I worked with Yazmin Orozco with the San Bernardino County location. It was a genuine pleasure to work with her as she insisted on helping me. Yazmin encouraged that I keep in contact with her so that we can find a position to for me. For over 3+ months I was searching for employment, with replies from autogenerated responses saying that interview schedules were full or that I would be placed on a waiting list. I decided to try AppleOne and I applied to a job. She was able to help me get hired within 2 weeks of my initial phone call with her. Called Appleone San Bernadino Office to get back into contact with the past recruiter from this office after 3 years, and they were no longer there, but! Grace, as my first point of contact has been very efficient in following up and following through with me during the process. I had no idea that I would be working with such a great company until I was paired with Jazmin! She is so awesome!! I could actually feel her smiling through the phone every time that we talked. My situation was a bit different from most in that I had been previously employed with the San Bernardino County Library in Big Bear Lake through HR Management. The position was only temporary and when I met the hours cap I found myself without a job. I reapplied for the position and after submitting my resume with Apple One I was contacted by Yazmin Orozco within a couple of days. I was already aware that I might be able to return to the BB branch after the Countys mandatory 60 day cooling off period and mentioned that to Yazmin. She explained she would reach out to the managers to confirm my eligibility for rehire. After contacting the regional manager, Yazmin informed me I could absolutely return provided there was an open position, she also explained she wouldnt have much else to offer me job-wise due to my inability to travel off the mountain but she would keep her eye out, and mark it on her calendar to follow up with me after 60 days. I continued my job search during that time, unfortunately without success. Yazmin was as good as her word though, so I was delighted to receive her phone call on day 61, and she sounded equally delighted to be able to offer me the library position. I was happy to meet with Yazmin at the Apple One office, a very nice building and easy to find, for the usual meet and greet, drug screening and signing of documents. Yazmin and Jessica Luva, who did my onboarding were personable and professional and made my experience a positive one. My only complaint is there seemed to be some technical glitch with the Portal through which I needed to submit documents, I left some messages and sent emails regarding the issue. Since I wasnt able to utilize the portal I sent my documents as attachments to Jessica, and followed up with a phone call explaining the situation. However, apparently its an automated system and since my documents werent submitted through it I continued to receive document request emails. A minor annoyance that perhaps should be brought to technical supports attention (which I mentioned to Yazmin).The human element of Apple One is wonderful, the technical aspect not so much.

It did take a little while for me to get a placement after the previous one, however the staff has clearly been very busy speaking with employers and trying to match experience with their needs.
