Today, I visited the Apple Store at Valencia Town Center. The store was not only spacious and comfortable, but the staff were also extremely friendly. In particular, an employee named Alex provided exceptionally courteous and efficient service. I am very grateful for his help. He saved our day.

I recently had an utterly disappointing experience at the Apple Store, and it pains me to say that my encounter with Luis, the manager, left much to be desired. Despite being faced with an issue that stemmed from a software update pushed out by Apple itself, Luis showed a shocking lack of understanding and empathy.Not only did Luis fail to offer any meaningful assistance, but he also hid behind rigid policies, leaving me feeling utterly abandoned as a customer. It was clear that his primary concern was not resolving my issue or providing exemplary customer service, but rather adhering blindly to company protocols, regardless of the circumstances.In a world where customer service and understanding should be paramount, my experience at the Apple Store with Luis at the helm was a stark reminder of how frustrating and dehumanizing corporate interactions can be. Until there is a fundamental shift in mindset and approach within the stores management, I would caution others to think twice before entrusting their technology needs to Apple.

The truth is that I have always had a good opinion of the Apple store but I had never suffered an act of racism. The manager did not want to serve us and some American people arrived and quickly they would be serving them and we were waiting.

They wanted to charge $160 to repair a screen or get a new phone for $370, mind you this was on an Apple 7 iPhone, what a rip off. We Fix Now in the mall repaired the screen for $70. I will never go to the Apple Store again . Great people horrible company!!!!

I made an appointment with this store to have the battery replaced on my iPhone 7 Plus. Upon arrival, I gave my phone to the agent and returned an hour later as requested. I was then told they could not replace my phone today, because they did not have a replacement phone in case they damaged my phone while replacing the battery. I would need to return another day when a replacement phone was in stock. I drove home and made the 35 mile trip back to the store a few days later. Once again I gave the phone to the agent and returned an hour later. This time I was told my phone had water damage, and they would not replace the battery. This was odd, because the phone has never been exposed to any significant moisture. I do live in a desert. None the less, at this point after incurring the expense of driving 140 miles, I had nothing.Therefore, I ordered a replacement battery from iFixit. It arrived at my doorstep in two days, and I replaced the battery myself. The replacement was fairly straightforward, and there was no water damage inside the phone as you can see in the picture below. Given all the shiny new phones on display at the Apple store, I let you draw your own conclusions as to why they would not replace my battery.

Drove 1.5 hours to get to my appointment to get my business phone screen fixed just to be told it can’t be done till tomorrow. I made sure to make an appointment and told them the reason over the phone to make sure I do not have to drive back and that I would indeed be helped with the issue at my appointment. I am now being told my phone can not be fixed until tomorrow. Made absolutely no sense to even have an appointment made prior. They did nothing at all during the appointment. Highly do not recommend this Apple Store. Apple service has been less than bare minimum.

They could’ve sold me an iPhone, apple care, accessories, Apple credit card and a trade in but instead I walked out without anything and the resolve never to buy anything from that store again. Reflects poorly on store management. Too many other places to buy apple products than to support this store. Horrible customer experience.

Made an appointment, but when we walked in was ignored by the gentleman checking people in and instead by passed us to a younger couple he would have rather talked to, twice. I then had to search out someone else in the store just to check in for a phone I was paying for outright. This is the first bad experience in this location, but it only takes one time to ruin an impression. We have bought many apple products from this location, but the next time we will visit a store in a neighboring community for better service.

This store is horrible!!! I have never experienced such awesome and poor customer service in my 60+ years on the planet! The sales and service tech and leads are full of tricks and pull out everything they can just so that they do not have to honor the warranty on the new awful Apple accessory products. I went in to replace two (2) items that are under warranty and was told abruptly that the store was out of the products that were under warranty just so that they could sale a new product. The biggest GAME in town. Also, DON’T expect to speak with or attempt to reason with any leadership there as they claim they have no manager over the store whatsoever, just leads. I’m going to the corporate office and if no results, I’m going back to my bank for all of the money I have spent at Apple this year!!!

