Our technician was great! He cleaned up my son’s phone port, and then he changed my battery. It took him less time to change the battery than he told me it would; and he also cleaned my phone without my asking him first — I didn’t realize I could ask for that service, but he improved my phone all on his own initiative. Wonderful! Thank you so much for the service.

My go to place for all of my electronic needs! Whether it’s a computer / laptop issue or a simple screen protector change— these guys are the best! I cracked and broke one of my cameras on my phone and Bobby gave the best customer service I’ve ever experienced! Ahsan was also very patient and nice since I’m mentally challenged when it comes to technology.

First time ever needing a phone repaired and I had a wonderful experience. The technician that helped me was very polite, knowledgeable and efficient. As my phone had overheated and screen was completely black, she helped me overcome the anxiety I had thinking I lost all my data. She recommended a new replacement, and everything was completed in 1 1/2 hr. with all my data. In addition, free diagnostic and 1 yr. warranty was included. Best of all, with my insurance the repair was totally covered. I have already recommended UBreakifix to family members.

I was able to drop my phone off on my way to work and pick it later. They were very nice there and the customer service was great. The day before I had driven to the Samsung Flagship in Glendale and it was going to be a 2 1/2 hours wait just to drop the phone off. So glad I found this place.

Bobby was very helpful! My less than 6 month old Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has not been able to charge through the USB-C port. Samsung Care+ and my cell warranty, since its within 1 year of purchase, would not cover it for whatever reason, so Bobby cleaned the erosion in the port. Im still getting the same error when trying to charge, but at least Bobby & ubreakifix did their best. Thanks!

Hiram was beyond phenomenal!!! The paragon of professionalism and hard work. Even while being short staffed he was able to properly service the customers. We all even discussed it. I hope they all leave a review as well because between he and Rafael the job got done! He was even able to get me to purchase some much needed product for my phones environment and also signed me up for the asurion home+. I will always look to them (the Marina Del Rey) solely regarding any repairs and I live in Manhattan Beach. But with that type of customer service it’s worth the drive.

Took my phone in to get repaired. They were supposed to open at 10a, but no one bothered to show up. A single worker showed up at 10:30a and tried calling management while half a dozen people waited outside, some who were waiting to pick up their phones. Others like me waiting to drop their phones off for repair, and no one showed up for over 50 min. He couldnt open the door, and tried his best to manage communicating with management and the frustrated people oitside. I finally left around 11a. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. This comes on the heels of attempting to get my phone repaired as they are an authorized repair shop. They offered to call me back when the parts came in, but never bothered. I had to call repeatedly to see if the part was in. It was finally in this week and this was my one chance to get it repaired before the holidays, but that opportunity was gone. A really disappointing experience overall. Originally had this as a one-star review, but changed it to 2 stars as the employee who sat outside with us was kind and considerate to everyones frustrations, even after I lost my cool for waiting for almost an hour.

I usually hate going to these phone repair places because I never have a positive experience, but I can say that this place has totally changed my perception. I was having issues with my Samsung Z Fold 4 screen. Using my Samsung Care + plan this was listed as a nearby authorized repair facility. I made an appointment online and met with a service advisor named Rafael. He was very nice and courteous and understood my phone well. He noticed the screen wasnt the only problem, but also that there was an issue with the hinge, which was sort of unnoticed by me. The part I needed was in stock and they were able to completely repair my device and call me for pickup in just two to three hours, which was actually faster than the quoted time. I will definitely recommend coming back here.

They will not honor their own Warranty!Update 7/7/23 - I Filed a complaint with the BBB with all my evidence including the pictures of my old screen and warranty information. I got a call from the case manager from Asurion and after seeing the screen, she assured me this should of been covered 100% by the warranty and refunded me my full amount. Its sad to see the employee at this location making unilateral decisions on warranties he has no knowledge of.The majority of positive reviews for this phone repair service primarily highlight the excellent customer service and the satisfactory results obtained when getting phones fixed. Based on my personal experience of visiting the shop three times over the past four years, I have had a generally acceptable experience overall.During my initial visit, I encountered a minor issue when the staff attempted to sell me non-authentic parts. However, this concern was promptly addressed, and during my second visit, I received exceptional service, earning a well-deserved five-star rating.Unfortunately, my latest visit presented some challenges related to honoring the warranty from the previous screen replacement. The screen of my phone suddenly stopped functioning, despite no visible physical damage. I had previously opted for the installation of a liquid screen protector provided by the shop. Surprisingly, it was explained to me that surface-level scratches on the liquid glass voided warranty for mechanical failures, which left me dissatisfied with their reasoning.The warranty in question only covered breaks and did not extend to hardware malfunctions, the screen replacement I had done last year is meant to cover malfunctions which are still under warranty.The shops position was that the surface layer scrapes/scratches invalidated the warranty, a stance I found difficult to accept. Since as a seasoned IT professional I know that a surface layer scratch did not cause a hardware malfunction.When I confronted the technician regarding his judgment that a physical scratch caused the mechanical malfunction, he retreated to the back room and appeared to create a video recording while providing accompanying commentary. I distinctly heard him asking a colleague to add a note confirming the presence of a scratch on the screen as the cause of the issues. This attempt to support his position with fabricated documentation left me disheartened.In summary, while the majority of customers have had positive experiences with this phone repair service, my recent encounter presented certain disappointments. Although previous visits showcased excellent customer service and satisfactory repairs, the shops failure to honor the warranty in this particular case has tarnished my perception. It is my hope that the shop addresses such discrepancies and upholds their reputation for providing exceptional service to future customers.

