Food is what youd expect from an Applebees, the appetizer I got was the Chicken Wonton Tacos, they were solid, the Wonton kinda just breaks apart at first bite. I enjoyed the limited time deal of All You Can Eat Boneless Wings, Riblets & Shrimp.Our waitress was really great and was constantly checking on us and attentive.The atmosphere of the place is what youd expect from Applebees, nothing too out of the ordinary.Overall it was a pleasant experience.

This place has a good football crowd. Food is ok and the drinks are not bad. Food has a much better taste to it than times before. Very friendly staff. I very much enjoy spending time here with the people and the sports. I spend some good time here. They staff is awesome, food is good and the jokes are always flying. Happy hour 3 to 6, then 9 til close. Ask for the half price combo. Its the secret menu.I do have a problem with the TV situation. We need the TVs back in the bar so we dont have to look through other people to watch the game. People think we are staring at them because we have to look that way.Applebees did a remodel and it looks good. They took away some TVs, not good and bar tvs should come back.

Theyre not bad for an Applebees. My major complaint here is that whenever Ive been the wait times have been unreasonably long and I was not given an even close to accurate estimate of how long I would be waiting. The food is like any other Applebees cheap, decent, and out reasonably quick. The service aside from the misgauging of wait times was acceptable, and the place was kept decently clean.

Date lunch with my husband. He got bourbon chicken w/ shrimp and I got the bourbon bacon cheeseburger. 2 for $30. Including your choice of appetizer to share or house or Caesar salad. For each. Food was hot, delicious and tasty 😋.

The evening that we went for a birthday party with a family group, everything was good we really enjoyed ourselves. The only thing was that the mashed potatoes were runny, everybody at the table who had ordered mashed potatoes, they weren’t like mashed potatoes. They were the consistency of grits. we didn’t say anything to the server because it wasn’t that big of a deal but just for future, the kitchen manager should check the quality of the food. It was probably the batch of mashed potatoes that evening, and nobody may have called attention to it, but for the price we’re paying now at the restaurants the mashed potatoes should have been at least been like mashed potatoes, and not like runny grits. Everything else was great. We really had a good time, loved the music they were playing service was good. Steak was delicious.!

My husband and I sat in bar area. There was no hostess. No one acknowledged us for at least 25 minutes.The manager and 7 employees were goofing off in the back. We had to get our own menus. I have never seen a restaurant ran like this, so unprofessional. Horrible experience. Very upset

Be careful what time you go. Go early or very late to avoid the noisy crowds. Menu has good choices with reasonable prices. Each table has an e-terminal on it for paid game playing and paying your bill. The wait staff doesnt push using it and will actually take them off your table.

Wife and I order the 2 for 20 deal and ended up getting charged for our meal as separate entrees and never received our appetizer. The waitress even came back and verified our order and said the appetizer would be out shortly. I was not gonna make a fuss over a $5 increase in price but I would of liked my appetizer since i order it.

Usually we have had great service and experience. Been going to this Applebees since I was kid too.We just went there for Mothers Day and had a great experience. However, tonight I went in with my family and was completely ignored by the server. The hostess was great and sat us quickly. We sat there for 10 minutes waiting for the server. A couple was sat right across from us after us and the server went right up to them within a minute to take their order. I was going to give her another chance but then she went up and took a 4 tops order that sat down after us as well. So we got up and left and let the hostess know what happened and took our business elsewhere. Definitely wont be back there for awhile.

The place has a nice atmosphere and the service was friendly, thats what holds this place together...but the steak was weak. Steak was scrawny and thin, so dont expect it to be cooked the way you want it, but it did have a great flavor. I guess maybe I have to consider the total value, which was okay. It may not be fair to criticize the cooks having to cook a thin steak to medium rare, its not easy. Maybe thats just how an 8oz steak is. I like that they responded, so I upped my review to better match the experience.When the bill came though, it had a third dinner on there that we didnt order or get. Im an accountant, and when it was corrected, I noticed that whoever corrected it, COMPed it out. It should have been voided. I dont think it was the waitress, it was some management person. I just think the owners should know.

The only hilight for my birthday meal was our server.. The raspberry tea was nasty tasting, I ordered riblet with mashed potatoes. The potatoes had NO flavor! I added so much salt/pepper the riblets were funky also I brought it home for my dog. I didnt send it back because the two for 26$ menu had a burger I could order, but hubby ordered that, it was dripping and oozing oily grease..

