The store is always clean and well-organized, offering a great selection, and although prices are high for Apple products it’s totally worth it! The service is attentive, and the classes are excellent. I just wish there were more classes at the Topanga location.

The store was so frustrating to be at. I waited for over 30 minutes to have someone help me at the genius bar, the guy who was able to help me and suggested I need to buy a laptop instead of getting my current one fixed. The price to fix the laptop is much more than just buying a new laptop. He of course can’t sell it to me so I wait another 30 minutes, meanwhile I can see five different employees just sitting around, and I can hear them talking about social matters while I’m waiting for someone to come assist me. The guy who does come to sell me the laptop doesn’t know anything about Apple. Not even the different colors of Apple products, he is unable to turn off my iPhone on the laptop, he’s unable to look into my iCloud and how to save it, he’s unable to determine the trade-in value for the laptop, everything he needed to do he had to ask another person to come help. The only thing he was willing to talk to me about was his partying experience at UCSB. I was very disappointed at his lack of knowledge or experience considering I’m paying over $1000 for one of Apple products. A the end of this experience I commented on how he didn’t do anything except for click a screen on his phone and I could’ve easily done that. He said “t sure is nice to get paid for nothing “ I will never come back here I would just go to Best Buy next time, at least they have a knowledgable geek squad.

I took my wife here to while we were at Topanga mall. I got her a MacBook Air, Apple Watch and IPhone 12 so shes all apple now. I was showing her the different bands they have for the apple watch and also showing her how the iPhone 14 look. The store is basically the same like any other apple store. I wanted to show her some Mac monitors that I was interested in getting but there wasnt any in the store. There apple staff around if you have any questions but we didnt and they didnt bother us while we were looking.

I absolutely despise the Apple Store. None of the employees at this store are helpful in the slightest. The DMV is more organized than this store. The employees refuse to help anyone and actively ignore customers, it’s disgusting. I came here to buy a new laptop charger and I sat in the store for 2 HOURS and nobody even glanced at me. I’ve seen better customer service in jails, it’s sickening. I don’t know where to get better Apple customer service, but this place is NOT it. Don’t have a heart attack or stroke in the middle of this store, the employees would probably ignore you.The employees actively socialize together while ignoring customers. Working at an Apple Store is probably the easiest paycheck ever earned because none of the employees actually do work. Amazing how they get pleasure from wasting your time

The best Apple Store around! I’m beyond impressed by the kindness and efficiency of people who work here! I was helped by an employee whose name is Sang and manager Stephanie, who both have helped me immensely. I wasn’t even buying new stuff, I came in with a problem with my existing devices and was treated like the most valuable customer! Big thank you!

I briefly dropped in here to purchase an iPhone case while traveling through the area. I showed the store assocaite my phone model and he said he had one kind/color of case for me. I purchased the case he got for me, and then left the store. After leaving I headed to the airport and when I got to my destination I unboxed the case and found it did not fit my phone because he had given me the wrong case. I live in a state that doesnt have any Apple stores, so I called this Apple store to see if I could return the $55 case by mail and they were very unhelpful and told me there was no way to do that, they woman also told me she had never heard of a retail store accepting returns by mail and that returns by mail dont exists. Her statement was entirely false, because I travel often and have returned multiple items by mail to retail stores with no issues. She then directed me to call the Apple online store, saying they might be able to do something to help. When I called the Apple online store the representative was equally unhlpeful and actually fairly rude. She then wasted 30+ minutes of my time requiriung me to stay on the phone while she places a 3-way call to this Apple store to chastise them for directing me to call them. And neither her or the online store offered any resoution. It was a bizarre experience and very poor customer service. After 3+ hours on the phone being put on hold and passed back and forth, nothing was resolved. One would think an international company with thousands of locations would have a method for in-store returns by mail, but apparently the final word on it is that its not possible for Apple to accept a return by mail when they sold the wrong product to a customer. In the end, I had to travel out of state to an Apple location to complete my return.

I had an appointment for a service battery replacement (iPhone 11), after my phone passed all the diagnostic, I was told that the little screws to open the cover were damaged & tech.will not replace the battery (excuse to sell me a new phone). My iPhone cover had never been opened for any kind of service. Very bad technical service… any excuse to refuse service!!!!

