Notice how all their reviews are mostly one star or 5. all the 5s are fake. they must be. this company is super shady. I called to cancel, they said okay. I got a service a couple days later, they charged me. I called again and they said they saw that I canceled and theyd give me a refund. I checked a few days later and they actually charged me another $199. I emailed and they said the account isnt closed until the termination fee is paid so they cant refund the last service. total bull

The techs who come to your home are very nice and professional but the rest of the company is a nightmare to deal with. All phone numbers lead to an overseas call center and you can’t get anyone to call you back. My ants have never gone away, despite months of multiple treatments, inside and out. I can’t cancel my contract, can’t get anyone to call me back, can’t get rid of the bugs… this company is awful.

Not really pleased with the first visit. Tech was very nice and explained everything he was going to do. He got done and left, I went out to look at what he had done and noticed a great deal of cobwebs still around the house and that was one of the things he had stated he was gonna remove before he got started.

Mitch was very nice, informative and helpful. He covered all the necessary spots for spraying and was very gracious when I mentioned some complaints I had about scheduling. ( I’m rarely scheduled on the Fridays I’ve requested.) Mitch also got a quick answer for me from his corporate office . It was a pleasure to interact with him. SUCH A SLIMY COMPANY. DOOR TO DOOR SALESMAN GOT ME TO SIGN UP UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES HE EXPLAINED AND I AGREED TO. THE CONTRACT WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN WHAT WE AGREED. BAD ON ME FOR NOT READING THE MULTIPAGES OF FINE PRINT. I CALLED TO CANCEL AND ONE POINT- THEY SAID FINE. A TECH CAME A DAY OR TWO LATER AND SPRAYED MY HOUSE. I CALLED AGAIN AND THEY SAID, I SEE YOU CANCELED SO WELL REFUND THE LAST SERVICE. THE DID NOT. THEY CHARGED ME ANOTHER $200!! IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A REFUND BUT NOW THEY SAY MY ACCOUNT WAS ONLY CLOSED WHEN THE $200 WAS PAID SO THE PRIOR SERVICE IS NOT REFUNDABLE. NO ONE ON THE PHONE TOLD ME THAT. SUPER SHADY COMPANY. Since I made a contract with Aptive Environmental and the great staff, Breelle, Gavin, and now Kevin, they’ve been very courteous and profesional. They’ve explained the process of how their company works and how caring they are about the environment, as well as protecting our butterflies and bees while exterminating the unwanted pests and insects around our home. Kevin was very polite and informative. They made sure to the perimeter of my property was clear of any cob webs or nests before spraying the boundary with pesticide. Aptive has always had great communication with their customers, and when I have had to re-schedule in the past I was not charged for the scheduled service, and received immediate contact to schedule a better date.

I found a local company and suggest you look for the same. Better service and more considerate of your time.1) I paid extra for the rodent control which didn’t work at all. I had to find another company to perform the service.2) Scheduling appts -a)when they miss appts they send you a message stating that you they were unable to service your home because no one was avail.b) when rescheduling appointments that they miss, they ask you for a 4 hour window and are not flexible.c) communication issues -They were going to do a free of charge service but ended up charging me for it. I had to call customer service to get it adjusted.

I have been with Aptive Environmental for 5 year now. Initially, I was happy with the service. They changed the way they do business, scheduling one day before the service and not giving me the option to reschedule online, not coming on time and scheduling 6 times a year when it was 4 times before (to make more money of course) and their products are also changed as even with more visits, I still see ants, spiders .....Today would probably be my last day with them. Just to clarify if someone from Aptive ever reads these reviews, this negative review has nothing to do with the gentleman who served us today, he was excellent. This review is about Aptive forced scheduling and actual products used!