I ordered blackened shrimp alfredo and a house salad. The salad was delicious. I loved it. Fresh and crisp. Very nice! The shrimp alfredo was absolutely awful. I ate 3 bites and half of the bread stick. The server was very nice but gave me ranch when I ordered blue cheese, forgot what I ordered and had to come back and ask, told me he was going to bring more water but didnt, and offered me a to go box for a meal that it was clear that I didnt enjoy. So I basically paid $23 for a house salad and friendly server that hopefully was just having an off day.

We havent been here in a while. The new design and color motif are pleasing to the eyes. There are many new TVs where you can see an array of entertainment while eating. We got the much advertised all you can eat boneless wings. Our server was amazing, asking what flavor we wanted next and timing it to where as we were finishing one flavor as the next was coming out. Our drinks were always filled and he was extremely courteous on each and ever interaction he had with us.

The server was very forgetful at first I thought she might be busy or who knows (it was not busy) it was only my son and I. She seemed bothered when I asked her for a kids menu. She wasnt friendly, she didnt come over to ask if we wanted refills, or if we needed anything. She didnt provide me with my balance how usually they do and then offer for you to pay at the kiosk, I still tipped her, and she just came over gave me my receipt and left . No thank you or have a great rest of your evening. She was very polite and friendly to the other tables but not to us.

Very disappointed! We ordered 3 different appetizers to share during the happy hour along with a bar drink and a dinner. Drink arrived after the appetizers, actually had to remind the server. Then when the bill came, didnt get happy hour pricing on the appetizers so asked server. Was told that mgmt was now enforcing happy hour items in the bar seating area only. No signs to that posted. Not mentioned when hostess did the seating. I feel server neglected to tell us this when ordering when I mentioned happy hour items. Nevermind that we sat at exact same table the week before and had been able to get the deal. Would have ordered another dinner instead of the appetizers for the pricing.

We visited the bar and loved it! Comfortable spot with lots of screens (football!!!), excellent bartender and customer service. We ordered the pretzels with the beer cheese and the chips with the queso yum yum!! Drinks were delicious. I havent visited a Applebees for at least 10 years and that was in New Jersey, very nice surprise!

Ordered online and when I went to pick up my order, I parked in the designated pick up parking space and went through the procedure to let them know I had arrived. Waited for about 10 minutes before calling them. They told me someone was bringing the order to my vehicle right away. waited another 10 minutes before I called them again and the employee I spoke with said they were short staffed and that if I wanted I could just walk in a pick up my order. When I asked for the manager, I was told no one was available. I went in and the employee I spoke with heard me ask for my order and ran to the kitchen to hide. My food was cold by then so I asked for the manager again and waited for another 5 minutes before giving up. It seems they dont have a good grasp of what customer service means.

Disgustingly dirty. Host sat us at a booth that had trash all over the benches and a BUNCH of food on the floor. Only reason I agreed to sit there is he said he would be back to clean up the mess, but he never came back. They gave us a high chair for my 10 month old, I wiped it down with a wet wipe and it literally came out black. Took 4 to clean it completely. Definitely not going back. For the price point my family could have gone to Olive Garden or Pappys and it would have actually been clean.Best part of the experience was the waitress was awesome! Hopefully she leaves that dump!

Ordered our food on a busy night, and while my family was pretty much done with their meals, mine still wasnt brought out to my table. Not until the waitress asked how everything was, we asked for my meal and she said she would go check it out. And apparently, my meal was the only thing that didnt go through or whatever. I just cancelled my order and let it be. But it bugged me so here I am. And I dont really complain about anything, but this got to me for some reason.

Not at all like previous visits. We walked in, place was very empty. Three tables taken in the whole restaurant. Four people at the bar. Even though we plenty of places to sit we were asked to sit and wait for 15 minutes. Service was very very slow. Server was also doing dual service splitting time between the bar. Our drinks came out 15 minutes after we ordered. Our food came out in three visits. I was not used to this, I also let the server know. He said he was very busy.

Waitress rarely checked on us. I had to go to the bar to order food for me and my elderly mom. She didnt provide silverware so I had once again to go to the bar to get it, not did she offer to go containers, I had to get those from the shelf. We were standing up to leave because she wasnt coming for the check...she met us on the way out. The worst part is they were not busy at all and she was sitting at the tables near the back doing nothing! I gave myself the tip!