Many bad experiences at the this, from not having the part in stock to sending my laptop outside the store and taking over 2 weeks to get it fixed.Today it topped it off with their recall on the air pods pro, I came in yesterday and the tech makes up the excuse that the pods needing charging, since they were closing he didn’t want to deal with it, I come back today to get a totally different response that they can only exchange one pod because the other one is not charging so I ask them to replace all of it and they saying that power is not covered under the recall, it’s getting pretty bad with Apple products, save your precious time and don’t come in into this location, they’re not helpful at all

Ive yet to use a repair service or trade in, but the general service here seems to be good. Ive made a number of purchases and a couple returns, always went fine. Just keep in mind they typically only give 14 days to return.I think Apple as a company charges too much for certain things but this rating is for the store rather than the company as a whole.

This Apple Store is the worst. Not the worst Apple Store -- the worst store, period.Do. Not. Trust. It.My 2019 iMac was experiencing performance issues, and -- after a reformat -- serious boot-up errors, so I brought it to Rotten Apple Valencia Town Center. They gave me a hard drive and logic board quote and said itd be good to go in 24 hours.A 24-hour job stretched to three miserable weeks of pointless phone calls, 20 minutes of ringing and hold music at a time just to connect to another unhelpful human. None of them improved my situation in any way. One chose violence and hung up on me mid-sentence.Nearly a month later, my iMac was back and operating -- really poorly. Probably because 64 GB of upgraded RAM Id installed last year had somehow alchemized into a 4GB and 16GB card.Ring ring, mothersnuffers.The store manager was beyond useless. Turns out his technician (JC) had filed paperwork documenting only 20 GB of RAM inside, so I must be imagining things. (And I am: things like accidentally switching two customers iMacs, or staff swapping and pocketing expensive RAM...)The kicker? Even after buying and installing more RAM, this iMac -- whoevers it is -- is plodding along about as poorly as 30 days ago, when the drive/board died.This store and its staff have collectively cost me $800 in repairs, $300 in missing components, and four weeks of lost work income. Had I not already wasted an exorbitant amount of time on them, Id pay this store one final visit with the police.Lesson learned, I will go ANY distance to find an Apple Store other than this. Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Went in to buy 2 iPhone 14’s and the first salesman tried to sell me a 13 mini??? Ok that’s fine. Then we went to buy the phones and the employee couldn’t and didn’t want to help us buy the phones. It was 30 minutes before close so they for sure didn’t want to possibly have to stay late. They told us to go to the AT&T store because they don’t want to help. They wasted 2 hours of my time… too a point where it was too late to go to AT&T. They literally made it so that I couldn’t buy a phone that day. THIS STORE IS A DISGRACE TO APPLE. Your better off driving further and going to a different Apple Store.

Save yourself the time and money and don’t do a trade in here. You’re better off at best buy or something else. I had someone come and help with my trade in, everything went fine until it was time for them to give me the money for the phone which was $300. The guy didn’t even ask how i would like the refund, and assumed i wanted it back on the gift card that was used to buy the phone, which i no longer had access to. He told us he couldn’t do anything about it because he had already submitted the payment. A supervisor came and told us the same. So thank you Jacob and Corey, im out of a phone and $300.

Lack appropriate inventory controls.I made an appointment 2 days in advance via the Apple plus assistant due to a broken IPad Pro screen ( 4 months old) and I had the Apple insurance. I clearly told the rep the screen was entirely shattered. Went in and was told they didn’t have a replacement in Valencia but did in a few other stores. I drove 38 miles one way from my home to be there. They had 2 days to plan to be certain they had a replacement. Instead, today I have to return today now that they have the replacement available. Could have been done in one trip had they planned and carry appropriate inventory. This was not an old model nor inexpensive IPAD either so no excuse for no inventory.The other peeve with Apples stores is they are so jealousy proprietary that they don’t carry screen protectors, even when you buy a $2,000 IPad with insurance. I realize the damaged screen was entirely my responsibility but had they included a screen protector at the outset or had it been available on their website I would have readily purchased one ~ I was meaning to get one just got put on hold. Had I had a screen protector I feel the screen wouldn’t have shattered. For the wholesale cost of a screen saver to those who purchased the protection coverage, Apple would have saved to cost of a new 2 TB IPad Pro and a lot of time and customer inconvenience.