This is the worst customer service I have ever received for anything.I filed a claim with Google to have the cracked screen on my Pixel 6 Pro replaced and I had the misfortune of being directed to this store. The first time I arrived they did not have the screen for my phone in stock. These things happen, whatever. They say they will give me a call back when it is in stock.Two weeks pass and I hear nothing from the store. I call in and someone gives me an excuse that the screens have been hard to procure, but he asks me to hold while he checks inventory. Turns out that they have it! They just didnt call me because...? I dont make a fuss, because I just want to get my phone fixed. I come in and lo and behold: My claim has expired! Now I need to file another one with Google, and theres a problem with my account so that the claim cannot be filed on this day! I let the store know that I will need to come back tomorrow and they tell me not to worry about it.I come back a THIRD time to get my screen replaced with a new claim and they GAVE THE SCREEN THEY HAD ON HOLD AWAY TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER! ON THE SAME DAY I WAS THERE, NO LESS! $90 down the drain in Uber fees in addition to having my time repeatedly wasted. I speak to a manager and the best they can do for me is ask to transfer the inventory from another store.This location is absolutely embarrassing and frankly, a disrespectful waste of time. What good is your word to transfer it from another store when youre willing to give away something to a customer the very same day I was there? Stay far, far away from this location.

I felt very comfortable taking my phone to this location. I cracked my Samsung S10 screen and couldnt unlock my phone. When I called the store the person who answered the phone was very knowledgeable, helpful and honest. Thats always a great thing. When I arrived I was told to come back in 2 hours but my phone was fixed before then. I would highly recommend this place.

I came in with my iPhone 12 Pro Max & didn’t wait more than 30 seconds to get helped by Rafael. I had an issue with my screen and it having issues when I typed he was able to tell me the media price but also to tell me other solutions that I had as well can you please show me how to go about seeing if I had coverage as well, and helped me extremely fast. He told me how I can go about troubleshooting some of the issues before paying for the services but also, this isn’t my first time coming to them as well. They are super helpful every single time I come in and very efficient as well whenever I had issues with other devices. Depending on what type of device you have, I would always bring in my electronics to them to get repaired firsthand.

I am out of town for work, filed a claim with my phone service and even though they were busy and just ran out of screens the day I called, had it a day or so later, and having got off work late was unsure if I was going to be able to get a repair in time completed. Zero stars if possible. Store doesnt prioritize appointments and super unde staffed. One person working there. Had an appointment and I wasnt taken until an hour after said appointment time. At no time was I informed the pontlessness of the appointment. I arrived on time to be seen on time. I mentioned my appointment to the front desk staff and was ignored being told I had to wait for six walk ins in front of me. Garbage customer service. Wouldnt go here unless it was deemed necessary by my samsung warranty.

The legends at this store have to deal with a lot. Everyone has an emergency and wants their issue dealt with immediately. I was helped by Jonathan and he was a legend. Helped as quickly as he could and was friendly and polite. While I was there he had to deal with a very rude customer, Sally, and did it well. Always being professional and polite. Don’t hesitate to come here for your repairs but keep in mind to be kind to the staff. They’re doing their best.

If you make an appointment, this apparently does not create the ticket, so when you go in there is no guarantee they will have the parts you need. I made an appointment a week in advance and structured my entire day around getting my phone fixed (I dont have a car, so this was a trip for me), and when I got to the store they didnt have the parts required to fix my phone.

Made an appointment online-easy. When I got to the store Rafael told me they didnt stock the part. It would have been nice to be informed when I booked. But he explained clearly and calmly why this happens and he special ordered the part.I like his attitude and diligence. Ill update this review after the repair is completed-but I have high confidence. Update a week later: Repair completed, but delayed. Rafael is a gifted technician, but this location is terribly understaffed. They need to clone Rafael, because theyre overwhelmed with customers. Always crowded---I know this from being there on multiple days.