Definitely comes from bad management otherwise these people shouldn’t be working there or need a serious training.Too many employees walking around and taking to each other’s. Its on the 2nd Floor! Use the stairs, escalator to go up, or the elevator or whatever.Parking is really easy in the mall, except for like the week before Christmas. LOL.Customer service was great. There was a guy who was helping someone else, who quickly gave me a head nod, to let me know hed be with me in a second. And he was. Checked in, and then waited about 2 or 3 minutes to see a tech specialist.Stacy!! Youre the best. Really patient, and understanding. Also very intelligent and knowledgeable! She helped me unclick a random feature that got turned on accidentally, which made the iPad do this weird thing. Basically, I had to click on something, then double-click it again for it to work. Pain in the neck while typing.. each... indivual.. letter. Oy! But Stacey fixed it with just a few clicks in the general settings menu.The store is pretty clean. They do have the security guard there in case youre worried about your safety and all that. Actually, I like seeing the mall in general hired more security guards.So kudos to you.

All other Apple stores ought to come to this store to see how it’s done!!! Not only did they have a full line of products, they were fully-staffed to deal with the Apple 15 launch. I honestly couldn’t count all the blue-shirted Apple employees, but they almost had a one- to-one ratio of shoppers to employees! The store was well organized, and the employees were expert in their knowledge and collaborated with each other to problem solve. This was not the closest Apple store to my house, but it well worth the extra thirty minute drive for the service and product availability. This Apple store had an electric vibe of energy to it like this was the place to be see and learn about the latest in technology!

If I had option I would not give them even one star because this location was messed up and had very rude and unprofessional employee .We walked in to store and had plan to check new tablet but all pens was out of charge and when we asked for pen one of employee said it is what is it and now we don’t have any charge pen…and he turned back his face and went to hang out with another employee…We asked for manager to tell about what is what and she(Stefanie) was more rud than employee over there and answersed us with actitud and asked stupid question that was very simple and clear.

Michelle Cuvarubias is my go-to girl. She has the A1 service. Thank you. We had a problem with my Dads phone. Michelle was able to help us retrieve our old apple ID and set us up. Easier said, then done. Our old phone would only turn on for a few seconds. She has patience and great customer service. She was extremely helpful. Store is of great quality but unfortunately some of the support staff have a sense of entitlement. I came in for a warranty exchanged for a leather iPhone case I bought in the store, broken from both sides near the buttons. Staff rejects my exchange without even making eye contact and says that it only covers “peeling”.?? I didn’t argue because clearly I wasn’t going to get any help from the staff. Next time I’ll just send an email instead of coming to the store.

DO NOT BUY BELKIN SCREEN SAVER I purchased the screensaver with my brand new phone at this Apple store. I should be able to have it replaced here and not fight Belkin. I have been fighting with Belkin for over a month. They want me to give them a credit card in order for them to mail me a replacement. This store is not allowed to replace what I bought with a lifetime warranty. It is six times more expensive than Amazon which I’ve noticed no difference. The manager did try to help me but it’s blocked by Belkin. Their website freezes nobody shows up when you try to talk to them online. Over the phone they’re not allowed to accept a credit card. I have no way of getting a new screensaver without their cooperation. Do not buy Belkin

One of the most horrible and unprofessional apple staff works at this store. Went there this past weekend to get the new iPhone 14 pro max for my wife, wasted 5 hours inside the store to purchase the phone without any success. We were served by 5 different staff who had very limited knowledge on any apple products and their credit card. Needless to say if they had told us in the first place that backing your phone up and buying the phone online would be the better and fastest option, we wouldn’t have waited there for more than 5 hours. The manager at the store is super rude, and had the audacity to shout at customers to tell that they should know how these products work and come prepared at the store before making purchases. Super unprofessional, reading the reviews on this store seems like this is a very common problem with this store and everyone has the same complains. Please avoid this store if you don’t want to waste your time. Apple corporate should look at the reviews from this store and take actions against all the employees out at this store that is not helping the customers properly, given the fact how much expensive products people are buying from Apple, they deserve a better customer experience.

This is a great Apple location, but it can get very busy - especially during the weekends. I needed to come here for an issue with a mac mini, and I was able to schedule an appointment with the Genius Bar for the next day. The staff was helpful and was able to solve my issue withing 30 minutes. It was a very easy process. Be careful if you come during busy times, it will be hard to get a staff members attention.