I tend to not review often, but my experience here yesterday was horrendous and uncalled for. Xiantoni was apart of the customer service personnel at the Genius Bar and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to another Genius Bar due to her services. I went into the store as I was having an issue with iCloud showing my contact images. She decided on taking my phone from me, and with the contact that I used as an example to show the issue, she deleted the message thread. 2 years of pictures I cannot get back. Upon me stating that I didn’t want her to do that, she ensures me not to worry because the new update made it where we could recover them… I don’t have the new update. She then spent the next five minutes berating me on me not having the new update, and pressuring me into getting my battery serviced when my originating problem had nothing to do with any of that. Unfortunately I left with my problem not being fixed, and two years of important pictures unable to be recovered.Some originating questions Xiantoni should’ve asked:1.) Is your phone backed up?2.) Is your phone running on the latest IOS?These two questions would’ve helped my case immensely before she decided on deleting things on her own.At the end of the consultation she tried looking up solutions on Google (which I had already done) and ended up shrugging. She said to update my phone and call iCloud support. This entire process was horrendous. Still devastated about 2 years of pictures through a message thread I’ll never get back because of her. Never again. Please do better.

BEWARE, THEY’LL DO WHAT IT TAKES TO GET AS MUCH MONEY FROM YOU AS THEY CAN. I got my battery replaced 3 months ago on my 2017 MacBook only because battery service was recommended. My battery was working fine, just not new. I get my laptop back and within days it had trouble waking up. I took it in 4 times over the three months and every time they were able to wake it up but said the problem was fixed when it was not fixed. I couldn’t wake it up for 3 days. I took it in and they told me my warranty was up.. after they sent we away at least 3 times, unwilling to send it out. The genius said it was a graphics issue so I’d need to pay upwards of 600$ to fix it. I told him it was not a graphics issue because it works wonderfully when it’s on. I left.I was weary to try any resets because last time I did that it went into a mode I was unfamiliar with and couldn’t see any display. The Apple geniuses helped that time but said I didn’t need to send it out, still under warranty. THEY are the reason my warranty expired by not letting me send it out.Having nothing to loose, after being on the phone with a representative for an hour to no avail, I decided to try an SMC reset and it worked.. no graphics issue. The genius tried to get me to pay money to fix a problem that was not there without attempting to fix the real issue. It seems I’m more qualified to work at the Genius Bar than half the employees there. The problem persists, it won’t wake up. But at least I can manage it, it seems.This is grifter level business. I’ve bought many Apple products. I’m pretty devout to the brand. But they wouldn’t even extend the warranty to someone that tried to send it out for repairs 3 times within the warranty period to fix a problem the THEY created. I take immaculate care of my MacBook. This problem only occurred when the Apple service care opened my computer to replace the battery. The problem started almost immediately after it arrived. Apple service created a new problem in my laptop and refused to fix it. This behaviour lends itself to conspiracy theories. I wouldn’t be surprised if they purposefully created another issue with my laptop after noticing it’s been 5 years since my last laptop purchase from them. It makes more sense when they turn me away during my warranty period to ask for 600$ once it’s expired. Shame on Apple.I did This geniuses job better than him only after he recommended I pay to get my graphics fixed and told me I’m out of warranty. I’m so glad I didn’t.Im extremely upset with Apple and the Santa Clarita store employees. They’re a massive company who still insists on duping costumers every chance they get. I don’t think I’ll be buying from Apple anymore. I’ve submitted a formal complaint.The level of technological expertise on the products is extremely low at this location. I don’t have a computer degree but I genuinely seem to know much more about their products and computers overall. They seem like nice people but the second I go over 15 minutes with them they seem to shut off and just try to get me to be satisfied enough to leave. It’s the worst Apple Store I’ve been to. I live about two hours from this store, my friends and I were at Six Flags when my phone was stolen and we were unable to find who took it or recover it, so we left the park to see what we could do. Since the phone was still pretty new, I pretty much had to pay off a whole phone to activate a new one, but couldnt afford all of it up front. Isaac (I think that was his name) was super kind, patient, and helpful. He sat with my friends and I as I explained the situation and helped me work through the best possible options I had. Super amazing staff made an unhappy experience as best as it could be.

Agree with other reviewers. Dont waste your time here. Have never had a good experience with this store. Most recently, went in to have a simple key popped back on my new MacBook Air and the tech broke the prong off of the back of it.Then he took it in the back and came back only to announce it needed a whole new keyboard. To replace the key he broke, he gave me a new key with the prong still attached, but after breaking the mechanism on the keyboard, that wasnt helpful. The manager Shantenee is rude and has no customer service skills.

