Atlantic tax services is the best place to do your taxes honestly, Ive been going there since 2012, the owner Andy is the best. The person that did my taxes, Miguel is really the best too. Wasted my time.I was looking for a quick quote which I initiated via text. Then they had me send all my documentation (which I understand is needed to quote and was completely ok with), then another 10 minute call for them to tell me I needed to schedule an appointment to get the quote.I book the appointment for two days later for 10am. They call me 17 minutes late and waste another 10 minutes of my time for them to tell me the quote was $450 about $200 more than all the other quotes I obtained.Stay away yall.

I unfortunately had a pretty terrible experience with this company after they hired me to do some SEO work on their website and then ultimately refused to pay for my services.In January their employee Sara reached out to my small business which provides web development and SEO services to help them with a new site and to better compete in their field. Sara asked for a proposal of work to which I gave them and after review the company signed the contract and we began work.A few days later an email chain between myself, Sara, Victor and Andy was started and Victor was unclear about what SEO was and why it was needed. They decided they did not want to move forward with the work and even though we had a signed contract with a clear 3-month no cancelation in place, I offered to forgo the contract if they would simply pay for the 2 hours I had already spent on a site audit and meetings with Sara walking her through a plan. Victor requested the work I had already done and I sent him the site audit and the invoice for 2 hours.After weeks of them not responding to emails I called to ask about the status of payment as I am just trying to be a reasonable small business owner to another local company. Victor told me they absolutely will not pay because what I did would only take 5 minutes. For someone who needed an explanation on what SEO was in the first place I tried to explain to him that the time was spent fairly and it wasnt just the document I sent that had the suggested outline of work, but the meetings and time spent with Sara to go over everything.If this is the type of business they are running where they sign contracts and then refuse to pay for services rendered not only is it a sign of bad management, but ultimately really poor character. I would urge anyone to avoid working with this company.

Ive been a loyal customer to this place for the past 10yrs. This yr that I went to file, the atmosphere was very different than before. I went there on a Saturday on March 16th, Andy wasnt there. The ppl that took care of me were all pretty much new faces. I went there around 1pm, I felt rushed and they didnt get to know you like they did in the past. When I was getting ready to pay they were confusing me with someone elses account, I didnt think of any of it at the moment. I had asked for direct deposit and I was waiting for it and I think them getting me confused with somebody else had something to do with it. Turns out my refund never got deposit because, the bank rejected it so they had my check at the office and told me the state check would arrive in 10 business days, its been a month and still nothing. The yr before that, the person that took care of me didnt write down my address correct. The IRS was trying to get a hold of me and I had no clue about it until they contacted my job. Andy is great and if you want your service done with him he is a 5star. You would have to make an appointment cause he is very busy. The kids he has running the place are not really all there especially when he isnt there. This will probably be the last yr I file with them, I rather do it online myself its not that difficult. I only kept going cause of Andy if Im being truthful. His hospitality was what kept me going.

AANND u get 50 bux cash when u recommend someone Soo everybody put my name down 😂 giving 4 Stars cuz they charged me almost 300 plus 100 for picking up my check at the office. So 400!! But I got a good tax return so fine. 4 Stars it is. Id definitely recommend them even without the 50 bux 😜

I was with my tax guy for over 15 + years older gentlemen he was very good.. However my X kept insisting to go with his tax guy that his was better than mine... Lol... Im on my 3rd year and stood with IRSERVICES 😳 Andy is amazing at what he does!! Love how he brakes it down to you and always willing to answer every question and concerns you have for him.... With that being said the girls and his staff are also very kind and professional which makes it very greeting and comfortable to customers... When I first came here (2013) I knew nothing about the process for filing taxes, it was my first time. Did my taxes here 3 years straight. This last year I tried h&r block and was surprised to find out Atlantic tax services had filed my taxes wrong, they advised me and my girlfriend file jointly which you cant do unless youre legally married but they didnt mention that. They were only trying to GET ME MORE. Now I have to ammend my tax returns and pay back over 3k. Thanks IRBusiness!!
