I have had such good service here and everyone is really friendly. Not only that but they are always able to squeeze me in if it’s really important. I feel taken care of. They put the patients comfort first. I feel safe going here and only have good things to say. Once I chipped my tooth and he was able to fix it super quickly and even gave me a warm towel at the end. Love this place! 🦷🪥

Everyone at Aptos Dental Care is pleasant to work with and they work to accommodate you the best they can.I have been to dentist offices where I felt a salesperson was talking to me rather than a caring dentist with my well-being in mind. All of my appointments at Aptos Dental are wonderful! Dr Perkins is very thorough and explains everything in detail and he has the most state of the art modern equipment which makes appointments much easier. He is very pleasant, kind and knowledgeable and explains everything in detail. All of his staff is fabulous also, they do everything to accommodate their patients. This last cleaning was extremely rough and painful, more so than I’ve ever had but it was my fault for waiting too long. In the future I need more slight breaks because of my TMJ.Thank you,Gail WagnerHappy Patient!!

Very glad to have found Dr. Perkins and his able staff.The unassuming office, once inside, reveals a great staff and rooms full of the latest equipment and software.Update: My latest visit was excellent.The assistant I had was experienced but new to the office, so she was excited to learn about the scanning equipment the Doctor used. He created a 3D image of my mouth to send to the folks who will make a crown for me. The assistant said not many regular dentists had this technology.Because we were replacing an old crown there was extensive prep work involved in saving the old tooth underneath. Today, one day later, there is no need for pain meds at all. Amazing! Everyone at the office was both friendly and professional.I am 77 years old and have had dentists all over the country and overseas as well, and this little office is the best I have found.

They went above and beyond. Dr Perkins and his staff are friendly and personable. He didn’t rush out to see his next patient like most dentists do. He explained my X-rays (and CT- I have never had a CT taken at a dentist office), and best yet he said I didn’t need anything done… I trust him.

This was my first time at Dr. Perkins office; what a pleasant surprise! The front office staff are really outstanding. Thanks to them, my previous dental records were transferred successfully, despite lagging efforts on that dental offices part. All costs were explained to me clearly and thoroughly. I felt welcomed.Dr. Perkins is friendly & personable and answered all my questions. I was very comfortable in his care. He is knowledgeable and answered my many questions.Parking can be difficult, and the staff was very helpful in explaining that fully and suggesting options. I am more than satisfied!

My teeth were cleaned really well under the circumstances. I have ALS so I have a horrible swallowing problem. My cleaning started with Jeff watching and 2 people working on my teeth. Jeff left after they started just to make sure I did not have to swallow anything. I had a few problems during cleaning and they were handled amazingly well. They did a wonderful job and I will be back again in 4 months.

I was so grateful to Dr. Perkins office for getting me into the clinic on an emergency basis when I developed severe tooth pain. I was treated for an abscess with prompt referral to an Endodontist and felt better the next day after taking the antibiotics prescribed. Thank you so much!

I am so thankful for this practice! Everyone is kind and helpful from the moment we walked into the door. Dr. Perkins is compassionate and even called to follow up after a particularly hard visit. I appreciated him taking the time to address my unspoken concerns and reassure me.The patient I was bringing to him needed extensive dental work and he, generously took on them on. Today she told me that she could never remember a time that she had lived without tooth pain, and while she felt sore, from the latest extraction, she was healing and she had never had her mouth feel that good in any of her memories.The entire office felt safe and welcoming and judgement free. She met Dr. Perkins and knew that he was the one for the surgery. She was put on a cancellation list due to her travel schedule and his office managed to get her in and get the job done, painlessly. he is definitely worth the wait to get in for an appointment for any dental problems. I have been with Dr. Perkins for over 14 years. I cannot imagine anyone else working on my teeth. Yesterday, 4/28/20 I had a tooth that needed immediate attention and Dr. Perkins was able to see me. They took the utmost precautions during this trying time of the pandemic. Over the years, there has been some turn over in staff, however each and every member of the team has been fantastic. They all are and have been extremely knowledgeable and caring. I truly appreciate their attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness.

I love this office! All of the girls are incredible & lovely. They all make me feel so welcomed when I come in. It’s like walking into Cheers where everybody knows my name.Lynnet is my dental hygienist now and she does the most thorough cleaning I’ve ever had in my life. I actually have never had a cleaning like she does to me now. My old dentist used to do my cleanings and they were fast. Speed does not make for a thorough cleaning. I didn’t know.Lynnet was gentle and caring. I was so comfortable I almost fell asleep. Before my cleaning I had a consult with Dr. Perkins and I was immediately at ease with his demeanor and humor. His examination was detailed and made perfect sense. Lucky for me, I did not need a lot of work done but he gave me the option of getting rid of the old mercury filling they used to use a lot in the 80’s. The equipment he has made this procedure safe for all of us. That old mercury stuff is toxic. I’m so happy to have it gone. My teeth look so much better and are going to last forever now!

