And while other attorneys wanted to charge us extra (outside our corporate legal plan) for transferring our rental properties into the estate, Robert did it for no extra charge. We did our Estate Planning with Robert, including Trust. He was approachable and explained all our questions. He was organized, knowledgeable, quick and effective. He facilitated our understanding. He went above and beyond to make us happy, certain and comfortable with the material we were dealing with. We are very satisfied as customers/clients. The whole process took 3 weeks in total. Our first contact with him was through email then we talked over the phone for 15 minutes (you can book this free call through his link on Google) . After that, we received further instructions from him to schedule a 2 hour consultation via zoom. Once we received a draft, we reviewed the material with him via zoom; then soon after, we received the documents to be signed/notarized. When youre young (well relatively young), estate planning doesnt cross your mind too often. You think its something you do at the twilight of your life. You always think, theres time. But, as we all know (especially this last year) life is short, unpredictable. You want to protect your assets and ensure your family is taken care of. You want to have a plan. I called Robert and left a message to inquire about having a will and/or living trust drafted for me. He returned my call very quickly within a couple of hours. After listening to my particular situation, he ascertained that my assets and situation were very straightforward. He determined that a living trust would be overkill. He said he didnt want to take money for something that I didnt really need. He then walked me through what I needed to do, and said I could find all docs easily on line. Next, he forwarded me links to sample docs. He also clarified/explained a few things related to living wills for an issue I am facing with my parents estate documents. Super impressed with the speed in which Robert got back to me, his honesty and integrity, and his thorough knowledge and expertise. Robert made the process of creating our Living Trust a breeze. We’d been putting it off and putting it off, but when our second child was born we knew it was time. Robert helped us compile all the information we needed so nothing would be left out of the Living Trust. He did the hard work so all we needed to do was answer some simple questions. He brought a thorough understanding of the law. But more than that, he brought great service. He let us know when to expect things, and then got it to us when he said he would. Highly grateful with Roberts knowledge and expert service. I had been trying to resolve a beneficiary issue with the bank for about fifthteen months. I had gone back and forth spending hours at various branches. I probably invested over one thousand hours over the phone and branches trying to resolve the beneficiary issue with the bank. Each time a representative from the bank called the estate unit, they would be placed on hold for about twenty to thirty minutes before someone answered. Each time was the same process. Each time the estate unit would request a different document. Each and every time I submitted documents they requested and was denied the funds.I contacted Robert and he provided me with the perfect probate letters. One was a disclaimer letter that the bank completed ignored. The other was for the bank to release funds or legal action will be enforced and they will be responsible for any legal fees. Of course, it included legal probate codes. The last letter was submitted on a Friday. The bank estate unit called the next business day, which was on a Monday, stating the funds will be released. They kept their promise and the funds were released within couple hours.I am very pleased with Robert. He is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. When my wife and I got married, we wanted to set up a trust and start planning for our future. Im a lawyer, but I dont have any experience doing estate planning work. I know a lot of estate planning lawyers and I hired Robert Theofanis because hes a good guy, hes trustworthy, and he is young (I wanted someone who will be around for a while since I plan to be around for a while). Robert took care of everything. He was able to explain things really well so that my wife (not a lawyer) and I both equally understood the process. He used technology to make everything really easy - from video conferencing to online document sharing - and he even sent a mobile notary to us so we never had to leave our home.