Terrible! So my husbands IPhone 13 Pro Max cellphone clearly has a swollen battery. He made an appointment and Bob “helped” us. Basically he made us think he was getting “Pedro” in the back to help us with the repair of the cellphone and telling us that they needed parts INCASE the screen was damaged without even doing anything to the phone and just suggested just getting a new cellphone.He said they will call us back the next day and I even asked if we needed to make an appointment and he said no. 2 weeks later and no call from anyone in this store so my husband went to the AT&T store and got himself a new cellphone there.

First things first, when I called apple to report experience had at the topanga mall location the first thing the senior advisor said on the phone is the topanga mall location in canoga park ca has one of the highest rates of complaints in the company. So unless apple is not taking any action against that store then they already know how horrendous the employees of that location are.For over three hours I had been called a liar, disrespected, yelled at, belittled and more by several members of the topanga ca apple store employees. Most of whom said they were members of management. What should have been a swift efficient device exchange that had already been documented by apple turned into a 3 day ordeal that has cost me over a 140 miles of gas, 3 days of time, and way too much patience in keeping my composure dealing with that retail team. Their deplorable behavior is so atrocious that even the senior advisor whom I had on the phone the entire time gasped and shouted in shock as to what she had heard.The ENTIRE experience is disgusting and apple should truly be ashamed to employ such a horrendous group of people. Most specifically the manager with the beanie and neck tattoos.As a Black man I deal with experiences like this way to often. I never thought the same experience would come from apple. A completely irreparable, disgustingly disappointing, set of employees who I wager cost the company way more than it fails to realize. I have launched premium locations for multiple wireless telecom companies both high income/as well as low income communities and I can say without a single doubt that if had employees acting erroneously as every single member of that location does they would be out the door before thr amount of reviews I see here.Somebody in corporate needs to hear about this. The entire ordeal is so unbelievably over the top extra in the worst ways beyond imagination.I have already written a physical letter to apple and am looking forward to their reaponse. I intend to make sure these individuals are held accountable for their actions AS WELL as they amount of unnecessary stress they no doubt cause so many people.I am in the process of migrating my company and teams out the Apple ecosystem to Microsoft and samsung branded solutions already . I came here to sort out an issue i had with my new iphone 13. there were about 5 team members who werent busy at all. they were all in a circle chatting away, when i tried to approach them they ignored me and walked away. i did however get to speak to sean who wasn’t helpful at all and dismissed my problem without me explaining it fully. he gave me an apple number to call and sent me on my way all in the span of 5 minutes. very unprofessional young man. apple do better i will now be switching to samsung.

An update had failed and in so doing locked the iPad. This device is owned by an elderly person. The store was unable to help. One associate named Karen tried but when it needed to get info from corporate the manager was un willing, even said that it takes 2 or more days to get an email to reset . So nothing they could do too bad . This manager needs to go.

It wasn’t until I got home that I realized that the employee did a poor job of transferring data from old phone to new phone. None of my apps or contacts were transferred—it’s taken a day for me to manually load things back on and repair the damage. The employee was fairly new and apparently not properly trained. He got me into an unending two factor loop between my devices, which he couldn’t solve and didn’t go get help. He didn’t email a receipt as promised. However the employee was pleasant and friendly.

The first time we came, they told us they’re closed and they don’t have any one that could help us. I made an apt today for 11:30 AM. I showed up on time was told I will be with you in a moment and waited 25 minutes with no interaction from any of the numerous employees standing around. Two gentleman were talking about J Coles music instead of working. The manager Mark I saw partake in similar action such as stating around and chatting with a tall gentleman wearing a hat and colorful vans. I did not know mark was the manager. I realized he was when I approached him after waiting per said 25 minutes, (bc I saw a lady walk in and get help right away), I told Mark how long id been waiting and that I had an appointment. I voiced my concerns over his employees actions and indirectly his. Im not sure if he got offended but he replied with an annoyed low tone something along the lines of they werent just standing around (cant quite remember word for word), then he asked me if I had an appointment and what my name was. I was taken back by his rude tone and body language, I asked what his name was he said Mark the manager. So Mark the manager I called support and talked to the employee investigations team. Great customer service. Came in to get battery replaced due to the news I heard around the battery strength issues. They ran a diagnostic on it and found that I wouldn’t need it. It’s awesome to have people that have the customer’s needs in mind instead of trying to sell. Love these people and will be buying my next phone here despite the fact that I live in Santa Monica.