I was having a major crisis, clogged charging port on my phone so it would not take a charge. My phone was on 3% then my tire blew out!! I had almost no ability to make a call or take care of my tire because my phone was dead and I had no way of charging it. Douglas fixed my phone for free!! Unclogged the port and sent me on my way. Problem resolved in 5 minutes. It was a deep clog too! I have had minor clogs from pocket lint that I can clear on my own, but this one was stuck way in there. He cleared it out easily and took great care of me. Would highly recommend for any phone issues. Thank you Douglas!

I dropped by this store after a T-Mobile representative recommended that I do so. Douglas, the Customer Service Agent from uBreakiFix helped me tremendously. He quickly troubleshooted the problem and in no more than 3 minutes, he found it. Once found, it seemed so simple but one has to know the reasoning about such things. I took my daughter’s iPhone here for a screen replacement. The staff was courteous, informative, and very helpful walking us through the insurance process. The repair took a much shorter time than was originally quoted. I would definitely recommend this repair shop.There is a sufficient amount of free parking at this location. There are plenty of shops in the area, if you want to wait while your device is repaired.

Took my desktop computer in for a data extraction and diagnosis after water damage occurred, they had it for 2 weeks and didn’t pull the data I asked for on my SSD that I really needed but instead pulled a bunch of useless files from another drive, I was able to extract the data myself after buying a ssd adapter no problem

Yesterday I went into the store because my Iphone12Pro was having problems charging. I was promptly seen by a gentleman named Ahsan. I explained my situation, he immediately looked at the charging port and assessed that it was most likely dirty. Then he told me that he would take my phone to the back to clean it. Brought my Google Pixel 2 in for an intermittent static screen. The staff took it in, provided a reasonable time estimate for repair and a cost of $129. I was a bit concerned as they mentioned the fix might not repair my screen and I would need to take it back to Google for the repair, but they deferred to the evaluation process prior to doing anything else.When I returned, 30 minutes early, the guy at the counter said the phones screen was loose as were a few wires. He said he handled it and the repair was free! I was incredibly grateful and offered to give him a tip, which he refused! Not only quick and competent staff, but ethical as well. I am incredibly unhappy with the service provided. I brought my phone in on May 3rd and they were super accommodating about fixing my phone same day and everyone seemed very nice. My phone was having pretty severe overheating and ghost touch. They told me that it would be a battery and screen replacement for a total of ~$260. I also asked for them to put on a protective screen and they did not and by the time they finished they were already closing up.Not 2 days after the replacement, my phone still felt incredibly hot to the touch during use and the screen started shutting off randomly. As of this morning, my phone will click and work; you can hear it operating when buttons are pressed and things will play, but the screen is black will only turn on sporadically. Super frustrated with this experience as I work via my phone and have tons of content on there that cant be downloaded, and had I known there was potentially not a fix, I wouldnt have wasted the money and would have just bought a new phone.

A+ Customer service! I brought my iPhone 6 in because it wasnt charging properly and crashing every few minutes and Kale saved the day. Kale diagnosed my phone as having a problem with either the battery or daughter board. He was very clear that the best course of action was to attempt to replace the battery (for $59) and if the issue wasnt resolved that there my be deeper issues with the phones hardware or software. With in the hour hed swapped out the battery. Unfortunately replacing the battery didnt stop the phone from crashing. I offered to pay for the time it took but he insisted that the diagnosis was free, and theyd only take payment if they were able to fix the phone. My computer turned on and was fully functional at the time it was dropped off. It took them 8 months before they even looked at it.After I dropped it off: 1) their location had a fire, 2) my computer got put in the recycle bin, 3) their staff said they were replacing the battery - but they didnt - and 4) the staff member I was dealing with left.When the new staff finally looked at my computer, they said my motherboard had liquid damage causing a short that couldnt be repaired. Would highly recommend people stay away. I brought my Google Pixel 2 XL for a repair on the back glass, but after they replaced the shell my speakers would no longer sustain any volume, and my screen began showing permanent pink lines stretching across the top and bottom. I brought it back, and they couldnt fix it and told me to go to another branch with the right parts. After that, that branch replaced the screen but still couldnt fix the speaker issue. The screen issue came back, and so essentially I paid money for them to break my phone even more! They eventually resulted in telling me to go straight to Google to ask for a complete replacement, and wouldnt even kick that process off for me.Seriously? I get its a new device but you shouldnt be charging people to get the main manufacturer to replace it. Guys... I fell and cracked my phone screen, I was heartbroken. I went to Ubreakifix to see if they could help me. Great experience, went in after work and was nervous that I wouldnt have enough time to get my phone fixed in time since it was already 6PM. My charger port on my iphone 5 had been working off and on for a few weeks and I assumed it was broken. They told me it could be done in half an hour. When I returned they notified me that it was just filled with lint and all they had to do was give it a good cleaning. They could have not said anything and charged me full but instead I walked out without paying a cent. They replaced my Nexus 5 battery for $50 and gave a 90 day warranty. I had to put down a $20 deposit in order for them to order the battery. They received it within 5 days and then I dropped the phone off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. The place is very clean inside and the staff is courteous.