Once upon a time my phone broke (found out later from an independent repair shop that the issue was due to the logic board dying). I had heard the stories prior of apple and their anti-consumer and anti-right to repair practices and tried to warn my mother that going here would be a waste of time (i was 15-16ish at the time). We get here and tell the genius that the phone would not turn on and would not respond to charging. and all this dude does is try to plug the phone into their diagnostics ipad which doesnt work. At this point this genius did not attempt any other method to try an diagnose an issue and instead tried to upsell us their most expensive iPhone (did not even offer any alternatives either.).

I normally avoid going too the Apple store because it is usually hectic and crowded, and even a little difficult to receive help from a worker. But yesterday I was pleasantly surprised with the amazing costumer service I received from Princess! She was extremely helpful, and patient with helping my mother and I. She was able too answer any questions we asked her, helped us pick the best product for us, and even went above and beyond in helping us as we were also returning old iPads, and stayed too help us finish our purchase when it was time for her too go home. I will definitely be returning too this location just for her!

Employees are too rude, they treated you like they giving you a favor, when I ask the guy was helping me about credit I can just hear his deep breathing, very unpleasant experience, I decided to just said never mind and just handle him my credit card and request what I want, I totally understand that to them a sale of over a thousand dollars is not a big deal because is what happens here everyday, but to anyone that goes to make one of those purchases is a big deal and we should be treated with a little more respect.

Went to the Glendale store, had no problem exchanging the item. I asked the employee at the Glendale store about this company policy and they said there was no such thing.Will no longer use this store.

I upgraded my iPhone to the XS Max at the Apple Valencia store in California on August 5, 2019, and my phone NEVER worked normally as the store was not able to connect it with Sprint. The situation remains unchanged for the last 3 months, at each of the 4 times we went to the store. Each time we heard a different diagnostic, and they refused to replace the device and instead did different procedures to try to fix the phone instead of replacing it. The first time they said by mistake they did not replace the Sim Card and that would fix the problem. The next time we were met by a rude Manager Jason Homer who not only did not listen to the issue, also implied that I did not know how to use the phone and adjust the settings properly. The other 2 times different diagnostics were given like re-setting the system and none of them work. In addition to these visits, I went a few times to the Sprint store and called their customer service to verify that the phone was registered and connected to their network. Sprint determined that the problem was not with the network. The problems I had because of no internet connections affect my work, my college, my connection with my family in Brazil and even the use of navigation apps, specially in freeways. All this could have been avoided if APPLE had exchanged the device in the very beginning, avoiding months of frustrating callas and useless visits to the store.On November 1st, I spoke with supervisor Jason from APPLE support, and told him again of all the problems I was having with the phone for the last 3 months, they contacted the store and spoke with Manager Hannah but she did not contact me. We only found out that Apple customer service called the store because we called again today the 800 number from the store and they confirmed it. I am very disappointed and tired of the run-around.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PRODUCT FOR REPAIR THERE !I have paid 500$ for my computer repair. It functioned for 2 days and I got a similar problem with my display. TERRENCE, who present himself as the manager of the genius bar, told me it was an accidental damage and refused to take responsibility for the repair warranty. My main problem was the attitude and bad behaviour misrepresenting the Apple brand. I felt a strong aggressiveness contained from his side which made me feel very uncomfortable. I am very disappointed in the service provided by this apple branch. Usually, Apple have way different standards...

He helped us with comparisons between products and helped us through the purchase, then before leaving he made sure to go over again what to expect for the pick up, which I appreciate because its easy to forget when youre dealing with all the product info, lol. My wife and me were assisted here asking for the upgrade program details 2 weeks ago, but they didn’t say nothing about having to have a t-mobile post paid plan, they did not say nothing about having prepaid phone plan, today after waiting more than 5 hours to get a reservation they sent us home to come 2 hours later. We were there and now they tell us that we need a t-mobile post paid plan and that we can not get into the upgrade program without having one. Thanks for letting us waste a ******* whole day for nothing but miss information all the time.