I am interested in the ultra watch for 799$, but they compliment each other with i phone . I have my late wifes phone and its fairly new, she past away last year. I always new her passwords and 100% sure i set the phone up also. I tried the password to many times and it locked me out . Cant remember the email, its just my mind is not that clear at the moment, still hard grieving. I was asking him to help recover at least the email and password or send me to the right direction. Who can help me Asian dude working there * sir how many times i have to say, we cant help you here. No one can, repeated it twice . Cant barely finish my sentence. Came for an IPhone screen replacement, I️ scheduled prior through Apple Care phone service. The repair lasted about 2 hours. When they replace anything on your phone they have to completely restarted so make sure you back up your phone prior to your visit. I️ was treated kindly but I️ did see the fast-paced environment which caused some staff to seem dismissive.Nevertheless, I️ had a good experience with the service I️ requested.

I am and will always be a Mac user for my work as a composer. I recently had an issue with my system performance and made an appointment with the apple store. I had to make three appointments, but that wasnt the fault of any of the employees. Each time I got excellent service where I really felt like they cared about my issue and stayed with me until that phase of my issue was solved. I have never gotten an employee here who I felt was sub par or didnt have excellent customer service.I do feel like its not always easy booking genius bar appointments online... and almost took off a star for that... but after thinking about it that is the fault of the company, not this specific store.

Update September 24th, 2022:I brought in my Airpod pro with an issue with the right airpod. Derrick, the technician, was unhelpful, with no intention to find a resolution but to brush off the issue and blame the way I cleaned the airpod case cause the problem! I called apple support and talked to amazing people who knew what customer service is. The manager who is running this store is not doing a good job. I have already reported them to Apple.---------------Been there a Sunday morning, a great CSR named Jenelle(I hope I’m spelling it right) was very helpful and positive. She made the process very smooth and I cannot be happier than this. Perfect experience

I needed to get a new phone so I visited the Apple store in Woodland Hills. This place is crazy busy. Maybe all apple stores are, I don’t know. I didn’t make an appointment and the wait was like 1-2 hours. Way long! I left, made an appointment for the following day and only waited like 15 mins. One in they were very efficient and helpful. I see how Apple is a B company. They are very good at getting u in and out as long as you have an appointment.

This store may be nice but I never got the chance to visit. I got off early from work and went by the mall to grab a few things when the Apple store caught my eye and I decided to wander in and see what’s new over there since I have a been in a store for at least a year. I saw this sign and was encouraged that maybe we’ve gotten to the point where I don’t need an appointment to come in but boy was I flippantly and rudely told that is not the case by a young man out front. I explained that I haven’t been to the store in a while and wanted to see what’s new he immediately retorted, “there’s nothing new!”And explained in a very offhanded way that the only way I could come in was if I had an appointment. Now that’s all well and good to require an appointment but when you have a sign out front that doesn’t say that and the young man who’s in charge of explaining what to do is about excited for me coming in as getting a tooth pulled where does that leave me, the customer that wants to spend money??Apple you usually do much better than this and I hope this is just a one off occurrence. I walked into the Apple store because I had an issue with my screen protector I was encountered with an apple staff member apparently he was new .was not capable to handle my situation after I asked for the manager he immediately came in and professionally handled the situation I’m very grateful with Sakis And Patrick made it very easy and handle the situation like a true manager would thanks again Apple for having such an educated staff and management instead of making things difficult they will improvise and be a hero Patrick handled my installation very smoothly and promptly with a superb attitude I don’t know if he’s an assistant manager or not He will be an excellent candidate just the way he handled the situation thanks guys keep up the good work Sarkis and Patrick keep up the good work