The service was not how I remembered it. My co-worker and I visited after work on a Friday. We arrived during Happy Hour, hoping to just relax and enjoy some good food and a drink. The bartender at first seemed very tasteful and courteous. When we ordered our drinks, we were served water, way too much ice and a shot of food coloring. There was no alcohol in these drinks. I am not a heavy drinker, and I did not taste anything alcoholic about it. The bartender told us thats how happy hour normally is. Just a little sweet and sour and then she offered us the regular priced drinks. We got those....no difference. I know this seems petty, but really? Whats the point of Happy Hour?

I never EVER leave bad reviews because I’ve never had a super horrible experience but this time it’s BAD!! I’ve been to Applebees multiple times and had a great time but yesterday I had the WORST customer service EVER!!! I’ve never had this happen to me the host had been giving my brother an attitude when asking for a table and what’s worse is that after I confronted the Host named Michael the manager was right there and didn’t intervene or apologize about the way her employee was acting. I just confronted the host by asking why the attitude and the host continued to say that he never gave attitude while giving me attitude. I just gave it a rest but he gave me an attitude the whole conversation through. A few minutes after we were seated another woman confronted the SAME host telling him that she didn’t appreciate his ATTITUDE. I could tell the convo was heated by the way he was speaking to the customer but yet again after that incident the manager STILL HAD THE AUDACITY TO KEEP HIM AS HOST. Our dinner at that point was ruined I’m just really glad we had an AMAZING server who is super sweet named Melissa she made all our requests possible! I’m not sure if we’ll ever go back again and I’ll make sure to tell my friends and family to be careful with the employees and managers who don’t even care to provide great customer service.

We have been doing a Pancake Breakfast for our school 1-2 times per year for the past seven years. It has always been a great experience working with Applebees and we really appreciate all the support they have given to the community by doing this for schools and other groups. However, my experience dealing with one of the newer managers had been far less than stellar this past fundraiser with them. She was rude to me on the phone when taking about picking up tickets, she was condescending to me and the kids while we were there at the event, and she accused us twice for giving out too much food to the people who came in support of our fundraiser. In my opinion, it is clear that she doesnt enjoy doing these and it showed in her interactions with me and my students. I will need to reconsider other fundraising events in the future

I love eating and drinking at Applebees in Santa Maria Ca. But the behavior of the manager named Leigh Ann needs to be corrected. I do not consider it correct or professional to yell and draw attention to an employee in front of consumers. The owners or supervisors of this Chain must educate their managers to treat employees with dignity and respect. If the manager has a problem with his employee, the right thing to do is to call him in private and tell him where he is failing. Doing it in front of us consumers is not only disrespectful to him but also humiliates him. I hope that my opinion is taken into account because it has not been only once that this manager draws the attention of the employees in front of us the consumers. It is very important to teach the staff respect and kindness in treating any person.

Their 2 for $25 has always been a favorite of ours. A really great value and just the right size so we dont overeat. Not an issue with me, but my wife just has to look at food and she gains a pound. She just checks her Weight Watchers points ahead of time before ordering. The food is always great, never had a bad meal there. The only draw back is that it can be noisy, hence 4 stars instead of 5. Yes, I know its a bar and grill so the noise is expected. While we prefer a quieter setting while dining the value and quality outweighs the noise.

Applebees is always one of my go-to restaurants when I cant think of anything in particular that I want. The food is good, service is good, and prices are reasonable. The time I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad. The chicken was grilled to perfection and the salad was great and fresh with just the right amount of nuts and crunchy rice noodles. Could have used a little less dressing as it was a little bit too sweet for my taste. Next time Ill order it on the side.

