For several years of illness and surgeries I thought about having a will but everytime I asked friends if they had a will or knew of a good lawyer I never got a good answer. Then when I was getting my taxes done i mentioned i needed a will. Atlantis Law Firm works out of the same suite and I was introduced to James Long the estate planning attorney. It was perfect. I was able to fill out some of the info on line and then when I came to sign the living trust and will Janes answered all my questions and explained all the paperwork in detail that was tailored to my situation. I have wanted to get a living trust for sometime. I started the process with another firm, but the amount of paperwork requested to be submitted required a lot of work, and I just didnt have the time. Fast forward a year later, and I knew I should get one. I heard good reviews about Attorney James Long and contacted him. His office assistant sent me a link, and I was able to enter the information electronically. The user interface with the firms computer application makes it so very easy to input the information and come back to it later as time permits. This really made a world of difference. Once we met with Attorney James Long, he was able to review everything I had submitted, allowing us time to talk about any specific needs. James Long spent a great deal of time with us and answered all of our questions. He didnt rush us at all, even though there were others in the lobby waiting for his services. James and his staff made the process very easy. James prices are reasonable and comparable to other law firms. However, you get the added benefit of an experienced Attorney who explains everything in laymens terms, and makes you feel really comfortable. He is also very patient and good with children, as I had to bring my four children into the office once. Lastly, he is a Christian family man and he truly is in this profession to help others. I felt that presence about him when we had our meetings. I have had many co-workers and friends have to deal with family that didnt create a will or trust and to go through probate creates stress, financial strain, and family drama. I got into some pretty heavy credit card debt because of a failed business venture and was so stressed with the payments. I didnt think this was an option but I decided why not. I have never “yelped” before...but my kids all do so I thought “why not”. I just wanted to say something about Atlantis Law Firm. We all know the lawyer jokes and we all hope we never need one...until we do. We had struggled for years to keep our heads “above water”, but when you have done everything short of something illegal, then then its time to stop and rethink the whole situation...before the illegal act is best...:). Its always hard for anybody to admit defeat and it was not any different for us. We have not needed a lawyer in over 35 yrs; and we had to file for bankruptcy. I looked online for someone and came across Atlantis Law Firm. I smiled when I seen the word “Atlantis” combined with Law Firm. “Atlantis”...the fabled “Island” of knowledge in Greek mythology. I thought Id just make an appointment and “see if it felt right”. I found myself ...way out....on a limb. and very over extended on my income.I called around to other law firms before I called Alantis.The others were very matter of fact and a little on the ......chilly.....side.I found Alantis, they were very warm, courtious and worked with my ......very limited income.....Everyone in the office and on the phone when I called were great and I think did more then their......job description....called for.Its bad enough to be in this spot but when you are........you really want someone that knows their business and a great staff that treats you like a welcome friend......No matter what your legal problem may be.........I would call them again and I would know they would take care good care of me.They ........honestly are.........a professional law firm......
