I have lived in Palo Alto for 35 years and have tried various frame shops in the area. I will no longer be trying out frame shops. Hands down, this will be my frame shop in the future. I went in with some ideas of what I wanted but Paolo gave me some wonderful suggestions and my project turned out even better than I had envisioned. Dont think twice, go to Paolo.

We needed 1 painting to be mounted, 1 to be framed. Superb work on both our paintings. Very friendly consultation - Paolo gave us the options we should consider, gave us all the pros and cons. Quality of framing was flawless and pricing was reasonable.

I needed personal art work framed and have no clue about what kind of frame to get. Paolo was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable about the entire experience. Prices are VERY reasonable and was ultimately happy with the purchase. Will come back here for my future framing needs!

Paolo did a great job framing a leather vest for a friends memorial with a very short turn around time. He also helped add more items to it once the event was done and we had more time to work on it.

Although not always open, they take very good care of your art work and are respectful of you as a person. I did a second canvas stretching and it was as beautiful as the first. It may take a bit of time but the result is excellent.

Overall 10/10. Excellent work. I brought a painting that I had brought with me from Spain. Paolo helped me picked the right colors and style for the frame. Respecting my original plan and ideas, it was a great experience. He offered to fix some painting that had been scraped out. I can’t notice where the problem was :).Thanks Paolo! :)

We have been so happy with the quality of Paolos work. Paolo has framed 3 fine art prints for us, including a large one over 3ft tall, and they have all turned out exactly as desired and in archival quality. We recommend his work and will be back.

If you want personalized service and archival quality, this is the place to go! A few years ago I had a small watercolor framed here. So when I returned with a larger painting, I knew I wanted anti-reflective glass again. Paolo suggested non-glare acrylic because of the size, and Im so grateful. I hadnt considered the weight difference. Its this kind of knowledge from years of experience that his clientele appreciates.

Paolo is fantastic. The customer service is great, and you always feel welcomed. I did several frame works with Art Frame Studio and each one exceeded my expectations.Definitely will be going back to frame my diploma and my brothers as well.

The workmanship on the frame was really nice, but Paolo felt entitled to display the painting in the shop window without asking for permission. The painting was a portrait of my grandmother by a friend of hers, so I feel sentimental about it, and it was never intended as a show piece. After noticing it on display as I was walking down Castro St in the evening, I emailed Paolo to ask to remove it from the window. He replied he could not while the shop was closed. When I picked it up two days later at mid-day, on the next day the shop was open, it was still in the window; Paolo had forgotten to take it down. It seemed inconsiderate.If youd like a free exhibit of the art along with framing, this is a good spot.

Art Frame Studio was originally recommended to me by an artist friend. Over the last several years, I’ve asked Paolo to frame several original pieces from pencil drawings to Asian calligraphy. I rely on Paolo for suggestions on how to express the pieces fully and the results have always exceed my expectations. Paolo and Art Frame Studio are tops all around: excellent service, top-level craftsmanship, and superb artistic sense. I recommend this shop to everyone without hesitation.

I came to Art Frame Studio to have a product framed for my company. Everything about the experience was so great! The studio helped me pick out the best frame, matte board, glass, etc options. The turnaround time was very reasonable, and they also went above and helped get a plaque made for the display. Thank you Art Frame Studio for your service, it is very much appreciated !

Lovely people, excellent work, reasonable price. Stop in to look at the beautiful art on the walls. Exceptional treatment in framing pet photos. Full archival framing available, UV glass, etc. They know their business, care about their customers. Ask to see the Fade test and youll see why UV glass is worth the price. Highly recommended.

Went in with a custom framing request, Paolo was able to do it exactly how I wanted it and in a timely manner, and the price was reasonable. No complains, and I would gladly return if I have another item I want to custom frame.

Had a wedding collage framed here, roughly 20 x 30 in size. Came out fantastic! The original frame we chose turned out to be a bit expensive, but they helped me identify one that looked pretty similar and was closer to the price point we were hoping for. Took about 2 weeks from the time we dropped it off to the time it was ready, and the result looks beautiful!

Shop owner was super friendly and nice! Service was the best Ive experienced in the Bay area! The owner not only gave me a lower than market rate price (Ive compared prices across 4 other shops nearby) and promised to be done the next day. Definitely recommend for anyone whos looking for custom framing for a great value deal and impaccable service!

Pricey, but very friendly and very helpful owner, and does great work. Also a large choice of frames and glass/plastic. He put over a dozen very large posters into frames that I brought to the store, and replaced some cracked glass.

These guys are fantastic. Theyve framed everything for us, including lots of really strange hard-to-frame things, (e.g. large computer parts, giant tie-dyed tapestries, carved woodblocks, and regular stuff too). Its always sensational. Best framers. Period.