The Worst Customer Service I have ever received . I can write a novel of what happened but it will be pointless. Im hoping writing this review will help improve their management and customer service skills.This Apple Store (Valencia Town Center), majority of the staff need CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILL TRAINING. They need to be trained on how to approach and talk to customer. Dont get me wrong, theres two very lovely staff that I spoke to however they were in -charge of the painting/doodling with the iPad Pro. i GUESS THEY ARE NOT IN-CHARGE OF HELPING WITH SALES AND FIXING CRACK SCREEN. It was the older Caucasian lady and middle-aged guy. They were good. However, the SALES LADY WITH THE RED HAIR AND NOSE PIERCING, AND THE TECHNICIAN named Tyrone/Tyrell/Terrence has no skills or whatsoever dealing or speaking with customers. I got so frustrated with them that I had to ask one male staff to please stop talking (politely) and just to leave me alone for few minutes because none of them are helping the situation and its all negative. AND WITH ALL OF THESE FRUSTRATION WITH 3 STAFF OR MAYBE 4, NO MANAGER APPROACH ME OR EVEN BOTHER ASKING HOW CAN HE/SHE BE A HELP! Bottom line poor customer service. I love APPLE Products however, if this kind of customer service continues, no matter how beautiful or nice your product is, SHOPPERS WILL NOT WASTE THEIR TIME. Apple is too expensive of a product and customers, especially buying customers should not be treated this way! Maybe Apple need to have higher standards when it comes to hiring staff or maybe train them to be professionals and polish their CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS routinely.

Went there to get my MacBook Pro fixed. Took a week to make my appointment. Thought that they fixed it and went home. Once I had performed my restoration of my laptop, the problem arose again. I went back to the store 3 hours later and I couldnt even get a walk in appointment time because they were so busy. This Apple Store has a high tech design and is everything you would expect from an Apple Store. The on floor staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There is a Genius Bar for individual support issues. They also offer classes everyday. The one I attended was excellent and the instructor was great.

I ran to the Apple Store thinking they closed at 8pm. Upon further discussion I was not able to proceed with my transaction. They apparently check your license for any credit card transactions. I was in a hurry and just brought my credit card with me. Because of my slight amnesia, I only carry the cards I need. I did not bring my drivers license with me because of my clumsiness when it comes to losing items. For such reasoning, I dont ever believe Ive had to show my license for transactions at the gas station, the grocery store, restaurants, and etc. this day and age with so much card usage why is it a standard policy to check identification along with a credit card? I can guarantee you I was not happy to the fullest extent. I just wanted to purchase a wall outlet plug in for my iPhone so I could stop wasting gas to charge my phone in the car. Your store sucks! Pretty standard as far as Apple Stores go—the layout of the store is clean and easy to navigate, all the tech is laid out for you to try as you please. Even on crowded days, theres almost always an employee readily available to assist you, and theyre knowledgeable in the tech and accessories youre looking for. Its relatively deep into the Westfield shopping center so its not immediately visible from the parking lot, but its worth the trek if youre looking for a new Apple product.

I was called by Apple Valencia in regards to a repair I first took in for a keyboard problem which later I found out was a defect that occurs among the product line. I paid for the repair as they stated they need to replace the bottom case which I was perfectly fine with. They said they will cover it since this was happening around the macbook pro product line and theres a service for it now. Not happy with this store at all. Brought in an IPhone 6 to get a simple screen repair, they tell me it’s going to be no more than an hour and give me a tag. So I figured I will wait around on the phone so I walk around. 50 minutes go by and I stop in to check and they ask for another 40 minutes due to calibration issues. I came to the apple store to buy my first Mac and the guy was really polite and help me choose the best MacBook for me. He also help me set it up and create my own apple ID. I take it to them, and they say they found some dried up liquid and if I want them to continue it would be over $700. I bought a brand new iPhone 8plus from this store and received a lemon phone where Siri didn’t work and it was a hardware issue however for them to figure it out it took several days to find out the diagnosis of the problem . Over the past year, Ive been to the Apple Store more times than I can count for repairs on my many laptops. I owned a MacBook Air, which had plenty of issues, and that was replaced with a MacBook Pro which I paid for the upgrade. You dont need to reproduce the issue when the computer is overheating because that could damage the computer. I dont understand whats going through their heads over there.
