8 has been awesome! Every time I have an issue with one of our computers they jump right on it and get the problem resolved. Most of the time they are able to handle the problem remotely which makes it nice. I highly recommend them!

Kevin and his team are the undisputed tech and computer repair champions of San Diego and local Encinitas and Carlsbad, hands down!I recently experienced other Encinitas/Carlsbad computer repair companies taking advantage of their customers in this wounded economy by price gouging and replacing their free diagnostic service with a paid version ($100!). Plus 2-3 weeks turn around time...Very unfortunate!Kevin and Au Tech Solutions is doing what is honorable and right by keeping their free diagnostic service in place, as well, they have been extremely fair with their repair and replace costs, and their turn around time is on point! I am writing this review to let people know there is a computer repair option for San Diego Encinitas and Carlsbad that does not take months for repairs, or hundreds of dollars just to determine that your repair will cost more!I would recommend Au Tech Solutions to anyone looking for fair treatment and reliable services.Thanks AU Tech!
