My son and I had an extremely disappointing experience at ASD Scuba Diving School. We enrolled him in their beginner scuba diving course, expecting a professional and organized learning environment. However, our experience was anything but that.After paying a total of $439 in tuition fees and over $1300 for equipment, the level of service we received dropped dramatically. We found ourselves constantly having to chase after them for the four pool sessions included in the course. There was a complete lack of course scheduling and effective communication.The management of the school seemed chaotic, with no clear procedures or organization in place. It felt like their sole focus was on collecting money, rather than providing a high-quality learning experience. Additionally, they never informed us about scheduled open water dives, and it took weeks of reminders and attempts at communication to receive a response to our inquiries.Due to these issues, we made the difficult decision to withdraw from the course. They did not refund our fees, and our overall experience was so poor that we have no intention of returning or recommending ASD Scuba Diving School to anyone else.In summary, if youre seeking a reliable and professional scuba diving school, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Great SCUBA DIVING experience with JJ, Rita and D. They help me got my open water certification. I highly recommend this awesome place. They didnt mind to staying late to answer my questions and were excellent at illustrating all the skills. They are the best!

The coach is a really nice person. He sometimes could be very strict because he wants everybody to enjoy their diving experience. He build up the skills how to work as a group and how to cooperate with your diving partner. This is a quite important skill for everybody in their life. 🌈 This time, I really encountered the treasure diving hall! Ive always wanted to try diving before, but never got around to it! This time I came to LA and found this diving center. It is really fragrant!🌟 The coaches know a lot of things, all kinds of skills, although the hippie smiles on the shore, however real stick in the water🌟 Every time I come up, they will help do the review including wrong stuff and good stuff and the review is very detailed!🌟 The pool is very clean and there are very few people. There are only two people in my class🌟 The water is so warm that I cant get out of the water, its always 30 degrees, even in the morning🌟Even if you get the certificate, you can still practice, there is always coach guidance🌟 The equipment will be recommended by the coach, but it will not be forced to sell. Overall, it is very comfortable, but I cant help but buy good equipment. Of course, it is ok not to buy, you can still rent them, it is not expensive.❤️ All in all, love Rita and JJ! If the you are in Los Angeles are interested, you can really try it and find out! Freediving is really cool (I dont mean to look down on scuba)! Im new to scuba diving!

I remember the first lesson of the pool lesson, you couldnt complete the action underwater. With the patient guidance of coach JJ Lau, the second lesson successfully completed all the instructions and actions underwater.In the course of open water, the first dive of the island was very nervous and unsuitable. When the shore was resting, the coach was very patient to guide and explain. After the rest, the second dive was very smooth, and it was no longer nervous under the water., Successfully completed the first course of open water.Then, I participated in two consecutive open-water diving courses. Under the guidance of the instructor, both dives in the first lesson were very smooth, well grasped, and I also enjoyed the underwater scenery; I remember yesterday in the second lesson. Not only can I dive smoothly, but I can also help the coach guide the new students to participate in the first dive open water course. When the water is ready to dive, instruct the new students how to reduce the tension of the first dive, so that they can dive smoothly Underwater also led designated new students to successfully complete underwater task courses.

They just try to get money from you by joining their program and their scuba trip but do not give any service to you. You must regard if you join their program. You dont want a school that teaches you diving as one teacher facing like 20+ students. He cannot pick up your mistake but only can watch you.I am pretty sure they will say I am a competitor trying to slander them. People who see this can check the comment on google. If we give 1/2 star to this school, they will come out and say we are a competitor trying to slander them even we are telling the truth.

I had my Advanced Open Water Divers course with ASD back in September this year.I was skeptical at first with this dive shop, because its so new, and its taught by a Chinese instructor.But as the course progresses, I learnt that my instructor, JJ, has been diving for more than 15 years, and with more than 10 years of teaching scuba around the world. It really shows his expertise during my advanced training.He gave me more confident to take on higher training in SCUBA, and one day become a Dive Master.

This is a great dive shop. The instructor JJ is friendly and teaches every student with great patience. If you are serious about learning scuba diving, I recommend you going in to talk to him.