I was about to leave on a flight 2 days later when the back of my phone, Pixel 3xl, was coming unglued. I brought it in and it was the battery swelling! Glad I didnt try to get on a plane with it! This MdR location was out of these batteries. I called around and no other repair store on the west side had them except their other ubreakifix store in Culver city. That store was booked up for the day though. So next day the technicians here drove to pick up the battery from Culver city and install immediately in my phone in MdR. No extra charge and wouldnt accept a tip! I was able to fly out that night with my phone working, and a fresh new battery with all that sweet new battery charge.

Place is neat but Way too expensive to fix my hinge on my Samsung Galaxy Fold 2! They didnt even inspect my phone whats needed to be repaired and gave me an estimate of $600!!! Ridiculous!!!! Terrible place to go to based on my experience.Her Samsung S10e is having problems with moisture in the charging port.Me & my girl called 3 of these already & every single one gave different answers.First off I was reffered to this place by Samsung to bring in my phone to be fixed, I called one location in Hawthorne, they say they dont have the part in stock for my samsung s10 so they tell me to come down to Marina del Rey where they have the parts. We call this one to bring it in before we get there one person tells us that they do not partner with samsung so wed have to pay up front, though we were told by the Hawthorne store that they do accept warranty repairs from samsung. We decide to still head down there.When we get there another associate says the diagnostic machine for samsung isnt working & they couldnt diagnose the problem with the phone that the servers were down. He also says its most likely a motherboard problem & that they do not have the parts, that it can take up to two weeks, then proceeds to increase it to 3 weeks & even to a month after I give them the phone.Then we call another location same uBreakiFix, they say they cannot diagnose a problem of water in the charging port because thats not a problem the diagnostic machine can detect & apparently its a problem they cannot fix that the phone had to be sent into Samsung themselves.All the 3 locations provided different answers, all of them went against what another store said. To me it sounds like they dont know what theyre talking about or they simply dont want to work on my phone.

Bad in store experience. Went in to have my phone looked at due to a battery issue (phone is only 2 years old). I asked if they could test my phone that see if the battery was just bad or if there was some defect/issue with the phone. They told me it needed a new battery (based on what I told them) and refused to even check or run a diagnostic even though I asked 4 times. Was told phones needed new batteries every 2 years or so which I know is not true. The rep began speaking in a condescending tone and then told me they would replace the battery and that they are no responsible for any damage done to the phone and that if the screen breaks during repair its on me. They still havent even touched the phone and then the rep tries to sell me a new battery and a new screen on the spot! Never going here again and others should beware! You might go in for a simple repair and theyll try to sell you half a new phone.

What a great experience! My Pixel 3 started bootlooping, but once it had fully died, it seemed to be behaving ok. After several unhelpful chats with Google Support, eventually Tier 2 support suggested that I bring the phone to ubreakifix, an authorized Google repair partner. I explained the situation to Mario, who was very helpful in explaining the diagnostic process that they would use to determine if the phone was failing in a way that should be covered by the warranty (since the phone is < 1 year old). As promised, Mario called me a few hours later to confirm that the phone was irreparable, so I could send it back to Google and be sure that it would be considered a failed device under warranty (barring that, Google would happily charge me full price -- $950 -- for the refurbished replacement they had sent me).5 stars, would take future devices here for diagnostics or repair!

Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy s20 Ultra my rear glass is cracked but I was trying to figure out if I also have water damage on my phone. There is no moisture in the screen and the phone works perfectly fine. But Is there a moisture detector within the SIM card tray? Whenever I looked in the Sim slot I didnt see any white Mark or anything it was just completely black/darkness inside. Im hoping that means that my phone is in compromised by water if I dont see any red!

I took my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 to the good people at UBreakIFix MDR to replace a cracked screen and a replacement motherboard. I was told by another store that I was going to lose all data. However, Rafael at UBreakIFix told me he was going to figure out a way to salvage my data from the old board. And lo and behold - HE DID IT! I would not recommend. The screen on my iphone was cracked, and after 2 times replacement, uBreakiFix says its a software issue that makes the touch screen useless. It freezes so touch cannot be used... it wasnt that way with the broken screen, so unless they reprogrammed it, the replacement screen is the issue. I heard Apple is notorious for making these things a problem if you dont use genuine Apple parts and service. Im taking it to iPhone store now and shame on me.. paying a 3rd time.