The place started with really horrible costumer service with me and 6 others arriving at 9:20pm and they finally give me me a table 10:23pm, later on while seated aswell another half hour wait to just get us our drinks. We decided to sing songs while the wait the song if your happy and you know it clap your hands was for some reason really disrespectful, so our waitress was switched with an other waitress and this lady didnt brings our food 11:10. Which that by itself is really bad waiting to eat at restaurant for 2 hours. Then when receiveing the main dish I had a shrimp fajitas and the smell of the shrimp was honestly nasty to the point where other costmers said the shrimp was bad, of course I asked for a replacement and the waitress very rude asked why and what happend and leaving with a really bad taste of smell. Then the manager with all do respect comes with the plate and acted like she was not doing anything wrong, not even a sincere apology or anything, that there is bad food handling I couldve gotten sick and maybe even gotten an illness to eat such dish. Then we didnt feel welcomed so I asked for the manager to change us waitress and the manger comes and tell me you guys are the ones being rude to the first waitress and right away got disrespectful with me by saying that she has no one else to help so we had to stay with the same waitress, as the manger she didnt do anything to solve the problem, this made me feel very uncomfortable by the costumer service and food handling starting with the manger Lisa.THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD IN MY LIFE WITH NOTHING BUT A BAD EXPERIENCE DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING IF YOUR A BIG GROUP OR ATT ALL.,This should just be considered as a complaint not much of a review.

Me and my buddy Mike go to Applebees every year on Veterans Day and get a free meal for veterans. I was in the Marines and my friend was in the Air Force. I cant say enough good things about Applebees for doing this. The menu for the free Veterans day meals is great and includes steaks, burgers, and salads. So fresh and good tasting! I think Ive ordered everything on the menu at least once. It is super fun to sit and visit with other veterans and enjoy the common experiences we had together serving in the military. In the past my son and I enjoyed many wonderful meals at this location, sadly, however, it has changed and not for the better. Where my sons steak was prepared per his request, mine was not, and was in fact overcooked, tough and cooler than it should have been when served. Both of our baked potatoes were under-cooked, as were the vegetables! The carrots were hard and all the vegetables which, were supposedly steamed, were cold to barely warm. When I put a dab of whipped butter on the vegetables, it did not melt at all and retained its shape the entire time I attempted to eat as much as I dared. Despite my sons refusal to mar the occasion of our visit by complaining about the food, I noticed he even struggled with the under-cooked baked potato and vegetables. On the other hand the hostess and waitresses seemed very nice and tried to be accommodating as possible. Like one of the other commentators here I found it odd when we drove into the parking lot and found a space close to the restaurant, which otherwise would have been packed at that hour. Little wonder why!

My complaint is for the flapjack fundraiser Applebees does. We have been doing the flapjack fundraiser for almost 8 years through put church. Its been the past few years ran by a gentleman named John. He was so sweet and kind. He has since moved on to another restaurant. Now there is another manager doing the flapjacks. Such a change. First off John has always told us it was all you can eat. Well about 30 minutes into the fundraiser one of the manager runners came up to me and said people are only allowed 2 pancakes, 1 scoop of eggs, 1 scoop potatoes and 2 sausage links and no second time through. I informed her that that was NEVER mentioned on the all the conversation and wasnt put in writing either and how in the past is was all you could eat. She shrugged her shoulders and walked away! The runner continued to badger guest and tell them only one trip. People where really upset. We never saw the actual manager she was hiding in the office the whole time and had the runner do her dirty work. I even told them we wont be returning to do another fundraiser after we have been doing them for many year. She didnt seem to care. She hovered around us the whole time while serving people. At 930 she came up to me and asked if anymore people where coming to eat. Really? People come in all the time how would I have an exact count?! She then in turn said we just need to make sure we have enough food. Then at 950am my son went to get two to go plates to take to people who bought them. We wanted to make sure it was warm. And the runner wouldnt let me child get butter or syrup and told him shop is closed! Ridiculous! I have never been so disrespected. I would never suggest them for a fundraiser again. AND THE RUNNER PICKED A PANCAKE OFF THE GROUND AND PUT IT BACK IN WITH THE OTHER PANCAKES TO SERVE! ABSURD!

We decided to go to celebrate birthdays in our family. Usually, weve enjoyed the food at Applebees, but something has changed. My wife had a half rack of ribs that were so dry and thin (probably a 1/4 of tough dry meat, with sauce) she was not happy. The meat didnt taste like a sirloin, more like a chewy chicken fried steak. I was not happy. The boys ordered burgers, you figure theyll like the burgers... right? Nope. The burger meat looked like it had been cooked then left to dry out. My youngest said he wished we had gone McDonalds. I was sad to say, I agreed with him. I dont know who handles your quality control, but they need some serious help. We had a hard time finding this place. Its in between mcdonalds and the road house. Pleasant hostesses and decent waiter. Food was good. The lemonade was good.