Aptive has been nothing but a positive experience! I give Brandon particularly a 5-star service. He put extra time, attention & care into treating our area around our home. He educated me & was professional & courteous. Aptive texts you of when they’re coming in advance & again on the day of service by the Tech. I appreciate the heads up text message a day or two prior to the scheduled visit and then the day of I get text prior to the visit so I know the scheduled arrival time. I can always give feedback and get responded to right away. They are great and all the people who come out are always so pleasant, prompt, and courteous. I have worked with Aptive for several years and highly recommend them. Ants used to be the biggest problem but now I hardly ever see ants get in. Spider visitors way down as well, thank goodness! After our treatment of our property, many many pesticide granules were left on our driveway and sidewalk. We then tracked it in the house. We then figured it out what it was, and had to sweep and vacuum our house and blow the cement surrounding our house. A week after treatment I found this guy on the wall. I started using Aptive 2 to 3 years ago because they were in our neighborhood and they had a really good start up deal as well as a very comparable rate for every three month treatment. I never take on business or buy from people who come to my door. I usually just don’t trust them. That was probably obvious because they showed me everything they were going to do and proved to me it was on the up and up. After my first treatment I was once again able to use my patio and do my gardening without the worry of spiders dropping on my head. They always show up and always let you know when they’re coming. They remind you of your appointment. And they are always always very professional and friendly. The reps who service our house text when they are near and ask if there was anything special needed. Just very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Aptive! They don’t use hard sell tactics and openly answer all questions! Great value as well

This company provides the personal touch by allowing me to review issues each visit, as things change over time. I can also request a redo if for any reason Im still seeing activity a few weeks later. This is usually when we have a lot of rain following an appointment and a lot of insect activity in the area, not because the technician did something wrong. I love having a specific person I can contact with questions or to reschedule. My only negative is that by default appointment are not scheduled for a specific block of time. I need to contact my rep to request a specific block of time.10/27/23 Update:Im still happy with the technicians who do the work. They are professional, listen to my requests, and do a great job treating the affected areasMy same complaint is that scheduling does not default to my requested block of time. The information put in Notes means nothing. The only way to deal with the issue is to have them preschedule my appointments on the days I want and the time block that works best for me. This is a confusion to them, but if you are persistent they eventually figure out what you want and schedule accordingly.01/29/24 Update:The company has been listening to feedback and making adjustments on the website that allow you to see if you scheduled an AM or PM block of time. If you need to reschedule, it is easy to see what days and blocks (AM/PM) are available and make the change.There are periodically issues with the booked block of time not showing correctly for technicians, but this is actively being worked on and corrected.Technicians and there products are still top notch.

I just had service yesterday and did not notice any issues however today I was in the backyard with my grandson and noticed several spiders and many webs! I was surprised as I never had seen them before or as soon after service. Was not very happy about it. If I find more spiders I will expect you guys to come back out.

Not sure how much Ray did on this visit. I was not home and just missed him. He texted that he would be at my home within 5-15 minutes which I appreciated. I took longer than expected, but he arrived about 2:10pm and knocked at my door.As I was not home, he began to spray the front of the house and then went to the back. He was done spraying front and back in about 7 minutes and then he left. Usually they come with a pop pom and take spider webs down. This time and last time he did not do so, so there are spider webs all over the back. Most noticeable on the arbor. Other than spraying, I am not sure what he did.

Today I had my second treatment for spiders and other crawling pest around my home. Both times the technicians were very friendly and thorough. They explained what they would be doing and how. The young man from Aptive who came last week was polite but very soft-spoken and hard to hear. He said he would come back to talk to me after he finished the back yard. I waited about 5-10 minures for my door bell to ring again...but nothing. Interior service was really quick. I didnt follow the person but I believe the living room, dining room, kitchen wasnt treated. My bedroom and bathroom were hopefully. Service inside lasted 2 3 or 4 minutes. I got exterior pictures of service tho.In previous service interior took 10 to 12 minutes going around spraying along every wall interior.

