I cant say enough about working with Daryn! I was in a situation where I needed to find a home in a rather short period of time. Since this was my first time buying a home, there was a lot for me to learn and a lot of work for me to do in order to qualify for a loan. Daryn is a Godsend! There were many times I felt overwhelmed and defeated but Daryn has a magical way of turning those feelings around and after a few minutes of talking to him, at any time during the process, I was motivated to get it done! Daryn has a calm and soothing voice that put my nerves at ease; he never judged or made me feel foolish for some of the bad decisions I had made prior to us working together. Above all else Daryn made me, and everything I was doing, feel important! He motivated me to get things done and, before I knew it, I was signing papers and getting keys to my new home! But he didnt stop there! We have a plan to keep me on a path to remain a successful homeowner and he provides useful tools so there is no guessing on my part! I have no doubt that Daryn has my best interest at heart and I know I can reach out to him at any time if I have any questions. Daryn Fillis was recommended by our realtor and was a huge help figuring out our mortgage finances as we transitioned from TX to CA. He answered our questions promptly and offered solutions we hadnt even thought about. We ended up doing a VA assumable, so couldnt use Daryns services, but that did not stop him from helping us anyway. He stayed in touch and remained our back-up plan in case things went sour during the long VA assumable process. I highly recommend Daryn for your financial needs. Hes very knowledgable in mortgage financing and goes above and beyond to offer excellent service.

Daryn Fillis and his team secured a complex reverse 1031 exchange for us, enabling us to purchase a vacation home when our cash reserves were suboptimal. Daryn mediated the process communicating with the realtors, escrow, lenders and the 1031 exchange crew and kept us abreast of the options and the process every step of the way. We also purchased an adjacent vacant lot which led to some insurance complexities that Daryn steered us through. The personal touch, the guidance and the financial advice we received along the way dramatically reduced our stress level! We had already been preapproved with another experienced broker who came recommended to us when we met Daryn. During our 10 day loan contingency, the interest rate we received was higher than expected and the conversation we had with the other broker did not sit well with us. While we are financially literate and familiar with the mortgage process in Canada, US works a little differently. We reached out to Daryn as a sanity check. He did an incredible job educating us throughout the process and was able to get us a much better rate (more than half a basis point) with the same lender. We made a last minute switch to Daryn, which made our agent slightly nervous, but he pulled through and had financing arranged with time to spare. Our agent complimented his professionalism and responsiveness. I highly recommend him and Arrive Home Lending to anyone who values transparency, trust and relationships.

I have been through my share of refinances and no experience was better than working with Daryn. From the very first point of contact to exchanges well after the closing process was completed, he was always there to guide me and share his wealth of knowledge on finances in general. Daryn communicated all stages of the refinance promptly and clearly, so I was never confused about what to expect. He was also very quick to unblock any obstacles that popped up. I felt secure and safe with my refinance in his hands.One thing I appreciated the most about Daryn is how incredibly thorough and transparent he was from beginning to end. As an example, he helped me objectively break down the different loan options that he offered, and also helped me compare those with the best competing offer I had from a different lender. He treated each offer with equal respect and helped me understand under which circumstances they would benefit me the most (even the one from the other lender). Matt and Daryn are amazing at what they do. Theyre honest, straightforward, and will work hard for you. Matt called me on a Friday evening to let me know that rates had momentarily dropped super low, and it was a great time to lock in and start the refinance process. He was right — no one else I spoke with the following Monday was able to get within half a point. He saved me THOUSANDS with that phone call. They have their clients best interest at heart, which is a welcome change from other mortgage brokers Ive worked with over the years. I usually don’t take the time to write a review unless there was something outstanding about a service or product.I was in the market for a home loan and was working with Rocket but was told to get a second quote and my brother-in-law recommended to call Daryn at Arrive. Not only was their rate substantially lower but they handheld me through the entire process. On an apples-to-apples comparison, my savings over the 30yr loan will be over US$75k. What I loved about Arrive is that they educated me on every aspect of the loan process. I am a few days away from closing on a second loan through Arrive for an investment property and wouldn’t think of going elsewhere for any additional funding needs. Daryn was always available and the processing team there too was exceptional in assisting me to get all necessary documents. I can’t say enough about them. If you are in the market for a loan, at least give them an opportunity to quote and if the rate makes sense then hands down you should work with them!!!

Matt Lee and the team at ARRIVE are true professionals. Matt coached me the entire way along the journey and in the end didn’t even get my business. He completely deserved it, however due to a low appraisal we had to look at alternative options and I ended up with a better option with my bank. Matt told me I should take that option. Its hard to believe just how helpful the team at Arrive has been in helping us with our new home purchase. From their financial consultation to prepare us for a purchase, to getting us pre-approved and eventually into a new home.
