This is a LONG OVERDUE review. We could write a novel about Ashley, her talent, her warm, genuine personality and how wonderful she is to work with, so Ill do my best to make this short!My husband initially worked with her for a very important job in 2019 - the day he planned to propose. She made what is usually a stressful (but exciting) experience on the groom all the more enjoyable, went out of her way to help arrange everything so the moment was perfect, was on-time waiting at the location, coordinated with other vendors (picked up florals, etc) and of course, snapped the best shots of what is truly one of lifes sweetest (and biggest!) moments. We look back on that day with pure joy and the best part is, now we have all of the photos to cherish and take us back to that very moment - forever!Fast forward to planning our wedding a few months later, and there was no question in our minds when it came to discussing our photography/video needs - we already knew that Ashley was the perfect person for the big job and truly wanted her to be part of the next special moment in our lives! As if wedding planning isnt stressful enough, we also navigated it throughout the pandemic. We initially hired Ashley for our first wedding which was in our home state and coordinated a package to fit our needs at that time. But, as the months went on and things became more uncertain, we had a change of heart and ended up putting our planning on pause indefinitely. Ashley was there every step of the way with grace, patience and care, letting us know she would do her absolute best to work with us to re-scope our needs when and if we were ready to do so.We eventually pulled a wild card and decided on a destination wedding, which definitely sounded crazy at the time... ha! We were anxious and excited to pick up the conversation and see if Ashley would even be open to taking on the job, knowing it would change a LOT of the initial plans and was kinda a risk at the time. But to no surprise, she worked with us through it all and jumped at the opportunity.I cant express how grateful we were to have Ashley and her husband, Caleb, there with us for our wedding week in Italy. It was so comforting to know we had our photo/video needs in the BEST hands and didnt have to worry about language barriers or the quality of the work, when we would receive photos, etc. Ashley also managed the family dynamics that sometimes come with weddings with the utmost professionalism and ensured everyone was comfortable. She made the entire experience fun for everyone. Our bridal party/guests even noticed the quality of her work and attention to detail throughout the week and in our beautiful photos and wedding film.Needless to say, Ashley is full of fresh ideas, honest with her clients, responsive and has such a gift - its clear that she loves what she does! If youre looking for magazine-worthy, beautiful, timeless photography and cinematography that naturally captures the moments youll cherish forever - look no further. I would recommend Ashley and her team a million times over to anyone in the central coast and beyond for their photo/video needs. She goes above and beyond for her clients. You wont be disappointed!

This review is so long overdue! We booked Ashley for our engagement photos and wedding in Nov 2020.Prior to booking Ashley, we inquired with so many photographers and went through albums of their work. When we came across Ashley’s work, I knew I wanted to book her because of her beautiful film photography and her editing skills. In addition to film photography, she also took digital photos. It was also clear she had a great sense of the different things that can come together to make a photo great. Ashley was also super responsive, something I quickly valued in the midst of wedding planning. I knew Ashley was the total package for us and am so glad we hired her!When the pandemic hit, my wedding plans were turned upside down. Ashley worked closely with us to make everything work and we were still able to have a small intimate wedding. She and her amazing assistant captured moments I will cherish forever. I’m so thankful to have found her. If you are looking for a photographer, book her and you won’t regret it!

Ashley is amazing. Truly amazing. My husband I first met her at our Wedding venue when we were touring the space and she happened to be there photographing an engagement for another couple. We hit it off right away and her follow up from that first meeting was on point. We then were able to get to know her more as she took our engagement photos which happened to be one of the coldest days in Paso Robles ever but she made it fun and it helped keep our mind off how cold it was. Then for our wedding she was the first ones there (with her team who were amazing too) and she photographed every single detail that I had listed in her pre-wedding photo questionnaire, and then some. Her talent is does not go un-noticed the memories that my husband and I now have are captured in the photos that well cherish forever. I highly, highly recommend Ashley!

Ashley and her team are SO AMAZING! We got married in May and took our engagement photos last year with her as well. She did both photography and cinematography at our wedding. Ashley has an amazing eye for seeing and including details in her photos. She knows how to make everything look so beautiful and magical. Our video seriously looks like it was from the movie theaters. She does both film shots and digital shots and makes them both look so dreamy! Her work is such a high quality and she provides an amazing customer experience. Ashley and everyone on her team were not only so professional, but also so kind and helpful! I was feeling sick on my wedding day and her team went above and beyond to to help me feel better! All of my family and friends were blown away with how beautiful the photos turned out! Everyone at my wedding loved the team! When you book with Ashley, you get such an outstanding experience and the most beautiful pictures and/or video memories captured. I am so grateful that I booked her for our wedding and wouldn’t have it any other way! You really should book her! :)

Ashley is one of the most talented photographers I have had the pleasure of working with in my decade in the wedding industry! Ive gotten to work with Ashley on several weddings and I have hired her to photography my custom wedding invitations. Capturing flat lay photographs is a challenge and Ashley makes it look easy! She has a beautiful, artistic style and creates flat lays that are lush, full, crisp, and interesting. You can tell she is passionate about her work and nailing each shot. If I were getting married, Ashley would be my top choice!

This review is long overdue, mostly because I couldnt put into words how grateful I am for Ashley and Caleb. I am a luxury wedding planner based in Orange County, California, and I have worked with hundreds of incredible photographers and videographers. I was absolutely blown away by the artistry of Ashley Rae Studios work. With very little direction, they were able to capture the details of my wedding day more beautifully than Ive EVER seen, and also had an eye for jaw-dropping shots that were truly magical. I frequently show other photographers my wedding photos, and all of them are in awe at the artistry. The way Ashley was able to capture the light and the special moments (often on film even!!) is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. Style Me Pretty, a well known wedding blog, instantly recognized their incredible work and featured our wedding on their front page! If that isnt a testament to how amazing they are, I dont know what is.Besides providing top notch products in photos and videos, they are the sweetest couple and my husband and I instantly connected with them. On the wedding day, their team kept me feeling at ease (a feat in itself!). They followed our timeline and ensured that all of my requests were met. While this seems like an easy task, it is something not all photographers and videographers excel at.We really dont know what we did to deserve meeting Ashley and Caleb, but we will be forever grateful to them for all they did to preserve the incredible feeling of our wedding day. Ashley Rae is by far the best in the business. Her associate Paola is fabulous as well. They captured our engagement and wedding photos beautifully and we felt comfortable with them immediately.The way Ashley edits her photos is light, clean and timeless. I did not find any other photographer that compared. Worth every penny!

Working with Ashley and her team was such a great experience. Ashley is responsive, listens to your needs and takes the time to understand what is important to you when it comes to photography. We had many different photo combinations to get through on our wedding day and her team made sure we moved along quickly and kept us on time to ensure we got all of the photos we wanted. I had the incredible privilege of attending one of Ashley’s photography workshops this past week. Everything about it was amazing. It was professional, but also fun, and you can tell how much Ashley and her team care about what they do! I was impressed by the sincerity behind their business, and the quality that they provide to their clients.