He also did it in such a manner that I didnt have to spend money even though the Mac was out of warranty. I have visited the store three times in the last six weeks. It is not what it used to be. All staff I interacted with (with one exception - that is why I give it two, and not one, star) where borderline rude. Not helpful. Not caring about me as a customer. Only one star because google made me. Was the absolute worst customer service experience Ive ever had. I was quoted $400 to replace a non-responding keyboard and track pad. When I asked for a second opinion from another Genius, she said no, and that the $400 replacement was the only option. I took it to a friend that knows a thing about Macs, he did a hard reset, and everything was fixed. So my laptop crashed. When attempting to boot up, I got the dreaded flashing folder with the question mark. I took it this Apple Store. A technician took it to the back to attempt a recovery with the install disc. When that didnt work, an appointment was made for me to return later and meet with someone at the Genius Bar. John was friendly. Actually, each person I encountered at this location was friendly. John made several attempts to recover my hard drive. Unfortunately, I dont have the language of the technical savvy to convey what he did. After a final attempt and an expression of disappointment over his efforts yielding no results, he cleaned my laptop, reinforced my makeshift securing of the battery enclosure, and proceeded to tell me where I could go to affordably purchase a new 500 GB hard drive. As he handed me my laptop, a final idea came to him (something hed never before tried). He excused himself and returned with another laptop and an item to which my hard drive was connected and then connected it to the laptop. After some time, success!!!! This effort paid off!!! He place the hard drive into my laptop. Booted the laptop and Voila! Whatever he did, he was able to determine that the issue was with my RAM. John did not give up, man. He pleasantly applied all of his Apple training to assist me with a 2008 Macbook Pro. Im so appreciative of his efforts, patience, and kindness. On my way out, I was told that he is among the best technicians so, if you find yourself at the Topanga Apple, try and see John. On a side note, come April 1st, this Apple location will close for about 6 months for renovations. John will be at the Apple store in Valencia.

Was greeted at the front by a young black dude with black framed glasses who goes by Tobin apparently who was scheduling appointments with the genius bar.He asked what my issue was and I told him that i have screen damage due to moisture exposure. He responds by saying that I still have water in my system and that I will have to replace my phone entirely, which I found ludicrous since my phones been functioning for five months after water exposure, I was just late on getting my screen fixed. Anyways, he was really adamant about me needing to replace my phone and basically told me to not bother with appointments since there was apparently a two hour wait. So i left and decided to come back thirty minutes later.Upon the second visit, a nice lady greeted me and promptly scheduled a visit with a man named Michael who was extremely helpful (i thought the wait was 2 hours long tobin?). Thankfully, not only was Mike super helpful, but also he was supportive enough to go in the back to personally open up my iphone and see if there were any water damage (there wasnt). He also told me that I dont need to replace my phone entirely and I could just get my screen replaced (i almost bought a new phone for no reason, but good thing I checked with someone else who was more competent).TL;DRSo in summary, this dude named Tobin basically lied to me about the appointment time (turning a potential customer away because maybe he was having a bad day or something) and also he didnt even have the courtesy to offer to check my phone to see if my screen could just be replaced without me having to buy a new phone. So thanks for wasting my time. Worst Expierence EVER!!!!!!I came in after purchasing an iPhone 4s earlier in the year for $799.00. Then he goes to take my phone apart, and he comes back saying that my phone is working properly and that my issue is strictly a carrier issue.After he takes my phone to the back the second time, he says that I have water damage on my phone and that the damage is to blame.This was the most shady experience Ive ever had in my life.First the fault was all my carriers, and than mine. Never once did they claim any responsibility.I feel this disreputable company is only getting more backstabbing towards its clients.They will do anything to make you have to pay more money. I wouldnt invest anymore of my hard earned money in this waste of a consumers buck.The callous and mean demeanor makes me ill. I use to believe in this company, but apparently they make profits and not client satisfaction. They attempted to replace a broken iPhone 6 screen. Their subsequent test of the phone was a failure and they replaced my 25 day old phone with a some questionable refurbished model, but they presented it as new. I found out it wasnt new when I got home and the phone needed a software update, prior to backup. They tried to tell me that the only way to get my info off of my old phone was if it was backed up on iTunes or the cloud. I know they have a box that can connect two phones to transfer at least contacts. My original phone that they attempted to fix the screen on, they claimed to be unable to get past that main screen once they came out to give me the replacement. When I walked in, the phone was totally functional, it only had a very minor crack on the face. Do not trust this shop.