Had a tooth ache, went to see Dr Perkins and he had me out of pain and my problem gone in 30 mins, no judgements. He also is one of the most nicest dentists I’ve ever met.The front desk and schedule administrator, Jeanette is so nice and empathetic, they have tons of modern 3D dental technology for making crowns in one visit, with no mouth goop, they also use text messages to communicate, making it very easy to confirm and remember my appts.My son and I are loyal patients! Dr. Perkins office is professional while at the same time being personable. There is never a wait and the office has done a great reopening during the pandemic and keeping patient safety top of mind. Dr Perkins provides all dental care options and allows patients to choose what works best for them with no pressure. I am so impressed with Dr. Perkins and his knowledgeable staff. They were able to fit me in last minute for a consultation and same day cleaning. During the consolation, I was walked through the 3D images of my teeth, jaw, and skull. It was nice to have a dentist be so thorough and go through in detail why he looks at certain areas and sinuses in the skull and jaw. It was a great! When it came to the cleaning, Ana was very friendly and professional, my teeth felt and looked great afterward. I have very sensitive teeth, so much so that I cant even drink cold water. They were very accommodating and did everything in their power to ensure I was comfortable. In addition to the cleaning and consultation, Dr. Perkins fit me in that same afternoon to seal my teeth! If youre looking for an honest, reliable dentist, whom you can trust with even the most delicate of work, and one who makes you feel at home and cared for while in the chair, look no further than Dr Jeff Perkins.Dr Perkins is simply fantastic! I have notoriously horrible dental hygiene, and have needed a number of complicated and very difficult issues that have required the utmost care and precision on. Dr Perkins has more than accomplished all of the tasks Ive set before him, and his work is some of the best Ive even had performed on me.I spent years going to dentist after dentist, and was never able to find one whom could stand up to my high level of scrutiny, but when I found Dr Perkins, I knew he was the dentist for me. He is smart and extremely knowledgeable, he cares about his patients well being (both medically and financially), he is always willing to talk about what hes doing so that Im aware of everything going on, and I honestly feel that he has my best interests at heart. His staff is also very nice and efficient, and take their jobs seriously. They have developed a very personal relationship with me to the point I KNOW I can count on them to help with any logistical issues, and as even the best dentist is only as good as his staff, the high quality of the staff only further enhances Dr Perkins services.

What a great experience! I absolutely fear going to the dentist and I recently had a seriously awful experience at Western Dental in Salinas, I mean BAD! Dr Perkins and his staff were great, he went over my diagnosis, x-rays and completed a new exam letting me know what was really going on. He gave me a printout of exactly what he recommended, pricing and the things that would be priority to take care. He was compassionate friendly and truly upset how I was treated at Western Dental.. Even though we moved to Sunnyvale in 2017, there’s no way I’m going anywhere else for my dental care needs. Dr. Perkins and the entire staff are an exceptional bunch of dental care providers. I’ve lost track of how many times Jannette at the front desk has went above and beyond to work with me and my difficult teacher schedule to fit me in for an appointment. Outstanding experience! Had a dental emergency and they made room for me to be seen. They were sensitive about costs and discussed things with me prior to doing them. Everyone in the office is very nice. The rooms are relaxing. It’s clean and bright in patient rooms.Dr. Perkins offered to run my broken bridge over to the office after work so it’d be ready the next day and I wouldn’t have to be without it and this was with me being there for the 1st time!I couldn’t have been more pleased with my visit.

When making an appointment for my son I informed the receptionists that I did not want to have an X-ray on my son (9 year old) and she told me they wouldnt even give him a cleaning without an X-ray which I found odd and sure it wasnt necessary. I called another dentist more near my home to find out an X-ray was not necessary. I just felt like I was a bother and thats not good customer service.

Jeffs natural and studied skill inspires my confidence. In 2000 and 2001 he replaced 41 years of accumulated amalgam fillings with composites. IHe was able to explain and show me the wisdom in that. I have been grateful for that since and have had no issues with any of that work.Fast forward 12 years; I live in San Diego area and fell into the trap of having economy dental work done in Tijuana. 3 years later, Im haveing issues with that work and knew exactly what to do about it. Came in to get my Crown looked at because it was bothering me.(was put in at Western Dental in Watsonville. :( ) All very friendly, easy to talk to the receptionist and the nurse. Of course Dr. Perkins was also very nice, easy to talk to, and didnt make me feel stupid, like Western Dental had before. Explained that WD had pretty much messed up the crown; they didnt fit it properly and there is a gap for debris and bateria to get in; and I was having a reaction to the metal that may have nickel in it.Explained the replacement of the crown would only take one visit, it wouldny have any metal in it and itll be 3D printed for a almost perfect fit and I wont have to have a temp crown. Im actually a little excited.Also getting three old childhood silver fillings that may crack my teeth, replaced with newer fillings that will match my teeth and not expand when eating or drinking something hot. Also will only take one visit, but separate from the Crown visit.Would highly recommend Dr. Perkins to anyone looking for a friendly, gentle, (and better experience) easy to talk to Dentist.