Aptive Representative (Danielle) came on Aug 22 to see if we wanted preventative pest service (for ants, spiders, etc). We said yes and she scheduled us for a visit on the following day. The Aptive Technician (Connor) came out and sprayed our yards. Both representatives were so professional, courteous and informative. They were such a pleasure. I highly recommend this business for anyone wanting to get ahead of ants or other pests from becoming a problem in your home or office. Miguel, the Technician, call ahead and left a voicemail to alert he is on his way. He started cleaning and brushing the cob webs and found a wasps nest over the patio area. He eliminated the nest which was home to about twenty adult wasps and another twenty ready to hatch. Was knowledgeable about this insect and cleaned and treated area. Very happy with work. Stayed for about 45mins and was friendly and respected my property. Yes I would use this Aptiv again.

I met Steven when he was doing door to door and he was very friendly and casual which made the whole thing feel more like a conversation than a sales pitch. After his thorough explanations, I signed up for their services. Got scheduled with Trevor the next day. Trevor showed up on time and explained the contract again and the services he was performing. Again very clear communication and friendly. Both were open to being contacted directly if there were any issues or need for more services. First time in a while I felt comfortable working with professionals without feeling like Im being oversold or just a number. I would highly reccomend Aptive to anyone who needs pest control but doesnt want to deal with outdated sales pitches and fake customer service. These guys are genuine, friendly, and professional.

Great company and great service with every single representative of theirs! The main office calls about one hour before the exterminator arrives and they gave me an estimate for the arrival time. And the exterminator calls or texts when he or she is about 30 minutes away. Then the exterminator arrives on time and the service is done quickly and professionally. On a couple of occasions, I called the office and with a minimum wait time on hold, a professional operator came on the line, and rescheduled to a different time. And on one occasion, I told the exterminator after he had already arrived, that I needed to reschedule and he very kindly said that would be no problem and he would let the front office know. And then the Front office called me several days later and rescheduled to a better time for me, and once again the above notification and arrival process and professional service was done as noted previously. I have been using their services for about 18 months and I will continue to use their services. This is a great company providing a great service which is done in the professional and effective manner. And my standards are exacting because I was in the customer service field for a 30 year career. This is a six star company; perhaps a seven star company on the five star rating system. EXCELLENCE!! And I do not work for them; I just use their service and appreciate their “seven star work”.

The entire team at Aptive is wonderful. It’s easy to make an appointment. They will give you a window between what times they will be arriving, and Juan messaged me about a half hour before to let me know he was on his way which I greatly appreciated. It gave me plenty of time to bring my dogs into the house and prepare for their arrival since the task was to do a general bug/flea, extermination around the exterior of my house . He was very friendly, asked about my concerns, listened patiently, and was very informative. He and his teammate did a great job and were efficient with the tasks. Bryan was very nice, attentive, on time, professional, knowledgeable, and proactive. He knew of our previous issues and left me moth boxes without me even asking for them. He sprayed all parameters of my home without me requesting for specific areas (windows, around the whole home, grass for preventative fleas, shed etc. and also did the awnings for spider webs. We have been with this company for years and have come across less proactive employees. But, we are happy with the service Bryan has performed.

Kevin came out for our routine service. I pointed out a couple places with big spider webs and spiders. He found them and killed them. At the end of the appointment he sent me pictures of him treating around the house. Good job!

Happy with product. In the summer I had an army of ants coming in different paths to the trash can or if a plate wasnt wash. Since using the ants, spider and flies are no more. My only thing is the original cost was a bit over $80. Now its around $110. Seem like a big just without notice. I can not keep up the cost of each visit so I spread them out and it still works.Very good product, wish it was a bit less in cost.

The person who came to spray was polite and respectful, however I am disappointed that I did not receive the Mosquito Trap that I was guaranteed to have by this visit since Aptive didn’t have one my first visit for the initial treatment. The seeking point for me was having that Mosquito Trap, that’s why I elected to pay the extra for mosquito treatment. It’s very upsetting to not have that when I host a lot of events over the summer in my yard and don’t want to be hassled by mosquitoes and was reassured multiple times that I’d have it by this visit.

This company employs kind people, but a lot of times they are not completing their job. Our home is almost always left with spider webs if not spiders. I’ve had them come back a couple times but it takes time out of my day for a large arrival for service window. We have used you guys for a long time but unfortunately might have to look into another company.
